Game is great, however, it has developed a terrible glitch, game freezes and you are forced to close game in middle of hand. Also, I would like to have opportunity to change scoring, scoring zero if you do not score exact bid. Thanks.
This is a good game but could use some tweaks and polishing. When a game ends, sometimes the option to start a new game appears at the bottom of the screen and sometimes there’s nothing there. Then I have to close the app and re- open it. An “ undo”button is needed because it’s too easy to touch the wrong card. They’re small. I don’t like that the screen switched to the scoresheet in a nano- second after the last play. It’s annoyingly. But all- in - all its very playable and I enjoy it. Polishing it up a bit would make it much better.
Wish the screen would rotate Landscape so you could see all players when bid board comes up. Also score pops up immediately after last trick played so you can’t see final bids/tricks taken....which to me is extremely annoying. Not enough explanation about game, how deal plays out with reduced cards, etc for beginners. No undo if you accidentally tap screen and/or play wrong card....which should be available as a setting as....undo on/off...especially for beginners!
Two problems with the rules that make it less interesting: 1. Total bids from all players can’t be equal to the number of tricks available, which is the source of the name of the game (e.g., last bidder in a 4-card hand wants to bid 1, but the total of the other three bidders is 3–“Oh he’ll!) 2. Players who win fewer tricks than their bid get ZERO points! Other scoring correct (10 point bonus for equally bid, number of tricks for exceeding bid).
Should have option to not allow points when bidding 0. Should allow option to not allow any points when not making your bid. Allow option to get minus 10 when you don’t make your bid
Use to play a version of this game called: 10,9,8. Spent hours playing this with my friends. Spent quite a few hours playing this game on my phone. Great game, thanks 😄
I learned this game many years ago. Glad to have this version that allows lots of options. I think choosing the nil bid and screw the dealer makes you often say “Oh He’ll”!
Used to enjoy playing this at lunch with my co-workers. It’s great to find on line and I have added it to my other on-line card games by the same company! Thanks for the memories!
Surprising and challenging! Can be customized for harder levels! Your opponents are generally dirty rotten scondrels! I would like to have an option to UNDO a play and choose another card. It would give an edge against the low down stinking rastards that thwart my brilliant plans!!
We use to play this game with friends but we didn’t know the name of it. We called it "that silly little game" because a friend's mom called it that. Now we know the name. Super fun game.

There can be more than one winner. Play standard rules, with options to make Oh Hell! the perfect card game for you! ● Choose between 3 and 7 players ● Set the 'Screw the Dealer' rule on or off ● Set the ‘Nil Bid Worth 5’ rule on or off ● Set the Trump suit to Alternate or Next Card ● Choose between four types of game: Up, Down, Up and Down or Down and Up ● Choose between easy, medium or hard mode ● Choose normal or fast play ● Turn single click play on or off You can also customise your color themes and card decks to choose from to keep the landscape interesting! Quickfire Rules Oh Hell! follows the rules of standard trick-taking card games. A card is beaten either by a higher card of the same suit, or any trump card. Once a card is played, other players must play a card from the same suit. If they do not hold any cards from this suit, they may choose to Trump, playing any trump card to win, or to Throw Away, playing any non-trump card to lose the trick. Each trick scores one point, and correctly predicting how many tricks you will win at the bidding stage scores 10 points per round, or 5 if you bid 0 and the ‘Nil Bid Worth 5’ setting is switched on.
