I got myself a Caesars Palace credit card to get the perks and status the card gives you but to my surprise when I got it, I had to go through a website to check all transactions and pay the card. I check all my cards on a regular basis and use my phone to check and it was never possible for that card. Now finally with this app I can do that on the phone. I have stopped using the card because it is such a hassle to log in and see. Good move to offer this app now. I will see if I use the card now. I will change my rating if I encounter any issues but so far I am glad it works.
I am a new customer. I was told that I put in the wrong payment information but I know I didn’t and customer service went out of there way to give no solutions but more or less threatened me. They made it very clear that the computer was glitched continuously went down. They went so far as to inform me that I must of used my debit card instead of my checking information which made no sense since the routing info was correct but the checking info was so off that I even tried my best and hardest to very calmly explain that I felt that the glitch may have tripped my payment info but they refused to hear any of it and told me my account is frozen until paid off and than I must wait several weeks after that before I am entitled to to use it again. So until than my CREDIT WILL BE DESTROYED BY AMEX TO THERE DESIRE BECAUSE OF THERE COMPUTER GLITCH AND ZERO ASSISTANCE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to figure out on my own how to after several days get back into my locked out account finally update the payment info and than pay the account off as quickly as possible. I will keep the account but under the (Freedom Act) I request a complete history print out of my payment info from Aerospace when I opened the account just here back in November 2023. Should you deny this request please let me know immediately. Please let me know as to exactly what day I may use credit card again officially. Thank you very much for any and assistance in this matter.
They were one of the first cards to give me a limit over $2,000 when I was rebuilding my credit which really shot my score up and qualified me for far better offers. Trouble is then you start taking offers and wind up like me with 25 cards and accounts plus a mortgage and thank Godess no car payment at the moment. But rewards are excellent for a mid range credit qualifying card. If you have a 600 or 590 try it they just might give it to you and improve your credit !
I really like the ease of use on the app and how SMOOTH the interface is. It’s everything in an app that I would have loved to see in my other major credit cards that I use. But I won’t be using this card now simply because of one thing that’s missing. Push notifications for purchases. Why is this not an option for such an advanced OS? I love being in the know in real time on purchase made with my card. Its how I’ve caught fraudulent charges on my other cards in the past and was able to stop it before it was too late. Needs to be added. Also another reason is cause the gas station precharged my CC 175 dollars for 9 bucks worth of gas. I know this is a pending charge. But it still affects my credit line in the meantime which I don’t like. This is not an issue with my other CC’s.
I was told to download this app in order to manage my card because I didn’t want to have to keep using a website. The Midas card is still not available on this app yet I was told this is where I should go to manage my card? Someone should update your AI responses or let your employees know that Midas isn’t supported in the app. This was just a waste of my time. I have all of my other cards in accessible apps, this is the only card I have that I have to make sure to set a reminder in my calendar to make my payments because there is no way to get notifications unless you sign up for paper billing, and that’s just not a thing I am trying to do. If they ever add Midas or send me a new message to apologize for their error, I’ll update this but as for now, this app is useless if you’re a Midas card holder.
Direct Deposit for Reward Redemption is Sloppy and Disconnected Customer Seri
Redeeming Rewards via Direct Deposit to a Checking Account is an absolute nightmare. Here is my experience: 1. Searched for a way to redeem via the app or online and it is impossible. You must call them. 2. Called them and was told there was a “glitch” and to call back later after 15 minutes on hold. 3. Called back later and was told to wait “24 hours” 4. Waited a week and called again and a Rep who could barely speak English abruptly took down my routing and checking account numbers with no verification of any kind and said. “It’s done” 5. After waiting a week and seeing no sign of any reward redemption activity on my account, I sent a message via the app. 6. After 72 hours with no response I followed up and a couple of days later was told. “We have no direct deposit information” 7. Called today and after going through 15 minutes of verification questions, was told. “We found your info and it will be posted this week by the 28th” 8. Asked for a confirmation number and was told. “we cannot give this out” Unbelievable and I truly hope they don’t lose my money
I was offered this card when I went to AAA for trip information. I was going in vacation to Texas and I used this card for all my hotel and gas purchases. I could check my balance daily and it was very easy to set up my bank information and pay my bill. I will use this card for most of my transactions. Thank you
I just downloaded this app and added my card. So far so good. But when I try to log into my account I get the “It’s not you it’s us” message others have reported. I’ve been getting this for several days. When I click on the app support, it takes me to Bread Financial’s website and there are no options for this app. Likewise, I’ve called the number the “developer” lists in other reviews for help. There are 2 options and neither are for app support. Picking either one (and hoping to get a human) gives me a recorded message and then the system hangs up. I’ll delete this app and continue using the website. As others have said - it’s 2024 - you can’t make an app that actually works?
This is 2024. Everything is done electronically instantly and automatically. But, this company wants to continue acting like it takes 1-2 billing cycles just to update any setup or change to your automated payments. It’s an obvious scam to hope you forget to pay or have to keep checking to see if your auto pay has kicked in yet. Most people will not remember to check, and be slapped with a late fee. There is no telling how many thousands of dollars this company makes just from this one scam alone. Totally unacceptable! After all, none of my other 11 credit card companies take 1-2 billing cycles to do this. After all, it’s 2024! Did I already say that??!
Today I got the new Bread Amex credit card, I was able to get activated it and setup online account so for it’s went good. While logins my account(App and website ) it’s showing up user id or password is incorrect. I tried to reset online but it says “”sorry we are unable send OTP by text or email “ with out OTP how it possible to get in to the online account??? After multiple attempts, made call to customer care people they suggest wait for one week for update my account. My bad is that works in current world we in 21st. Century.
I like it just as much as the Apple wallet app for Apple Credit Card. (Quite a bit) Bread Financial did a amazing job at fleshing out this app for credit cards, managing it, seeing rewards, and making payments. If you have a credit card that uses this app, I highly recommend you get this app to make it easier for managing your card!
Woot woot! This app is awesome, especially because my favorite card is their Amex Cashback product. Love being able to see everything in a clear view and able to track my rewards right away. Some really cool features they put into this app, and made it an easier way to access all the necessities I need for my card.
I’ve been a big fan of bread rewards for a couple years now, but I’ve always thought the website was hard to manage through A mobile phone. With the new mobile app, checking balances and making payments and also cashing rewards is super easy. Great work!
Other credit cards allow you to use your reward points in the actual transaction as you pay off the balance rather than waiting for the reward dollars to appear on your statement. Also, I should have a $100 credit bonus after spending over $1000 within a few months time after opening the account. So far this bonus has not appeared. Thank you.
Frankly, enjoyed the old Comenity App for its ease of use and easy layout. When I saw the update to go to the new Bread App this month, via a download from the App Store, I was less than happy. But, I love the new App! It’s got the same bones, but it’s newer and fresher. Super easy to navigate and very responsive. Like a bright shiny new car. Great job! 💛
This institution is predatory and has no respect for customers. I got a AAA credit card a few months ago and immediately enrolled in autopay. This bank takes 2 months to initiate automatic payments so that they can hit you with finance charges while you assume your balance is being paid regularly. Once I realized they stole $70 from me I called the customer support number and received the absolute worst support I've ever experienced. After multiple escalations there was (and still is) no resolution. They're rude, dishonest, and predatory. Customer beware.
Since switching to the new card I am always wasting about 30-40 minutes trying to sign in to either the wrong account or the website doesn’t work. Very poor infrastructure. And of course because of this I wind up paying my bill late which I thought I had already scheduled but probably on the wrong site. Annoying
Well organized efficient card and app, only suggestion need more generous credit lines for established customers and some lines for small businesses from $500k-$900k - especially for existing customers, otherwise great always recommend!
I am so pleased to have this easy to use app. I have been wanting for an app to this account for a long time. I never had a phone app with Comenity. That made it more difficult to keep track of this account. I am trilled! Y’all are now on my financial page. Thank you
i WAS happy to see that an app for my bread rewards account had finally came out, but i would soon to find out that with in the next day my hard was hacked into and also my information was stolen. not sure if it was a coincidence or what but feels like it’s starting to be a domino affect from downloading the app. also customer service is not the greatest and i have also been wait on an authorized user card for months. i have requested twice already and nothing is ever sent.
I tried paying my bill and was told to pay before 5pm EST, in which case, I might forget one day to pay and be charged extra as a result. Almost all other credit card companies allow you to pay as soon as you can. Also, if you would like your cash back rewards sent to your bank account, you have to call customer service instead of choosing the options through the app. Why??? Please fix.
Why can’t BreadRewards AMEX be like any other credit card company? If a payment is due on July 7th, then your customers should be allowed to make payment by 11:59p on July 7th. Why should your customers remember that payment should be posted by 5p on their due date; if not, then a late payment will be assessed. This just makes me to use your card less, especially when other companies have better rewards for purchases. Just so disappointed……
This app is about seeing activity and paying, if you have a problem there’s no way to communicate with a human or a chat bot in real time. A message submitted says 48 Hours to reply. What year is this? I really appreciate fraud detection, I truly do. Sending me an alert via the app is great - but then a dead-end. Yo have to navigate calling internationally in my case (from an airport). At bare minimum please plop a button in here that connects users to a human to provide real service.
For at least the past 5 days the app has not been working. When you tried opening it it just showed a blank white screen(and I had tried closing and re-opening the app). I have no access to my account information and being overseas this is extremely frustrating. There is no communication from the bank about this issue, so I am not even sure if it’s a systemwide failure or not.
Finally a banking app which is clean, modern, and easy to use! I love the way the app is organized, and I found it easy to find the information I needed. Overall, I am really happy with this app.
Clunky and glitchy. I haven’t been able to get in it for three days. My spouse got in once but then next day got same error message. I just can’t count on the app to feel comfortable using the card attached to this app so we decided to put most of our spending on another card which is a shame. Hope it improves some day.
I’ve had my AAA Visa through BoA and they sold the account to Comenity Bank in Oct. 2022 all this time I had to go into my email to access account to pay on line. Thank you for catching up with EVERY other financial institution
I’m still pending for the Ross credit card and Sally beauty credit card to be added to the link. Do you know how long it’s going to take. I would like to be about to have it for easier access and to view. Also to make payment.
Shows $0 due, yet I haven’t made the monthly payment and magically when I go to set up a payment (because I know things are due roughly mid-month) a due date finally appears in the calendar. Make it make sense. I thankfully set up my own reminder to check this account since the company fails to properly set their app with appropriate data - maybe they purposely do this to gain late fees?
It is very very difficult to find the login page on web browsers. I still cannot find it I had to down load it onto my I phone. Even on the I phone app it is still difficult to set account up. When you call you speak with a person that only speaks broken English. They fumble around trying to find the English words from their language.
The app looks great and is very clean. Really enjoy the user interface. The reason for the two stars is because there is not an option for purchase alerts. Hopefully this is fixed soon I saw this is a pretty common theme on the reviews, please listen to your customers and add this feature!
This app is surprisingly easy to navigate and it runs very smoothly. I was expecting it to be clunky like most other bank apps, and have been pleasantly surprised.
I haven’t been able to use this app for over a week now. Just keeps giving me a message saying “it’s not you it’s us. We’re experiencing a technical issue. Our team is team is working to resolve this as soon as possible. Please try again later. I understand that sometimes things go wrong but a week is a bit much.
App worked great for the first few months, easy to navigate all info clearly provided. But for the last week when the app is opened all I get is a white screen. No notice of any issue from the provider, glad the website still works to access my account.
Got approved with a $2800 credit line, had bought something for $20 with Apple Pay. Got my card in the mail all for it to be already closed. So you approved me sent me a card and then close my account. I’m extremely perplexed. Stay away from this card they will ruin your credit by opening and closing your account.
