Cats are Cute

I found this game a little recently, about a week ago I think. I absolutely love it! The cats are cute, and I’m very fond of the name of this app and definitely agree with it. It’s a great game to play when you’re bored, or just want to play a cute little game. I like to just mindlessly tap in the forest area to level up and gain ❤️’s & 🐟!!! Overall, it’s pretty amazing. However there are some things that I would change about the game that aren’t too major but would help a lot. Starting with having a less amount of time to wait for the “meow”. When you can collect lots of the currency by tapping the screen while being timed. Personally I think I’d like to have the timer in between it be about 5-10minutes instead. Maybe some more cat breeds as well. And other activities with or without the cats, like exploring the forest or being able to find things in the tree like branches, items, and/or fish or hearts. That’s all for now that I can think of, but please take some of these into consideration. Thank you! 👀💕

This game has a wonderful start, it is ridiculously cute and fun to play. If you like cats, it is so sweet that it will make you feel better just from playing it. However, it really needs an update to add more depth. There are very few things for you to do each day, and you can knock those out in about 10 minutes. After a couple weeks of that, you have nothing else to do except collect achievements, most of which you’ll max out in a month or two, the rest of which are completely unattainable because the thresholds are set way to high, or the game hasn’t expanded to make them possible yet. Yes, you could spend the next year dutifully leveling up your cats and buildings, but all that does is give you more money (fish) so you can continue leveling up your cats and buildings. Still, it’s really fun to play even when you have nothing left to do, becauae the cats and their little friends running around town are ridiculously cute and fun to watch. It’s relaxing, and the only ads you have to deal with are the ones you choose to watch. One tiny detail that does need to be fixed immediately is the maximum fish that Normal buildings can hold. Normal buildings fill up after about 8 hours no matter how much you upgrade them, but Rare and Epic buildings take 10+ hours. End result, unless you check in and collect more than is really viable for a game like this, you’re losing a big chunk of your daily production.

So, I have only had this game for a week or two, but I’m already getting bored but I do think that this game is extremely fun to start off because you get to arrange the homes, unlock new cats, and explore the hidden pets, but I have realized that by now the max keeps stopping me from getting more cats when I have over 100,000 fish (money) but can’t buy any cats because my max... as I said before I’ve only played this game for around 2 weeks, but I’ve already been having to spam the ground until I lvl up, then to unlock a cat and do it all over again. Adding the mating ability would get you a five-star-rating, and that is kind of the only reason I keep the game, well, that and the fact I want to upgrade all my cat’s skills, once I do those things I’m really hoping the new update will be out, or I’ll just have to wait longer for it... ( I also do know that some people have issues getting the toys, and I found a way that I could help with that, 1: upgrade your houses so they have 1,000 or more fish storage. 2: make sure you have around 40,000 fish. 3: make sure you have as many cats as your level. 4: go to the shop and buy the 6,000 fish cat. 5: do it until you’re all out of fish. 6: once you’ve done this, you should’ve met your own cats, and they should’ve given you toys. 7: There is no 7, just take your toys and spend them!)

I really enjoy this app a lot! It’s a good stress relief and isn’t too hard to level up on for the most part, but still allows a bit of challenge to keep you interested. Can be a bit hard to get new cats later into the game though. I love the animation and the different mini games they have on here. My only complaints are that when trying to collect hearts or try to teach my cat a new skill, it does not always recognize the touch and I end up getting half the hearts I should be getting which is frustrating. It’s a new issue i think too bc I never had this problem when I first downloaded the game. Usually when it’s ‘meow time’ I can get 140+ hearts but now it only recognizes around 90. It could also use a few more features and phrases to make the game less repetitive and to keep your interest for more than a few weeks. I also wish the rewards for goals were a bit more grass than they give you. Another thing is that I really wish there was audio settings so I could listen to my own music at the same time as playing this without the backtrack blasting over it the whole time. I love all the characters and their friends they have wandering around the town. They’ve got some ‘tudes and all do different actions that are sure to make you laugh. Everything about this game is in fact super cute. Fix these small things and it’ll be a 5 star app easily! Would highly recommend!

Just like the name of the game! The cats in this game are really cute :D Okay, let’s get into actual criticism. Personally I love this game but there are some not so great things about it. First, the game isn’t that diverse and the backgrounds are boring. It is also very easy to stop playing due to the fact that it gets harder and harder to get cats the further into the game you go. Pets are hard to get due to hidden missions and once you collect all cats (like I have) there is no special prize. This game will probably get better with the mating update though, so don’t give up on it yet! Here are some tips to get the last cats of you are struggling. Once you collect all normal cats and most of the rare, it is really hard to get the rest of the rare and epic cats. The cost is a lot, leveling up is expensive, and it feels like you will never get the cats. Tip number one: collect cat grass. How? Decorations for buildings, challenges, missions, leveling up by tapping, and skill updates for cats. But... if you have lots of fish to spare, keep on doing the normal draw for cats (even if you have all of the normal cats) until you reach the event draw milestone. It is expensive, but it is much harder to get 1,200 cat grass or 600 cat grass for premium draw. Well.. I don’t have many tips. You should search more tips up online! :D

I’m loving this game! And I nearly never write reviews! It’s truly calming and helpful with regulation because of how simple it is. My main critique is that there is no motivation to do well in any of the cat mini games. It seems to me that you get the same amount of hearts regardless of if you, say, win or lose at rock, paper, scissors. Why am I spending a minute searching for a cat in the forest if I’m going to get the same number of hearts either way? There also appears to be no actual reason to unlock friends or decorate locations. It’d be nice if these things positively affected the amount of hearts, grass, or fish. I do also have a few humble requests/suggestions: (1) More mini games with the cats added over time, i’m worried the current ones will get boring to me soon. (2) Have the daily to-dos change each day (maybe randomly cycle through a premade amount) to keep things interesting, and (3) an arrow button to click through all the cat/house menus in order, rather than having to close the menu and select a new icon. I’ve been looking for a game that would click with me. I think this might be it! Thank you for making this!

okay so this game is super addicting.. i don't like getting myself hooked to app games like this, especially when i'm so busy, but gah!! i cant lol. i love this so much!! it's so much fun and makes me so happy to see all the kitties c: i RLY hope they come out with the breeding feature soon, that'd be super awesome. n i want more new kitties. i've had this game for less than half a day and i've literally gotten like 23 cats within that timespan. (it was a bad idea, i need to be studying.. i'm gonna calm down on this lol) but yea, just goes to show how fun this game is! also toys r kinda hard to come by, so maybe adding an option to buy them in the store (with in-game fish/grass) would be cool? i get that the point is to make them difficult to obtain, but like, u could make them cost a bunch in the store maybe? just so there's another option for getting them rather than having to level up and hope that you don't get a new cat when u go to catch one. anyways, thx!! for the developers, gj on this game and keep up the great work! for the ppl wondering if they should get this game or not, at least give it a try!! :)

I found this game on the App Store and instantly thought my girlfriend would love it. I showed it to her and she fell in love, playing it endlessly for almost a week, until she was about level 60. I'm now level 110 and still love getting new titles from my kitties. She has slowly declined her dedication to the game, but I try to play at least once a day. This game is amazing and we love to still play together at times to enjoy the never ending positivity flowing through these happy little cats! Their cute and unique personalities define these plain yet colorful characters that wander aimlessly in their little cat town. My only wishes for this game are more cats of course, all with their own colorful little homes! Titles should also be changeable, because I like some of the earlier titles (no offense, they're all amazing). Being able to pick up all of my current buildings to rearrange them would also be nice. But, you are amazing for all you've done so far! We love this game and we support all future updates for this game! Love and support!!

Okay, this game is super addictive, it's only been one day since I got this and I think I can't stop, I will put down my phone for about 30 minutes then have to get back on to check, AND I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH, Its definitely worth downloading so I encourage it highlyyyyyy, But like every other game it has downsides. For example, after a while you start to think about the point of the game, the game has 40 cats, which may seem like alot, but with 200 possible levels And 200 possible room for cats, I think that in every update they should upgrade out possible amount of land and cats. At the rate of cats I've gotten so far I will be done with this game in a span of 40 days😟. It's summer and I could probably get it done sooner. I'm really excited for the mating update though. PLEASE ADD MORE CATS AND MORE POSSIBLE ACTIVITYS, I don't know if it's possible to fish but,,,,, you should make that possible I feel like it would be really cool to fish for the fish coins stuff, not considering the fixable things I LOVE THIS GAME THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS INTO MY LIFE, Its definitely worth downloading

I found this app by looking up cat games! sometimes I play on my freetime, mostly I play like,, *ALL THE TIME* ❤️❤️❤️I’m personally a *purrfect* cat lover, & cat owner but, ya! Usually I wouldn’t write reviews because, I just didn’t feel like it, but I really *WANTED* to write one!! 🤭🤭 this is coming from a *cat lover* but I like all animals I just think *felines* are the most *purrfect* animals! This game is *purrfect* for people who get bored easily, which I can relate to, and paws(plus) this game only has ads unless you choose to have one! Which is so catacular, I’m usually very *catty* when annoying ads come up and I’m sure other kittes (hoomans) are too!! I just feel cats are ur secret weapon for… Sadness??? Or Depression because when my cat purrs, licks/grooms me, it makes me feel *pawsome* so I think this would be a good game for other *pawsome* cat lovers for, who cannot get a cat, which at *somepaw* (some point) I was at. This is the kind of game you play when bored or anxious or sad and want to cheer up, or at least distract yourself. You slowly build a cat community with lots of features, different personalities and buildings, etc. It’s basically making your own peaceful little cat town. It’s simple and minimalistic, with no excessive graphics or soundtrack, yet incredibly effective. This is one of my favorite games. I really hope the developer never takes it down or makes it pay-to-play, because it really is a great stress-relief. At least for me. Everyone has different expectations and wants (similar to the cats in the game lol) so I don’t speak for everybody when I say it’s useful. But man, is this game fun! Makes me sound like a walking advertisement, but you will really have to try it out yourself to see if it fits your needs of a cute cat game you can lose yourself in. I enjoy helping and “mothering” people, and that’s what this game is about, or at least that’s how I interpreted it.

I first got this game mainly because the name was funny and unique- and then I got a little obsessed. The simplicity of the game made it easy and enjoyable, and the cats were cute and fun, causing me to play as long as forty minutes a day. It started out a little slow but as soon as I got enough fish (which is the currency used to by better buildings and more cats) I could easily do anything I wanted to do in the game. Which brings me to my one, but significant, problem; I’ve done everything there is to do on the game! I’ve gotten all the cats, buildings, and kittens so there’s really nothing else I can do 😞. If there are no further updates I might even delete it. Some of the new updates could be more things to get hearts (like other than petting, feeding, Rock Paper Scissors etc.) and more of the animal friends ( like the dog, panda, bird). Also I think if you could go to a shop be buy cat food that might be fun. Anyway this is a great game and you should definitely get it, but I hope there are many updates to come. P.S. sorry for the long post if your reading this, you’re a review scholar 😂😂

I just got this game not even 24 hours ago and I am already in love! I totally recommend this game to anyone who loves cats and I just want to say thanks to the makers of this game! I got my sister to get the game and she loves it to. I love cats and I personally and I only have one myself but I am a very proud owner of 14 cats in this game. And I also have lots of other cat games where I take care of cats. Must be why my name on Cats are Cute is cat grandma! But this game is really fun and I recommend it to anyone who loves cats and likes taking care of them! Another thing you also have to do is use your fish and cat grass wisely or you won’t have enough to get new cats and to level them up. One thing I don’t understand is why the age level is 12+. My sis is 6 and can play this game… Thank you for the new cats creators! But i updates the app a couple days ago and I am kind of upset that you cannot make videos and gifs anymore 😔. If you could please try to put the gifs and videos back 🙂

I’m a dog person but this is a great game for all animal lovers!!! I wish there was bigger updates, rather than just adding more cats. I understand this is a game created by ONE person - and MUCH respect ✊- buuuut I still feel like the developer could be doing a lot more. It’s not like it’s impossible, I mean look at a game like Stardew Valley which has an incredible amount of depth, and was made by one dude. As the game stands, it is just another clicker - better than 99% of other clicker games out there, but I hope more content will be added because it would be a waste to leave this game as-is when it has so much potential. I have tons of ideas 💡 which I would love to share with the developer!!!!! To make this a real, well rounded game and not just a clicker. Anyway, I still give it a solid 4 stars because as far as I can tell it’s a work in progress, and a very impressive effort for an indie developer. And the coding seems to be pretty solid because I’ve only had the game crash on me ONCE, ever. Unfortunately the crash happens when I try to use the in-game camera :(

Overall this game is quite cute. The cats are adorable and that’s what leaves me a touch disappointed. Some of the cats will say to play with them or pet them, which you can’t do. I’d absolutely love to be able to select a cat and pet it or brush it or play with it with a cat toy or something. It’s possible that that’s what the cat toy collectible things are for, I’m fairly new, but even still. I just tried to learn a new skill with the toys I got from re-discovering a cat and I failed to learn it at 71%. That’s incredibly disappointing that it’s rare to get these toys and there’s still a chance that you won’t even get to use them for benefit. There’s not much to do and while I discover new cats my OCD kicks in hard because of the different buildings and I feel the need to re-arrange them but that’ll cost a whole ton for me to do so in a way that suits my OCD and will have to continue doing throughout my time playing. Perhaps lower the prices or remove them completely for moving the cats/houses. You already have to pay for new cats, upgrade houses and cats separately and new skills. That’s a touch harsh.

This is one of the most relaxing, lenient, simple, enjoyable games I’ve ever played. The daily quest makes it worth a once daily log in, finding all the cats took me just over a month, and there are little surprises in the game that are just delightful! It keeps track of how much time you’ve been in the game today, and everything in the game is accessible without purchases. Ads are optional (but part of daily quest, so worth it) and the entire game is just so pleasing, both aesthetically and pacing-wise. Those complaining about the long upgrade times... I understand, but I think intentionally going slow is a reflection of the game’s simplicity, to pace yourself and enjoy, just like cats. No need to rush - the achievements will come in due time, all the cats will come in due time, and you’ll find yourself addicted in due time! The only thing I can’t wait for is mating, now that I found all the cats. For now, I’ll be upgrading and decorating and learning new skills!

First of all... I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!! Also it’s soooooooo interesting because you can play little mini games with your cats you can talk to them they are so much fun stuff you can do with your cats but I have a few suggestions up my sleeve so I will tell them at the end but for now I will tell you a bit about the game! First my favorite cat so far is Dunkin<3 because he lives at a donut shop and I think that idea is soooo so so adorable!!!!! ☺️☺️☺️ anyways here are my suggestions. So first I think you should add that you can actually go inside the cats homes and you can decorate them and stuff so that’s one of my suggestions let’s move on to number two! (Btw they are two suggestions so yeah) my second suggestion is you should add the that you can cost on your look because we never get to see ourselves so please look into my suggestions thank you for reading this btw! ☺️

I just started playing this game but I am so pleased with the experience and how much time I’m able to pass with it. I’ve had my boyfriend and best friend download this game and they love it as well. Cats are cute is a very therapeutic game, and yes it’s very cute like it says in the title. I would compare the love I have for this game to my love for Animal Crossing. Whilst there are goals and achievements, the game doesn’t pressure the player to complete them, which enables the player to have freedom and choose what they want to do with their cat town. I would say that is what makes the game so enjoyable. One recommendation is maybe introducing an online feature/multiplayer concept (in game, rather than game center) so players can invite their friends to play, visit each other’s town, and take care of each other’s cats. I think this would be cool because it would give players a sense of community and companionship! :)

You cannot stop smiling when playing this game. Literally! It is so cute, and everything about this app is just so well thought out and made with care! I love, love, love how each cat has unique quirks, and I also love that you can discover little animal friends! I’m so excited to explore the breeding feature. It is a little difficult to obtain toys to achieve the right conditions to breed (once you’re on a high level, it’s easier to do this by maxing out your number of cats so every time you “buy a new cat”, you only get toys) but I didn’t have many problems. It is easiest to save up a bunch of toys so you can breed more cats at a time, increasing the chance of two cats becoming a family (I am trying to discover more cats so I can breed all of them at the same time). I have yet to find a kitty *huff* but I will be patient...overall, this game has the power to turn a dog lover into a virtual cat lady ;)

All I need is taz. Is that so much to ask? I love this game and I’ve been playing so much I only need one more cat. I’ve saved up so much fish and cat grass to get my last cat using the event draw which gives it a 3 times rate up on taz and I’ve used it 16 times and I’m starting to think the game won’t let you unlock all the cats. Maybe it will let you when there’s an update idk but I feel like theirs no motive to play when I only have one more cat and literally no way to get it. I get sad when I have zero cat grass and fish left after I’ve spent it all in trying to get the last cat which is apparently impossible ahhh! Overall the best game ever or it will have been after you get 41 cats then it’s just down right rude (but you’ll have a fun first 30 days of getting all of them) (also I gave it 3 stars because I want something to see it and be like yes u can get all the cats (bc I feel like they tend to skip over the 5 stars))(five stars)

This game is really fun for cat lovers, I love how innocent the game is and it’s super cute but the game itself gets boring soon after you download it. Sure it’s fun to play for a couple of weeks but then it gets pretty, boring and I have a few suggestions that could improve the game. I think that there should be like more places were you can go once you reach a certain level where there are more buildings and different quest or task to complete. Or maybe add another type of cash (other than the fish, cat grass and cat toys) Or maybe add in supper rare cats that have look really cool and different than the other cats. Or maybe when you get a friend from completing the secret quests they make buildings produce more money or something. Anyways these are just suggestions, and I love the art style too, so all in all this game is still really cute and fun to play!

This game is so genuinely adorable and enjoyable that I think it ranks as one of my fave app games of all time! No popup ads or relentless in-game purchases, just good ol' cats. The option for in-game purchases of the currency is there, but you don't need them to enjoy the game at all which is SO refreshing. Cats Are Cute is undemanding with your time, and it lets you play at your own pace (which usually ends up being very fast because it's GOOD), without punishing you for not dedicating like every hour of your day to the game. The rarer form of currency is still acquirable without spending real money to get it, which is SUCH a welcome departure from what seems like most games these days. I love the new mating option (kittensss), and I'm so excited to see where the developers take this game next! Thank you Cats Are Cute developers, I owe you my life 😩

I don’t know what you are expecting, it’s in the name. You collect cat by clicking the ground to level up, leveling up lets you get more cats and interacting with cats lets you get money to actually buy the cats. So basically it’s a clicker game with more than just clicking, you can level up cats and if you get duplicates you can change the action they are doing, the more duplicates you get the more money you get from said cat. Other than that there is the mildly entertaining quest of trying to find all the other animals hidden around the map, typically found by clicking a certain object 100 times. So overall a pretty fun clicker game about cats, my only problem being the fact that to complete all the daily quests and get a bonus, you have to take a screenshot this can clog up your memory quickly and makes it easier to just stop going after daily quests and getting money other ways instead.

I am obsessed. I love the simplicity of the game, and how the majority of it is monochrome. It really helps keep the image from stressing you out with all of the colors. I love the little comments the cats make, and just overall how words are used in the game. The different requests from the cats are adorable. The biggest thing that I love with all of my heart and more, is that the ads are voluntary. I cannot express my gratitude for how thankful I am that there aren’t just random ads popping up mid play. I love the idea of so many apps, but they all have those pop up ads which make me sick of the game. Plus, having some of the daily and overall goals being to watch the ads actually makes you want to watch them, hopefully bringing in enough revenue to you guys. This game is really relaxing, and is always a pleasure to play. Thank you! :,)

LOVE IT! I love cats and have always been downloading car related games that don’t really hold my interest for more than a week or two. Granted, I just got this app a few days ago, but I absolutely adore it. The art is cute and the cats are cuter. I really like how it’s a very afk game. Although I check it often, I’m not going to be staring at my phone for hours on end for it because there’s only a number of things you need/can do. It’s relaxing and I enjoy laying out the town and adding decorations when I am able. I also love the cute little surprises with the hidden quests! Everything is very adorable and simple. I can’t wait for more updates and see what the mating function will be like. I would also like to see more residential buildings in the game since I think there are only 2 buildings that are residential. I’m excited to see where this game goes :3

Can you developers of the game please do your best to add a chat for the cats? You’d be able to type anything you’d want and the cat will say it when you press the “talk” button. I think maybe this could add more dialogue to the game. You should also add a cat list so that you can create your own cat conversations to keep you entertained during gameplay. There should also be emojis to give players a wider selection of things to make the cats express themselves in the game. You should also be able to create your own custom decorations. But it cost 100 fish to create your own decoration. There should be a really big selection of items to set in the cats home. I think that’s enough for today and I really hope that you can maybe one day release these new features in a future update - An Extremely Satisfied Customer 😊

I have an addiction to this game! I play it all the time and have started recommending it to my friends. The name is definitely accurate, as the cats are as cute as can be. I like how there’s multiple different types of currency in the game, and though you can buy some extra, it doesn’t hurt your game to not have it. However, it’s just challenging enough that I keep coming back but I don’t rage quit lol. The only thing I dislike about the game is how hard it is to get yarn when you first start out, but it doesn’t hurt the game enough for me to give it a smaller rating. I guess you could say it just pushes me to keep getting more cats. If you’re on the fence, go get the game! It’s totally worth it as it’s my favorite mobile game! I like the game but it needs some work. 1. Daily Tasks: There are ten. The top listed task is to accomplish all of the other tasks and there is a goal daily for 11 days so there is a tracking sign 0/11. I have accomplished all tasks for 6 days and the score still shows 0/11... no credit. 2. One of the daily tasks is to watch 3 ads. For the last day I have not been able to watch any ads... screen says, “try again.” 3. You can earn 5 balls of yarn daily to use to teach skills to a cat. Every time I try to teach a skill or decoration, I have discovered that I am actually playing a game and the skill or deor is a reward. I have to use balls of yarn and PAY an amount of fish (5 yarn needs 500 fish). I finally figured out that I have to tap the screen until it tells me I’m at 100%. I do not know how many taps equal 100% because I am not told how many. When I lose I’m told to “try again,” but I need more balls of yarn and more fish to “try again.” I have decided to stop trying to add skills or decorations.

The game when you first get it is awesome, and it’s super cute. I always sign in just a bit to collect stuff like fish and achievements but, it gets boring after playing for a few weeks. I played nonstop upgrading my cats, their house etc. But the heart measure at the top got way too high so I could really so much. And since you have to level up getting those hearts, ( which you do by tapping the screen nonstop ) I can’t get any more cats. I love this game but this needs to be resolved or lowered. And if you want to upgrade your cats then you can’t until you get another one. Which again you can only get if you fill your heart meter up. It just really frustrated me and made me lose a bit of interest. And instead of cats you can only get toys which you use to upgrade your cats etc.

I am absolutely obsessed with this game! Very fun and easy to play, I have been at the beach and when it rains I play this! My family(Me and the kids) each have little battles to see who can get to the highest level in a short amount of time. My kids had a few suggestions for future updates, 1) A way to make more hearts other than just tapping and cat caring 2) Adding a litter box feature where the cat needs to have a litter box cleaned up 3) We think all cats should be able to roam freely, Ex: Oscar, lives at the playground and he cannot walk around all his cats skills make him stay in the park. But overall a very good game, would recommend, keep doing what you are doing. You don’t have to follow our ideas, it’s your game! But it will always be one of my favorites!

I just downloaded this game today and I'm in love! The design is so cute, I do like how everything is in black and white except for the cats, I think that gives the game some personality. It looks so simple but its so fun to play. I do just wish there was a little more things to do, like the mating update will make everything so much better. I hope this game hasnt been abandoned! Edit: After playing for a few days theres just one thing I dont understand, for the Event draw, I dont seem to be getting the correct cat... I thought I was paying extra catgrass in order to get the cat of the day, but twice now I have just gotten duplicates of other cats. So what is the point of paying extra for the event when I could just do the premium draw instead and get the same exact thing.........

I am completely confused by how many people—including the App Store editors who write the daily recommendations—like this “game” so much. It is nearly incomprehensible and requires a shocking number of in-app purchases to do anything substantive. It’s hard to even call it a game; the main activity is tapping your screen as fast as possible to earn hearts in order to level up and get more fish, or something. I couldn’t find any meaningful instructions for how to play. I started having flashbacks to the early FarmVille days when I would drool like an idiot and feel my hands twitching to pay actual real world money because I wanted the Purple Striped Pony SO MUCH!! At least the pony was cute, but I really don’t find the monotonous line-drawn cats in this game all that cute. One sat on the roof of its shop while the other endlessly circled the block. this game is wonderful for anybody who enjoys a game devoid of stress, or needs a simple escape. every action regarding the cats is extremely wholesome, especially the positive messages recieved when you level up. the cats are adorable—i get attached to them, there's a lot of different activities or goals you can set for yourself, and i love it. to some people though; those who look for a gripping element of gameplay, this game can appear very bland. the game is very focused on the good feelings it inspires, but there's just no real GRIPPING element when it comes to gameplay. that does not say that the game doesn't have gameplay or interesting elements, but i do believe that is one thing it's missing for some people. if you take a game like DragonVale—you can decorate your islands, race and train your dragons, feed them but having to buy farms, there are events held, there are special dragons, you can breed dragons to get a dragon you want, you can get special powers by unlocking the most legendary of dragons, and more. when compared to Cats Are Cute, DragonVale is an amusement park while Cats Are Cute is a small party that at least has warm and good feelings. 4 stars because there's always so much room for improvement! but overall, i love the game—could just use some work is all.

This is a really simple game, but it’s pretty adorable and addicting, no complaints really. Also my friends love me sending them pictures of the cats. Overall good game and a boredom buster. Oh also Inari is a very good boy and he’s my favorite kitty he is the best boy. Edit: my only real complaint is that the music gets a little repetitive. I think there should be a couple of songs that loop, but the same tune looping over and over again gets boring. Maybe if 3-5 songs played over and over again, that would fix my complaint. I know it is hard to find music for a game for tons of reasons so I won’t change my 5 star rating because more music may not be an option. Even if the game has only 1 song it’s still a good game.

This game is very cute and simple! You click the screen to collect hearts to level up, when you level up you get cat grass and fish which you can use to get new cats! You can also get fish from the places where the cats live in! If you need a game to pass the time, this is the game for you, plus.. the music is super derpy and cute! But I have one con.. once you get alot of normal cats, the normal draw is worthless, unless you want a ton of toys, so please add more normal cats Now time for suggestions XD *i read a lot of reviews so i will agree with quite a few that people added* I think the cats should interact with each other like in tomagachi life where the characters go to each others apartments and interact with each other doing yoga and other stuff! Like a cat can go to the cat cafe and get coffee served to them! I also would like to venture out into the forest and find lost toys or other wild cats and name them if you find one, ( since they are wild/stray cats ) i also think it would be cool to go to other peoples towns! Also for the new breeding update i think it would be awsome to be like, the cats latte+milky=hot cocoa, mini games should also be added to have something to do

So I really really sincerely love this game, and don’t have any problems with it! The only thing that really makes my playing experience just less than perfect, is having to go through and level up every single of of my buildings when I go up a level. This is why I suggest that in a future update, a button should be added in that allows you to level up all the buildings at once. It’s very tiresome and annoying to have to individually do all the buildings, especially when you have many of them. That’s just my suggestion!! I love this game, it’s addicting, adorable, and very fun. I even find the background music getting stuck in my head sometimes because of how catchy it is. Wonderful game, definitely worth my 5 stars and more ♥️♥️♥️

One of my friends recommended this game to me and some of my other friends, and now we can’t stop playing. It’s very satisfying to play, cute, entertaining, and very easy to understand. You can play it in short bursts or for hours on end and not miss out on anything going on in game. You don’t even need to wait to build things, and you can get plenty of free currency just by playing. This is probably the best free to play game I’ve ever seen. If you like cats and games, this one is perfect for you! You can collect cats, build a town, and there’s always something to do, wether it’s playing hide and seek with a cat, collecting fish, upgrading buildings, getting new cats, or just tapping for hearts to level up your town. Just try it ~ you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

I adore this game, my boyfriend and i race each other to see who levels up faster and show each our town design and favorite cats. i love that this game is continually updating giving me hope i can play forever. my only quarrel is that there’s no incentive to pay for anything in the game w real money. ofc this is an amazing thing as you don’t need to spend money to advance but if the developers did want users to pay for features to support the game it’s not worth it. 600 cat grass for five dollars is stupid especially bc i get 600 cat grass just for missions. maybe if it was 6000 cat grass it would be more enticing. but if my only problem is that it’s not worth it to spend real money that isn’t bad at all. love the game and exciting to see any new features to come

I rarely write reviews, but I just had to with “Cats Are Cute,” because oh my god, I just love it. It’s a tapper game, but with a twist; I love the art style, the music, how you can design your own town, I wouldn’t change a thing! My only request is to keep adding more cute cats/buildings, maybe you could eventually make different sections, right now would be considered the town, maybe make a city screen with big sky scrapers, a mountain scene, I mean, you could do so much! I love the little splashes of color, and the stupidly cute cat faces, wagging their tales eagerly. Love love love it! Keep it up! (For those wanting a comparison to other apps, I’d say it’s kind of a combination of tap tap fish-abyssrium & kleptocats, which are some favorites of mine as well.) Update: Please add more cats & stuff to do!

I just got this game like 5 minutes ago and I already have 7 cats!!!!!! This game is easy but keeps you entertained. I just wish there was a little more color other then the cats. Maybe the decorations are colorful, I don’t know cause I haven’t gotten one yet. But if they aren’t PLEASE color them!!!! Another thing is that when your cats aren’t talking to you, you just tap the screen. That’s it. I was wondering if the cats could just ya know, chat with each other. Maybe have some cats be best friends and other cats be ENEMIES!!!!!!!! I think this would make it more entertaining!!! I hope you think about my suggestions, and you don’t have to do them!!! Hello! I have been playing this for 2 days and I spotted some things that I think the creators of the game should change. 1, Whenever you level up to get another cat you can only buy one cat that you have to click 5 billion more times. 2, I think there should be a dark mode because when you wake up to play this game, the white murders your eyes. 3, When ever I look for one of my cats so I can level it up, I can't find it only to find out it's behind a building so I wish the creators could put a dotted line around cats whenever they go behind buildings (When I can't find them I just click on theirs house if you were wondering). 4, I wish you had the choice to name certain cats. Really enjoying having the game. I like that the visuals are simple but still really cute. With some idle games, the visuals and tasks get really overwhelming. It's equally easy to get fish and catnip, the menus are easy to sort through (though icons are teeny tiny), and I'm delighted with every new thing I find. I think there are some quality of life changes that could make more tedious parts of the game a bit easier, like an auto collect option for fish. It's fine in the beginning, but once it gets to a town of 20-30 cats it's a lot. I imagine toys are easier to get once all the cats are collected, but it would be nice if there was another way to get them. Overall, I really adore this game. It makes me happy to check in and I'm excited to start letting my cats go on dates.

This was great at first, cute cats, cute buildings, but tapping like mad, knowing the developer is making cash with every single one, gets old fast, particularly near the end when it’s nearly impossible to release the last few cats/buildings. e.g. I was bedridden one day and played without much interruption for nearly 12 hours straight, without a single release, even though my level was way beyond the number of cats I’d already released. Also, there really isn’t much to do once you place the buildings/areas, and the long-awaited “mating” update is supremely lame. After more endless tapping to get the cat from level 11 or 16 to 30, and to purchase those toys—there’s nothing like being forced to perform 60 moves to release something that releases something else that you need to release something else in order to release the materials to make something to release something only to be rewarded with a “FAIL” or only a few items (hello Cat Game?)—idle games should be just that...I can’t stand it when developers either make idle games to difficult or add fails. Anyway, after finally getting your cat to level 30, you have to wait four hours....then...guess what? MORE FAILS. I have no idea why this has so many positive reviews. Deleted it after losing the will to tap even one more time. Cat Room is a far better idle game, far better animation, etc.

Once upon a time, I was waiting for my laptop to update so I decided to check the AppStore of my phone. The first thing I saw was an ad for this adorable new indie game. Now I feel like it might have been fate because I love cats, and so when I saw this game, obviously I had to download it. I enjoy the cute little details in the game. When the cats just plop down on the sidewalks, or when they “hide” in the most adorable ways. I can’t wait to see what new things get added to the game as it grows. I do wonder from time to time, what the game would look like if it had more color to it. But for the moment, I think it’s purrfect. I do think you should incorporate more interaction types with the cats. Maybe another game or two? Just a suggestion.

Okay, if you don’t want to be addicted to this game-don’t play it. Basically; you start out with two cats and you get more and more and the town progresses. Works without internet. Great for a road trip (ect.) That’s what is going to convince to play this game. What might not is the fact that you spend so much of your coins and time to get stuf like that and sometimes you get the same cat when you attract a new one and it says: we meet again and then it just gives you a couple toys instead of your fish back, and! If you pay for some of the fish or grass or whatever that stuf is and you just get another toy then you are wasting your money. DO NOT PAY FOR THE IN APP PURCHASES! I love cat games and this is addicting in a good way thanks whoever the developer is! And please fix the ‘we meet again’ problem thing.

I don’t remember how or when I found this game, but I’ve had it for a year or so and I really love it. There are ads in the game, but they aren’t intrusive at all, which is amazing. I hate when ads just pop up and interrupt the game that you’re playing, but it’s totally optional. There are so many cats and little things that I keep finding. Like when you get a certain amount of little homes or you place certain cats next to each other you get rewards! I didn’t know some of that for the longest time. If you want to destress with cute lil’ cats (and friends) I highly highly suggest this game. I’ve shown it to so many of my friends, and they ended up downloading it and loving as well! It’s so cute and well laid out. Love, love, love!!

The game is cute, fun, and a great way to waste some time, but a couple of small missing details leave it feeling very unsatisfying at times. My main problem is how long it takes to upgrade EVERYTHING. Any time you want to upgrade a cat, a building, a skill, decoration, etc... a short animation plays with no way to skip it. This is worsened by the fact that you can only upgrade in increments of 1, 5, or 10. This makes mass upgrading EXTREMELY tedious and it gets to be really annoying, especially since this is a game best enjoyed in short bursts. It also applies when grinding for toys which makes upgrading skills and decorations take an absurd amount of time. Because of this, this game is outshined greatly by other similar “click and upgrade” style titles, which is a shame since the aesthetic of this one is so unique in that genre. I would love to see some adjustments made to the upgrade system to make it more efficient and easier to use and for actions not to take so long. At its core, it’s cute game that accomplishes a lot, but is held back by some fundamental flaws. It’s aesthetic and overall presentation has me coming back for now, but if these small adjustments are made, it will certainly become a staple in my library, as well as an easy 5 star title. I hope to see it updated.

Charming, relaxing, great atmosphere, creative and cute, with plenty of cat puns. You can probably figure that out within the first minute of booting up the game. There’s quite a few glowing reviews in here, so I don’t really see the point in saying the same thing. As for those considering downloading, do it. It’s a great time killer, and quite a bit of fun. The rest of this review will more be constructive criticism, as I don’t see a point to writing the same thing you can find in any other review. My number 1 criticism for this game is a lack of things to actually do. I get it, the game is ultra-casual. But I think adding a few more interactions with the cats, and maybe having buildings/cats more individualized would be nice. In addition, while great, the music quantity is pretty limited to the point where ever time I close the game, I can still hear the music echoing in my head. Can’t wait for the mating update, hope it comes out soon!

I Love this game it would be nice though if you didn’t have to keep on tapping in the lake for so long. And I would like it to be able to take them inside the house with the ones that have the houses. Also I think it would be cute if you could take care of them like in real life. As much as I love this game I also feel that there should be a night and morning and different songs that you can play not just the same song over and over again. Also I wish that it wouldn’t be to hard or to easy on how to raise up the fish and grass. But other then that I love this game very much. Also I feel like you should add a store for toys and decoration for the inside of houses or for other places.

This game is really simple and adorable. I like that it doesn’t force you to watch ads, unlike some free games. I have no problems with watching ads, as long as it’s my choice and I feel like I’m getting something from it. Also, the game is really fun in the beginning, but it gets old fast. Once you get past a certain level and collect most of the cats, there’s not much you can do. I’ve been trying to get the last 2 cats for a couple of weeks, and it feel like it’s impossible. I just keep getting toys, really frustrating. Edit: I’ve continued playing for a while, and I’m convinced Cookie and Sasha are impossible to get. Is the game just not letting me get them to try to get me to keep playing and spend money?Probably gonna quit soon, because I refuse to spend money on a game like this.
