I’ve used several banking apps in the past and this one is by far my favorite. It is incredibly fast and responsive making it ideal for quick transfers or just checking your balance. I like that it has a biometric login feature and 4 digit pin function. One thing that I do wish could be improved upon is the speed at which my transactions reflect on my account. Some transactions show up immediately whereas some take a few days which can sometimes be misleading as to how much I actually have in my account. I normally keep a separate log of my transactions to keep up with my balance so this isn’t a major concern for me but I’m sure some would find this annoying. Overall though I think most people would appreciate this app.
It has what’s important in a banking app - it always works
What I expect from a banking app is for it to be reliable, bug free and have all the features I would need to not have to go into the bank on their terrible hours. And this app has all of these things. I’m still quite impressed at the amount of features the app offers, with almost complete parity with their online platform. I’ve been using it for years and I can maybe think of a couple of times where the app didn’t work correctly, which is saying a lot given that just about every app on my phone has had many times where this has been the case. Get it for the convenience but love it for the reliability.
Awesome and Convenient! I use quite often! There is a small fee to cash out to get it the same day depending on the amount. If you’re paying someone for merchandise, owe someone, Business etc. ...make sure to send an extra $1 or $2 to cover the small fee. I like that it keeps track of every payment you make/receive and you can put your reason for sending, just like a bank statement/email. It notifies you when you receive/cash app someone (email) which makes it safe to use. If you don’t have a bank account or don’t want to use your bank account the cash app provides a cash card for you. I definitely recommend!! 👍
Quick Hassle Free Loans and great customer service
I have been a member of this bank for over 23 years now. I live out of state and I’ll never change my bank. I recently needed an auto loan, and I went through the bank. Within one day I was approved and in my car. The customer service at any location is unmatched. The specific agent I worked with is Tandria Williams. She is in the loan department. Amazing turn around time, service, attitude! This woman deserves a gold medal!!! Thanks to y’all I am all set with no headache and extra stress. They advocate for their people! That is all we can really ask, but they do it above and beyond!!!
I like this app, however it could be improved upon. Once a payment is made either internally or externally it should reflect immediately with the status pending indicated. Waiting as long as 24 hours to posts the information online presents a problem. It’s kind of like checking your balance when you have written a check to a merchant … your actual balance may not show for a few days or more. In the past, and even now that cannot necessarily be helped, but there is no reason whatsoever that the software cannot post online transactions instantly. It’s simply a matter of adequate programming.
I have process three loans and needed help with a couple of items. Every contact with the staff was an excellent experience. They are professional and yet fun to deal with. I received information regarding the loans or received the information I was inquiring about quickly and information and advice was spot on. I am enjoying the app and the lady who assisted me with set up was easy to follow and patient. It is easy to use and sure saves time. Thanks for renewing my faith in customer service and support.
i had the most difficult time adjusting to this App… I am used to glancing at my balance… and knowing where I stand quickly. I really liked the employee I worked with when I first opened this account.. also.. the employees on phone explained how i needed the other app for card control. Im thankful you all watched my account but because its holiday time and I have many family members etc I was shopping often at first. I would glance at the app and think i was fine but because it wasn’t reflecting my transactions it was very confusing… I’ve been with Suntrust 30 years and never had this problem. (Just the other typical ridiculous charges over .07 cents. etc..) I was told you all we're working on a solution. thats good to know! Thanks
I feel fortunate that Campus USA actually offers an online banking app because some banks don’t. I’m also glad they updated their design but it does have some flaws. It is hard to find your pending transactions since this app only displays posted, which is why I have the Campus USA Card Control app to monitor those. It would also be nice to see a quick glance at your balance rather than having to sign in to your app and wait for it to load. If Campus were to combine the Campus CardControl and Campus USA app it would make the experience a lot better. The app developers should make the interface smoother when it comes to animations. Love this credit union. We had an account at Capital City in North Florida and they were horrible at nearly every turn! I tried to ask for help, work with them to fix things and they just wouldn’t help. Being a new account they declined EVERY purchase I made. The phone company threatened to turn my phone off, they sent things back that I’d ordered. It was a nightmare. Campus has always been wonderful!! I don’t know why we thought we needed another. Campus is amazing!
Outdated and illogical interface. On any menu, there’s a big blue “cancel” button ON TOP of the “save/continue” button, so the tendency is to click the cancel button, deleting all progress in one click. Both buttons look exactly the same, and the text is small. The cancel button should be red, and underneath the save button. - the keypad is inconsistent; half the time you’re using the numeric keypad, the other half, you have to type the numbers from the horizontal number row on the regular keyboard. Just sloppy design. Software doesn’t work well either, I’ve changed my phone number numerous times but it still sends verification codes to my old number. The overall layout and interface is 1/10 garbage
Mostly good service but was very hurt when Campus declined to finance my new car - which I had NOt been in the market for until my Jeeps motherboard fried while at Lurray Jeep for a repair. Offline I was told they still didnt know what was wrong. It was our only transportation. I was very shocked and hurt. Even With my long history I was denied. I was deeply Hurt and angry because Campus could have helped me a great deal but by making a very hard moment just a bit easier on me and my 78 yr disabled husband but Campus chose not to do so.
I’ve waited and waited hoping that Campus would update the program to allow us access to see pending transactions. It’s yet to happen. I login multiple times a day and have alerts set yet still have to manage paper receipts for days and sometimes even a week or longer to make sure the completed summary matches and can balance. Please work on getting a “vault” for us to view that’s similar to the credit card pending summary so I can do away with some of these unnecessary papers in my wallet.
Near constant maintenance and various forms of online banking often unavailable at those times. It’s not professional. Also, I’m only supposed to have to renew for touch login once per year but I’ve had to do it far more often than that since downloading this app. Several times a year. You guys need better IT professionals. Randomly, myself and other family members are unable to login for no reason given at all. This has happened less and less but it still does happen and nobody should ever not be able to access their account without any advanced notice.
I’ve banked with you guys for years and years now and I’m still hopeful that maybe one day you guys will put a pending so people have a better way to see our transaction history instead of keeping a log of everything cause like most people I have recurring payments that I forget about and the dates they come out instead of seeing it post days or week after the fact.
Works 99% of the time. Has never failed me when I needed it. Can do my depositing... transfers and anything else I need. The only thing I don’t like is the change in the bill pay. Can’t find everything I need. I think they tried to make it easier to see everything in one place, but for me, it was not successful. Sometimes when they try to make the app better it just doesn’t work.
When I moved to Florida I wanted to belong to a credit union. I found Campus USA and have not regretted joining. They have always been right there when I needed a hand from my checking/saving account to my auto loan. There has never been a time when I had a question that was not answered and always everyone has been so personable and professional. I believe every employee that I have spoken to gives over 100 % to their job and I am very pleased.
I like I can see all my accounts and their entire numbers. It doesn’t help when I am trying to get the account numbers and away from home. I can do all of the transactions necessary from the app except for the loan process requires going outside the app to provide and sign documents. I really like it! Campus has been extremely easy to bank with. I’ve been able to apply for loans through the app and when I go into the branch offices, everyone is super nice and super knowledgeable and super capable of doing just about anything I need whether it be retirement investments to opening money market accounts for savings to joint accounts for children to explaining fees which there are very few of.
Love that I can keep my account even though I live in the Panhandle. We conduct all of our banking business through the app or online, including depositing checks, which is incredibly easy and beneficial. We would much rather do our banking online versus having to drive to a physical location. The face identification feature makes my life so much easier.
I quickly and accurately monitor all of the automated deposits and payments of my accounts using the Campus USA Mobile App! I moved away from this bank years ago for a job relocation, but chose to stay a member because of the high quality of the people. The Mobile App solves 95% of my needs to walk in the doors for almost any request. I highly recommend this app.
This app allows mobile banking to be easier and faster than before. You can transfer money to separate accounts and even pay for items in a separate checking. This app has made banking a lot easier for not just me, but my entire family. Thank you Campus U.S.A for making banking even easier.
The Campus USA Mobile App has everything you need at your fingertips! You can check your account balances, pay your monthly bills through Bill Pay as well as transfer money to anyone using Zelle. And all your personal information remains confidential. What I like most is I can navigate easily within the app to accomplish all my banking needs!
I have been with campus for many years and since they released their app, banking has been easier than ever. I do not live near a campus branch, but I can do just about everything I need to do with the app. It truly makes my life so much more simple. I pay bills, cash checks, check my accounts and so much more. I love it.
Excellent Service by phone and In Person. Cashier always friendly & happy to help me. Calls to Campus for help each person sounds eager to help me with my reset of service payment verification, transfers between my accounts. Love everything. But I don’t understand why I have to go to a separate page to check my Visa card transactions. On the home page I can go into my checking, savings, Xmas club and CD and view all transactions. I would like to do that with my Visa card. But the way it is set up is so many more steps. I have to back out to the menu, go into cards, etc., etc.,etc. Not pleased with this cumbersome procedure.
This is a great banking app keeps me informed of everything when my balance gets below my stated amount. I wish it would send me text messages when money is taken out like my other bank used to do or money put in. I would recommend this app for anyone with this bank account.
Your app does not allow to transfer money to a loan that’s being held at campus for another member. Six months ago or less, I was able to transfer money to another member‘s loan. You’re app changed and now I am unable to process any loan payment. We have to transfer men to number and then the member has to transfer to the loan. That is inconvenient and not user-friendly. This app needs to be updated to allow those type of transfers.
I’ve been with Campus USA from age 17 to now and I’m almost 22. The app is great and easy to navigate around. I’ve had issues with my card number being stolen twice and I got the money back within 1-2 days which is really nice. I also love my bank! I live pretty close and it’s really nice inside. I always feel right at home and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Love being able to have access to my bank account on the go with just a few taps! Easy to transfer money, see withdrawals and deposits and just overall access to my finances! Wish the check deposit worked a bit better.
I would just like to start out with giving Jonesville Newberry Rd location a 5 star rating just because of how attentive and dedicated their staff is to making sure customers get exactly what they need with a smile on their face(personal shoutout to Mrs. Debbie). Thanks to them my credit score is gradually getting higher😇. Anyways back to the app, I love it! Super easy to navigate and simple to use.
App is very inconvenient and not conducive to conduct business. The bill pay portion takes you to a different screen so you have to open 2 widows if you want to compare bank account transactions to bill pay transactions. From the home screen, you should be able to see account balance and pending bill pay transactions as well as access tools like calculator.
This app works beautifully when one is on the run. The only setbacks are a delay that sometimes occurs updating the information from one’s accounts to the dashboard and occasional bugs updating deleted income and bills from the dashboard. These resolve within the hour soots not serious. Campus dashboard cash flow is hands down the best cash flow tracking system I’ve experienced and it’s absolutely wonderful that one can get it in the app. Bravo!
The Campus app was first used for mobile deposit of checks during Covid. It has helped avoid expensive trips to deposit checks that can be done from any location. The user interface is simple and direct without annoying pop up promotions. So far so good!
The Campus USA Credit Union app is Terrific!!! I love that it works ALL of the time; contains your user name and password if setup properly and looks different than other apps so I recognize it immediately on my IPhone’s apps icons. Easy banking while traveling; like having my bank with me wherever I go. Thanks Campus for making my busy life a little less busy!!!!
It’s an ok app. It’s not as user friendly as apps I’ve used with other shared branch credit unions. It also doesn’t keep current. It can take hours or even a day for an ATM transaction to show. It should be instant. I’ve never had this much lag for showing transactions. And since they were also shared branch credit unions I know the system is capable- this app just doesn’t deliver. We’re actually considering changing credit unions because of it. The best feature I’ve found is the transferring between two members.
I was stunned when I tried to get a personal consolation loan in the spring, and was turned away. I knew that my credit score had gone down due to some hospital bills. But having been a depositor for about 10 years, I expected better treatment. In that period I had successfully paid off 3 or 4 car loans , and 2 personal loans without any issues. Cutting me some slack would have been appreciated.
Campus app is easy it’s reliable, but trustworthy when you want to know exact expenses of your checking or saving account. They do charge you eight dollars to transfer from your savings to your checking so you don’t overdraft but other than that I would highly recommend it.
I was trying to use zelle and when downloading zelle and linking my account, zelle says that campus USA credit union offers zelle within the app. There is no way to access this feature. If this is on zelle and not the cusa app, then zelle should be a feature with the app. Almost all banking apps use zelle. Also, navigating through the app just feels awkward. It feels like a website formatted on the phone rather than an app designed for the phone. But, the app does allow you to transfer money, make payments, and deposit checks.
We have had nothing but positive experiences with Campus. My children are also a part of the Campus family and they have been very pleased with the experiences they have also had. We have had fraud, hacking, account theft, and with Campus the end result have always been positive. Thank you Campus.
Do Ok job but don't care for all the rules they either have to follow or care to create to make it harder to control accounts Account has our names on it but also in a trust. Can not make deposits without trust name on it. Don’t believe that is required because I can do it at different CU
The app works very well most of the time but lately it seems to lag a bit updating deposit totals on the home page. I deposited a company check several days ago and it is still not listed in my home page as part of my total savings. Also what happened to the chat feature? Thanks, L. J. Wallace
I find the Campus Credit union mobile app so easy to use. It allows me to take the bank with me wherever I go whether it be for a quick balance check or a transfer or many other opportunities that they provide. It is secure and very customer friendly.
It is easy to use and navigate although with the latest update (or something) the credit card view from the front page no longer seems to be working as expected for me. It tries to take me to the browser and prompts me to download something.
I made cc payments and they went through on those credit card websites, but my balance for campus USA didn’t list them under the activity list. Nor is there a pending list. So I’m looking at it wondering why it’s not showing anything about my two cc payments, while transferring funds (that I will no longer have when I look later on in the week) this creating confusion, bad payments on my behalf, and unhappy customers. All while campus USA charges me insufficient funds fee... so I’m curious to see if I even get a response from this issue.
I love all the help and the people that are in there they make it enjoyable to come in their personable and make you feel like you’re at home and wanted. They’ve always been able to answer my questions help me out on anything I need pertaining to my bank accounts and loans.
I love the app. Whether depositing or transferring funds it's easy to use. I only had one issue with mobile deposit, it couldn't tell I had all the required words on the back so I did have to go into the credit union make that deposit. Other than that one thing, yay love it. Deb Tinsley
This app makes it super easy to move money around among and between my accounts. I pay my credit card and car payment with a couple of clicks. And using touch id (on iPhone) to log in is a dream. Every iteration of the app has produced improvements. I prefer using this app on my phone over my computer any day.

I’ve used several financial institution apps. This one needs the most help. Small font because of very busy screens is a major problem. Not being able to look at details of my credit card from the main screen is another big problem. Difficulty in making credit card payments is another problem.
