Dear developer kindly look at all flaws on this new updated page. User can not make date selection while making payment. Schedule payment is not an option here. You have to pay on the same date. New UI is like apple card but it is not good as it used to be. Please revert back to old system. I’ve stopped using this card because of this UI flaws. Make it simple page view instead of big round circle view
This is one of the most frustrating and disappointing app I’ve ever used. Who’s idea was it to move away from the old app that existed a year ago? It was easy for me to check my credit score, which isn’t available on this new app. If it does, then it’s hidden somewhere I might need a compass to find. You chose to go with fancy design instead of actual substance. The app looks like it was design by a grade 1 students (no offense, that’s how terrible this app is). Please, get somebody who knows what they’re doing to design this app. Or better still just go back to the old app before this new one was introduce. I enjoyed using this app because of its simplicity. Kindly go back to that. Thanks.
For the people that are saying the new update is horrible, I wouldn’t know since I haven’t even been able to get into my account. The birthday slider is messed up and wouldn’t allow me to input my birthday. There’s no app support. I guess I’m left paying my bill on the online webpage. There’s no notifications when there is money spent anymore. If you use this, use this for what it is, a starter credit card.
Deserve was my first credit card and my main credit card to date (4 years). I’ve never had any issues with customer service or being charged unnecessarily. I think the app update offers some cool aids in money tracking. But I really miss the credit score checker.
No dark mode in the app or dark mode icon, no way to switch to another credit card from deserve, and terrible UI. Feel like deserve’s own credit card apps and offerings are an afterthought compared to their business credit card services which is disappointing
Hi Team i made the payment but its took a whole 10 days circle to complete you payment no other credit card does that and also you guys don’t even provide rewards points to reedem I didn’t see any reward points towards my statement but still i am being showed 55 $ of rewards but you guys are saying i already redeemed it lol and now the balance is 2 dollars you guys are the real nutcrackers i believe the worst company so far i have seen in credit card
This app is trash even though I pay my amount in full every month it started to charge me interest literally on 0 dollars and it charge me interest twice in the same month on a 0 dollar. I called to close the account they said they closed it yet I m still able to log in and the new design is horrible everything is missing and it’s broken like nothing works
Terrible company, scam of a card and bad customer service. Leadership must have no ethics because it shows in its employees. Founder of the company should go into a new business.
I’m being charged with the Interest even though I paid my bill in full. They’re literally charging interest on $0 bill. You guys updated the app in 2 years and that too with the worst update. I can’t even see if I have a scheduled payment or not and I paid the bill twice. Not so user friendly and worst.
Going to star with this - I have reached out MULTIPLE times and have gotten no response. Had as a credit card for years and was wonderful. Couldn’t find my card for a while and because of the new app I can’t cancel it!! I also have been charged interest on a fully paid card now! Just reported to BBB. This is ridiculous
I wish I never signed a contract with them. It was 8 years ago in college. Now I can’t even use the card correctly. The app is horrid I can’t navigate anymore since they “upgraded” it. The company doesn’t care about their users at all.
If you change your phone number you are forever locked out of the account and the app has no contact nor any way to change it. Can’t even cancel the card. Guess it will be a card that just collects dust.

Decent starter card but ruined by criminally high APR, no option to increase credit limit, lackluster customer support, and a terrible app update. Once I pay off my balance soon, I’m gone for good.
Credit card itself is okay, pretty mediocre benefits compared with other options. No international fees was the original driver for my usage. The app itself is okay, pretty straightforward for the most part. Recently I switched banks and now as I try to add a new payment source the app continues to crash. Come to find out (as you can see on the app store) Deserve has not pushed out an update in over 2 years (as of July ‘23). Disappointed to see that, unfortunately will definitely not be renewing my account once my card expires.
I'm really confused and tired of this I live in a school dorm, so we don’t have any utility bill (I had mentioned this twice time) Last time your team told me to ask the school to have an official letter to proof my resident address. Everyone from your team gave me different answer or responses The first time (on phone) : you guys told me to send my "Bank Statement" The second time (Email and phone) : you guys told me you can't accept a bank statement and ask me to provide the utility bill. But I live in the school dorm, so I don't have any utility bill, so your team told me to ask my school to have an official letter with my name and address with it. The third time (Email) : you guys received my official school letter, but you said I will not in the current dorm (address) during the summer semester, so I need to provide my new address during the summer(I did it and sent it with the last email) This time (Email) : Now you told me I need to ask my school to have a utility bill, our school doesn't provide a utility bill of the dorm, they only provide an official letter to prove my dorm address. (my school is also confusing about this situation, it doesn't happen before) Again, I really tired of this, and why you sent me the card before finish this process or fixing this problem, it doesn't makes sense you providing a none working card to your customer.
Nice app with an intuitive interface however there are some suggestions for a better user experience. #1 Whenever the app is minimized, the session times out instantly and I’ve to login back again which is not very favorable. #2 browsing my statements are not viewable all the time and sometimes take forever to load the statement. I’ve to admit that my statement with Deserve looks very comprehensible and neat compare to some other well known credit card companies, so I appreciate that very much. Other than that I’m satisfied with the experience. Thanks.
Definitely the worst service. Helpless. I got locked out of my online account because they filed my birthday wrong. So every time I try to verify it, they say my information is wrong. I say I know, it’s THEIR mistake, and they say “oh just log in online and change it!” Which I WOULD IF I WASNT LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. Now they want me to send sensitive information through an unsecured email.... the place is a joke. Customer service is helpless. I’ll ask a question and they’ll respond “is there anything else I can help you with” completely avoiding my question. Please just for the headache you’d go through if you ever needed help with customer service, choose a different credit card company.
This updated app is a clean and fast. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Functionality seems broken in several key areas. Mystery Accounts: When trying to make payments, the linked accounts are displayed, but crucial information is missing. Nicknames or labels assigned to the accounts during setup are nowhere to be found. This makes it impossible to know which account you're selecting! Especially if I am selecting a Debit Card Transaction Black Hole: Recent transactions are conspicuously absent. Keeping track of your spending becomes an exercise in frustration. Inaccurate Information: To top it all off, the available credit information seems unreliable. This is a major red flag when it comes to managing your finances. Overall, this update is a big disappointment. Hopefully, the developers will address these critical issues soon. Until then, the app is more of a hindrance than a helpful tool.
As much as I’ve been impressed with my Deserve EDU card and its customer service, the app is definitely a low point of the Deserve experience. There’s no way to get your card details in the app, there are very few financial insights, and the overall design is just clunky and unpolished. It even hides your status bar (time/signal strength) when the device’s dark mode setting is enabled. I really wish Deserve would take a page out of Robinhood/CashApp/Petal’s book when it comes to app design. At least implement a dark mode!
Worst of all the credit cards is DESERVE Credit service
When you have any complain with DESERVE Credit Cards and you request the customer service they will always have a non agreeing answer for your request and if you tell them you dislike their services. They will force you to leave eventually. It is a low class company more of a SCAM and they probably prey on you; to have debt on their credit cards, so you have to pay interest and no matter how good of a customer you are. They don’t care. They will remove you and not bat an eye. WORST !!! WORST !!! WORST !!! WORST !!! WORST !!! WORST !!!
There was an unauthorized transaction, so I went ahead and filed a fraudulent complaint. My card was blocked which I get it. It was time to pay my monthly bill, so I called in the customer service, oh god it took me 30 mins just to make her understand the situation and ask her to send a replacement card. I was transferred twice, she said I will receive my card in 20 days, I still haven’t received my card. So now I have to go through the customer service again and pay my bill. Please guys don’t get this credit card.
Never had a problem before but for the past few weeks the app literally doesn’t work. Instead of showing past transactions it only says “loading” forever. I’ve had to use the website instead since the app is useless now. Please fix this! I really liked the convenience of the app when it worked.
Great card for international students without SSN, don’t need to give a deposit to get a real credit card! Love the real-time transaction notification, freeze and unfreeze card features. Friendly customer service, very patient to explain all my questions, highly recommend!
Love the app interface, very intuitive to the end user. Love the instant notifications, helps me be aware of all transactions and if there is any unauthorized transaction. Highly recommend it to all students who are starting to build out their credit history.
Deserve has provided a great platform for students like me in building credit history. They are constantly providing new features like SMS notifications and now this app. Though most bank already provide this essentials but they don’t provide facility to open credit without SSN. Keep up your good work Deserve/Selfscore
Everything is good, the customer service is great but the application is like for 10 years ago and it appears they don’t even want to fix this issue. It been two months that I have this card but they didn’t give any update to make this application look better.
Love that I get a real time push notification for every purchase transaction. I use the app to do everything with my account: transaction reviews, schedule payments, see my rewards, enable international purchases, freeze and unfreeze my card, and more!
I got credit card when I just got out of college and was trying to build a credit history. The benefits have improved over time and this credit card will always stay in my wallet.
I really like the Deserve card. It’s modern and sleek. I’m an international student and me and my friends use it all the time. We even get rewards by referring our friends. What fun! Anywho, its my favorite credit card - I didn’t even know that was possible :)
The new UI design is simply terrible. While the old UI would plainly show exactly what autopay was scheduled, the new one shows it nowhere, even clicking through menus. The only way to find out what statement balance it plans to pay is to go look at the last statement (also difficult to find in this UI). Quite frankly, I don’t think they could’ve designed a worse system if they had been trying.
This app isn't very good at all. It's slow & glitchy, & I can never set up auto pay. It also won't let me add my debit card/bank account to manually pay either. I get through the entire process & it tells me I've successfully linked my account but then when I go to press "Continue," it tells me there was an error & something went wrong. I've tried several times on multiple occasions to no avail. Very frustrating.
The app is pretty good, but I’ve been having issues on adding a bank as a payment method with the app. Every time I hit the “more banks” button, the app crashes. I’m using an iPhone 13 Mini, could be that the app is poorly optimized, I hope this changes soon.
I am able to sign in using the standard login credentials and biometrics but I have not been able to get any transactions to load for a couple months now. No updates have fixed this. I’ve tried reinstalling but nothing. Have to use the website to stay in the loop with my account.
It’s a great app, but I do have a problem which Is that I couldn’t add it to my apple wallet. Everything time I click it, it brings me to the apple wallet app but nothing shows up. Please fix this! It would be great!
It has a simple layout and is easy to use. But lately ,even after updating the app, nothing loads on the screen after I sign. This began 2 weeks ago and I went back to using my computer to check on my statements/transactions. Any troubleshooting advices?!
What’s the point of making an app which does not let me login? Every time I try to login, I get the activate the card or change the password before logging in to deserve mobile. I cannot activate already activated card again and tried changing the password. Also, can I see my statements when I login from a browser please? Everything loads up except the part where I can see my statements.
Alerts me about all purchases instantly. Allows me to dispute transactions seamlessly. Also allows me to check my credit score. Better than all the others.
I have been a customer for a long time now. I like almost everything about it except the part of only 1% cash back and no more added bonuses and features. The other thing is there is no virtual card available! We’re in 2022 and there must be a virtual card linked to every credit card!
The app allows you to log in but then shows a loading symbol and will not load any of the app features, even to pay your bill. No update has fixed this, and I have to pay my bills using their browser site. What is the point of having an app if it doesn’t work?
Requesting developer to integrate your app with Mint app. And allow the card information to be seen from that app. This is the only card which doesn’t provide you that access.
In today’s market I expect a FinTech product such as a credit card to be top notch. This application, their website and sign up process is less than professional. App shuts down, lots of bugs, UI paradigms do not follow established industry norms. Awful user experience. A third grader with a crayon could have done better.
