One of the Best!

Changelly is certainly among my top choices when it comes to choosing an exchange when I want to purchase coins quickly with no hassle. I’m really writing this after reading so many complaints here in the reviews. Complaint after complaint for problems caused simply by user error. When beginning in crypto be sure your doing your own research before signing and completing any transactions. Understand what needs to be sent with your coins in a transaction and always know what your signing before you sign it. Don’t blame the exchange when your large funds are lost because of your error! Changelly is excellent to exchange one coin for another. All fees are included in your transaction and your coins are sent to the wallet address you provide. Seem-less and fully transparent when used correctly! A product that makes crypto a enjoyable experience!!!

Verifiably the 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄!!!

I was reminded today why I had deleted this app and completely stopped using their services when I was forced to either buy using them or miss out on a special deal… For whatever reason my linked Fiat Bank account stopped working, and so did my CC and Apple Pay, leaving just this company as the sole provider for Fiat to BTC(while on KuCoin).. Originally they were my top favorite company to use as an on-ramp exchange, better, safer, faster then anything else I have ever used. One day I started working on a new exchange and they offered this company’s services along side a few others so you could choose whom you wanted to use. Well every time I went to top-up my account with a monthly $150-$200 investment, they 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 $25+ each time! Nearly 𝐃𝐎𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐄 what the next highest offer was. Then I started noticing this exact same issue not just at that exchange but on all of the ones I’m using, and all of the wallets, and websites too. They are the WORST at how much they charge for providing the exact same service as Moon or MoonRiver or even CoinBase! What they are great at is Advertising, and that’s how they do it. Their ads are targeting NEW investors, the ones who haven’t seen or heard about them yet…

App with the functionality of web version!

I found changelly website in the beggining of 2021 when i wanted to buy DOGE and my friends recommended it to me. I was using the web version for quite some time and liked it a lot to be honest. Then a few weeks ago i realized that this app exists, and functionality is pretty much the same. Еhe variety of coins, the buy and exchange options are all the same. So long story short - i really enjoy using the app now. It is pretty convinient since my crypto wallet is also on my phone, and i don't even have to use my laptop anymore. Thanks team, keep it up!

Where is my refund

Where is my refund?? I made a mistake and misses the memo id on the transaction. This was my bad i know. I contacted changelly through a support ticket and never really heard anything back other than an auto reply message so i went onto the live chat. The person on the chat was very helpful and let me know what they would need to process a refund. I proceeded to send them all of the required information and then some. I was told that this would be processed in 3-7 business days. Well it is now the 9th business day and i have yet to recieve funds. I contacted on the 7th day and they said they would be right on it. I still have heard nothing and tomorrow will be 10 days since i filled refund. At this point my money is being held by Changelly and it is inhibiting my ability to access those funds and make investments cause me a loss of money. If someone does not contact me about this i will be forced to file a complaint with the CFPB and The BBB. It is absurd that i was given a time line and they have almost doubled it with no contact or update to me.

US $25K Gone, Held Up in Changelly Mistake

At the time of this writing it’s been 15 hours since Changelly received my currency for exchange. You can see the transaction ID on the blockchain. What’s missing is the currency to my received address. And the app indicates my currency was never received when it most clearly was. Email support (in broken English), says “sorry, you never included a mystery extra Id in the memo field” - which is not stated in the app, anywhere. Nor did they require this memo field in previous transactions. While support responded quickly, they showed a screen shot of the instructions ON THE WEBSITE. Useless. I even went to upgrade the app - no update , I have the latest app that allows Changelly to hold and float your crypto while they tell you they don’t have it. It’s only a matter of time until Apple steps in and delists this app from the App Store. The correct user experience should be to UPDATE the app (which they haven’t yet) then not allow a user to continue using the old app. I understand we are still in an evolving stage here… but if Changelly wants all of our money in transaction fees, they need to build better trust into their service. And this is horrible. They say wait seven days so someone can look at it and “hope for patience”????? Seven days is an eternity in crypto. I’m hopeful they find my $25k otherwise I’m going to have to figure out some other measures.

Glitchy, however...

I love Changelly. I access their website all the time. I wanted to love this app so much, but it’s super glitchy. I tried several times to add my payment method but kept getting a black screen. Prices aren’t always accurate. And when I try to switch to a different time frame on the charts, there is about a 30-second delay. There are other minor issues, but these are the most frustrating. I gave three stars because Changelly doesn’t deserve anything less. This is a one-star app for a 5-star company. Their app is not a reflection of Changelly’s quality and reputation. This app is still relatively new, and bugs/glitches are inevitable during the early stages. I will be keeping this app and adding to this review after future updates. In the meantime, I will continue to use their website.

Top notch customer service!

I have seriously messed up a couple transactions while using Changelly’s exchange service and both times they have gone above and beyond in assisting me in fixing my mistake. I will recommend their service to anyone who is looking for a quality company to exchange crypto with. Changelly is much more than just an crypto exchange service. I have received several informative emails from them regarding the crypto market that have really shed light on what is happening that is causing current volatility in the market . Above all, they are a calm, reassuring voice in the storm. Thank you again for all you do.

Fast, Simple, Secure

Fast: Did > 1 BTC exchange from my cold wallet (sent ETH and exchanged for BTC) and whole transaction took under 10 min. I’m talking ETH sent from my wallet to theirs and BTC from their wallet to mine. Simple: UX is very easy and intuitive. it’s a simple 3 step process that makes it very hard to make mistakes, which is important when exchanging large amount of $ that can disappear forever with a single type-o. Secure: Did 2 transactions on there and received my $. Also, there’s no actual storage of crypto on there, so you don’t have a lot to worry about.

I can’t help to notice every transaction is a 3 hour power play…. They know ups and downs before us. If it dips transactions happen fast… If it goes up they take up to max time…. In all real talk this platform needs to get real! I watch every transaction and confirmations on block Chain… and ts confirmed way before the convert! Stop stealing and actually be what Crypto was built to do!!! I have a solution I’m very sure you won’t even consider…. At Max 30 min confirmation time. That’s 29 min of time against POW and 29.9 against POS… yes I’m educated and calling you out. Traders be ware. Educate and calm them out. They have broken a moral value of crypto… Update seriously stop screwing us over with a Crypto I’m sitting here waiting for 40 minutes for an exchange between a ENRVN you got to be joking…as soon as I comment sending funds smh…

Amazing in all areas

The app is so easy to use.. everything is quick and simple, especially for a noob like me.. customer service is BEYOND helpful. They always answer all my questions super fast. If the bot don’t have the quick answer, there is always a live agent at your service to answer all your questions and deal with any hiccups u you may have encountered on your end (memo ID lol). Changelly is all I use, it just so easy reliable and simple and you can’t beat the customer service.. A+++ for this app and team..

2 years strong!

Update to Developers Response: Well, the app is always available when I need it, support is instant and fees are lower than others. Y'all earned my business the old fashioned way, by simply offering and maintaining an awesome product! Been with these guys for 2 years! Never a hiccup! One time I made a giant miscalculation and their 24/7 chat was able to fix it immediately! Amazing people and amazing app!!!

30 minute transaction taking over 7 hours

I downloaded and reviewed this app just to write this 1 star review. I was trying to exchange Bitcoin for LTC using Changelly through a hardware wallet. I thought it was a cool new feature and wanted to try it. Big mistake. The interface said the transaction should take 30 minutes, but it has been over 7 hours and I still don’t have my money. I’m talking with their support now. Do not make the same mistake as me. Steer clear of Changelly if you can. I’ll delete this review if Changelly reimburses me for my time and frustration. Update: i got my money after 20 hours. Changelly blamed the delay on their exchange partner whom they refused to identify. They also refused to give me a gratuity for my troubles.

Updated Changelly Review

I sent $6k in BNB to BTC from trust wallet to voyager via changelly, and it's been 22 hours, still no btc in my wallet. I've reached out to support and was told i'd hear back in 24-48 hours, which I doubt I will hear anything back. I will never use changelly again. Do yourself a favor and find a different way to exchange your crypto. - update, after reaching out to support, they were able to push my transaction through manually. I did receive my 11 BNB to my wallet. I will officially give changelly 3 stars for almost giving me a heart attack, but it does work, and is not as bad as I painted out to be.

User beware

Read the T&C’s for this shady conversion app. If their “magic” algorithm determines your transactions to be “suspect” in any way, they will HOLD YOUR COINS HOSTAGE until you... 1. Send photo of yourself and ID 2.Send proof of where you purchased or mined the coins 3. Send tax ID Have fun with that second one. Paper trailing coins is nearly impossible for most including me. Also, refusal to explain why i was flagged. If you cant or dont wish to do the above then say goodbye to your coins. I used this app for 3 transactions and was flagged. While they held my coins hostage the value of the trade changed considerably, in their favor. I was firm that after this invasion of my privacy and more importantly holding my money hostage i wanted the original coins returned as i have no interest in using this app. They sent the trade through and told me it was already processed prior to the security check and was out of their hands. Hash data confirmed they traded it 10 minutes after my last email and security check. Liars! Lastly, being based in Prague means no recourse if they just decide to keep your money. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

I was wrong

Changelly is a great way to do your trades, especially if you have a tangem wallet when I was using them I did not realize and this is really stupid of me that you had to manually send your products to them that it didn’t come out of your wallet automatically and I blame them for my mistakes. News and functionality

Changelly is the only exchange I’ve used. Works very well to buy MATIC or Solano. They give options as to where to buy it. I really like the news features on the app as well. I’ve also used customer service, and they’ve helped me understand my needs. I didn’t even know I needed a wallet when I started. I use MetaMask for MATIC and Phantom for Solano.

Iffy

My first two exchange went through perfectly fine. The third one I tried to make something and I had to get live support to help me with my exchange. It took a week to finally get to. Just did another exchange sent the money and the transaction shows on Changelly side that it has failed to go through even though the money is gone from my account. Currently waiting for someone on customer support to respond back to me. If this gets resolved I will change my feedback or write another review, but this being the second time I’ve had an issue with Changelly.

Frustrating customer support

Changelly needs to tell their customers that the best way to resolve issues faster is to use the live chat feature on their website as the ticket support system takes time and it’s frustrating! I had an issue with a transaction a coupla days ago, support ticket system was a waste of time. My issue was only resolved when I was directed to their live chat and I must say I was really impressed when my situation was taken care of in a matter of minutes.

Issues aren’t resolved in a timely fashion

Until this changes I’ll leave this as 1 star It’s been over a month now since Changelly support has had all of my transaction information and I still have not gotten refunded my money. Support says it’s waiting to hear back from their superiors, however week after week there is no update, no projected day by which they’ll resolve the matter, just a continual lack of answers and unknowns. Can NOT recommend this app/company when after searching Google I found MANY similar stories as my own. Maybe one day I’ll get my money back, the jury is still out....

Beware you can loose all your money!!

The customer service are horrible and tell you need wait long long times and finally keep with your coins for your inner peace don't use this service, if you are in same boat call to apple support for report it!! ---- Update: Finally my transaction has been completed, this service have a great idea of exchange services but need very much improvement specially in the customer service area, maybe in the future can be better...

One of my favorite crypto apps!

I trade and buy crypto regularly but I feel like some places take too much off the top, and have extremely long transfer times. We’ll I’ve noticed with changelly I get my crypto significantly faster and at a cheaper price compared to other apps I’ve used before. Definitely recommended! 5 stars is truly a understatement!

Almost perfect

Since my initial transaction, I have never had a single major issue with Changelly. The changes were done swiftly (only one took more than 15 minutes to proceed). They're often adding new currencies to the list, and it's a wonderful way to learn about new altcoins, therefore I definitely suggest it to anybody looking for a new crypto trading platform.

Found Changelly to be one of the best and easiest for swapping into different crypto’s! Recently made a mistake and thought all was lost. Contacted support team about it and they responded right away. Within a few days I had everything back! Highly Recommend them to anyone that asks.

Great experience

Fantastic cryptocurrency app! However, you may only exchange crypto for another crypto, not for US cash. Changelly is a service that allows you to buy cryptocurrency in US dollars. Crypto costs are modest, and customer service is responsive. Because Changelly does not retain users' cash, I believe it to be the safest crypto exchange. The user experience was excellent.

Awesome app

Just so easy and wonderful if you like to keep up on your stocks I have referred over 1200 people just this year !!! They deserve it. Unfortunately I don’t have the money to play right now but I do help 2 friends with there’s I wish I could at the moment hopefully again very soon!!!!

Useful but Not Always Fast

It’s very helping in exchanging one crypto for another (especially if they are rare cryptos or don’t typically have a direct BTC/ETH/USD trading partner). Example - NEXO for USDC. But the transaction confirmation can be slow sometimes (hours or days rather than minutes). That’s not Changelly’s fault. It’s usually a slowness problem with the Bitcoin or Ethereum blockchain confirmation process, but it’s still less than ideal if u want a guaranteed quick crypto swap.

WHERE IS MY MONEY?

Took my money, then informed me that until they verify my identity i can’t do anything. No receipt, no transaction record, no way to contact them... Probably not stolen but if you told me there’s a hold on my money beforehand i would have gone with someone else... EDIT: - I initially gave 1 star but changed it to 5. They do a really bad job at communication and updating you on what’s going on, but literally 5 minutes after i wrote the review my transaction was successful and i got the coins that i bought. App could use some improvement but does the job it promises to do.

Good app, good support

I’m not inept with computers & phones, but I’m no pro either. This app is easy enough to use overall, but if you use the help chat button in the app you’ll get to an agent quickly enough. If your help agent is as good as mine (Aleena, as I recall) you’ll have your issue solved quickly. Good support, good app.

Sweet way to exchange tokens

Changelly works great and has streamlined the process for exchanging less than main stream tokens at a value price. One click and they do the exchange for you instead of you having to trade your ETH for BTC to buy a token that you cannot by directly with BTC for example!!

Very well

Super fast and easy at first i thought it would take long or wouldn’t work but it did. It’s just the minimum amount needed. It would be great if you could lower that to nearly 0 for people who want to deposit just a few dollars

Loving it

I spent three months trying to figure out how to acquire Theta through an LLC in the United States. At the time, I had constructed a Theta wallet. Changelly was finally attempted. Straight from my Kraken BTC account to my Theta Wallet!! It was my first trade outside of an exchange, and it was both simple and terrifying. Changelly has made my life a lot easier.

Great customer service

I used Changelly to exchange a coin for another coin from my freewallet wallet. Freewallet had a massive delay sending out the coins and took longer to send than the time Changelly gives to execute the exchange. When freewallet finally executed the sending of coins, the Changelly contract was expired but freewallet confirmed that it was sent. I spoke to customer service about what happened and they instantly began to execute the exchange. 10 minutes later my exchanged coins arrived in my alternate wallet. Lesson here: freewallet = garbage Changelly customer service = gold Thanks Changelly for quickly responding and resolving

Waste of money.

Tried doing Crypto to crypto transfer. Copy and pasted both my addresses as instructed. Transaction stayed on failed and 5 hours before the transaction was going to cancel, $150 got sent to a random account which was not even close to the address I had typed and they sent my money to some random account!! Be ware! Terrible customer support and very slow, unorganized app overall. Do not recommend. They will lose your money and than blame you. I just got a response from the Developer. Me and all this stuff

If the company would make it easy to understand how to use the site and its features by interviewing a nube like myself and see where they get hung up. The crypto thing is confusing enough but the lack of explanation WITH SO MUCH WHITE SPACE AVAILABLE TO PUT EASY TO UNDERSTANDABLE EXPLANATIONS . That would literally turn it into the information super highway. It feels a little bit more like a dirt road with potholes in it. Please Thanks.

No swapping BTG

I wanted to give this five stars, but it’s been 2-3 days not being able to swap the one crypto I need to swap, and BTG has y’all listed as a partner or whatever as part of their ecosystem. If you can’t work properly, then people shouldn’t use your service. Same thing happened with Exodus wallet. Couldn’t do anything with ADA and they blamed other people, like the exchanges, yet the one they use was able to trade ADA…anyway, maybe I’ll try again after a year or so to give y’all time to get stuff together.

They will rob you

This is a scam app. They don’t do their own payments and the service they use will cause you bank card to be locked down. They will then proceed to charge your card $150. This is such a common thing for them that it’s one of their trouble shooting FAQ. If you contact Changelly they will send you to simplex a third party they use for payment. In any case kiss your money goodbye because both of these companies not going to help you get your money back. Is a different app to buy crypto.

Smooth transaction

Great experience! I was a bit nervous while waiting for my transaction to process because it was a lot of money I was waiting on. It came within an hour though and the support team was very nice.

AMAZE-CHING!

I don’t leave reviews but I needed to cash out on my Shiba and other DeFi tokens, but it takes forever. This was quick and easy! Just be sure to follow all instructions and include the MEMO! This app exceeded my expectations and I will be using this more often! Thanks Changelly!!!

Helpful and Responsive

A friend of mine messed up his memo ID. The support team was quick and efficient at recovering his crypto. The exchange has never failed me, and is how I obtain XRP in the US. Strongly recommend if you are an XRP investor. PS. I’d like to note that the memo ID does not copy and past on IPhone, hopefully this can be resolved in a future update.

SUPER EASY AND SMOOTH

Very easy once you get used to it. A lot of decentralized coins available that you cannot as easily get elsewhere. Just take your time and work slow and you will not have any errors.

I've been using Changelly

I've been using Changelly's on my laptop for a few years, but I recently downloaded the app, and it runs flawlessly and has a user-friendly gui.

Overall has good!!

First transaction took about 3 emails and 4 hours to complete. Every other transaction since has only taken 10-20 mins. But IMO I have since opened accounts with other brokers to get the crypto I want with out the extra transaction fee.

Total Guess Work

If you like anger and frustration use this app! I bought bitcoins but afterwards there was nothing about it ever happening in the app. No information or instructions how to do anything. Nothing is explained. They sucked my money from my account in a second but can’t update my transaction history??? I don’t know if I did it right or got ripped off. No clue. Stay away from this app, far away. 👎👎👎👎👎 No stars, 5 Thumbs Down.

Maybe convenient but very shady

Their site says .25% fee along with standard network fees - this sounds great but they hide a few more fees which will result in total to about 8%. At least that’s what it was for the two swaps I made. When they say standard network fees they don’t mean just the network fees of the coins you are trading but also their own network fee of about 7.7%. On top of this the exchange rate you will get is about 8% lower what you would get on HitBTC exchange which they use.

Something wrong

I used the app a number of times in the Landy and was pleased with it but with the recent update it just showed a white blank page or I try to log in and nothing happens. Please fix this

****SCAMMERS BEWARE****

I have made a transaction from bnb to eth with Changelly did everything they told me to do to process the transaction and they said I was the one who made the mistake here. Gave me a eta of 10 days here I am 12 days later still waiting for a refund and being asked for all the information I originally gave them again they do not know how to process refunds and will delay you to the furthest extent on mistakes they make.

Looked online and it said changelly was legitimate, it’s not. Sent them about $140 in BTC to convert to DOGE and they never sent it. The transaction says it’s complete, they took my BTC, and never gave me my dogecoin. I’ve been messaging their support team and opening complaints on their support website for two days now and they have never replied once. They keep closing my complaints without resolving the issue or contacting me. They are selective scammers. Don’t use this app. Literally stole $140 from me.
