College Basketball Dynasty Sim

I do enjoy playing this game and can play it for hours with the amount of recruiting needed to build and keep a year to year contender. One of my biggest problems with the game is that it’s very PG dependent for team success. No other position on the court seems to hold as much value in this game. In my first season, my PG was All Conference Player of the Year and All Conference First Team, with should lead one to believe he was one of the best PG’s in the country. However, he went #11 in the draft, only for me to find out the the 10 picks in front of him were ALL PG’s. SG’s are 90 overall and average 7 ppg, as well as every other position and PG’s run the game with everyone one averaging 24 ppg. Just feels pointless in recruiting other positions when I know if my PG leaves, no one else will fill the scoring gap even with the rest of the lineup are 90+’s

This game is not a bad game if your interested in the challenge of recruiting and building your college team to be champions. I’ve just finished my first season with my team and the recruiting was not bad. The off season threw me off quite a bit, especially the player transfers part. Teams bidding on the players is kind of unrealistic. Having the player randomly generate new teams including the current team would be better. Adding a recruiting section during the off-season linking the time used for player transfers and recruiting to the same week would add somewhat of a challenge as well. Especially if you don’t get all committed spots filled until the off-season like I did playing with a weaker team. The season overall was really good, but making the layout similar to the football version would make it better.

This is a fun game but has some bugs. The recruiting could be improved by having repeat all calls for the week instead of separate calls. You should be able to see the letter grades for the overall offense and defense after scouting once. There should be a section on player and team stats where you can see player stats for your team and the nation. Same with team stats. There should also be a separate roster page where you can see your whole team together. Players should develop more than 0-1 every year. Potential should also be random for every overall not around the same as the starting overall.

It is a good game but I have a list of suggestions. 1. Transfer issues, in the transfer market you are originally given a budget of 350 points and every player goes for around 600 points so you are priced out of everybody 2. Slow player development, even if you start with the player development trait your players will only improve by 0-2 points which is really slow. 3. Recruiting, it would be nice if on the screen with the list of players if you could see each players offense defense and overall if scouted, 4. It would be nice if after the initial scout for offense/defense to see the overall offense/defense letter grade approximate 5. The repeat last weeks call button doesn’t work, there should also to be a button to repeat all of last weeks calls with one button 6. At the end of the season awards, it shows the general awards but you should also be able to look at the awards screen for each conference Thank you It’s a great game but these improvements would be nice to see

To be honest, I really only downloaded this game because I loved the other two Jaco games, and let me say, this one turned out to be the runt of the litter. This game is waaaay too confusing. There are way too many divisions in full mode and not enough in simple mode. And the teams, don’t even get me started on the teams, the thing is, I can’t find any of my favorite teams in career mode. I’m just like, “Oh well where is Duke or Gonzaga or Baylor or any of those teams?” And I can’t find any of them because 1. All the teams are heavily disguised so Jaco doesn’t get sued, and 2. SO ARE THE DIVISIONS! So not only can I not find the teams I want, but I can’t find any of the divisions they’re in, either. You should’ve just stuck with Box Office Sim or College Football, Jaco.

It’s great only thing is I wish there were less teams, maybe the teams in the football sim, and when I export the save instead of the names of the players/coaches it’s all numbers and letters….other than that it’s pretty good.

It’a incredibly frustrating to be the #1 team for a recruit and then they don’t commit to you... like that’s just broken. Starting out as a bad team is also very hard and I’m pretty sure it is impossible. Recruiting needs an overhaul as well as progression. In football I was able to take a bad team to become good but can’t in this game. It would also be nice to be able to see conferences for national tournament results the week after advancing. To continue, the coach progression also needs a complete overhaul, 250 points just to bump one star one point??? Also an edit coach stat and played stat feature would go a long way and actually make the game playable.

I have really enjoyed the football and now basketball versions of the game. However there is an issue with recruiting for the basketball game. You can’t use repeat last call for whatever reason it shows the prospect has been called but doesn’t give a breakdown of how many points gained so manually doing the call each round takes away but not enough to lower the rating. NOW IM WAITING FOR COLLEGE BASEBALL!!!

This game is enjoyable most of the time. But when you try to take a bottom the rankings team and build a dynasty, you can’t. It doesn’t matter how good you do in the second year you get fired. The first year I took over(the year I couldn’t recruit) we did terrible, but I was starting to build a team. But I couldn’t because I was fired after 2 years. I think if the game was a little more forgiving than maybe it would be better

I like the fact that you guys implement feedback from your reviews, I hope you get more downloads, the game is fun. I’d just say improve the recruitment feature a little more so its unique. Make it so you dont lose progress if your phone dies or shuts off. Add some more details to the games, maybe like a live sim or the ability to call timeouts and call plays. Add player stats Have the ability to create defensive or offensive plays. A create a team feature, where you could start from scratch. I believe that with these features added, the game could be great, ill stay updated!

I like the idea of the game and I think there’s some areas for improvement of course. My biggest issue is the interface is a huge departure from what I was used to with CFB. I believe CFB has the better interface personally. I will continue to support you and your work though. I feel like you put a lot of work into your games and as a consumer that means a lot.

Really great game, my only problem is the stats. No matter what overall or who else is on the court, the PG’s always dominate the game. Would love to see some of my other guys get good stats and perform based off their overall. Other than that, love this game!

There’s a lot of little things that need to be fixed for the game to improve. For example, my team had 19 steals and the other team had 11 turnovers which ended up being less than my teams. Just little problems like that.

Player progression is very slow in off season even for 5 star players. Anther issue is no matter how good the players on a team the player with the most points-per-game is always the point guard which is not realistic. Other than that its a good game.

One of the best games ever, just wish it was easier to recruit. Also manage the games more, EX. You load into the game and you get a situation, and you have to make a decision based on the situation. Good game though.

Players barely progress in off season. You can’t try and rebuild a bad program due to the flaws in the recruiting and player progression. This is the least comprehensive of the CBB dynasty apps out there. Has some interesting ideas but not executed or developed in meaningful ways. If the game had just came out I would be optimistic that updates would solve some obvious bugs and enhance features which are lacking but that’s not the case. Disappointing.

I’m going to keep this short. I think this game just needs a revamp just like the college football game got. The game is good and all but I think there can be more added and a better navigation system.

Great Game but literally all 60 Draft Picks are Point Guards every single year. The Player of the Year in every Conference is a Point Guard. It makes the game bad. And the game randomly chooses to just stop tracking my coaching stats so my record doesn’t reflect the games and championships I have won.

I love this format. The only thing that I would change is the coach upgrading system. It’s slow and tedious. I would suggest just upgrading a category and all the skills in that category go up by 1.

Having a strong PG is still super important to team success. Also, facing a team with a strong PG sometimes caused my team with a better PG and overall team to lose. It still seems to be the only position that matters in this game I really enjoyed the aesthetics and recruiting process.

I was really enjoying this game. I started off as a coach at a middling power 5 school and then recruited well and took the team to the final four. In that same year I brought in the number 1 recruiting class in the country, and then I got fired??? That doesn’t make any sense. Will not be playing again

It’s a good start but it does have bugs. The repeat call button doesn’t work, and I had a season where I had 1- 5* recruit and 4 - 4* recruits but it would only let me keep 4 of the recruits so it ended up taking away the 5* kid.

I love this game but I’ve noticed there is a major issue with the point guards. Every game my leading scorer the point guard followed by the backup point guard. At the end of the year the only people that get drafted are point guards. All 60 picks were point guards, guess the rockets small ball style really took off

Great game love everything about it. However, I’m in season nine and trying to advance past week 1 and it won’t continue. It is just the ring continuing to turn. Other than that amazing game.

Make a college baseball game it would be really fun with things like convincing high profile high school prospects to come to you instead of the draft and many other things.

I just wanted to say I am very glad you came out with another game. The game was really fun but I got fired even though my team exceeded expectations and I also had the 19th ranked recruiting class.

I can’t stop play this game is amazing and it has so much More potential the main thing I wish they would add is in game coaching so you can really lead your team to victory

1. I’m pretty sure steals and turnovers are mixed up. One game, my team had 19 steals and 19 turnovers, and the other team had 7 steals and 7 turnovers. 2. Every team talent is a 50 currently 3. Not a glitch, but I think a stat page for my team could be added. Also can add recruit class ranking for the entire season like there is the CFB dynasty sim. Good game though. I enjoy playing it. Edit: another glitch I see is positive numbers when I’m doing recruiting for the top 3-5 teams

I’m having a bug after the recent update with saving. It will just keep loading your save and the only way to close out of it is by fully closing the app.

I’m tired of losing my saves because I forget this is the only iPhone game I need to manually save or I lose my progress. Otherwise, one of the better simulators out there.

I was in my second year and won the conference championships but got fired. I also had the number 5 recruiting class please fix.

Please fix the transfer portal, it’s impossible to get a player. It. Always goes to 625 on the bids and seems to be on a timer per second a bid.

Good game was fun for first few seasons but whenever I tried to go into season 7 it didn’t let me I don’t know if it was my phone or the game doesn’t allow you to go on. Either way a great game

Would be cool for a baseball version. Both Basketball and Football are some of the most played games on my phone.

Is a very good game is fun and could play for hours but there are some bugs other wise good (Please make a baseball version)

The only people who can really score are PG’s. When the draft comes they are the only people who get picked, other than that I love this game.

Barely played it but I love the layout of it. You need to add more of what is in the basketball into the football simulation game. Game definitely needs some improvement in the scouting it’s a little difficult but it I like the idea of it.

CFB is one of my favorite games, and this one is too. I think there needs to be an auto save feature though.

I’m a few seasons now I can’t simulate any more it just spins but overall great game

There’s a glitch where I lose games out of nowhere even when I simulate one week and I win. So it makes me lose the next game when I simulate only one week and it’s always an issue

The number of ads has dramatically increased with the most recent update to where you can barely play the game without hitting another advertisement. Don’t plan to pay the extra fee to get rid of ads so I’m just deleting.

Game has so much potential. CFB is my favorite game. This game just has a weird layout and it’s hard to do stuff. Make the layout like CFB and it would be amazing. Also like a team hall of fame and star records

Very hard to know what to do it’s not very organized. But the way the football one is set up makes it easy to know what to do and how to play the game. If u can tell me how what to do pls do
