Works great. Plenty of stations to choose from, but sometimes doesn’t work.

I chose the station right at the top of the list and the music sounds amazing! However, I chose at an earlier date I chose a station and it sounded horrible and it was at the top of the list, but there are plenty of other stations to choose from.

A waste of app

I’ve been using this app for a LONG time and used to use it a ton when traveling , working, etc. it USED to be able to refresh and show you stations available based off current location. Now instead it shows completely random stations for states all the way across the nation that wouldn’t work for me. When trying to find a station for my fm transmitter it keeps claiming “not available outside of the US” - Georgia is very much so a part of the US so idk what that’s about (I don’t have a vpn on). So I try to type my city in - didn’t recognize it as a real city. I tried the city next to me, didn’t work. I had to use the big city near me to try and get a station. Even when I’m in that city, the recommended stations barely work. I’ve been trying to give this new update a chance but hate it and don’t find the app helpful at all. I even tried messing with the settings to see if there was something I could change to fix it but unfortunately found nothing.

Great way to find FM transmit stations

I LOVE this app! I have purchased two separate Bluetooth speakers that have FM transmitters and could never use it through my speakers because the static was loud or the actual channel played. I downloaded this app and it told me exactly which channel to use (with my Bluetooth speaker) and it worked beautiful!!! So pumped! This app could have saved me so much aggravation before!

Convenient

If you're using a fm transmitter and want to find a clear unused signal this app is pretty good. It saves time to scroll to find a good one. There's no guarantee that you won't hear any static but oh well.

Does exactly as advertised

This app is intended for people who already own an fm transmitter and are trying to find the best frequencies to tune to. It never once in the description claims to transmit fm itself. The app is simple and easy to use, and has made finding the most viable frequencies much much easier for me.

Perfect.

Writing a review because of the reviews stating that this app doesn't work. This app is not meant for you to listen to the radio, it's to find a clear channel for an FM transmitter to play audio through.

Wow

So I dl it before reading reviews and found out the hard way it's just to locate a clear station for you to use with another device. Doesn't transmit anything! Why is it called fm transmitter then? Should be called clear channel finder Jesus. Waste of time. Don't download unless you just want to know what channel is clear around your area (and not really that clear some talking/music was still trans though).

Does exactly what it SAYS it does!

It isn't a frequency transmitter. It never claimed it was. It says it finds the best channels to transmit with, and it does it. Perfectly. Too bad people aren't reading about the app before they download it.

Clear channels aren't so clear.

After buying an FM transmitter I thought this app would be a life saver and save lots of time. I let it know my location and it gave me a list of channels that were supposed to be "good" and "okay" for the transmitter. EVERY SINGLE CHANNEL WAS BEING USED. After sitting and going through just a handful of channels on my own I found so many vacant channels. This app is amazing in theory but doesn't work what so ever.

This app is great for telling me and others who use it what station works best in your are but what's weird is this app works best on Apple devices so my parents can't really use it.😒

App currently broken!

I’ve used this app for years to find unused FM stations. I then use that info to set a low power fm transmitter for language Interpretation at large meeting with both English and spanish speakers. New version 4.0.0 does not function like the older version, it only has internet radio stations that you can listen to.

Very useful app

Good for if you live in a city and drive a car without any way to plug your phone in besides a Bluetooth radio adapter.

What a joke

It’s not an actual transmitter at all. The app has a button to where you can buy a transmitter. This app just tells you which stations they think are available which you can just do yourself by tuning your radio. Completely useless app. Surprised it got anything beyond 1 star. Fake reviews probably.

Literally didn’t work at all.

No weak signal. No bad audio quality. Literally just does nothing and doesn’t connect to the radio frequencies then a window pops up to ask the quality of the audio. Some of the stations listed as “good” were literally other radio stations as well.

Time saver fr sure

Honestly a super simple app but holy heck is it useful. I’d have been at the radio in my old Avalon for hours trying to find a clear station...

Great app but...

The app is great but is is off a little bit the best station for my area was way off but if you go up or down a few you should find a good one. Good app. Keep it up.

50/50 accuracy

About half of the suggested frequencies were in use, and one of the suggested frequencies is a popular radio station in my area. You’re better off doing trial and error than using information from this app—at least where I tested near a major US city.

Not accurate

Not sure where the data is being pulled from. But the one “best” and “good” vacant stations it listed in my area are most certainly not vacant, as they are regular radio station channels. Then 2/4 of the “OK” stations listed were vacant. The other two listed are also regular radio Chanel stations.

Added in app purchase to see clear stations

I've had this installed for a while and it was great but at some point they added IAP to see the clear stations. Not paying 5$ for a week of use.

Should be removed for malicious intent

Clicking on the current location/ GPS (the apps main purpose) triggers an audio blasting ad with no way of exiting. Closing app and reopening does nothing. Clearly intentional from the devs. Embarrassing.

The stations it recommended as vacant are the major radio stations of the Boston area...definitely not vacant!
