First of all, the security questions should be be optional, or at least able to delay it until you have time for it. It was highly inappropriate when I needed to log in quickly. 1) I hate portrait mode. Please allow landscape. 2) When answering the third and last security question at the bottom of the page, the screen doesn’t scroll above the on-screen keypad in split mode. I had to write my answer blindly since I couldn’t see the box. 3) when I tried to send “Feedback”, it said “hit the “start” button to continue” But there was no “start” button.
Thank you for always providing excellent customer service. From the tellers to the managers, they’ve always provided a welcoming feeling. On days when I was extremely stressed out and in a rush, I meant a lot when they simply ask, “How was your day?” Do you have any plans for the weekend?” Very genuine and sincere, thank you CPB. I’ve been a customer since 2006. From the Kapalama branch where I started, to the in store branches on the weekends, the main branch on Alakea (I attended the grand opening) and now the Pearlridge branch, the level of customer service provided should be modeled by other financial institutions. I absolutely love this app! It makes it easy for me to view all my accounts (even accounts that aren’t CPB) in one place! Talk about convenience! I also get to make transfers to my EXTERNAL accounts! That’s crazy and not to mention unheard of! It’s user friendly and I’m able to customize my budgets and accounts! The best part of it all...IT’S ALL FREE!!!!! I’m completely blown away! All I’m saying is, if you’re not banking with Central Pacific Bank, you’re doing something wrong. AND their staff is always so friendly and welcoming and ready to service their customers! You’re the best CPB! I love my bank!
Honestly this app is really great. Sometimes shows opportunities for cars and credit cards and stuff but that’s about it. The app automatically categorizes your payments and shows your increase/decrease of fluctuations through the months on how much you spend and how much you make and get paid, even tracks your transfers from checking to savings and stuff like that even can track your budget on whatever you set it to and all the income u get in the month.
Instead of having to login on the google app or safari to check my account, I can literally see everything I need to know with just a fingerprint i.d. sign in. So many nice features that I wont bother listing, but good to know it’s there to help me manage my account. All in all, such a great app. Even the fact I can deposit checks from it, although it takes a few days…thats still awesome.
The ease of use on this app makes me feel safe and secure. I almost exclusively use this app for everything related to my financial needs, from paying bills, transacting business with other online apps, and check my balances while traveling. I needed help recently and called customer support for online assistance. They were very helpful and resolved the issues quickly.
If you need to check account balances, it will do that. If you intend to use the online deposit feature, Forget about it. It simply doesn’t work. Have tried it a hundred times in different settings, lighting, etc. the high schooler who created this app probably got a D before he sold it off to COB. Come on CPB. We deserve better than this. Sad.
To be honest, I bank with a lot of different banks and not all the apps are all that great. This app really puts everything in one area. You can add in other bank accounts and see your full spectrum of worth. Give you stats and data for your viewing pleasure. This was a big update and CPB did not leave anything out. 10/10. Not too cluttered and very easy to navigate. Amazing CPB!
Love this app. It has so many features. I can deposit, transfer, pay bills, keep an eye on my budget and even look at my other accounts. My bank goes with me. I don’t have to wait until I’m home at the computer to do anything. I will miss the lovely people at the branch but the time savings is enormous! Thank you for such a great app.
Huge improvement over the previous version. However the same problems persist. Whenever there’s an update or basically anything CPB does it forgets your login and you must call there help phone number to log in again. Whomever makes their app should be ashamed. If CPB’s app logs me out where I have to call customer service again I’ll just switch to Bank of Hawaii or American Savings instead. I’ve been calling and writing reviews for years and they don’t listen or care.
Very impressed with how much this new app is far more advanced than the previous one. Being able to add on my other bank accounts and to have all of them on one app is super convenient. I don’t have to keep opening multiple apps all the time anymore. I’m also glad we have finally have integrated Zelle, making it super easy to send money to others.
I love the app. It has not failed me. I transfer money a lot and it always gets the job done. When I want to deposit my checks, it does a great job in doing just that. I don’t have to feel like I have to go in at all. I don’t know when the last time I went into the bank to make a transaction. I love CPB. They are on it.
The app is very sleek and easy to understand! There’s so many cool features and tools that will help me budget my finances. I enjoy that I can aggregate all my accounts (even external accounts) and see my total net worth and spending trends! I do mostly everything online and this app eliminates the need for me to go to branches for small transactions. Thanks CPB!
Love the new look and feel of this mobile banking app! Such a huge improvement over the old one, and it also has some great financial planning and wellness tools too! Great look-happy colors! This app was designed that even tech challenged people as myself find easy to use. It’s easy to transfer funds, check account balances, and easy to find who can help you if you’re having trouble banking online. Thanks for the update CPB! I’ve been a customer since 1977👍🏽
Huge improvement from what the app use to be like. Love the new app love the new look! Has not shut down on me at all. Like being able to deposit checks with the camera makes it so much easier. All around excellent! Would recommend to others
I am just learning this app and it’s pretty straight forward and sooo time saving. I deposit checks Mobily, can rectify my accounts, tag and catagorize business expenses. I love it! I also really enjoy the positive helping folks whenever I have a problem to work out. CPB is the best!
It might be an big improvement from the previous one but it’s way to busy with all the logos that created big spaces between line items. Not the most efficient format. The balance for each account is pretty current but the transactions are not updated to match the balance, sometimes delayed by more than a few days. This is makes confusing when reconcile the account...Yes, some of us still do balance the check book;)
Zelle is a lot better and moves money faster than Pop money. I like that I can now link other bank accounts like my credit union and transfer funds. The mobile app is as powerful as desktop version.
This app is far superior then old app. It saves a lot of time when I can bank with ease. This definitely surpasses my expectations. I haven’t seen this with other banks I have been with. Central Pacific is doing something right, also during COVID? WOW!
Very friendly and helpful - a very easy to use online app. The Ewa Beach branch was recommended to me by a friend and longtime customer of theirs, and I’m glad that’s the route I took. None of the long waits I read reviews about at other banks.
Love all the color. With all my finances on the same page, it gives me a better idea of how I stand financially. Seeing all my credit card balances in one app makes me more mindful of my spending. Great job!

I also have a bank on the mainland, and CPB’s app is just way better. Features like the spending and budgeting summaries make it easy to understand my finances at a glance...everything seems to be designed just for me and my money management. Very cool.
This app is very glitchy and I need to uninstall it for it to work properly. I even once mobile deposited a $10k check and it didn’t show up on my account through the app, and the manager at the bank literally had no solution or explanation for it, they just had to manually credit my account at the bank. Beware of missing deposits through the app.
This app is so easy to use the virtual teller is always there when you have questions. The account bonuses are super easy to get. I would totally recommend this app to friends and family.
Central Pacific Bank’s app makes banking easy. You can check your balance, transfer funds and keep track of your expenses. I am an old fashioned paper and pencil guy but this app has boosted me into the online age!
I’m really loving the new app and features that this app has to offer. The new changes are amazing and very easy to find what your looking for. This is a lot more convenient to check up on your accounts and statements.
Desktop - It’s a user friendly app but they have missed out on adding the month name when I download my bank statements in pdf format. It shows gibberish name and I have to open each one of them to know what month it is for. Mobile - We cannot download the statement, everything is in some gibberish language. Also, the Zelle transfer on mobile app fails.
To use the application , it’s difficult to find the mobile deposit logo. The photo is hard to capture, I had to pull my phone far back to capture the full image , the auto capture does not work well at that distance.
Took a picture of a check and there’s no confirmation to say that it was received or pending. The funds were not added to my balance or shown pending balance compared to if you deposit it in person, at least the receipt shows the picture of the check and the updated balance.
Love the new version. User friendly and comprehensive. You can link your external investment and bank accounts with this app and able to make transfers and view all your accounts with one login.
Nice app for handling Central Pacific Bank transactions. Initially I experienced some issues with synching non CPB accounts, but now I find that issue gas resolved. Now the app operates excellently without issue. Well deserved 5 stars now Update: “We are currently experiencing issues logging into our mobile app. Thank you for your patience.” How about telling us that before we change our password 3 times.

Occasionally would like to see online statements at any given time. Would also like to receive printed statements end of month. Other than those 2 items online banking is very very good!
I appreciate the great customer service at the branch, the watchful fraud service calls to verify charges when it’s from an unfamiliar source. I live the new mobile banking app. I recommend this bank .
I love the bank and am so happy to see the updated app! It has all of the current tools and reports which really help me with managing my expenses. Also very easy to see my previous activity with descriptions, I love it!
I wish the external accounts stayed hidden once you select it. Everytime I login, the same accounts reappear. I always have to hide them. Also the "Mark as Closed" option is pointless because it doesn't do anything. Please fix.
I love the new app especially the budget, spend analysis feature and the transaction tagging. And not to mention the ability to send/receive money to friends and family in real time via Zelle is a far superior than POP money.
I like the improved UI and to have extra features like having zelle to send payments to your fellow peers and seeing your transactions helps a lot as well!
Half the time the mobile deposit doesn’t even work. This is a basic function of any mobile banking and it’s quite frustrating that I need to go down to the branch because their app doesn’t work.

The CPB app is convenient and easy to use. It would be helpful to have a pending ACH transactions option, or perhaps it’s already available and I am unaware of this feature.
