Compress Video -Shrink storage

I stg I tried at least 10 apps to compress my videos and this is the only one that worked. With it having low amount of downloads i was hesitant but it worked and it was quick. I don’t usually write reviews and i just had to because it lifted a huge weight off my shoulders it felt like.

For a while it worked great. I was able to compress a lot of videos I had saved and free up a lot of room on my phone. But lately it is very rare to get a compression to actually work. I end up with an error message that the operation could not be completed. Maybe one in twenty files work, if that. I’m not doing anything different than I was before and they are all mp4 files. Should be no problem. I don’t understand.

Could The app version before the current version which far better they took compression steps that literally took four clicks and now I have to do eight clicks, including changing menu options It also seems to have lost the fact that I purchased the previous version which is supposed to be lifetime one time fee So now I have annoying ads from the I had these changes been in a sec I never would’ve I know, but no longer use that very much anymore. It’s become too difficult in terms of too many clicks to do simple application. The previous version worked for Penzeys. I would suggest using another app which is disappointing because it did work now it’s just become far more Sorry for any typos I’m using voice dictation.

Most compressions just stop mid- compression. Once I got one video to compress, and was able to select upload to Vimeo. It had a place to add a title and description and then it just sat there. No way to actually start the upload. I tried swiping in every direction or hitting buttons. I do have the Vimeo app installed. Then I tried refreshing the compression app. Now I don’t have the compressed video anymore and can’t get a compression to complete on any other video. Probably I’m doing something wrong but I can’t find any instructions anywhere. Sigh.

The main reason I PAID for the app was so I could batch process multiple videos. But when you try batching, ADVANCED MODE DISAPPEARS. That means the option to REDUCE THE BITRATE is GONE. That means that a 740GB video I could could compress for free into 14MB by itself with ONLY the BITRATE REDUCED to 350Kbps—when batched with other videos—can, MAX, ONLY be compressed to 110GB. Not just that, but the 110GB video is now 230x106??? Batching means saving time. But at reduced functionality, what was the point of buying this? I just want this loss of functionality fixed. If it can’t, then I want a refund.

Love the app! Easy to use and works great! My iPhone video was too large to attach in the email, exceeded 25mb. This app compressed the file in a few seconds. Saved the day for my school project!

I saw your response about increasing the bit rate to decrease the lag of the compressed video. I set the bit rat to 100% and still experienced lag, is there another way to fix this issue?

This app is simple to use and works flawlessly for me on my old iPad Air. Saved me lots of storage space without any noticeable compromise in video quality.

NO INSTRUCTIONS! basic or advancd. Operation is NOT intuitive. A basic outline would be helpful. UI dumps an ad in your face with every move. Managed to successfully compress one file but was unable to select another file to compress. If app uses gestures to move from one task to the next, please describe them. App was useless to me — deleted

You’re not letting me try it even one time to see the features and the set up. You could charge $.10 for the app but I’m not going to pay for it unless you show me a trial even if it’s one time. Without this, bye-bye.

Can’t save your compression/etc edits to your photo album on your phone. It lets you perform whatever edit, compression, video division split etc but then after doing all that won’t allow them to be saved. What’s the deal??

Doesn’t function as advertised (or at all), just serves full page ads after being open for a few milliseconds. Pretty sure I could find ads anywhere, installed to compress video but that doesn’t happen.

This is crap. It does the job just fine , but hold on. It gives you the opportunity to delete the original video and keep the compressed one. I did just that and this program deleted the original AND the new compressed one.

When I try to compress videos, it just, doesn’t let me, i just see some Asian letters on the screen... help?!

You will import your video, choose what you want to compress it to and then endlessly wait as the app never does with her promises. If you are trying to compress any video over one minute do not use this app.

Since the last two updates, the app crash when I access to the Camera Roll. Down vote to 1 Star, I voted 5 Stars before this mess!

I’ve downloaded to compress an H264 8Gig video. I opened the app, selected the video, and was taken to a black screen with “Preview” at the top.

That’s enough to give it 4 Stars.
