Curious Cat: Paid Surveys

I keep running into this issue where I’ll be halfway through a long survey, like over 10 minutes into it, and I’ll reach a portion of the survey that asks me to switch into landscape mode to proceed. This app does not allow you to switch to landscape mode, at least not on my iPhone it doesn’t. Due to this, I’m forced to exit the survey without payment due to my inability to continue. I’ve even tried to switch to landscape mode manually and it just won’t do it on that app. It’s great otherwise, but I do get rejected from a lot of surveys lately, which is annoying. Some just reject instantly, which I’m fine with, but I’ve had a few surveys which let me complete it entirely just to say that I was screened out or something similar. When do qualify the surveys do pay great, it’s just frustrating

I’ve been doing surveys for over a decade, I’m very aware of the disqualification game. However that is not my issue. Initially downloading the app it seemed like this would be a relatively user-friendly platform for surveys with survey platforms I’m familiar with such as in brain. Going forward just 20 minutes, I’ve had two surveys that I know I would’ve qualified all the way through for crash and freeze on me. Meaning the reason I wasn’t able to complete the survey had nothing to do with me qualifying or not, and everything to do with this app freezing. I’d also like to mention the first survey it tried to give me was a survey that was only for computers. This is a mobile app, the first thing that should be 100% accurate is the fact that the surveys are for a mobile device. If I wanted to do surveys on my laptop I would pull out my laptop and not download these apps. Overall just frustrated with what I’ve seen so far I’ll give it another go and try to get up to the cash out point just to see how that works but my initial reaction is that this app is crap and there’s 100 better ones out there that I could recommend

I was recommend this app from reddit to make some extra cash on the side, so i tired it out. after downloading it gave me 2 “beginner” tasks i guess just to start me out and show me how it works. since then, i haven’t been able to complete ANY TASK. First, days went by with 0 tasks even tho i would get notifications that there are some available. Second, any task i did get, literally EVERY TASK would tell me i’m not qualified. Then finally i’m actually doing a task & i’m kicked off because i “answered too fast”???? the question was “what’s your ethnicity” & “what’s your relationship status” these are NOT HARD QUESTIONS, why so do you expect me to take 30 seconds to answer a question i can answer in 3 seconds. it makes NO SENSE. This app is terrible, it never gives tasks & if somehow you end up getting one, you’ll be kicked off if you answer to fast because it thinks your a bot. when i downloaded the app, it asks me to rate 5 stars to get extra points, CLEARLY that’s where most of your “reviews” are from. Terrible Service.

I’ve made approximately $15 on this app in the last 5 days, and that’s even with being screened out of surveys from time to time because I don’t fit the survey’s demographic needs. Even if you’re denied, Curious Cat pays you 1 point for attempting the survey. That alone has sold me on keeping it and continuing to use it. I’ve told as many people as I could about the app, some are skeptical and some aren’t, their loss if they don’t go for it. I’d love for them to roll out with a paying referral program in the near future. I enjoy the ability to cash out to PayPal at only 100 points (which is actually equal to OVER $1) and you can usually reach that amount taking about 2 surveys, or 1 if you’re lucky. Overall it’s been a pleasant experience and I look forward to continue working with the app to earn the extra easy money!

You can make money with this app! I’ve made $25 in 5 days, there are typically a lot of surveys and you can make even 1pt for deferrals. You can get your money via PayPal and it hits your account instantly ...HOWEVER, you will finish a lot of surveys and then it doesn’t redirect back to the right spot or claims there’s some error. You won’t get the points you earned, and there doesnt seem to be a way to report it and get the points you rightfully made. I’ve reported surveys as well as emailed curious cat about all the surveys I’ve been screwed over. I haven’t heard anything yet and I don’t have my points. I’ve made over $5 worth of surveys that I didn’t get credit for.

Just before writing this review I decided to finally uninstall the CuriousCat Surveys app because for the past few weeks there have been zero surveys available for me. As a survey app, it does its job well and there *is* actual pay-out (I got about 8 dollars after two weeks of having the app and grinding as many surveys as were available), but it can be real lackluster. Getting the daily notification about how 2k+ surveys were added only to open the app and find that none of them were a match for me was pretty disappointing. I understand that it’s not necessarily the app or app developer’s fault that I haven’t gotten many matches, but if I’m making less than a dollar a month I don’t need the app anymore. TLDR: Screenouts are the devil, quick cash is always nice, don’t download with the assumption you’ll be ringing in stacks.

I’ve used this app on and off for a few years. After a steep decline over the last few months, the app is now unusable. I’ve tried to access several surveys a day, and I either get a “bad request” message or a “survey no longer available” message. I’m also not qualifying for many of the surveys that work and will get terminated for the survey already reaching its quota or for “quality” reasons. This is when you spend an appropriate amount of time and effort on answering questions honestly and the survey company decides to use your input without paying you and accusing you of cheating. Curious Cat used to be the best survey platform out there because you get real cash (paid through PayPal) and only need $2 to cash out. But now it’s taking forever to make $2 because of all of the problems with surveys. I will give it another chance isn a few weeks, but if I don’t see any improvement, I will delete this app.

Sooo I’ve had this app for years. And I did like it a lot, I’ve cashed out several times before. But a few days ago they kept saying I was being screened out of surveys due to the quality of my answers. Which is weird because I’ve ALWAYS been honest with my answers and never had any issues up until now. Now today I go on the app and it says suddenly my account is locked and I have to email support. I click the link, sent the email, annnnd got an automated email back saying the recipient’s email provider rejected the email. So now I can’t even get assistance for whatever the heck is going on. I’m so mad. I didn’t DO anything! Can I just cash out my 64 cents and move on so that I didn’t waste my time? This is ridiculous. Oh also I emailed support about the surveys screening me out and never got a response and now THIS email won’t send? Funny how that works, right?

So, I love and hate this app. I love this app because there are usually a lot of surveys to choose from. Also, you can cash out at a dollar. The fact that you can you cash out via PayPal, Venmo, gift card or even donate to charity is appealing. So that makes it easy to get a few extra dollars. However, there are some things I hate. First. A lot of times you get kicked out of the survey or even worse you get kicked out at the end and only warn 2 credits. The worst thing I hate is the fact there is a “cash out” limit, which makes it annoying and frustrating if you’ve stored a lot of credits. Although it’s a love hate thing, I still recommend the app if your looking to earn a few extra dollars while your in your free time.

This app actually pays out unlike most! I’m three days in with exactly $7 that have already gone through to my actual BANK!! So yes, it does give real money and it doesn’t take forever. You can cash out at 100 points = $1! Surveys typically can go up to 85 points per, for 20 minute longer surveys! So 2 surveys or sometimes one, and you have yourself a dollar! So it’s a nice small side income as long as you dedicate at least an hour of your time each day to complete all of your surveys! But every dollar counts, so just know you’re not wasting your time! I wish more apps like this actually paid out like Curious Cat!

So I reaaaally wasted my time on this app. It seems fun and cute, easy and organized.. until you try to take surveys 🥵 you click on a survey and it opens an internet window which takes you to the survey, which takes you to another survey.. and another.. I was answering questions for over 20 minutes and the survey said oops you’re not qualified because they want answers from someone of a different race (which is fine) but my race was question #3!! Don’t you think they could have told me before I answered 50 other questions? Makes me think they took the info anyway but didn’t give me points. Most of the surveys are hard for me to load and need to be constantly refreshed. Overall I just spent a good 1-2 hours trying to hold out hope for this app and I wasted my time. Download something else☹️.

It’s real, and i recommend this app! Edit extra:If you are just a person that’s reading reviews to see if the app is fake or not, please note that you may not be able to loggin to your account if you have a very bad internet connection, and you also need to be in a country that supports this app. Main Edit: But there’s a few problem i have had in the last 3 days. I (once) completed a survey, and i didn’t get rewarded, which is not Curious Cat’s fault, it could potentially be the way the survey was implemented to disqualify you, and steal your data. Second, a lot of surveys disqualify me, for quality, quota limit, etc, before i even see a single question, so i open the survey, instant disqualification, and i sometimes don't get the single cent, but that’s alright. And third, the description tells you that an average varies between 20 and 200 points, and i haven’t seen a single one with three digits (100+), would love to know why that is so. Thank you I advance!

This app started out really well. No bugs or glitches, payout was simple. Now it’s taking 20 minutes to do a survey listed as 0-2 minutes and then screens you out on the nearly last question. Now it’s logged me out, asks me to confirm my phone number and yet just keeps sending me in circles with the same question and a broken support link. Don’t waste your time.

I appreciate an easy way to earn money while offering some time for surveys, unfortunately I didn’t get a lot of points because survey pages keep crashing or the survey took longer than listed to complete and they expired so I got nothing for those. Especially concerning that these crashes or timeouts happen after I gave personal information for “research purposes.” But since I’ve only used the app for a day I will give it a chance. If problems continue to persist than I will delete to protect my identity. Edit: 1/14 surveys actually worked. The other 13 either screened out because it took to long to complete on time, crashed, or I don’t meet the target demographic for the survey. This app is a good idea, but needs a lot of work.

I have been taking surveys on curious cat for a few months now maybe a couple of months, on and off, and I’ve made some pocket change already, and even though I don’t take service every day, it’s fun to take them, and earn a little bit extra. A little bit helps either way. I love this app, I wish I could see the pictures of the cats, however, with my vision impairment, I’m not able to, however, it is very accessible, and screen reader friendly for the blind. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been using this app for years with some success and so I’ve been a loyal survey taker with curious cat for a while.. until now. The last several surveys I have completed today have brought me to a final page that will say something along the lines of “survey complete” or “finished, thanks for completing”, etc... usually at the point the page woud then redirect me back to the curious cat page that would say “success!” And j would receive my reward. However, this is no longer happening even though the app states I had completed the surveys successfully. This is wasting my time and as well as not compensating me for a successful survey. I reported several of them for this today. Please fix this immediately and I’ll change my rating to 5 stars.

There are much better survey apps out there. None of the surveys give an accurate time estimate and they take you to all sort of different links (rather than staying within the app) most of which struggle to load. Then after you’ve already answered dozens of questions it will crash or say you don’t qualify and give you only 1 point (1 cent). The only one I actually got credit for completing was the ‘get started’ survey for 5 points (cents) despite completing another starting survey that was meant to be worth 80. To make it worse, they also ask you the same questions over and over rather than saving off your basic info. Who knows how much time and info you’d have to give just to reach $1 to cash out. The app is basically a scam to take your info without paying you

Now to be completely honest, this app is great. I’ve cashed out on easily over twenty something dollars within the last few months. It’s a great app. Simple registration, a wide variety of surveys, and great minimum payout amount. My only concern is that recently the app has been completely devoid of surveys. This has been an ongoing issue for a few weeks now. And it’s frustrating that I can’t do anything to fix it. Nothing loads now whereas before I would get upwards of twenty different results to choose from. I like this app. I wanna continue using it because it’s come in clutch a few times, but if the issue is not fixed then imma have to opt out

Albeit it isn't always easy to take the surveys, sometimes I just put in my gender and it goes "you don't qualify" but I *have* been earning a bit of money from these. You won't be rolling in a large amount of cash unless you qualify for every single survey but hey, money is money, and it lets you cash out the moment you have 100 points, but I'd recommend saving them up to cash out all at once, it feels better like that :D

This app is great, I’ve had it almost three weeks now and I’ve earned over 17$. I’ll say I’ve been rejected from 80% off the surveys and I still warned that much. It is frustrating getting rejected but I understand that they’re looking for a specific group and I wasn’t a match. I recommend using this app if you’re bored and like taking surveys, you’ll make some pocket change just for answering questions!

I been a user of this app for the past 3 years and I’ve enjoyed everything about it up until my account was locked all of a sudden, the app asks you to contact customer support. No problem doing that but YOU WILL NEVER GET A REPLY, EVER! The developers will reply to this review faster than any email. I’ve even tried messaging them via Facebook Messenger thinking it would be quicker, NOPE! Still no reply. I’ve been more than patient, like 2 in a half months patient. Even if they have a lot of emails they could be more professional when it comes to handling these things. I haven’t done anything fraudulent, this really made me less of a fan of curious app and I will be reporting it.

The app starts out great, and then the cash payout changes for you. No explanation unless you reach out. If you go through the app, expect to wait for some time. If you find them on Facebook and message on one of their posts, they are extremely fast at responding. Then one day the surveys stop coming in. Again, no immediate explanation. After about 10 or so days, I ask why. Only got a response through a public Facebook post. Basically, they passive/aggressively tell you haven’t been honest. You’ll know you’ve been honest every single time. Doesn’t matter. They tell you researchers have blocked you because of this. So, now you have points that don’t meet the minimum, and no way to gain the points needed to cash out. They will call it policy. I call it theft. Want a decent app?… Check out Premise. They have cash out minimums, but they are consistent, with surveys every day. Curious Cat will only be good for a little while before they do to you what they did to me.

I downloaded this app last year to make a few extra bucks for a concert trip I was going on. I made around $25 in just a few days. It might not seem like a lot but money adds up! However, I’ve tried using this app multiple times over the last few months and none of the surveys work anymore. It’ll either close me out and say I don’t qualify for it at the very beginning, or it’ll let me get until the very end and do it. I’m super disappointed because this is one of the only apps that have ever worked well for me.

I’ve decided to delete the app as quickly as I installed it, but only because I can’t see any of the text. I know there are surveys or tasks or something available to me. And I was able to do the initial profile quiz just fine. But there’s some kind of message that pops up every time I open the app and there are buttons that give me the option of “maybe later” and “okay” but I have no idea what the choice is I’m actually making. I can see the tiles for the surveys or whatever they are, but I can’t see any text to tell me what the tiles represent. There’s just a lot that needs fixed before this app is ready and I don’t trust it yet.

This is the Best survey app ever, this is my all time favorite app! I am extremely happy with the amount of surveys and payouts I’ve received so far! When I cash out to my PayPal account it literally takes like seconds and my money is instantly in my account and available to use! I am so grateful❣️ Long Live Curious Cat App! I this app I definitely like this app it dose pay for your time but be honest with the question so you don’t get kicked off and then you don’t get your points 100 points is a dollar and that when you can cash out it went right to my pay pal I really was shocked when it came though and it went tho fast

I have been using this app for a while and love the fact that I only need 100 paw points to cash out to my paypal,it comes in handy when your short on some cash I Gave 4!stars because sometimes I am not qualified for the survey which is disappointing but at least I get 1 paw point I’ll give 5 stars when we get maybe 5 pawpoint for every unqualified survey.

Curious Cat is an amazing app which did surprise me quite a bit with them allowing to cash out with such a little total. But the ONLY downfall is guessing when new surveys will be up. I searched when they refresh and as said on the internet, the surveys refresh every 30 minutes. But it’s more like every 2-3 hours, but it’s worth it as a side hustle! Look into it and thank you to the devs behind this app!

I was excited to download the app. I did the tasks and had 15-20 dollars added into my pay pal account When there were more tasks I started one up and it locked up & then I was locked out of my account for days. I contacted help and it took them weeks and several emails to them to unlock my account. When it was finally unlock I mysteriously do not get anymore tasks at all.. it’s been a few weeks. I have contacted them 2-3 times and still have not received a response or reason why.

So I have been using this app for a little bit…works great up until the time you decide to or need to change your payout method, even after verifying all in the info, the app automatically locks your account to send you through maze of requested information…my account was locked reviewed and verified subsequently unlocked once I attempted to payout with the updated payout method a 2nd round account reviewing is now underway…I will be deleting this app if I run into any issues getting this rectified.

This may be the best app I’ve done so far for surveys and the surveys are ridiculously long like most , it’s a great way to make extra cash for your pocket in your spare time , and if your Consistent with it you’ll make a decent amount to be able to pay your little bills here and there I’m very impressed!! Please keep up the great work that you guys do!

Well or a few hours depending how many surveys you do. You can even cash out after only 100 points which = $1 and it’s fairly easy to earn especially if you complete a few surveys

It’s a good app which I recommend for every one as I’ve been paid once. But, after that and every time i receive a new task, it keeps saying “unfortunately, you haven’t qualified for any surveys at this time, we hope you’ll try again later”. I am very annoyed by this error as it happened with more than 10 tasks. Thanking you again!!

You can cash out at 100 points and they deposit your money within 5 minutes Have been in app lest than a week and have cashed out 3 times already Unlike other apps if you do not qualify you still get a point for trying A+. Download this app and delete the others

I had this app for about 3days and in that time I was able to make 20$ with Little time spent if you really wanna earn money this app is the one for you !!! All you need is 100 points which equals over 2$ and they have had surveys I seen pay all the way up to 500 coins give it a try you won’t regret it !!!

Just about any high point survey I select takes me through survey, taking the total time needed in most cases, then survey kicks me out with Quota already met message, and I do not get the points which is cash. This is a waste of my time and the survey site does NOTHING with this kind of constructive feedback. They could stop these scammy survey sites but they allow them to waste our time. Cashing out and deleting app but wanted to warn others before I do.

I have tried other survey apps and all of them have been scams except for Curious Cat. It actually lets you transfer your earnings immediately to your PayPal account. Other apps claim to do this but when it comes down to being paid they are scams. I really love Curious Cat because they are honest and pay you for your time. Thanks Curious Cat.

One day I go on the app to see my account has been locked. They tell me that I was “flagged” and “deactivated” for giving answers that don’t match or answering too fast. I’ve been a member of many survey platforms this last decade and not once have I had an account deactivated. And if you’re like me who actually takes too long to finish a survey & not get credit, cash out your points as soon as you get to the one dollar mark so you don’t lose out on what’s yours by the time they deactivate you too.

So I’ve used this app maybe there four days and I am like literally addicted. It’s fun it kills time it’s cute I mean what more could you really want for an app that pays you? so honestly give it a try I can promise you you won’t regret it.

First I don’t don’t review to much but this one is just different I’m not say it’s perfect on every survey but they try and it’s just a great built app it runs great and I have tried everyone of these survey apps there are only some I kept this is the top one again IMO everyone have a great day!

I love that I can make money by giving my opinions with this app. The only issue I have been experiencing is that I have reached out to customer service regarding an error when I cash out. I’m still waiting on a response but other than that I love this app.

This app is amazing they really do pay out get the app and make money. By the way you have to cash out at 100 points but it doesn’t take that long to get 100 points 100 points is the equivalent of one dollar and a pair of instantly to your PayPal email

I know I’m not always part of the target audience, but I still am able to complete quite a few surveys - many more than on other survey apps. This runs efficiently, and is a great app. I’m very pleased to have found it.

Good app, you can cash out at one dollar unlike similar survey site where the required amount to cash out is ridiculous, like $30. The app is very user friendly and well organized, surveys are pretty quick. I definitely recommend it.

The surveys are easy and the payouts hit your PayPal account in seconds. Amazing. I can only give it 3 stars because it’s incredibly buggy. Only because I’m tech savvy and I know how to workaround buggy apps was I able to get this to work, but the biggest problem is being unable to type in your email or phone number whilst registering

I have a friend who mentioned this app to me about 2 weeks ago. We both downloaded it and signed up. Not even 5 minutes after signing up we’re both locked out of our accounts and are told to email the Support Team. It took them 2 weeks to get back to her and I still haven’t heard anything from them. Now she’s able to get into her account but ironically doesn’t have any surveys to do. Not sure what the issue is but I really wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone.

I actually really liked this app when I first started using it. But I can longer complete any surveys. I’m not sure what Survey routers they are using, but I don’t qualify for any of them. It’s the one with the red and green circle that spins after answering like 4 questions. I immediacy get a page that tells me I’m disqualified. And I don’t even get the 1 can’t thanks for trying penny. This app is awful now. I don’t know what you guys have done, but you need to find a new survey router. Because what’s the point when you can’t use the app.

Use to always be my go to survey app because it always had decent high paying Survey’s like 100 points and up. However, for a while now all I have been getting are surveys that’s only worth small points (change). What happened Curious Cat? I may have to switch back to the competition where they are consistently offering decent paying surveys.

I LOVE THIS APP . Definitely would recommend it’s worth doing the surveys are great not hard ,not long once you reach a $1 you can cash out etc. But Lately I have not gotten any surveys it’s been like a month now . Plus I’ve been getting locked out of my account just randomly so.. hopefully I’ll get some more soon or I’ll be removing the app .

I was on here years ago when they first started it was a great way to make money. Now I will tell u what happened I kept getting disqualified for surveys and it would send me back to the app I had some money I made already prior well curious cat banned me and took my earnings as well. I was unable to even say anything just booted off I worked hard surveying those and then u take it how is that even fair? You are so wrong for what you guys did to me.
