Review Update Dec 2017 They fixed login, very quick and easy now! Resolved 1 and 2 below. Great, thank you ———————————————————————- 1) iphone iOS 8 and ipad iOS 10, cannot remember either device, so have to go through security questions and all entries each use. 2) Often have to delete and reinstall each time it’s used to get it to work 3) Lacks ability to create template or do free form wire, though can approve or initiate from existing template. Occasionally helps in a pinch, but lacks convenience due to above issues.
If my company didn’t require me to use this app to deposit their checks, I would delete this app so fast! Any time the phone updates, it locks me out and makes me change my password. Makes me change my password every 30 days. Like someone is going to hack my phone and deposit a check into someone else account 🤦♂️… Every single check I scan is so frustrating because it “Move closer” “scan the whole check” “did Not recognize “ “you scanned this check twice, do it ALL OVER AGAIN “.
Why does your app not recognize the BACK OF A CHECK?
I have to cover the routing and account information on the back with MY THUMB in order to deposit a check, otherwise it tells me it has to images of the front of the check….when you tell them that in the app, CRICKETS!!! Thank goodness this dumpster fire of an app has a “fresh new look”….most business users don’t care how it looks anywhere near as much as how well it works. Make it work properly FIRST…then make it pretty
Wonderful time saving app… when it works… sometimes the camera won’t focus, I have a iPhone 11, sometimes it’s great but 1 out a five I have to still go to the bank for a simple deposit because the camera refuses to focus, you can feel the lens chattering as it tries to focus, you can even see it momentarily does focus then goes back to a fuzzy picture and I really don’t have the time an can’t be bothered to keep trying.
Beyond excited to have a Mobile Token! Such a convenience to replace the outdated physical one and no longer need to remember to carry around when working remote! …and to have it on my Apple Watch! Highly recommend this app!
Take a note from Wells Fargo they have zero issues with their mobile check deposit scanners. Every day Monday through Friday I attempt to deposit 3 to 4 checks every day and there is an issue with every single one of them saying that I am scanning both the front of the check and I need to flip it over. Get your app FIXED because this is extremely frustrating YOU WILL START LOSING CUSTOMERS IF YOU DON’T GET WITH THE PROGRAM. SMDH
Truly as bad as it can get. Virtually nothing in this app works, ever. That’s not an exaggeration. -the login process is a nightmare. The credentials that work on the desktop version are sometimes different than the mobile version. If you use the QR login on your mobile to log into desktop, it logs you out of mobile simultaneously. -the mobile token process is absolutely impossible to set up. You’ll need to get a physical (like mailed to you) token in order to move money. -the app locks users out for too many attempts, but it’s impossible to unlock a user, even as an admin. I’m sure there is technically a way, if six people and your dog push a button the exact same time or something, but there is no practical way. -when you reach out to support for help via the embedded chat, the chat kicks an error about 2 minutes in, even mid conversation. So getting actual help is impossible. It just says “chat error”. Naturally, the next agent has no context from the previous transcript because why bother. -the notification section is quick to give pressing updates such as “we changed our name from cashpro to cashpro plus”, but doesn’t notify users when something important happens - say, requesting wire approval, or anything a customer might actually care about. It’s so poorly thought out at every single step, with no regard to user experience. We’re moving our corporate account out of Bank of America in large part of this application. Everybody at our company hates it.
The convenience this app affords our company is remarkable. Now that they are beginning to include the Apple Watch we are beyond excited! I rarely use my laptop these days. I am able to process almost anything including work related tasks on my IPad or IPhone and now am able to use token from my watch. The Webinar today was very informative showing they have added many CashPro processes to mobile and will be adding additional thru the quarters of this year and on in to 2020.
This app is so buggy and not thought out well. To log in you need a mobile token. The mobile token is only available through the same app so you have to exit out and go back into the front page, get a token and hope you can make it back in time. If you change your phone the app becomes non-usable. The mobile token crashes the app. Only way to fix is to delete and reload the app which is a whole new bucket is authentication problems. I cannot state how badly thought or this app is. developers, just use a proper industry standard secure mobile token app like Authy, google, RSA, anything instead of trying to build your in-house solution that doesn't work.
The app is easy to navigate and makes my life so much easier. I travel for work often and this app allows me the ability to have immediate access to information, ability to approve payments and so much more at the touch of a few keys. Most importantly the mobile tokens ensures I don’t have to travel with additional plastic in my purse. I wish all of our banking partners offered an online app like this.
Cash Pro has been nothing short of a headache since we migrated from Business Analysis. Tokens do not Work. No transaction data in the app. No positive pay for ACH. There is no point to this app. Unless you need a way to remember all your security questions. Because it makes you answer them. Every. Single. Time. Bank of America you are a GIANT corporation. How is it your banking app is worse than my local credit unions?
The app never remembers the correct credentials. The add an additional check to deposit is a tiny little plus sign that could be improved upon. Takes me three questions to log-in.... every single time.
The exception reporting does not sync up. I am notified we have exceptions. I go in the app and nothing. A lot of times it is not working. I have tried to deposit checks and it is not working. Viewing of exceptions is very difficult. Chase’s app is way better. Our rep told us BOA invested millions into technology. I have to ask, where?
Love the app but the Apple watch companion app gets stuck on validating pin, rendering OTPs useless. The only "fix" is to have the cashpro app opened on your mobile then logging in. It defeats the purpose of doing it on your wrist.
I don’t know how many “mandatory” updates you can do that actually make the app worse, but BofA is trying hard to find out. The app barely functions, never works right, and can’t even tell you the balance in your accounts half the time. Pointless app.
It just keeps sending me back to the login screen whenever I login with my pin. Won’t work even if I redownlod the app. Defeats the whole purpose of using mobile.
Bad app from an equal quality institution. Would like to charge them for my time that is wasted with there app and web portal. makes me pine for the days of standing in line at the bank.
Since upgrading to iOS 14 I can’t use the Mobile Token with Face ID any longer. It crashes every time. Have to uninstall app then reinstall AND activate a new token. Then make sure and never flick the Face ID button! BofA you need to fix this!
All I can do is login in my account. The app does not ever remember the security questions, I have to enter them each time. Once I am in my account, I can only manage users?! It's just a ridiculous app.
Good App, but remembering credentials is no included
I have the worlds most complex user name and company ID. Why can't we use fingerprint ID to login? Or at a minimum have App store user name and company ID.
By far the worst app I’ve ever had to use. Logging in requires 4 pieces of information, including a token from an equally horrible MFA app they produce because they can’t use anything standard.
Got hounded with emails about moving from separate token app. Update app, go through process, go to authorize token and it’s not in the app! Completely ridiculous!
