Best of all PM platforms
What’s 20 years working in corporate America, I have operated on a numerous number of platforms like Asana, meister task, and Base Camp, just to name a few. I will admit I did try downloading this once, but I looked kind of complex from the mobile app. But after wanted to try something new to manage my personal and professional tasks and goals, I gave it a whirl and dove into it had first and it’s mind blowing how many features you get even with the free version! It gives you a few automations, which is really nice for like auto assigning tasks to yourself, the web browser is very easy to navigate and I like the idea that you can tag all your favorites at the top to quickly navigate where you want to go. For an enterprise or an organization, needing a robust project management software, I could imagine any of the page versions being a ton of horsepower. For me personally the free version does more than I needed to do manage my own tasks. Thanks ClickUp you’re at the head of the pack.!

ClickUp is amazing! On desktop.
This mobile app isn’t great… It feels like someone started building an app, then slapped a web window into the parts they didn’t have time for yet. Things take a long time to load and it just lacks polish and refinement (especially as seen with the widgets looking like an iFrame embed on my Home Screen, with large dark borders around the content). For now, I’ll use the workaround of adding tasks to another app, then maybe automate them getting imported into ClickUp that way. Or use a ClickUp form. Either way, this app isn’t really useful to me. Hoping for more updates and improvements in the future! I LOVE ClickUp on desktop and think that the app is so well thought-out and executed there. 👏🏻 Update: They responded and thixed the iFrame embed look on the widget! Looks so much more at home now to get a quick glance at tasks. I’m realizing my issue with the app is the “My List” tab. The fact it removes the app nav from the bottom is frustrating, and it doesn’t seem to match the rest of the UI. Specifically, the column layout (for every view) doesn’t seem to make much sense. I’d rather the ability to add columns be added to the view settings, than at the end of every item. Ultimately, a simple list, with the ability to change statuses like the desktop app would be fantastic.

IPad App is terrible
The Web interface is ok, would be nice if ClickUp indicated the name of the Project/Folder in the Task description, so when you have projects/folders with similar Tasks on other projects, you know which one your updating. This is challenging when working on multiple projects with similar workflow and tasks w/sub tasks. & list. Would also be nice if ClickUp linked with your other calendars. Has potential with some additional enhancements. If your a drag and drop person using Kanban, you may like this. I prefer Kanban, List and Integrated Calendar. All these tasks apps appear to be lacking in Calendar integration with visibility and clear naming of Task association to Folder/Project; as if Outlook email, meeting invites and other standard office tools no longer exist. Example: Common Tasks performed on every project might be “Send Intro Letter to Customer”. Since the view arranges in order of flow with not Project name indicated, there could be several “Send Intro Letter to Customers” indicated with no means to know which project its for. It’s also Difficult to indicate due date/time if you can’t see the other things in your Outlook Calendar such as Meeting request, etc. Again has potential, but these items are a must for me, so.....maybe in the future I’ll reconsider if the added functions are there. Again, iPad interface is terrible and not even remotely close to that of the web version.

The best project management/ productivity app I have used
I’m a true end user (not a paid writer or so.) Tried nearly all the mainstream project management tools in the market and found none of them helpful - their UIUX were ugly, too complex, or incompetent. Until I found ClickUp, nothing has really caught my eyes. (Maybe the PomodoroToDo, but it’s slightly different.) ClickUp has nearly fulfilled all my needs for personal task management and has the most aesthetic interface I’ve ever seen. The functions are relatively complete (only a few for improvement) and comprehensive. I rarely write a review but I’m doing it because it has really impressed me. The product manager of ClickUp seems to understand all the user pain points. I believe it’ll become big one day, and I wish all the best and good luck to the hardworking team! (If you are hiring, let me know! Lol)

They can’t get a clue
ClickUp has gone BACK to not allowing you to customize your Home Screen. Very cool guys. Ive been a ClickUp user for a few years now. For most of that time, many users and myself kept asking on their roadmap to allow us to customize our app Home Screen. Guess what: earlier this year they finally did it! It was great! And guess what: they just took it away! That’s right, they’ve reverted back to a new useless layout that you can’t customize. Note for the ClickUp UX designers: I want to be able to open my app and see all my tasks *sorted by priority*, not due date. And no I don’t want to have to tap a couple times every time I open the app to see that. For some reason, you guys think that sorting by due date is the only way people want it. We don’t. This is not how my company works. Here’s the kicker: even if I select the “Assigned” button, then sort by priority, if I leave that tab and comes back, it defaults right back to Due Date. So frustrating. Get a clue and let your users customize their Home Screen (and no I don’t mean only giving us the options to have it default to the inbox or a specific list).

I prefer the browser version.
I’m a new user to project management apps and ClickUp and so I can’t say I’ve had anything else to compare it to. But I am a designer and I have to say the app UI leaves something to be desired. It doesn’t feel intuitive and just gets me frustrated using it. The browser version is much more easier to use and I prefer to sign on through the browser on my iPad rather than the app. I hope the design team at ClickUp will consider redoing the UI in a way that makes it easier to use and understand right away. I don’t enjoy having to really think about how to get to my tasks/subtasks when I have to get them done. As far as features that ClickUp has to offer, I am happy that there are so many ways of customization that can allow for different brains to process information easiest to them. This allows for everyone on the team to work the best way suited to them. This is one of the main reasons why I continue to use ClickUp. Inclusive design rather than exclusive design!

I don't understand who this is for.
The fundamental job of a task/project management application is to be as easy to use as a post-it note, but provide more organization and tracking tools than a post-it note, without getting in the way. Fundamentally, when working, adding or removing a task must be as easy or easier than writing it down on a checklist, or checking a box; because you aren't just competing with MS Project, Trello, and the like: you're competing with *free* lists, spreadsheets, and post-it notes. After ClickUp was recommended to me I've spent over a week trying to understand what it is, how it works, watching videos, etc. And yet every time I open it to add a task, check it off, or see what's next, I find myself starting at perplexing menus with no intuitive way to do what I want, and no discoverable hints at how one would. One particularly awful example is Spaces. You cannot add a task without it being in a Space (which is bad). You cannot add a Space from a draft task, so if you wrote it out, but don't have a space for it, too bad. You have to write it out again after creating the space. What's worse, you can't add a Space from the *Spaces* context! You have to go to the *Discover* context for that, which has an icon that looks more like "Safari". Who would think "I want to add a basic task. I should click Safari, add a Space, then add the task to that Space from a different menu"? Nobody would, and I think that's who this app is for. :(

How ClickUp Helped Us Scale from $650K to $2M in Revenue—And Why We’ve Fully Embraced It
We started managing a client’s $650,000 revenue using ClickUp, which scaled to over $2 million over time. Initially, I wasn’t sold on ClickUp, but as we worked closely with the client, guiding them through the platform and holding their hand until they got the hang of it, I began to appreciate its capabilities. The transition was smooth, and as they mastered it, so did we. What started as a tool we used solely for the client will now become an integral part of our workflow. The rich features and customizable options will not only help us manage projects more efficiently but also increase profitability. Now, ClickUp isn’t going to just save us money—it’s actively going to help us make more. We’ve fully embraced it, and it’s becoming a cornerstone of our business operations.

Please bring back the 1 Click Reminder!
First off, I’m a huge fan of ClickUp. I’ve used every PM / Agile tool in my career. Even used to consult and help large companies implement productivity tools. And I only use ClickUp to run my businesses now and recommend it to everyone. I use the app on desktop, iPad, and phone. #1 thing I use the phone for is to capture reminders throughout the day and process them into tasks on the desktop. Now on iPad I can’t hit R on the keyboard to pop up reminder add, and on iPhone and iPad it’s now 2 clicks to add a reminder. There used to be a button right there I could quickly hit to add reminder. I know you might be thinking one extra click, come on. But when you use ClickUp as much as I do, it’s really annoying. Please bring back the quick add for reminders! And thanks for building such an amazing versatile tool to Get $h!+ done!

What an improvement!
I have tried ClickUp before but could not figure out how to navigate it. Well, this latest version is a whole new app. I just started using the free version and am thoroughly impressed. I have been working on improving my work flow for years. I thought I was almost there with my use of Apple reminders, Google calendar and Evernote. I think ClickUp could be the one tool to replace my current system. I’m still trying to figure out if storing documents will work as well for me. I have contacted ClickUp support three times today with questions and they have responded more quickly than any other vendor I’ve used. And I’m only on the free plan. If you’re like me you owe it to yourself to see what ClickUp can do for you.

Looks cool but….
This looks really cool and I’d love to try it out, but looking at the full picture it doesn’t give me access to my data where I need it and how I want it. I rely on workflows that move with me from device to device and offer different strengths in different places. For example, the iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps of Things are all designed slightly differently, according to the strengths of each environment. It’s not a feature difference, it’s a design difference, and it shows that they’ve dedicated thoughtful design to each one, not just their iPhone app. What that means is that sometime I’ll put one device down and pick up a different one to see and think about my project differently. That Change of mind is incredibly useful, especially when mental flow is getting clogged. The iPad app for ClickUp looks like an awkward upscaling of the iPhone app - there’s no benefit of that vs the iPhone app other than its bigger. And there’s no Mac app at all, which is a deal-killer for me.

I’ve developed temper issues because of clickup - One of the worst designed apps I’ve ever used
This app is really terrible. It looks nice at at its core interacting with it is fine. But the way it’s laid out is so utterly confusing and inefficient it makes everything so much more complicated than it should. I often end up on wild goose chases just trying to do the simplest things. Pretty much anything that should be an easy thing to do instead takes many times the amount of effort to do. It feels like no time or effort was put into UX / UI and they just put all the buttons in random places and called it a day. It also offers zero flexibility/customization which is tough since that’s the main thing that makes clickup good. This is an app I really hope will get redesigned FROM THE GROUND UP. I rarely wish this upon any software. Bonus: the Siri integration is actually really well done and it feels incredible to use (basically interacting with clickup through an Apple-designed system)

I really like it, but I want to love it.
After trying out Todoist, Trello, Monday and Notion, this app has met my needs as far as customization, design, pricing, features and integrations. So far, the free plan serves what I need on the daily. I’m starting to get the hang of the workflow and organization that I set up on. However, I’m noticing that sometimes when I create, edit or even delete certain things like names of Spaces, task statuses and due dates, it takes a really long time to update after saving the changes. Like 2-3 minutes. Sometimes I have to close the app and reopen a few times to see if it ever updates. I’m not loving the widgets either. I have a few more tasks and reminders that should be showing up on the Today widget. It would also be great to have widgets for different Spaces or Docs.

Love it, wish I could do more
I changed jobs last year & at my old job I used ToDoist (paid version) for task management. However once at my new at my new job, I found that ToDoist didn’t have enough capability anymore. I found ClickUp and signed up for a paid account at that point. I pay for task management independently bc my past/current employers didn’t/don’t provide it. I *love* ClickUp because I can create Spaces for different categories of work, then projects within each space. For the projects, I love that we can create tasks, sub-tasks, and checklists. I do way more detailed work now compared to my previous job, so this is huge. I also have tons of follow up to do all the time and ClickUp prevents all that from slipping through the cracks. Since I’m paying for it, not my employer, I’ve also added personal projects to it too in their own space. I only say I wish I could do more in the review title because the nature of my work doesn’t allow me to attach documents to tasks for confidentiality reasons. If I could I’d absolutely use that feature, it would be invaluable. Thanks for a great app/website! 😍

Like notion, but so much better.
I kept seeing people post about notion, so I tried it and loved it at first. However, I immediately got frustrated with many little things. It can get very confusing and most importantly, there’s NO way to simply view all your tasks at once. Extremely frustrating. I found clickup while looking for an alternative and it’s just perfect. It does everything notion does, but is much more user-friendly and allows you to customize your views. So far, I’m impressed. That said, I haven’t been using it for that long yet, so I might update this review at a later point. (Note: I’ve also used Asana (for over a year & Monday (for a few months) and much prefer click up).

Incredible app!! You need this
I very rarely write reviews because they take too long but ClickUp deserves it. I’m a business owner and iOS software engineer who needed a better productivity and project management app. After setting up my click up account in dashboard on the MacOS app, I downloaded the iOS app to give it a try. WOW! It works incredibly well and everything is well thought out for mobile. I believe this was made using Flutter but, for me, it still feels native to iOS. Also the customer service is out of the world. You can actually call and talk to a REAL person if you’re having problems. Kudos to the ClickUp team!

Good except one thing
The app is pretty good, but there is one thing that is very frustrating and ruins the entire experience. This is notifications in comments of tasks. It shows you “new” comments below a line for clearing notifications. But the new and old notifications get all mashed together and appear out of order from oldest to newest. So obviously you want to clear the notifications so you can see them in order and actually read and understand them, but when you tap clear notifications it takes you out of the task and back to the home page. The home page it takes you to doesn’t even have the tab bar, so it’s impossible to get back to the task you were just on! Please fix this bug/feature and the app would be a lot better.

Incompetent and slow
This may work fantastic for some companies who are running a small amount of tasks and require minimal automation. Our company apparently requires over 35k automations for this software to meet our needs. The transition and learning curve required to implement this has been hellish and ultimately if it were my call I would have dropped this software after 3 weeks of use. Even as we were getting settled in and had solved many problems, Clickup pushed a software update that impacted workflow. I was able to revert back to the previous version, but how long can I stick with the old version? They also clearly use slow and overly taxed servers as every task I load feels like I’m running at dialup speeds. Again this may be great for your needs, but if speed of workflow and volume are important to you, this may not be the software for you.

Cannot Login on iPad App
I am currently in the process of opening a small boutique and was looking for a project management style app to easily relay job tasks, reminders, shift details, etc. So far, it’s been a little challenging to understand the flow but the more I tinker with it, the more it makes sense. The main issue I am currently having is the app on my iPad will not let me just login to my account. It keeps trying to make me sign up when I already have. Crazy thing is, I was able to login once and somehow I logged out and have not been able to simply re-login. Can the developers help with this issue? I will keep using the web interface but if I cannot use the mobile, I will have to choose a different route, which I do not want to.

My favorite app
I have used a dozen or so productivity apps over the years trying to find one that has all the functionality that I need. ClickUp is by far the best and hopefully the last app I will ever use. I’m able to track tasks from multiple businesses as well as my personal life in one place. There are tons of customization options to allow it to operate within my own personal workflow. I absolutely love ClickUp. The app itself is phenomenal and the developer’s constant drive to improve the product is uncanny. I can’t say enough about this product. I would recommend to anyone.

Essential
ClickUp is incredible, and constantly working to improve. HOWEVER, one of the strangest ironies has me stuck confused: Why would a project management app prioritize the functions( updates/upgrades) that are most useful/needed? For example: in its current capacity, I can not invite guests to new folders/users to tasks, select slash commands, and/or use the timer feature. Strangest of all, the above mentioned missing functions both work and are available on the legacy app. Just seems to me, regardless of its level or difficult, these are 3 things that need immediate attention.

Suggestion
The Today view widget should also include any overdue tasks. Currently when tasks are overdue they no longer appear in the Today view. This is fine inside the app, because the user can easily see the overdue tasks just below the tasks due today, but in the iOS Today widget overdue tasks disappear and tasks that are out of sight, are out of mind. I would also love to have a widget that lists all tasks even those without a due date. I don’t always need to assigned a due date to every task, but I still would like to be able to quickly view them in a widget rather than having to open up the Clickup app every time.

Don’t do it!
This app is terrible. I wasted so much time trying to get things set up on the web to import to mobile. The mobile app is buggy and doesn’t bring over tasks that you create via the web version. Tried changing the status of a to-do item to “complete” today and it does nothing when I click complete. In trying to see if I even wanted a paid plan, I was creating and organizing tasks and calendars, using available templates as a starting point. Simply downloading templates put me over storage and I can’t even get far enough to see if I want a paid plan because I’m over storage. I’m a certified PMP who has seen countless ads touting how great this program is for project management and after giving it a try I’m shocked at the clear lack of testing and QC. Do not waste your time!

🎵 Nothing Compares To You... 🎵
I’m a solo business owner who wears all the hats 🎩 and who enjoys weaving technology 🔌 into my workflow. Because of my love for apps, I have literally tried each of these > Monday, Asana, Wunderlist, Notion, Trello, Evernote. Click-Up allows me to manage my daily tasks, Quarterly Goals while documenting my progress each month. It’s very customizable and if you are familiar with any of the other apps I listed earlier, you will find some familiar ways to display your projects. (ie: if you like Trello, you will love the “board view” that can also be viewed as a list, Calendar, Gnatt, Timeline, etc) My favorite part of Click-Up is their mobile app 😍 because I can literally do everything I can from the computer on my phone. They continue to improve their application which has empowered me to hit some major milestones in my new business. I highly recommend you give Click-Up a try to see how it evolves your workflow.

Desktop version is great, but this app is terrible and mostly useless
I love using ClickUp for me and my team on the desktop version, but I do not understand all the great ratings, this app is trash. There is basically only one main view that you can use - all tasks by calendar date, you can’t filter by almost anything at all, you can’t filter by the people assigned, I can never get the results I expect when searching, I can’t sort or change views, I literally feel like I can’t do anything at all in this app. I can’t even find the newest tasks that I created while inside the app. The tool and the desktop website version are great, this app is horrible and actually makes me feel real anger anytime I try to open and use it.

Brilliant organization; crappy software
I’ve been using clickup for a year and a half now for my business. The way conceptual organization of tasks, documents, Gantt charts, and everything else is far better than Jira or Monday. However, their software development is garbage. Something is always broken. For example, right now whenever I try to edit a document on mobile, the screen just goes blank. Been like this for weeks. The deep links on mobile. Also don’t take you to the right page in a document. On desktop, the navigation is ill-conceived – there’s no back button and so you’re constantly navigating in circles. as soon as someone copies this idea and simply execute it with a better CTO, we’ll switch.

My first time…
ClickUp was the first project management software I ever tried and opened my eyes to how modern software could transform my work/life balance. I’ve come back after trying a lot of others and while there are some great ones out there that do so many different things, ClickUp is the one I’ll use to manage my first novel and first book of essays. it’s remarkable how fast it’s grown in such a short amount of time. bravo to the entire team! You guys have done a wonderful job and I can’t wait to see where you go from here :)

Like! Needs a couple corrections
I love ClickUp - primarily use for work and the computer / internet browser version, but use the mobile phone app on the go, computer getting repaired this week so also using on the iPad. I’ve noticed in the new home/inbox section - the TODAY list contains things for today but also for tomorrow (please fix), then tomorrow items also showing up on the NEXT (or whatever it’s called) list. Also noticed it doesn’t seem possible to manage or create recurring tasks within the app - would love this feature in the app! Overall ClickUp has helped me be much more productive and organized. Thanks for a great product!

Lots of good tools, but confusing to set up
I am a mother to an adult daughter who still needs a lot of support, a daughter to an aging father, and a physician doing contract work. I am inundated with more daily chores than I can get done. I can make the to do lists, but sorting them by urgent and important and gauging what I can and should do with my limited time is an ongoing problem. So far ClickUp seems to have the tools I need, but figuring out how to use it in a pattern that meets my needs is still challenging. The learning curve has seemed quite steep. They have tons of excellent learning tools, but so far the set ups I have found don’t reflect my needs. Still a work in progress.

Excellent mobile interface
I really like how this version of the ClickUp app is taking the program’s experience to a more mobile adapted interface. While there are still plenty of features to be implemented from the roadmap, the app is off to a great start. The legacy 2.0 app was the web version mobilized. While this interface keeps the same functions, but makes it easier to precisely change task information and data in spaces. Well done, looking forward to implementations from the roadmap.

Cannot create custom fields within the app
As stated in the title, one of the main functions that I use ClickUp for is to create custom fields and be able to add new information into ClickUp as needed. However, when one goes the create a new column, there is no ability to create a new custom field. If there is the ability to create a custom field within the app, it is so hidden that it becomes infuriating to find. On top of that, it feels like the app is missing far to many basic features of ClickUp that it makes me not want to use the app. I don’t understand how the browser experience is so good but the app experience is so terrible. Hopefully, this is something that will receive some serious updates or I may have to consider using a different platform.

App is restricting
First of all I love ClickUp. However, the app is very limiting and boxes you in. When I am in the field with my iPad I find myself logging into the web app before the installed app. The app does not allow you to view timelines, Gant, or tables. We use these features daily and they are critical for our projects so the app becomes useless and more of an inconvenience for us. Hopefully the development team can find a way to port these features over. I know it’s not a simple task, but it would be nice to see these features sooner rather than later. All in all ClickUp is great! The only reason the rating is 3 star is due to the app being so limiting.

Lacks simple functionality
I love the browser version of click-up but I hate that it’s basically useless on my phone. I have a lot of spaces with similar workflows and tasks, and when I use the app, I can’t tell which space a task belongs to. So if I have the same task in multiple lists and in multiple spaces, it’s so hard for me to differentiate which task belongs to which space. I can only view this in the browser. This is a major design flaw for people who have organized their spaces by clients and are using a similar workflow throughout multiple spaces. And update on this should be prioritized ASAP. Glad I can at least log into a browser on my iPad but I take my phone everywhere, so having a working phone app is crucial for my productivity.

AWESOME but only one thing
I have been using ClickUp for just 1 week and I feel like I can work with this for another 10 years. I have been researching and I suddenly came across a problem which is ClickUp doesn’t have a 2-way sync with iCloud Calendar which made me really annoyed. As a big Apple user, ClickUp should add a 2-way sync with iCloud Calendar, not only Google Calendar. ClickUp deserves a 5 star review if only they add this feature. Overall, GREAT!! Everyone in the world should know about this app! Highly recommend for busy people that has many things in life to do.

It's good but...
My work decided use this app and all of us workers are using our phones and not a computer. It's good in keeping track of what we do but there's one big issue that all of us have now. I'm getting TONS of emails and I don't know how to turn them off. Can I turn it off from my phone somehow? I already get enough notifs about what I'm assigned but I get emails about everyone else's assignments plus my own. Its just too much and I can't let my mailbox get full but the app just sends so many emails I have to go into my email and manually delete all of them and I don't want to receive them in the first place.

UI Issues + Bugs + 3.0 Beta Timeline
Mobile App interface is too large and doesn’t take enough use of the screen real estate. You should be able to see everything related to a task on one screen without having to tap on 3 different tabs. I have to manually refresh constantly since the app doesn’t sync itself. They’ve been teasing ClickUp 3.0 for over 6 months but the Beta is still nowhere to be seen even for users who have been on the waitlist since day one. What’s going on at ClickUp? I want to be a fan and I left Asana for you but need reliability and honest communications.

why relaunch an app that doesn’t do everything the previous one did?
I love Clickup, and I use it all day long, every day. I was excited to see a new mobile app because there are a few issues with the current one over using the Windows client or online version. But right now, this app is unusable to me because it doesn’t have some of the backbone I need to plan my day. I must have the inbox function. I don’t want to be hobbled by an app rollout over months. Maybe this should be called a beta version or playground to test rollout. It’s not ready for prime time! I uninstalled and went back to the previous version, waiting for everything to be in place before I get fooled again.

The app is terrible!
Not only can you not register via the app/a mobile device (you can only register via a computer because it’ll just reopen the app otherwise), it doesn’t show sub-projects or the calendar option which is only available via a computer. Then when you try to upload an attachment and select ‘Choose Image,’ it only shows videos to select. There’s already a ‘Choose Video’ option. I don’t want a video, I want an image. I have to select ‘Take Photos’ and retake whatever it was I wanted to submit, so any edits you want to do, forget them, because they aren’t happening. ‘Choose File’ only allows Cloud images. This app is a hassle to figure out and use.

Search for listing is still missing
This app is good, seems faster but missing some essential items. Searching for listing name does not return anything, currently is for tasks. I have many lists and some tasks have the same name, so there is no easy way for me to use this app. The legacy app allows sewrching for list name. I would think this should be available in the new app. I am giving 5 stars for continuous improvement on this new app, please respond and provide timeline for this. Thanks.

Where is the ability to see today’s tasks?
It pains me to rate this app at 2 stars because I adore the web and Mac apps - but I just don’t understand how you can release a to-do list app without the ability to see a simple summary of today’s tasks! That is literally the #1 most useful thing about a mobile to-do list app. This app is worthless to me without it. I tried for 5 minutes to use it as-is by scrolling through all of my tasks and looking for what’s due today before giving up in frustration and re-downloading the legacy ClickUp. I see that the ability to do this is in-progress on the roadmap - but truly, I cannot use this app until that’s available.

Too many missing features at launch
I adore Click Up; so much so that I encourage all my clients to use it. A 1-star review hurts. But the new app just wasn’t ready for launch. For now, I must recommend the legacy app. I’ve been patient but as is the new app is unusable and we really need a mobile solution that offers more of the features the desktop app and browser portal provide. And unfortunately, the iOS browser solution is unworkable because it pushes you to the app. The icing on the cake is that you can’t even log in from the iPad app to vote on the new features you most like to see; and the road map is a bare bones to-do list with practically no useful information. So I would have to go to the computer, navigate to the app roadmap, and the navigate to the features hub to log in to vote / comment on proposed new features. ClickUp has been the gold standard in useful features, easy UI, and phenomenal customer service - but this new direction and attitude really has me worried about the future. Are they growing too big too fast to maintain that level of excellence?

Where have you been all my life ClickUp
I have been using it for a couple weeks now. So excited. As an agency owner it really makes me want to document all of my processes in more detail in a way that can be replicated across all of my clients with automations. I am so looking forward to where we go with this and seeing that so many in our mentorship groups are making the change I may as well I think there will be more niche training coming!

Buggy and under features - avoid
App is buggy and under featured. Many critical options from desktop don’t make it to this watered down mobile version. Those features that do make it are buggy. Basic things like updating a task to being due today and it still shows up as due yesterday even on refresh. When you do the same task on desktop it works. This is a small example, but basic things like data getting updated on items doesn’t happen consistently correctly. If I leave ClickUp, this app will likely be the reason why. Hopefully it sees some basic usability and stability improvements with all the cash ClickUp has raised

Great tool
I’ve used just about every productivity software out there and I love ClickUp. It has the right blend of tools and flexibility— I came to ClickUp after spending a year trying to make Notion work for me (it didn’t). After just a few moments with ClickUp, I knew I had found the right tool. Only request? A bit more open-doc features like Notion. I’d love to create a doc in the Space/Folder and link task lists, comments, etc.

App so different from browser view
I am new to ClickUp and I made my workflows and stored my PFDs via web browser. I was so happy with the way everything worked, and then I downloaded the app on my iPhone and iPad. How are they SO DIFFERENT? I couldn’t even navigate the app, it looked and felt so different. Nothing was in the same place. I couldn’t see how to access my boards (seriously, how do I see them?!). I want everything to have the same feel! I do not have the time it takes to learn how to use a different interface for the same application. It sounds a little silly doesn’t it? Having 2 different interfaces for the same application. ClickUp, I’m going to need you to do better. For now, I will continue to only use the web browser issue until the app looks and responds exactly like the web browser version. Signed, Disappointed P.S. Let me know when the app responds and looks like the web browser version so I can download it again.

Browser version is okay, mobile lacks features and buggy
To put it simply there are things this app lacks that the browser handles. For example I can’t view tags in a list view… I have an iPad Pro and there is just so much white space to be utilized where I should be able to add columns. When editing a document the data doesn’t sync either from time to time which is super frustrating. I edited a document for about 30 minutes, hopped over to the desktop version and POOF! It was gone. I checked version history and it didn’t even save a version history… Come on.

Use the other ClickUp App!
I’ve been using the other ClickUp app (ClickUp 2.0) with my job for weeks now. I received an email from ClickUp saying they had all ALL NEW updated app. I figured it couldn’t hurt. The other app was good, but not great. But this one is TERRIBLE! There is nothing there!? You can’t do anything on it. There’s no “Me Mode.” You can’t organize/ compartmentalize any of your task lists. I.e - Inbox, In Progress, Waiting, Completed. It just lists everything in one looooong list. Seemingly, without the ability to put turn in any order. If just defaults to most recent. If they’re going to add more items, ok great. But they released a WORSE app before it was ready. I’ll be deleting it until it’s ready for public consumption.

No Go on the APP - terrible design
It’s not intuitive at all. Could do a full stop right there and it would be enough. But you can’t even edit the important things you need to edit. And when I just try to go to the web browser, Chrome, to use on my iPhone or iPad, it defaults right back to the app which is... in a word? Disabling. Why bother with the App then? Ya gotta fix this quick! This will be a no-go with many. Maybe not now with so many people working from home and can just jump on their computer, but I when things open back up more, I’m gonna need to access my project management tools on my phone in more than read-only mode. Because that’s about what it boils down to right now.

Can’t get access to my Teams work space, even after being sent an invitation a couple of times
For some reason I am just having one problem after another and getting added to a team I am working with. The link they sent to the whole team to get added for some reason was just taking me back to my workspace. So then I had the leader of the group send me another link, but now it’s saying the workspace doesn’t exist or I don’t have access. There was another team member that said that there was an incorrect sub ID or something. The whole point of the app is to collaborate, so they really need to take a hard look at this.

Everything I Need
it’s a great app! I love using it! I use the desktop version, but the only thing missing from the mobile version, is the widget feature. Looking forward to when that’s implemented so I can see immediate tasks or a project view without having to open up the app. It’ why I have considered other apps that has the widget feature vs clickup to use on my phone. Update: Widgets are in and now so am I! Shoutout to the hardworking developers and team at Clickup!
