Cooking Mama: Cuisine!

It’s incredibly annoying to log in every day to get new ingredients, I want to say that it is a good tactic to get people to take more then a few hours to finish the game, however they could have made it so you unlock ingredients that you can use for later recipes, instead of making people play it for a half hour and get so incredibly frustrated that they want to delete the game. I would rate it lower except Iove how we get to dress up momma and decorate our kitchen, also uploading a cooking mamma game to the App Store is a really good way to get the younger generations to play the games. And ofc the nostalgia plays a big role in how much I like it, but overall I think it’s an amazing game but they NEED to take out the logging in every single day just to get new ingredients that sometimes repeat, although it’s a good tactic I’m pretty sure it cost them players, love the game but overall 3.5 stars but I’ll give it 4 bc it’s cooking momma and I can’t do momma dirty like that. Love ya momma 😘❤️

this game is actually really good and reminds me of the cooking mama games on the ds, but I CAN'T USE THE OVEN??? I can't close the oven door because the arrow goes below my screen. I thought this was just a problem with my phone because it is pretty small, but I also downloaded this on my ipad and I still couldn't close the oven. don't know if there's a remedy for this but I can't 3 star a good portion of the recipies because the oven won't close :(

I’ve always loved cooking games, since I was a kid being able to mix ingredients and cut vegetables and fruits has always been fun. This takes me back to that time and is a great stress reliever!! There’s very few games like this and it’s sad really but thankful this one keeps it as close to cooking s as possible!! I own all recipes and I think that is my only complaint, we need more recipes! I’m ok buying them because they are really cheap and it’s worth the ongoing uniqueness of the game! With so many new foods, cuisines out there leaves you an opportunity to add so many more recipes! I don’t care for the side games but I do play them just to get the ingredients! Would love to see just good recipes we can cook and continue to gain ranks as a chef!! I hope there’s an update soon for new recipes!!!

Cooking Mama was my all time favorite game on my bright pink DS in the early 2000’s- I was SO excited to see it in the App Store! Now that I’m all grown up, however, I’d love it to be just a bit more challenging… make me work for those stars! Features I’d love to see: - Expert mode. Once you’ve finished all of the recipes, make them HARD. Easiest way to do this would be cutting down the time for each stage (by up to ⅓). Alternatively, remove some of the cues so you have to complete each micro game by memory, or require TRUE perfection (no cracked eggs here!) -Utilize more haptics. Some vibration during grinding/grating/etc. would be easy. -Motion capture! Make me shake my phone to cook that pork chop! Cooking Mama DS was great because of how it utilized the touch screen. We have futuristic technology in our pockets now! I crave an immersive faux cooking experience. -Nostalgic OG Mama voice option. This Mama is not MY Mama… I want to hear her cute Japanese-robot voice insulting my sausage-cutting skills. Why is this game so entertaining? Even if I’ve aced all the recipes, I still keep cooking! Mama has once again cast her spell…

I Finshed all the new recipes in a day I’m tempted to reset my progress but I’m proud of myself I have 3 stars on every recipe and Every-time I get a two star I try again the next day. The second a new update comes out I try it and it makes me sad to finsh I wish to have more recipes since I love this game so much. I just want to have 3 stars and be a good chef this game calms me down and all I want is a nice steak or a nice burger with some tomato on it please think about adding some fast food(but healthy and homemade) to the game I would love to see any new updates or anything and might try to play it on my switch and computer!<3

For me, this game is amazing. I’ve had it for about 6 or 5 years, and I still have it! It’s low stress, and after a long day, I can come home and play it. The food in the game looks tasty and realistic, and I can cook on a digital screen learning new ways to cook. I have a lot of fun playing this game. the only thing im requesting is that if they could bring out more baking ingredients, not shrimp or squid. I love baking, and if I was able to make a cake or cupcakes or maybe cookies now and then I would be very happy. This is what I think of the game. Other then that. I love this game and thing you should give it a chance!

I’ve been playing Cooking Mama games since they came out on the original DS. Brings back great memories, and gives me something simple to do to pass the time. Anyone who’s complaining obviously doesn’t have the same connection to the original, which is fine, but I honestly think this is still a great game in its own right. The new feature are nice and they bring something different to the game. Customization is fun, and finding the recipes makes it seem more true to real life - where you have to figure out what you can make with what you have on hand.

It’s fun & it’s ultra cute. But logging in everyday just to get new ingredients, is a hard no from me. Everyone knows the game can be beaten in less than a day. Developers took the easy way out to restrict a player on how long it takes them to beat the game. Instead of just adding weekly events with new ingredients every week coupled with challenges involving how well you do or timing. Also don’t like the fact that they clearly don’t want you getting all “special” recipes for like this current spring event. I should be able to make Dango with Azuki Beans, Pot & Flour. But nope, instead it’ll block me from tapping Flour after tapping Pot & vice versa. Smh, game devs do better, stop being lazy.

The Sigma. ( I think that means cool.) But is it just me that limited foods only have three recipes? I don’t see anyone complaining about so it could only be me. But if it isn’t… give ALL the limited foods 4 recipes! It’s annoying seeing recipe books that only have three colored in foods and one just one solid black colored food on the front of almost every limited addition food recipe books! Example: My recipe books: Red means done recipes Black means not done recipes 🔴🔴🔴⚫️ 🔴🔴🔴⚫️ 🔴🔴🔴⚫️ 🔴🔴🔴⚫️ 🔴🔴🔴⚫️ 😅😭 Overall lots of love - A fan

This has been a really fun game and I like the variety. But the game has made it impossible to get all the recipes. I’m only missing 3 but the ingredients needed are literally never together. Waiting for different days doesnt work because each day of the week is the same so every monday is the same ingredients, every tuesday the same etc. And I can’t earn new ingredients to cook with because you only get those when making new recipes of which I don’t have any but those 3. I was liking this game a lot but the fact the mechanics have locked me out of completion is very frustrating.

I’ve started to not mind that some ingredients are only available on certain days; but what I really can’t stand is that I spent a couple days making all the holiday recipes, and additional specific recipes with ingredients only available certain days of the week, and making new receipts and earning new hairstyles, garments, and kitchen styles to log on the next day and basically have an old version of my progress be uploaded/saved and then 2/3 of the progressed erased. It’s really frustrating. Please fix this. Either Apple or the makers/producers of Cooking Mama.

i absolutely love anything cooking mama, and so i immediately got this app. i initially played it on an apple arcade free trial, which i recently renewed because i missed this game so much. the problem is, is that i had the special valentines day kitchen, which is now unavailable to me and it's acting like i never earned it. it's really upsetting me because while i know cosmetics aren't everything, i still miss my old decor, and i have no idea why it kept everything else in my save BUT my limited time items. i'd usually rate five stars, but i am really not happy about this.

Hi. This is a really awesome game. But there’s something I want to just ask you: My little brother has access to all different types of foods on his iPad, like apples and whole new recipes, like truffles. And why not my iPad too? I am (very) jealous of him! But I don’t think that should drop my review down to only four stars. And another thing is: who MAKES their Margarita Pizza? Huh? 🤨 🙂 But like the last one it’s fine. I have almost completed the game with almost every recipe at 3 stars and it is amazing! I have no complaints only suggestions. First of can we start choosing if we want to wear the bandannas or not. I find it hard to style mama sometimes because of the bandannas. Also u would like more recipes preferably baking because I’m a pretty terrible cook but this game has help boost my confidence to work on it! But aside from my suggestions this game is wonderful!

The one major annoyance is how some activities don’t get a proper tutorial, and since you cannot repeat them, you have to do the entire recipe over again. It took me forever to figure why I couldn’t cook the hamburgers until I learned you have to bring the plate over while flipping them. Also, the game reaches an immediate standstill once you realize that ingredients and tools are changed daily. I’m sure that’s where the in-app purchases come in if this weren’t an Apple Arcade title, but it’s really annoying to start getting into the gameplay and realize you’ve exhausted everything for the day.

The game is actually fun, especially if you used to play this on the Nintendo DS back in the day. It has all of the feature the original game had plus some new things. Only thing I dislike is how long it takes to get new recipes. Once you complete most/all of the recipes this game will sit on your device, collecting dust until they update it with more recipes, which is not often unfortunately. I give this game an A for nostalgia, A for graphics and gameplay, but a D for longevity.

I know this may be targeted to kids, but it’s not fun at all. I’ve only played 3 recipes and I’m not really interested. first let me just say I don’t like how you can’t plate the food yourself, I loved doing that when I played on wii. I don’t like picking the ingredients to make recipes. The list of recipes was better. Although I’ve only played 3 recipes it seems there’s no motion censor levels. That boring🫤 also it just seems way too easy. If this is designed for children then I guess it’s an okay game ..

I’ve ALWAYS loved Cooking Mama, ever since I was a little kid! As a matter of fact, it’s my favorite game series! I actually got Apple Arcade exclusively to play this. I just wish there were more recipes! That being said, I completely understand that mobile games have a pretty limited amount of space and computing power to work with. I look forward to seeing future updates!

It is very very very good! Amazing in fact! It’s just that I have trouble cutting the sausage. It won’t let me swipe at the right time. So I lose the three stars. I might need to practice. And I’m glad there’s a practice mode! You can view the recipe and practice whatever you like! But that’s just the problem. If the creators see this please handle this as best as you can! See ya!

OMG!!! Totes in 🙃L O V E 🙃 with this freakin game!!!!! I’ve only had it for a week and already have 45 dishes. Also 27/31 accomplishments as well. I do feel bad when cutting the pork and beef and other meats cuz I’m vegan but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t go against my policies as long as I. Dont. Eat. It. Kk. Byesies. Hope this review was helpful. Oh and in case it wasn’t clear I would totally recommend this game.

This game is so fun and their isn’t even ads. I could play all day until it becomes repetitive. I also like how their is different ingredients everyday and cook recipes, if you looking for a chill game then this is it. Also it’s so realistic like everything about it but the most realistic item is the tomato. Anyways it’s a 10/10!!! ❤️❤️

After you’re basically through with basic recipes they make you wait insane amounts of time for “new ingredients” I don’t login everyday but whenever I do, I’m always told “X day new ingredients will be added” and I’ve yet to see them tbh. It becomes boring when there’s nothing new to make, idk why they restrict users in this version of the game. You’re better off playing the free cooking mama.

It’s really engaging, has good graphics, the food looks AMAZING. I love how you have to discover recipes instead of already knowing what you’re making. Good for long car rides and I love how you can customize as it can be kind of embarrassing when someone sees a grown man playing a game with pink cartoony graphics 😅

It’s decently fun but very cute! It can get pretty tedious the log in and complete the steps over and over again. I will say, it was really fun at first but can get pretty boring when you play it for a long time; EVERY DAY. It is nice to cook a new recipe once in a while. This type of game just isn’t for me but I suggest you give it a try (:

Game is pretty good! The steps aren’t nearly as challenging as they were in the DS games though. Also, there’s an issue with the oven step, specifically the egg tarts. It wants me to drag the tray into the oven but the arrow is overlapping with Apple’s swipe up home feature thing, so it just goes to the home screen instead of letting me play the game, barring me from getting 3 stars on the recipe.

Since I upgraded my iPhone the names of the recipes no longer appear at the bottom of the ingredient screen. I was hoping the would be fixed with the next app update, but it’s still broken.

I really enjoy the game but it gets boring after you complete all the dishes. I’d like to see updates more often and more dishes to complete. Some desserts or different cuisines. I enjoyed playing the event as well so that was a great update just do them more please cause I don’t want to play if I keep creating the same dishes over and over it’s not exciting anymore.

I always love playing cooking mama, I even had it when the Nintendo DS was popular and I still have it for my console. I just wished there was more and different ingredients to work with everyday, instead of the same ones

I love this game so much and the original. I like how he can actually pick the ingredients to mix instead of following the recipe like in the original so I like that part and that that’s pretty much it. The rest is kind of the same but good game.😊

Just as the title says. I can’t get through the game for more than a few minutes without it freezing. Brand new iPad, new update, but the game still won’t work. Plus you have to match ingredients to make dishes, so you don’t know what you’re making until it’s made. Don’t like that process, and it makes getting new recipes so difficult. Not worth it at all. I’d much rather the 3DS version.

I am an OG, who played this game on my Nintendo DS back in the early 2000s. The game is super fun and great just like I remember except sometimes the feedback with the touchscreen isn’t 100%. Nothing major or anything that makes the game unplayable but there’s just a little bit of bugginess present.

The game is really fun, but it took me about 2 weeks to get through what seems like all of the recipes. The recipe books show I only have two recipes I haven’t found and they’re “coming soon” unsure if the game is updated to add recipes?

Cooking mama is a great game but needs more recipes, and you should be able to choose ingredients from ALL of them today I opened up the app and I had different ingredients and I had done all the recipes with them. Otherwise, this is a GREAT game I love it!

Logging in every day to see the daily ingredients have already been combined in all combinations is a little frustrating. What’s the point of the daily ingredients if I already have nearly all the recipes after maybe a week and a half of playing? The game is still fun! But more dishes please!

Almost completely finished with this game. It’s been fun and theres been a lot of variety in recipes for me. HERES THE PROBLEM! The last dish I did was the egg tart. When putting the tray in the oven, the up arrow to put the tray in is too far down. The slide up bar on iphone is in the way and you cannot slide them in.

This game is great but, when making the egg tarts, the arrow is too low on the screen. Making me get no stars on that step. Since I am a perfectionist, I would really like to get 3 stars on every recipe. Please fix this soon!!!!

I absolutely love this game, brings back memories when I had my Nintendo 3Ds, and how much I played the infamous “Cooking Mama”. I love the remake and I have to say, this has a special place in my heart, keep up the fantastic work ❤️

I went through the recipes really quick because I loved the game, but with no new ingredients being added I get about one new recipe every few weeks. I haven’t had anything new in just over a week now. A very great and fun game at first, but once you stop getting new things the charm wears off

It’s unfortunate because this game held a lot of potential. Cooking mama is an amazing, nostalgic game. But it isn’t tolerable to play when it’s full of bugs. Playing it back in the day on my ds light I never had an issue. The buggy janky controls causing me to loose challenges just isn’t worth the rise in blood pressure. I wish they’d put more pride into this game and I wish they had worked out the bugs before release.

There's certain points where you doing a new dish that you haven't done previously and while you're cooking the food it'll tell you for instance how to remove a papusa from the oil, well you're tapping like you did the other 10 but it's still not coming out and now it's burned and you get docked. That's not fair and it's done it on more than one recipe.

I used to love the concept of this game as a kid but get so frustrated because I was so bad at it. It’s a lot easier and more fun than I remember. I love playing it it’s so relaxing

I was at a hotel playing this game on my iPad till the weirdest thing happened I tried cooking a new thing but it kept giving ,e the same ingredients. Although that was at least 5 months ago so I don’t know if it works now. So I better check that soon.

I just got the game today and decided to mute the sound/music in the game bc I was trying to play music while play, well once I went to unmute it the sound/music doesn’t work….over all though I love the game pure nostalgia

With the adding new recipes can we also add more ingredients? Like how did you get that pepper?!.? Also can we make mama have a different skin tone and hair color with that also a male version? Also no ads wow 🤩 🤩 🤩 🤯! Then its a really fun game but like logging next day just to cook more I mean why?!?! I finished the game in one sitting. It was fun but I’ve had it installed for almost a year now with no updates. Finishing all the recipes will not take u long, maybe two hours of playtime total in this game. It was fun while it lasted and more fun than the other cooking mama. The other cooking mama actually has wayyyy more stuff to do and cook. I’d recommend that one.

I love this game honestly might be favorite. I usually don’t go for games like this, but i enjoy this game immensely. I’ve completed all the recipes within 2 weeks. With that being said PLZ ADD MORE RECIPES 🙏

It’s fun but it needs to be updated way more often. It takes months for them to add more recipes and when they do you get like 1-3 recipes and then you have to wait so long for more. At least add more recipes every week or something.

This game gives me great ideas for cooking you can make lots of different meals and you can decide how you want to decorate your kitchen this is the best way to start cooking and it’s free.

If you are gonna charge people $5-$15 then take some time to put out recipes or bundles to purchase recipes. You don’t need to know my age but you are letting the cooking mama legacy down big time. Shame. Money over happiness.
