CoinMe looks good in purchasing and withdrawing bitcoin instantly (trading). But yet your company, websites and app claims your fees are low. I honestly got shocked when I lost $400+ in purchasing $2,700 of bitcoin and sending to another wallet address, I couldn’t find this reasonable. I like the app as it’ll be very convenient, pleasant and useful for your customers if you strengthen your (in app purchases and it’s fee) put legit computerized miners (blockchain) to automatically calculate fees when purchasing/sending out. Sensibly fees should be automatically charged in every transaction with the help of (fees calculator or other useful options like (increase/lower fees). Most apps get lost and steal money from fees cutovers don’t understand. Please work on this issue.

STAY AWAY! Will Take Your Money

I want to leave this review to let everyone know to stay far away from this app. All the replies by Coinme to the 1 star reviews are just for show. They have the worst customer service and will not respond! I’ve had a case open since November of last year for $400 that they took from me and they haven’t responded once. I then filed with the Better Business Bureau and they wouldn’t respond to them either, so the BBB had to close my case with them. Two weeks ago I opened a second case about my open first case and they have yet to respond to that one either. There are better companies to use, do not use Coinme. They will take your money and do nothing to help you get it back. STAY FAR FAR AWAY. I see the developer responded on where to go to get help with an issues on their site. Apparently they didn’t read my review as I know where to go. I have 2 cases open with you, the issues are your lack of response (literally zero response), the fact that you took my money 93 days ago & still have my money.

Please read: beware of this company

So yesterday I came across this app and sent some coins to here to my ltc wallet address. They never showed up in the coin me app. I checked the transaction thinking maybe it takes more confirmations and it is slow today. No it was fully confirmed and then shockingly it appears the coins were sent from that address out to two separate addresses. Of course none of this is reflected in the coin me app it simply shows no activity. Support gave me generic responses and told me the proper department is looking into it. I started looking around and disturbingly found many people online posting reviews with the exact same story as me. This really baffles me so apparently all these people are sending crypto into their coin me wallets and not getting the money and it’s being seemingly stolen and sent elsewhere yet this shady company continues to operate like nothing is wrong. It’s not right and I’m writing this review with the thinking that maybe it will stop just 1 person like me from sending coins here.

I tried to login to my account and it shows incorrect password or gmail and I tried to reset the password it shows password reset not specified for this user I don’t know what i have done wrong please I need my account back because I still have much to redeem there and please don’t try to block my account again I really the account please….you have my full star

Due to recent increased responsiveness, including a reduction of fees attached to a stalled transfer, from the developer that resolved the past issue, and subsequently, I experienced immediate successful redemption of vouchers and transfers, I have changed my rating from 1 to 4. The reason that I did not give a rating of 5 is that I am once again experiencing stalled transfer that I initiated last night. Now we are at around 14 hours or so, without my transfer reaching its destination where it is critically needed. The reality that no support is available between Friday evening and Monday morning is definitely an inconvenience of some magnitude. If I am paying fees for a transfer, should I not expect a timely delivery? Please help me out with this.

Another crypto scam!!!

Deposited some dogecoin earlier today, went smooth as all my transactions do.. right? So, I figured I’d deposit some Matic I had.. well… still hasn’t been deposited into my account. Verified on the block chain, correct receiving address.. this isn’t my first transaction, it wasn’t a mistake on my end. Just for the sake of it, I deposited another small amount and guess what. Same issue!!! No email contact to be found, a chat that doesn’t work and phone that never gets picked up.. this has to be a scam!!! Tried to send my doge back to my metamask, tried to sell it.. neither worked. I get an insufficient funds error!!!!! COMPLETE SCAM STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! Cards don’t save in the app, magically. They tried to take money out of my bank account when I tried to sell $1.00 of doge also!!!

Absolute Criminals

You work hard for every at you make, and COINME will snatch any dollar they can get from you. These people are absolutely criminals. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO COINME! I purchased $200 worth of bitcoin 3 months ago, the price was stable around $20,000/BTC. I tried to redeem my coupon, but my phone number was somehow no-longer attached to my CoinStar- bitcoin account. (I’m assuming when CoinMe took over the BTC portion of Coinstar’s bitcoin sales, my phone number was not included in the transfer of data) So my account isn’t associated with my phone number, I tried contacting support for over a month before I finally got someone to reply, and I was told that my account is being closed for “fraudulent activities” and that I would not be allowed to purchase bitcoin or redeem my voucher. So I verified all of the documents I needed and sent them to CoinMe so they could reimburse me. It is now 3 months after the initial purchase of bitcoin. ($200@20,000/BTC) I get an email saying my reimbursement has been approved and that I will be receiving a check for $98. Bitcoin is currently selling for $16,000. These people will scam you out of your money one way or another. Do not use these crooks.

Frustrated

I was doing good working with Coinme and going through the machine and then doing the purchases. Everything has been fine up until this week now all of a sudden I forgot my password in the app and I cannot reset it because it’s giving weird messages that say that I cannot do anything with it because of the web well I’m not the web designer. I’m not the app designer and I don’t know how I’m supposed to fix this to get through the cloud to get to you guys I have sent support email. I have tried to call and I also have contacted Apple and now I’m leaving a review here, four days of trying to get in and I’m not getting anything. I would leave a screenshot of the error message except there’s no place for a photo.

Withholding ATM Funds After all documents provided

I submitted a ticket after my cash pick showed an error message at the ATM. As suggested by Coinme I went to a second ATM to withdraw and I got the same error message..Immediately reached out to support and provided all requested screenshots displayed on ATM screen , photo of my receipts and locations where I attempted to withdraw. It’s been 4 days and no response..I called the support number as well (left a Voicemail since you can’t speak to a human). I’ll be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau soon If I don’t get a response, this is ridiculous - Ticket # 8322 Here we are nearly 2 weeks later and still no response..these people are thieves. I will no longer use Coinme for any of my crypto transactions.

Worst customer service experience ever

I was having an issue with my account is just to adjust my phone number from one account to another. I bought bitcoin at a kiosk. I was trying to access my account and it wouldn’t let me. I tried getting customer service for a week now I work during the week so with the business hours were always conflicting. Today is a workday that I had off so I was going to resolve this issue but apparently there’s nobody further customer service available from 6 AM Pacific standard time to 7 PM Pacific standard time and it’s 10:26 AM and there’s no one that can help me the worst app ever I would never recommend this for anyone who is trying to trade bitcoin?

An absolute scam with no customer service to help

I have never dealt with a worse organization. My fiancé was scammed of $1,000 via the assistance of this company and they haven’t returned a single call; responded to a single ticket, message, or chat sent; and they also locked me out of my account when I tried to help her. I can easily prove it’s me with identification and other metrics needed but they won’t even get back to me. I have contacted law enforcement and will be in contact with lawyers if we don’t here back. Unless they take steps to rectify this situation (which I haven’t merely received a simple reply), I could never recommend them. It’s a scam app and company with zero customer service.

Warning!

WARNING! BEWARE! This entire organization is a fraudulent scam. This is not a legitimate company. They are thieves committing robbery. I am out $1,500 that they stole from me when I had BTC sent to my Coinme address. Confirmed on blockchain and even confirmed it reached my address on the blockchain but has never shown up in my Coinme account. There is also absolutely no possible way to reach these crooks. Their “customer support” is a fake platform. The messaging and ticket system is all designed to make you think someone is on call to help you, but it’s just a bot with automated replies that NEVER connects you with a live person. There are also no responses to email and there is an automated message on their 800# telling you they don’t take phone calls any longer. Their published corporate address is a mail service office in Seattle. It’s easy to buy the crypto at kiosks…however, now what will you do to retrieve those funds when you want to sell and cash out, send or receive? STAY AWAY! BUYER BEWARE! PASS ON THIS APP!

Can’t access my account

I bought a Bitcoin at one of your ATMs , and I tried to log in to my account. And it said it’s the the wrong password. When I know it is the right password. I tried to reset my password. And it said this user is not supported for reset password. And I’ve done this several times and it keeps saying the same thing.I tried to chat via help line . There’s no where where it states to reset password. So I called the phone number on the voucher and nobody is answering? I’ve left several messages. This is 48 hrs and no call back. Garbage! Beware!

Be very careful! Once your cash hits the kiosk, Coinme can do whatever it feels like with your money. I deposited $100 and used my work number instead of my personal number on accident, now Coinme is saying “sorry about your luck, it’s ours now”. I got my wallet stolen from my truck and my is was in it... but Coinme already verified me with with my Id a long time ago... now they need to do it again?? Just because I sued a different phone number. Oh and their support agent was a disaster... literally said to me. “What don’t you understand about what I just said”. He literally said that and other in professional things....

Why is it so difficult to update my phone number

My phone got stolen few days ago and I blocked the number so that I can get a new number, I then purchased coins for with my new number, while I was trying to reedem it, it didt go through. I was told to update my account with my new number. It’s been almost a week now and am still trying to update my account. I don’t normally do this but your customer service need a lot of improvement. Bad services

This the most frustrating company to ever deal with. A friend bought some coins but can’t redeem because the your company refused to verify the account. Despite all efforts made and all details that have been provided you still won’t allow to redeem the voucher which is verify frustrating. This is bad customer service. Be cautious! Red flags!

I purchased over $900 worth of Bitcoin at a local Coinstar machine. I downloaded the Coinme app, verified my information and redeemed my voucher. It’s been over an hour now and the assigned bitcoin wallet shows 0 transactions (not even pending confirmation). I’ve tried sending 2 different transactions and haven’t received any emails or notifications. This is not how normal block chain transactions work and it’s extremely alarming that my coinme account would show the +$900 balance with none of the attempted transactions and nothing on the block chain can be verified.

Frustrating

I bought Vouchers but I can’t redeem it cos coinme blocked my account. I tried to unblock the account but they won’t do it. I opened another account with a different phone number. The least you could do what to help me change the number on Purchase they won’t do that either. How do I explain that I lost more than $7,500 on voucher that I cannot redeem. And they’re not giving options for reimbursement. This is a sham, Avoid Coinme. I repeat Avoid this app. They just wanna steal your money. Wish o could write a review without any star.

Mobile phone number….

I tried to login but they asked for my mobile number which I only have one. Once I put my number in, I get an error message that says that it is already with another account! This app needs to be updated so we don’t have this message. I don’t have any time to head to my nearest Vons and buy bitcoin at the kiosk. Needs more work

1st off the app and website will definitely delete your debit cards 💳. I had 2 cards and they have been cleared off my account and I never had issues. 2 sorry customer service with calling and chatting 💬. MoneyGram dose not work and ppl are not trained on how to do it from the teller side and it’s always down. If things worked this would be a good app and crypto wallet. Need more ways to transfer money and crypto and lower gas fees. Will have to find a app like this that is easier plus safe to do local business.

Worthless. You can't trade crypto with this app.

The interface is simple which is a plus, but if you have money in bitcoin, and you want to move it to another currency you need to pay out at a Moneygram location and then use a second transaction to put the money back in. There needs to be a way to sell your currency, and just have it in your account then when the market is right for you, you buy what you want without involving a trip to a grocery store.

Do not use this app !

They have bots for customer service . I used the coinstar machine to add to my Coinme account near 4,000 dollars . Then all of a sudden my account is locked ! I can not login and can’t even reset my password keeps saying error . I wrote a ticket complaint about my money being in their app and can’t login at all . Convenient but horrible customer support

I have had several issues with sending money out of my wallet. I have tried the live chat and several times waited for almost an hour in the queue to speak to an agent only to get booted off right before my turn. I have never actually spoken to an agent and I’m skeptical there actually is one.

Stolen funds

I sold some Litecoin on 2/9, with funds sent to my debit card. It says it is still pending, my card never got the funds, but my Litecoin are gone. The only response from support is “we sent the funds. “ they can not provide me any proof other then them saying they sent it. I’ve contacted my bank and they have said no transfer was ever attempted. Just 100% theft from them. No matter how many times I ask for proof, they provide none

This app is so nonsense.

I tried redeeming a voucher, it says congratulations you’ve successfully redeemed 420 bitcoins but I can’t even see the Bitcoins on my wallet app which is the weirdest thing any app can do. Aside that the app should be able to let you change number from just incase you lost your number. I can’t retrieve back my old number from AT and T and I don’t even live in Washington anymore this is just sickening. Don’t USE!!!!

No customer support

If you want to deal with a company that has no customer support, this is the one you want. No phone support since they are “100% remote” which I assume means remote workers don’t have phones. They tell you to use their “live” chat but it’s a bot. They send generic emails assuring they will deal with your issue but haven’t dealt with a request I made in Nov. I’ve sent multiple emails. Nothing. Rated F by Better Business Bureau.

Let's be real, you've always wanted to grab some bitcoin while at the grocery store. Now you can with Coinme partner Coinstar…NOT! But beware scams are happening with scammers using Coinstar to send bitcoin thru the Coinme exchange! It happened to me! I realized it was a scam too late! As soon as you hit enter the transaction is irreversible. There should be a 48-72 hour confirmation / delay period to combat this illegal activity by scammers.

Don’t use this app

I recently just visited a coin me merchant and I put my money in the machine then I got the voucher to go ahead and sign up to redeem my bitcoin all of a sudden they can’t scan my ID then it’s saying that they can’t open the account for me so I just lost money. Worse app ever don’t recommend. And don’t waste your time trying to get in contact with customer service they going to send you straight to voicemail.

The app works fine most time. I want to see an update that allows for biometric recognition of face ID for login. Would make using this app more useful. There’s a bug in the app that during confirmation of coins purchase from Coinme machine, I have to hit confirm twice before it is recognized and confirmed.

Unable to access my account

Every time I try to log in it says “phone verification error.” The first time I tried to use a Bitcoin atm it gave me this message and I tapped “ok.” And then it started working. Now I am trying to send that Bitcoin to another address and cannot get past the “phone verification error” message. Can’t even contact support because it won’t let me login for the same error.

Worst customer service I’ve experience with an app

I have been waiting 2 days now for a redemption of a voucher that didn’t hit my wallet. Customer service stated they expedited the situation. Absolutely no reason the situation hasn’t been rectified. Not to mention that I can’t even get into the app with my login information from the website. The response time is 4 days! Don’t waste your time with them.

Can’t redeem Voucher

I purchased btc from a coinme atm 3 days ago. I made an account verified everything ID etc…. When I go to get my wallet address or even redeem my voucher coin me is not creating a wallet for me. It’s just spinning . I talked to customer support and they said coinme has been down and IT is working on issue!!!!!!! Now I’m reading and seeing this happens a lot!!!!! I want my btc! THEY STEAL FROM YOU

My account was locked. I deposited money in twice and then my account was locked. I was not notified of any reason why and the AI chat was no help. You will not reach a person. I submitted 3 tickets and was told the times it was the wrong ticket when it was the AI that had me do it. I then submitted 2 others and was told it’s resolved. Still can’t log in. They are no help and will take your money.
