I’ve played nearly every Kairosoft game since game dev story years ago and always come back to try the new ones. My favorites are game dev, Grand Prix story, cafeteria nipponica, pocket academy, and pocket league story. This game is setup very similar to them which in my opinion are the best of the series. It’s setup similar to cafeteria nipponica where there are so many options to discover and explore new recipes. Like that game, you’ll need to remember which combinations work and which don’t. It’s pretty easy to understand that a Patty and cheese go well together but once it gets more complicated you’ll need to write them down. Unfortunately since the game is new I haven’t been able to find a combo list online but I’m working on my own now. Game is very addictive and there aren’t any in-app purchases like some other games that were less fun than other Kairosoft games. Everything is unlocked when you buy the game and you’ll find yourself playing for hours
Like most Kairosoft games (I’ve played pretty much all of them) you will get drawn in with the upgrades, colorful design and progress built into their sims. It’s also got polish and all the favorite characters and such… but I might stay away from this Burger game though. It is actually one of my least favorite sims they have ever made. Most games you make some decisions, find combos as you watch the world go. This one you are bombarded with windows popping up, jumping between multiple shops constantly (and I’m not kidding, you are moving and clicking all the time), you are changing advertisements manually all the f’ing time, you have no time to manually deal with your workers, “training” them is a chore, as well as many other things you have to click through in the game and in the end when you cannot get certain food items, unlocking the later guests (golden ones) is extremely hard if not impossible. Overall, this game felt stressful in how much you have to interact with it. I hope Kairo goes back to its roots a bit more in the future.
For some reason, Kairosoft always knows how to keep me addicted to their games to the point I play them for hours on end. I don’t know whether it’s the cute art, the friendly characters, the multiple goals you can set for yourself, or just all of that combined. Regardless, I just can’t stop myself from getting the latest and greatest of their games. I’ve had this game for awhile and it’s my new favorite. Being my own boss and creating crazy different burgers and such, it’s addicting! If you love Kairosoft and you enjoy their games I promise this will be your new all time favorite.
I agree with one reviewer who said it is busy. Managing more than one store, upgrading your partnerships, making new recipes, remembering to train your employees, send your manager out to attract customers. I only recently found out that each separate store you own has different targets. Which actually helps you earn money faster. But since there is so much to this game, you really have to play for a while to really get everything. I am happy that Kairosoft is still making games and is trying different things.
I’ve been a Kairosoft fan for a while, my favorite being Bonbon Cakery, I like all the food development games. I didn’t hesitate to buy this when I saw it. Like the others, you launch a business, develop new recipes, sell, sell, sell and try to have the best eatery in the area. My only negative note is I find it difficult to build up enough “supporting currency” (hearts and burgers), they spend fast and don’t come as quickly as cash. Spend them wisely, and do not frivolously expend rare foods you come by In contests!
I’m addicted to playing theses and have been for some time now. It started off as a game to pass time but quite quickly became more addictive the further I progressed. I especially like the burger one as it doesn’t allow you to do more than your capable of in regards to realism when owning a franchise. Most allow you to buy with in game purchases. I found it yo be quite refreshing
The few criticisms I have of this is the level of micromanagement that goes into each restaurant. The UI isn’t a big help either, as there’s no sort button for staff or ingredients like in other Kairosoft games. There have been multiple times where to attract a customer I just have to get rid of one ingredient to get them to come in. I’d like to be able to edit recipes just for this feature. You have to rebuild locations just to renovate and change managers, and have to repurchase registers and kitchen placements after researching them again and again. It should be a one-and-done affair store by store. It’s frustrating to send out test cooks to restock items only to have them come back with everything but the ingredient you need. I’d rather pay the burger currency to restock ingredients manually. Take this review with some grain of salt (haha), as I’m about 3/4s the way finished with the game
I love the Kairosoft brand and their games so when I saw this game, I couldn’t help but to chip in my coins and immerse myself into this adorable fast food chain sim! It’s very easy but still challenging; which keeps players coming back! The interface/physics/game mechanics are amazing as well! Thank you Kairosoft for blessing us with yet another banger!!!
I’ve been playing Kairosoft games for years and I’m so happy they’re moving away from the free to play model in general. I sink hours into this game on a daily - it’s that fun. If you like management games in general and are a fan, just spend the $6 up front and thank God you don’t have to waste money on microtransactions for some entertainment.
This game has a good smattering of Cafeteria Nipponica (e.g. multiple stores), Sushi Spinnery (menu combos and some restaurant decorating), and "earning" the different types of patrons that are in many of the games. The menu is easier to navigate than some older games. There is no kind of p2p or advertising. Overall a great way to spend the weekend.
This game is so much fun.I love that you can manage all the restaurants and change the layout and really make it your own . This game is very well thought out and I enjoy taking charge of everything as well as making up my own recipes. If you enjoy game like that then this is the game for you.
I started playing Game Dev, then picked up Kingdom Dev, and now this one! These guys never seem to disappoint and have quite the selection of games! Once you get past the long and driven intro, this games develops into something I have spent a lot of time enjoying! ITS JUST SO INTRICATE! In the best possible way! Thanks again for another AMAZING game!!!
Kairosoft has been around since the beginning. They are the only developer who gives a full game experience anymore for a small price. They dont stuff ads in your face even on their free games. The most underrated developer on the market!
Looked forward to this to be released in English. Big fan of Kairosoft and I’ve practically played all the games. This one is a little different compared to the other games but it still has that classic Kairosoft quality.
The latest addition into the restaurant themed sims, this one takes on Fast Food. Mechanically I think it’s my favorite of the bunch so far, a lot of nice little touches here and there keep the game fresh. Highly recommended
If you've played a (paid) Kairosoft game, you know the quality you're gonna find here. Finding combos that work and leveling up your facilities and the joy of discovering what happens when you combine two things. Love it.
Love Kairosoft games, and this one's great for foodies. You can make tons of combinations of burgers and side dishes/drinks/desserts. Lacks some of the QOL of other games (like autosave). I really like the progression so far of owning multiple stores and unlocking new ingredients.
I’ve played this game probably more than any other Kairosoft game. It’s so much fun. I like their other cooking ones, but this one is by far the best they’ve EVER made. I hope you make more like this!!
So happy they released a buy-it-once game again instead of a freemium one. If you’re a fan of Kairosoft games, you’ll definitely enjoy this one. Hard to put down.

It said it was only $5.99 but charged me $7.98. It’s fine though, just a couple dollars. I saw one of their apps in the Apple Arcade and I was hooked. Hopefully this one would do the same.
I’m familiar with the kairosoft formula by now, but I’m happy to see a bit of complexity to this one and feel like the game doesn’t just give you the cash you earn. Keeps me coming back!
I have all of the Kairosoft games available for iOS. I stalk the App Store for new releases. I even own one in Japanese that I can’t read, but have figured out the basics. This new Burger game is a refreshing new take on Cafeteria Nippon and the Ramen game — love it!
Everything you can ask for in a restaurant game! Exciting new levels and the ability to create new dishes is just amazing!! I can’t put this game down!!
I like it a lot, my only real problem is that the audio randomly stops working. No music, no sound effects. It’s all gone and no matter what I do it won’t come back.
I’ve spent entirely too much time playing this game. There are a lot of windows to navigate but it doesn’t stop the game from being highly entertaining.
I literally search “Kairosoft” every month or so to see if they have any bee games — best pixel time management games on the market. #OBSSESSED plus getting that thick cheese is such a bonus for writing a review lol
I’m a big fan of this gaming company. I still play their other game Pocket Stables on my phone and Switch and they’ve made another great game with this one. I highly recommend it!

Good solid Kairosoft style game. The food choices can be quite varied and atypical to American fans. That being said, the game mechanics are solid Kairosoft style, and fun. The mini game for training is entertaining too. Good game!
this game is super addictive, and I can’t stop playing it, especially love mixing different ingredients to create new recipe! However, the game system lack flexibility in terms of customizing the players gender and name.
