Fun Game, highly recommend, could use some improvements
This game is really great and highly recommend it. I wish the wait times for the labs would be shorter because unless you spend money you have to wait almost a whole day for some of them. Also in the original criminal minds game there were times that you could play without wasting any energy but why not in this game too? Lastly, waiting 24th ours before moving on to the next case is wAy too long in my opinion. Maybe if also we can get harder crimes to solve because I can usually figure out the killer as soon as they are introduced
I completed all chapters of Criminal Case on Facebook except Paris. Only the original CC app saved my progress, I had to start over in the others. I only play Criminal Case apps that can login to Facebook. CC: Paris - did and then didn’t. CC: Save The World was next - did login to FB but then failed; now CC: The Conspiracy app - I just started getting pop-up messages requesting that I login to Facebook but it fails every time now. The latest version of this app was 8 months ago today and was supposed to take care of issues with iPhone 15s and the latest IOS version. App developers not caring about users wouldn’t surprise me but losing revenue is something you care about so fix this login issue with Facebook. Criminal Case was the Facebook Game of the Year way back when so Meta should be willing to help you fix these issues. I don’t have a computer but maybe using one will allow me to play Criminal Case on Facebook itself and not worry about the apps.
I really don’t have a problem with the ads...because A) the game is free and B) I’ve played the other games in this series so there are no surprises. I’ve gotten used to the time things take to complete. The character dialog is cheesy as it’s always been but that’s part of the charm. These games are clearly a money grab but if you can look past all that, it’s fun. I try not to complain about something that’s free. If it bugs you that much, don’t download it or better yet, pay the 7.99 and earn the right to complain. I personally hate the Freemium format. I’d much rather pay a set price and just play the game...
I played a couple of the Criminal Case games a while back when I still had a Facebook account. It was a fun way to pass the time, but I got tired of only having the choice of either paying real money or adding fb friends. I didn’t like bugging my family or my actual friends since most of them don’t play these games. And I didn’t like adding strangers to my friends list. And I’m extremely picky about what apps I’m willing to pay for. The ads are a bit annoying, but not any more than they are on a lot of other apps. The games were/are a lot of fun and challenging. I just want to play games like this without the necessity to add ‘friends’ or pay $$ to continue playing.
These are wonderful games. More like novels! But the key is to get all of them( there are currently five) and when you run out of stars to move forward just switch games. I am retired and these are my go to games on my iPhone. I paid to get rid of those annoying ads, and I sometimes pay to fast forward to the next level in a game (99 cents). You can watch ads to get more energy or not. No need to spend a lot of money! These are fantastic games. Graphics, story lines, characters, all are done to a T. Highly recommend them! They are all equally good!
I have enjoyed all the Criminal Case games so far, and this one is just as good as the others. I do have a couple issues with it though: 1) when I first downloaded it and logged in to Facebook I was already on level 2 in the middle of case number 1 with an autopsy finishing up…I was just a bit confused about what happened. I had to uninstall/reinstall the game and start the game without logging in to Facebook to figure things out and then login in when I reached where I was. 2) pretty much every time I open the game I’m asked to confirm my Facebook login…I’m hoping that goes away soon.
I have enjoyed this game for many years. I first started playing the game on a old laptop I had and then when it crashed I went to an iPad. I like the ability to be able to trash the last games I played thus being able to save room on my iPad. Do wish I could do that with other games. Even though I have played this game for many years I have never bought extra energy. I either watch the videos or I figure it is time for me to take a break and do something else.
You used to be a 5 star app. I have played all the other criminal cases, but now you’re taking away another free spin! The first Criminal Cases had more free spins. There are many of us who play these games who cannot afford to spend money on the games and count on the daily gifts. One spin might not be much to you, but it means a lot to many players. I have played Criminal Cases for a long time and I think you are very petty and greedy to reduce our daily spins after you already increased the number of ads we must watch while playing the game and you are really pushing the sale of “ad free”. When you update the app you never tell us that you are taking something from us or increasing the ads. Give me a reason to not delete this app!
So this game is okay. The storyline is interesting, and it is a lot of fun. I would absolutely love it of not for a few, really irritating aspects. 1) there is no “bank” or storage place for the extra energy things you can buy or win. So in order to use them, you have to run out of all your current energy then try to use more, then you get a pop up, and it’s just a poorly done system. 2) there are power boosts in the game (like starting the round with extra hints or stuff) but you can’t choose when to use them. When you win them, it forces you to use them next round. I HATE that. What game does that?!?! It’s ridiculous and irritating. 3) there are “achievements” you can win but you don’t get anything for winning them. It’s completely pointless. I mean, it doesn’t have to be a big prize: coins, or energy, or specialty avatar customizations, or SOMETHING. But why have achievements if you don’t even win anything from them? This game would b a 5-star game if they fixed just a few small things, but frankly, the little things pile up and make it so irritating, why even play?
I used to love these games, but for the last 2months, I don’t know what’s going on, but the games freeze, I cannot receive any coins, chips or anything from my friends in the games…I’ve written or complained several times, but of course, you only get an automated response, which is no help at all….I’ve done everything it tells you to do in the troubleshooting section and still the games don’t work like they did. I’ve updated the games, still nothing changes. I wish I had a phone number or some way to contact a real human being to correct my problem. Will be deleting the games sooner rather than later, cause I’ve exhausted all ways to fix the problem….
I have been playing Criminal Case since 2012. When I completed Mysteries of the Past and went to The Conspiracy, it opened as a brand new came. None of my stats converted like it did when I went to other worlds in the game. Years worth of cards, levels, coins are GONE! I love the game but disappointed that everything is stuck in the old platform and won’t convert. Please create a fix so I can continue playing with stats.
I’ve been playing this for a few months. Until this past week, I have thoroughly enjoyed the game. Easily enjoyable without spending a dime, though I prefer to buy things here and there sometimes. My issue has only arisen recently. I am being inundated with requests from the game for me to sign into Facebook. You would think after being told once or twice it would stop asking, but I am peppered with these pop ups several times a minute. Unless someone can tell me how to stop this, I will have to delete the game. Seems like a wonky way to lose a customer.
Not happy with all the problems they have on this game. Have been playing for a very long time and every so often I get only 1 spin (the whole series) for daily bonus as to the normal 4 (I did not miss a day and it still says I will receive 5 hints). When I asked for technical support this is the response I received at end of them telling me to go the commonly asked questions for help: ‘P.S. Please note this is an automated message and the only message you will receive regarding this inquiry. We hope that after reviewing the tips provided above you will find the information helpful.’ No it was not, there was no tip regarding my problem or in the frequent asked questions.
Wow, the new update with all the ads is crazy! I don’t mind paying to disable the the ads, but $7.99? That’s crazy. $3.99 is much more what I would have expected. And for the $7.99 all you get is ad free. Jeez most games when you pay for ad free you get something else (maybe coins or hamburgers or something). Or maybe if you buy X number of hamburgers you het ad free... IDK... I’ve been playing all the Criminal Case series & probably have already paid $75 to get upgrades to speed up the progress... Now with the crazy amount of ads I either need to quit playing it or I guess bite the bullet and pay the $7.99...
Before the last few days the ads only came up when you spun the wheel. There were other times the adds came up but it wasn’t bad. Now they’re coming up after you play once before you even get a star. I love your games, I’ve played most of them. But these adds are getting ridiculous. I spend money on this game just so I can keep playing. I won’t do it any longer too many adds. I would give you a five star rating except for the adds. Thank you. Sad in California
Can’t move past level 1 without paying or bugging friends
The title says it all. I had this game a few years ago and really enjoyed it. When I got a new iPad for Christmas it was one of the first games I downloaded. However after finishing level 1 I can’t move to level 2 without either paying or getting three of my friends to play the game. This is ridiculous and I refuse to do it. I’m so disappointed as I was really enjoying it. I tried to contact support through the settings of the game and got the “page not found” error… I guess they’re tired of the complaints. Wish I had checked before I wasted my time with this.
I have played all the criminal case games with no problems and enjoyed them very much. Almost done with Pacific Bay, and still playing mysteries of the past. I too am annoyed with the increased ads in this game. But mostly I am really frustrated with the fact I can’t load scene 14, I tried everything they suggested in the support section, no luck. So I sent an email, no response whatsoever. Reached out again tonight so we will see if they respond, but apparently there are glitches they need to fix. Still downloading scenes from their other games, so my device is not the issue. What a waste of my time.
Resting after a workout, waiting for an appointment, each short game takes just a few minutes ( about 1 or less). Interrupted? No problem or pressure- the points you spend to play a round re-charge. The only concern is that I reset my phone and had to start all over. I wish I could retain my level of play and the stuff I have bought by signing in.
I have been playing this game everyday for quite a while and am on level 23. Despite all the ads, I did enjoy the game. I have been having a problem with the daily free spins and decided to go to support page. None of the info addressed my problem so I sent in a contact us to ask about my problem. Immediately I received a rote email telling me to go to the support page and read the FAQ, which I had already done! Also said there I’ll be no other communication from game support. Why have a contact us option if it means nothing. I am deleting the game.
This game is good because it has a good variety of spending stars and it’s not that hard to earn them too, the other ones is a hard grind for stars and you have to pay 2 stars to move on to the next chapter and 3 to move on to the next level which is too much in my opinion.
I enjoy playing Criminal Case! It often makes me sad because of people murdered plus good people who do bad things! This is true in all the various cases! Also have trouble earning enough money to get pets or clothes or both. With first case, I managed to get all pets plus have some clothes I liked! In The last case Mysteries of the Past, I only purchased the cheapest pet plus at end of game, I still couldn’t afford any extra pets. PLEASE have HAPPY ENDINGS plus make more money
I’ve enjoyed all of your games up to now. I will be starting your next game in the series. I enjoy the challenge of trying to figure out who the murderer is and what hidden plot is being revealed. The time constraints are good because it prevents me from spending all my time playing,. I still have time for the rest of my interests and living. Hope the future games are as good as their predecessors.
It’s very simple and very good game. Get into the game to see how good it really is. U can connect with the characters too. Very good. Am still waiting to see when we get Ray Parker. That guy’s just too shady innocent for me. If we don’t get him,then I hope he becomes a killer in later series cus I just don’t like that guy. Too innocent. But the game is AWESOME
Ads. I can understand making us sit through the entire ad when we’re trying to get 20 energy points, but after playing a scene, it feels like it happens every other time you play it: there’s an ad. A random ad for no reason. You don’t get anything out of it. You CAN skip it after five seconds, if the ad allows you to, but otherwise, if you’re going to make me sit through an unwarranted ad, give me more energy or something similar.
I’m 20+ cases in and love every case to bits, but recently I have been having trouble with the in-app purchases cause it’s saying that a 10-pack set is in the process of purchasing but it’s been a few days now and I haven’t gotten anything yet on top of not being able to purchase any more 10-packs until I get this one. But overall I absolutely love these games, this is the furthest I got on any of the criminal case games.
I have played this game several years now. Have completed them all. Started on the second time around and all of a sudden I have ads every other play. This is ridiculous. I am deleting this game now. Very disappointed in the ads and that there is nothing new to play.
I love this game, HOWEVER, I believe that the developers should update the game with giving prizes when you earn a trophy. When it says you earned a trophy it’s just like “meh” because there is no reason for them. If they added prizes like energy boosters that would be awesome. Also, the wait time could use a lowering. Really annoying to wait 24 hours for something to finish.
Fun game. Pretty generous with ways to have energy. Def needs to just give 110 energy for every level achieved and not cap that at 110. Story lines of guilty are a bit cheesy but that is fine and just part of game. Recent huge disappointment is increase in ads. Raising your pets is now materially and significantly longer as one point increases are ad based and only so many a day. Used to be limitless every 5 minutes, now not so.
I love all the games. Been playing for years. One complaint. Lost most of the players and now all of a sudden, after everything I do I have to go through safari to keep playing. Very annoying. It happens in all the criminal games. I am over level 400 in criminal minds and lost over 50 players and does same thing there. Would hate to give up but am thinking about it.
I want to know why all four of these scenarios 1) Require you to sign in on Facebook for Lucky Cards redemption. 2) Require you to sign in on Facebook to add friends and then when you do it doesn’t allow you to do a search by alphabet and always displays the same friends. 3) I had over 200 friends in Facebook and suddenly one day it dropped to 25 friends. Right now the game CC Mysteries is showing at the bottom of the screen that I should be charged 15 Lightning Bolts but I’m actually being charged 20. I’ve been playing CC for over 5 years. This installment of the series doesn’t feel like the previous ones, especially the first game. The plot became more confusing and difficult to comprehend. Also, the characters and cases got more strange and difficult to follow. I feel that the developers made this game a money pit with all the absurd and inappropriate ads. It became unplayable. If you don’t like the game, don’t download it and don’t play it. The choice is yours. So I decided to delete it and do other things with my time. Thank you.
I’m writing this review to let the creators know I love this game. It’s so interesting and fun and I love it. I just downloaded it and I’m on case two. I also have pacific bay and I’m on case sixteen. I never stop playing. There is no errors in it in my opinion. So I will keep my 5 star rate for this and I’m gonna put a five star rate for pacific bay. I will try the others.
I love playing criminal case, because it takes my mind off of things that stress me out. I also play it on my phone, that way I could collect starts even faster. I am still waiting for Season 6 to come. It was release last year in March, but I haven’t got the app yet. I am hoping it comes soon.
I love these games and as a retired 44 year police officer since it’s really very easy but can be lots of fun. Some of the things like spinning the wheel, it never lands on much that is good and you won’t get much spinning the wheel. Some of objects are hard to see. There’s lots more, but I may say more later.
I really like this game. I like that I could play with my friends. But, there has been no Facebook connection for over a month. So I’m playing by myself. The error message says that the developer knows about this situation. Again, it’s been over a month. I think if this isn’t fixed in the near future, I will stop playing.
I love the game-5 stars; I hate the ads-minus 1 star. The ads I hate are the ones that keeping popping up in the middle of plays every 3 minutes. They are also ads that give you NOTHING! I don’t mind watching ads for energy but not in the middle of a game...and not for NOTHING. At that point I usually turn off the game if I can’t turn off the ad (some will let you do this). Sometimes I go back to the game quickly, other times, not for up to 4 months.
I’ve played this game since the first edition. The storylines have been good and I enjoyed them. But, and there’s always a but, there are too many ads. Every time you play a scene you have to watch an ad. It gets very old especially because the same thing repeats and repeats. Also the accessorize are horrible. Unless you want your character to look like a clown, there are very few “real” customers to pick from. I play but I don’t spend any money.
Hello. There is some issues with the game I would like to complain about. First and foremost, MOTP can’t login with my Facebook account, but it did login in in the past, so there’s in issue with MOTP being able to login in into FB. Second, I wasted $20 on Sticker Packets, WAS charged, but the game said “there was an issue. your account will not be charged”. Can Pretty Simple fix this?
When I have a high score and is awarded more points my points are not added to the score I have example my score is 250 and I am awarded 110 points my points stay at 250 instead of 360 so I see no extra points at all why? As well as having these double ads prolonging the game I feel one ad is more than enough!
Omg! I have been playing this game for the past week and I can’t stop! It’s an awesome game with mystery’s and if you wanted to be one when your older then it could help you a lot if you wanted to be a detective! Download this game!
I wrote in about a problem with the game and received an automated email that stated it was the only response I would get and to look at the help pages - which is already done and did not locate an answer. I’ll be canceling my WEEKLY subscription for no ads and 170 energy capacity. I’d just started replaying the game too. This is extremely poor customer service - especially for a product I’m spending money on.
I love playing this game!! I went through Mysteries Past, then when I continued to The Conspiracy, I lost everything from over the years!! I would like all my stats recovered through The Conspiracy game!! Please fix this...it’s not fair for me to lose everything I earned over the years just to start over again!!
I’ve played all the Criminal Case versions and am almost finished The Conspiracy. After the last update there are glitches in the Spot the differences bonus level. Often when I touch the item on one side, it doesn’t appear on the other. I hope it’s fixed in the next update.
Search and find games are easy to come by but Criminal Case has always had me coming back. I don’t play any others. Not only are the stories intriguing, but the games are consistently inclusive of women and PoC. For that, all five apps stay in my games folder.
This is the ONLY on-line game I haven’t had to spend money out of my pocket to advance in. I enjoy the challenge of each new case and patience on my part allows me to earn what I need to move to the next case. Great life lesson there if you ask me. Thanks!
Loved CC but....Conspiracy did not load with the other games I had played. It loaded as a separate game. So no coins previously earned. No friends list...I've tried tech support and got an email with reference to the troubleshooting fac's that I read prior to sending my help request. In addition the email indicated that I would not be receiving any other email's. You will not receive any help! The ads are over the top abundant. Way too many
I’ve completed all the versions I can of this game. I’m just waiting for two more versions of this game to be available in the United States. Why isn’t the criminal case: supernatural and the into the future game available in the United States? 😤
Played all of the cases. Enjoy. But the Ads of out of control. Also why do you take away whatever points you have when you reach the next level. and make us start out at 110 again. I feel of the points that we have should be kept and included.
I’ve played almost every versions of CC and it’s just so fun especially this one. If haven’t downloaded this app then I recommend you do. Tell your friends too. It’s the only app that I play 5 hours everyday. Hey, why are you still reading? Go download it!
The ads are getting ridiculous! Even after watching ads on purpose, they instill more after just about every scene played. Used to be every 3 or 4 scenes played. And on top of the it’s usually the same ad every time. Thinking of not playing anymore after I have been playing for a few years.
