I give this app a 2. the old app showed the amount I had left on my credit card and now it shows the amount I owe so that makes it confusing for me. Also, the old app for Spokane credit union would literally update automatically and subtract or show my recent purchases and this app is very slow.. takes a couple of days to take the money out of my account so what is the point of having an app, might as well go back to writing down every purchase in a booklet to keep track of my money. Also what’s up with the depositing checks? Used to be able to do that on the old app and now I can’t? I have to go to the bank to do that?? Guess I’m not the one for change but I loved the function of my old app for Spokane federal credit union, it was perfect and this one is far from it.
Love the mobile app, it’s very intuitive. Better than my old credit union! Customer service is top notch and this local non-profit leadership is deeply rooted in the Spokane community. Love that. Stay local!
Canopy has really been helpful as an entry level point for starting My whole life over. Not having any prior experience with financial institutions and, extremely bad experiences with Lawyers, I initially assumed that banks - Credit Unions - and Lawyers were the same thing with different names…. Canopy is proving My assumption wrong. And, I Thank Them For It ~ PKS ~~~
The Secure messaging feature on this app doesn’t work. I’ll type out a message and try to send it and get told it’s experiencing troubles?! What’s the point?? Also the process to get your routing number which is through the secure messaging feature makes zero sense. I’ve also been asking since I joined back in 2019 when Apple Pay would become available and get told the same thing every time. “Soon” what a joke this isn’t the 90’s keep up with the times or get out of the game. Had nothing but problems since joining this credit union and I think I would be better off at chase or any other bank. Credit unions are forgetting that the community itself is why they exist.
