When it worked, this app was excellent! I much appreciated the alternative to the web version of the Hub. Unfortunately after upgrading to a new iPhone 13 Pro Max (and transferring apps), the app just hangs on the initial blue/purple loading screen (with the logo and loading “sparkle” circle). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that might fix it with no success. Would love to see an update released that gets things working again on the new devices!
For the iPhone, please bring the calendar section back from the toggle switch
Before you made the changes in the toggle switch where there are calendar events and there’s a calendar tools and the profile you guys removed the calendar and put a notification in box from the search bar to the taco menus. I don’t like that because when I was using the Calendar, help me see my schedules and it was a lot better to see them without going to the cast mobile and screenshot every part of my work schedule just to see my work schedules. It would be nice to bring back the calendar with the schedules that I work for because it helps me see, what time my schedule and where I’m gonna be at and it was big enough to see and it was easier for my eyes to see it. Going through that mobile section needs more improvement to for those that are legally blind or totally blind to help them see their schedules, a little bit better and make the font size a little bit bigger. Please bring back the calendar section because that was a very good improvement for those that are legally blind that can use that for their schedules and to see where they need to go to and what time they need to be there. please also remove the inbox and move it somewhere else. At least move it to the search bar area. It would be easier. please fix these improvements as soon as possible.
Thank you for fixing the broken link in this app. I had previously left negative rating that I now, want to change. I brought to your attention that the log in link was not working properly and, I’m blown away how fast and, responsive your team was at addressing and fixed the issue. This is a fantastic app, the app I rely on for a lot of important information. Thank you from the bottom of my heart at restoring my faith in humanity. You all are the best.
Calendar Button removed - Not Neurodiverse-Friendly
We believe the app is a employee work assistance tool, right? Seeing our work schedule, at a glance, should be the top, or at least one of the top features. Adding additional barriers to access, goes against our 3 of 5 keys: Courtesy, Inclusion (I.e. neurodiversity), and Efficiency. Feature was removed with the recent app update. Instead of one click, I have to sign into through app, go through 3 steps, sign on again, to see the schedule. App has many great other features but honestly no point in having it downloaded. I rather log in one time to the website, and 1-2 clicks to see the schedule. Disappointing. - iOS user
This app is great however, all of a sudden the notifications will say there’s a notification when there’s nothing and it won’t go away. I did the reset, delete and re download and finally asked anyone else if they are having this issue and they all said yes. I hope it gets fixed soon so I can turn my notifications back on. Turning them off was the only way to get rid of them.
FINALLY!! It’s about time the HUB gets an actual app! It does have quite a long buffer/loading time and it’s quicker to pull up my schedule on safari than wait for it to be done loading just to log in. There is weird glitching between clicking on something and opening it like a browser. When this happens there is more glitching between typing things in and getting stuck zoomed in and zoomed out
Before the last update a month ago it worked great loved it. But since then it keeps saying I have a notification so I go into the app to see what it is and nothing. So I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and it still has the notification on it. I hate unread notifications so seeing it there and I can’t do anything about it is frustrating.
In order to sign into your new phone, you must first sign out of your old phone and erase and refresh it so it doesn’t have any of your old data on or attached to it. After you’ve reset your old phone, wait a few minutes and then you will be able to sign into your new phone. Hope this helps
I love the app, it’s brilliant. But I keep getting bugged (haha) at the fact that I always open it, it stays in the navy screen and I have to completely close it and open it again so the sign in button appears. I would also like to be able to take screenshots without Edna Mode’s stern look telling me I did something wrong. I have short memory Edna, I just wanna have my schedule handy. Thank you.
THE MAIN THING and most important thing I use this app for is the convenience in checking my schedule, calling late or calling out or requesting leader call-back… for the last few days that has not been available and it’s really irritating! I’ve signed out and signed back in multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and NOTHING is being back that convenience. I can’t see my schedule and the tab for it is now for notifications of which do not MATTER I. My everyday life the way my schedule does. Please fix this issue!
The update seemed to have a forced update and now the schedule tab is gone. I had to delete and reinstall the app, it fixed the issue but when I went back to the app, the schedule tab is gone again. And so are the view pay stub and view paid time off buttons are gone under the profile tab. Please fix!
ever since the update, my schedule tab at the bottom has been missing. I have to go through tools, find schedule view, then navigate through that to view my schedule. It is very frustrating & inconvenient. I uninstalled & reinstalled the app & it appeared to be fixed. I clicked on the tab & it stayed on the loading screen & eventually told me I don’t have access. Now the schedule tab is missing again. This new update has added a stress to my work day that I honestly do not need.
I have no idea who’s idiotic idea it was to take away the schedule tab at the bottom of the screen.. it made everything so much easier to view and to take action on shifts without having to open up the actual schedule website… I don’t even know who approved it because who the actual eff would want that to be changed to an inbox tab of all things??? I never touched the inbox tab before 😭 why would I start now.. bring back the schedule tab
For a company with a bunch of money it’s embarrassing that they cant have a funcional app for the workers that make their magic!! The most important part of this app is the schedule and its gone!! Update; thank you for listening to our concerns and fixing the calendar issue.
Since the last update 2 weeks ago, the app will not show the sign in option. It stays on the cast life screen. In order to get the app to work you have to turn your phone off and reboot. I have uninstalled the app a few times and reinstall but that does not seem to fix the issue. When the app is 100% working it is a great app.
Not sure if it’s just me, but I have to log in to the app every time I use it. If I’m going to have to log in anyway, I might as well just use The Hub. Also the app prevents you from taking screenshots of your schedule. It’s MY schedule, why can’t I save it? At least make a feature that syncs to your iPhone calendar.
After a much needed update, this app will let Disney Cast Members access all TWDC features such as HR, payroll, shift calendar, Rostr, etc. The ONLY thing I will critique is the calendar lacking the necessary shift trade feature (which you’d have to do from a browser on your phone; i.e. Chrome, Safari)
Unfortunately, the app has never worked in either my old iPhone 8+ or new iPhone 12. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app several times, and the updates don’t affect the functionality either. Currently it opens to the purple screen with the Disney copyright on the bottom briefly, and then to a completely blank white screen. (I can’t access schedule view via the website version, either.) Would be great if I had access, please!
This app is looking great, but it undermines its own convenience, by making me reload the app just to get a “sign in” button. Lose the fancy intro logo-sequence that slows down the app actually loading, and make it so I can sign in with biometrics. I love the app once I’m in it, but it’s annoying having to try several times- every. Single. Time.
When I can get into the app it’s great, but every time I open it, I get the loading screen then nothing. I have to close the app and then reopen it to be given the sign in screen and even then if I switch back to the app while still having it open I’m made to sign in again. It feels like more work was put Into making the loading screen 50th anniversary appropriate. Again I love the app when it works it’s just a pain to get it to work.
Can’t access anything of importance my roster my schedule or my record card its taking longer to authenticate anything it wont save my trusted browser i always have to two step verify and it just spins and spins with no search results
This app is never consistently working. Some days it’s smooth and then the next you’re fighting for your life just to check your schedule or call in late. Honestly if you’re considering working for disney and you have other jobs in mind already just save yourself and go with other jobs you may have lined up. I promise no matter how frustrating this app is it will be the least of the frustrations you’ll have working for the devil.
I hope this is brought up quickly and established with in an update. Not being able to trade through the app and having a pop up open instead? I know it’s something in the right direction, but hope for something to come.
App doesn’t open, freezes on the title screen, doesn’t keep you logged in, schedule should be the first thing you see when it opens, screenshot warning message needs to be removed and it just reroutes you to the website on almost anything you click on. This app has a long way to go before it can even be considered as decent. I’ll go back to using the website until this app is fixed and improved.
Never in my life did I think that someone could create such a horrible application…There’s so many bugs on this app it’s not even funny. No, I don’t want to have to reinstall the app every 10 minutes because these devs can’t seem to fix one bug. It’s crazy that Disney is a multi billion dollar company, but can’t seem to hire some great dev team that can put together a functional application.
App needs the ability to export schedule so it can be imported into user’s calendar app. This should be fairly trivial using .ics standards. The company would benefit by fewer errors being made by users because the current manual entry by users is error prone.
Have to see schedule in military time via the hub when that should have been discontinued, new update removed the calendar view tab with my schedule in local time so much unneeded headache
I’m having the same issue with the app ,the blue circle just shows app but doesn’t change from there.I installed the app and I’m installed and she shows the same results. I have the 13 pro and with my old iPhone 11 it didn’t have no issues with the app.
They should incorporate a group messaging feature for the different areas to make things easier to do announcements and just be able to communicate with everyone we work with
So happy that the company makes an app just for their employees. Nobody else does this! Thank you for giving me an app to get all of the information about what opportunities I can access.
This app works great but theres a annoying “1” on the app when i see my phone’s homescreen and when i open the app i see no new notifications if you can fix that?
Don’t use this app. It is more leverage for the Company in your life. If you try to screenshot a confirmation number (say, for an RDO request) on your phone a warning will pop up telling you that’s not permitted and tells you to delete the screenshot. It’s “Company Town” tactics. Stick to the web based version of the Hub if you must use your own device to access the digital presence of the Company.
I don’t know why yall decided to change the calendar so we can’t view our schedule at the bottom of the screen anymore but it’s kinda irritating 😭 I don’t want to have to view it from schedule view when the formatting is weird and only military time. I miss my old schedule 😔 Please stop updating it when it’s perfectly fine before
The app is fine. It would be nice to have the option to save your schedule directly into your phone calendar so you don’t have to open the app or the website every time you need to check it.
When I first installed the app it worked great! I now can’t get past the log in screen. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times with no luck. Hope that an update soon will fox some of the issues.
This app used to work just fine, but it’s gone down the ******* recently. The icon that we can select in order to load our schedule keeps disappearing, so I’ve gotta uninstall and reinstall the app multiple days in a week. Please step up the effort and help this app run smooth once again.
this is such a good idea and going to be a great resource for Cast. There is so much opportunity here and I’m excited for all the great things to come! Thank you to all who worked on this!
This app is awesome I haven’t had any issues so idk what you guys are talking about maybe ya need to upgrade your phones firmware but overall great app for employees to use.

What happened to this app?? It’s neglected by the designers and no longer is useful :( Does not function with iPhone 12’s system 17.1.2 anymore?? It used to be so helpful, bummer guys… it no longer loads anything nor offers any functionality with a blank screen…
They need to: - Make login persistent, right now it works more like their in house apps with the login screen. - native shift trade and pick up to schedule view - the ability to add blue ID to wallet like you can for my mobile magic with annual pass and main entrance. States are already allowing drivers license to be added - take away the nag screen when sharing screenshots of days of OUR OWN schedules Keep up the good work. 👍🏼
This app is ruthlessly poor quality. If it doesn’t kick you out unexpectedly, it frequently gets frozen on pages or only partially loads. Regardless of Wi-Fi (Company or otherwise), the app functions as if from the 90’s. Someone please scrap this coding and start over.
It used to worked fine. Now that I switched to iPhone 13 ProMax, when I want to use it after I already logged in, I have to log back in again. It takes forever to login. It’s annoying!!! Please, fix it! Thank you!!!
As other reviewers have mentioned, the app worked great on my previous phone but when I upgraded to the 13 Pro the app will no longer load. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not solve. I love the design otherwise.
I have an IPhone 11 and I have tried multiple times to sign in but it won’t let me. I put my info in and then it acts like it is going to sign in flashing though things then puts me right back at sign in screen. Tried updating, deleting and reinstalling but no luck. Would be nice if it worked
The app hangs up when trying to log out blue screen with the rotating circle. Will not clear. Using iPhone and had no problems until a few weeks ago. Removed app and reinstalled but problem persists!
