Exceptional Storyline!!
I have never written a review for a game before, but honestly this game deserves it so much! The plot of the game is very very addictive and you’ll find yourself connecting with the characters a lot too. The voice acting, oh my god, is chef’s kiss for sure. I love how you can unlock exclusive stories for your favorite characters and how so many different characters are involved in the main story, so even if it’s more focused on a specific character you can still see your favorites. I was really happy about this because my favorite character is Riddle Rosehearts and his main story is the first one so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to see him much in the story after that. The events in the game are also very fun to play and they give you a deeper understanding of all the characters, plus you can get free cards sometimes for completing the events. The refill time for your lp which helps you take lessons to upgrade your cards and unlock stories is pretty short which is good for the player who will spend hours on there and every time your rank increases you get free lp. I think my only complaint about the game is that you need 300 gems to get a 10 pull. If your lazy like me, then it will take you awhile to get that many gems because I’m like trying to just speedrun the story without actually upgrading cards and my rank and things like that. But other than that, it’s a spectacular game and you need to give it a home in your home screen right now!!

5 Stars, for a reason.
I’ve only been playing this game for three days now, but i’ve been playing nonstop, every day, for those three days. The only problem with this game is that it’s too addicting. The story is great, the characters are incredible, the voice acting (as far as i can tell) is incredible, the mini games are really fun, the event(s) brings out a lot in characters you might not usually get to know or interact with, and ultimately i’ve been having a lot of fun with this app. I don’t think i’ve ever written a review for a game, ever, but today’s the day, i guess. I love how in each story, so many characters get involved. I love how you can unlock little chats with the characters when you study, that gives you a little insight on their personalities. It’s just- so fun. Everything about it is so fun, you never get bored, you never want to put it down. My actual only problem is how little points for your level you get from studying. I don’t mean the point to level up characters, i mean the points to level up YOU. It takes too long (in my opinion) to level up, and you do more studying than playing at some points. It’s a good way to have people kind of relax though, take a break from the main story or even the game itself. When i’m out of LP, i put the game down, which is probably a good thing because of how much i’ve been playing lol. The fandom is super funny and i’ve yet to meet anyone that isn’t super nice. Overall, 10/10, 5 stars, I love this game.

10/10. Amazing story, characters, and just an amazing game.
I’ve never written a review before, but for this one I had to. I’m a recent player, but I have been keeping up with this game for about a year. The game’s characters were what intrigued me when I first heard about the game. It fascinated me how they could create a game with loose, male versions of famous Disney villains, but they played it extremely well. I love how the story’s always show symbolisms to the original story, and how the characters portray the traits and feelings of the actual villain. The story is fascinating, too. How they play each book and how each story is developed and delved into and creates meaning for everyone involved is an amazing part of the game. The story goes into those based off the villains and shows how they link to the character because of how the story is portrayed in the universe of “Twisted Wonderland”. The fights are extremely fun, too and push your limits. I remember when I fought (spoiler) overblot Riddle, I won on my fifth try. It took leveling and developing my characters to do it, and even then, our health was always head to head. If he had strikes me first at the end, I would have been gone. But luckily, my characters turn was first . The “twistunes” are quite fascinating as well. Very entertaining to play and replay even just for fun. I could say so much more, but that’s all. Amazing game, highly recommended!

Shining star among gacha games
As the other reviews say, the storyline and art are both absolutely fantastic. I like how the battle structure is very simple, but requires some strategy, especially at upper levels. The rhythm games (Twistunes) are unique and very low-pressure but similarly have harder options available for rhythm game fans like me. My only gameplay complaint is that coins (Thaumarks) are deceptively hard to farm, and strengthening one's characters gets expensive at higher levels. Like other reviewers have mentioned, there is no romance available, which I've actually come to appreciate after a while. The characters are all incredibly interesting and don't feel flattened by the need to appeal to the player + MC the way otome characters often do. No matter who you are, I think you will find at least one character you love. My only storyline complaint is that NPCs from the Lion King dorm (Savanclaw) are often shown as stupid and aggressive, which seems in rather poor taste for an African-inspired group. However, the named Savanaclaw characters (Leona, Ruggie, and Jack) are not this way at all. The writing is otherwise some of the best I've ever seen in a mobile game. I have been absolutely loving Twisted Wonderland, and would advise all new players to prepare to fall in love with it as well <3

Interesting story!
Been playing for a couple of days and honestly the story is the best part for me and keeping me hooked. The turn base battle and music notes features for the game is cute but not the most interesting part for me. It’s cool how the first gacha pull in the tutorial ensures you get an SSR since you can retry however many times you want for that first time. I don’t love the paid vs. free gems but like another reviewer said if it’s just one of the few ways for the company to make money, it’s okay. One thing I would really like the game to add is a way to do a bunch of lessons in an instant or much faster than just autoing. And the fact that you can only loop with the items on is a bit weird for me. The art for the game is clean and cute (chibi style for the battle and music modes), although a lot of the guys aren’t my type which is fine since this isn’t an otome game and focuses on story lol. I must say it is just a personal thing for me but the English translation really doesn’t fit well with the jpn voices at times and takes some personal liberties in trying to relate to their English audience I guess. It does get a bit slower in trying to raise your cards power cause it’s hard to get enough materials and high enough cards without grinding which is what I’m going through right now. Overall, it’s a good start to the game and I plan on continue playing for a bit and would recommend for people to at least check it out.

Interesting Twist
This game is very enjoyable and fun. Looking at the designs of each character and getting to know each of their stories is very imaginative and fun. Even the original 7 Disney characters and how others see them for their own stories is also a very nice twist. If you like rhythm and turn-based games that deals with cards this game is definitely for you. However, I couldn’t continue being interested because of the choices aspect of the game. I know this isn’t an otome game and it doesn’t have to be but to give us choices that don’t matter in the end is disappointing. No matter what you choose it doesn’t affect the outcome nor does it make you closer to any of the characters(not romance, more of friendship type of closer) It was very hard for me to stay interested in the game, I can tell it is very story based and I enjoy that and the story as well but what I don’t understand is why make you pick choices if they don’t matter. I understand you want the player to be more involved but what’s the point if we rarely get involved in the conversation. This aspect of the game made it really hard to stay interested I enjoyed the battles and the rhythm aspect but when I get to the story I honestly get bored. It’s a good story but because you added the choices aspect I’m going to expect my choice to have a different outcome than the other one. I gave this game a 3 star review because of the design and story but this being a Disney game disappointed me greatly.

It’s really good, but..
I wasn’t expecting such a game from Disney, story wise it’s pretty interesting. I’ve found myself laughing at the characters dialogues too. The graphics are pretty good, if not better than most other gacha games I’ve seen that use Live2D as well. The characters are all unique and interesting, with the prefects being obvious call backs to the 7 leaders in unique ways which was cool to see. That being said, one of the things I didn’t really like was, even with all of the content the game has, how confusing it was for me. I was confused for a good hour of playing on things like card leveling, where to get the materials for skill leveling, what are vignettes, and etc. The game doesn’t really take the time to explain anything besides the battles, main story selection and rhythm portions. (Unless you poke around the home menu yourself.) That’s not all though. From the prologue, I’d expect the game to move slowly, allowing me to get the gist of battles and level up my cards to good enough levels before moving to the main story. Please tell me why I found myself stuck on the enemy battles, and especially the first boss, dying multiple times because my cards were too weak and only passing the level with a nick of hp left? Same for the first official boss as well. The game literally goes from a 10 to 100 and expects you to just roll with it in my opinion.

My friend got me addicted.
Usually, when it comes to gacha games, I don’t like them. Either the game depends on you pulling for characters, which in turn would cost money, or the characters you pull require money in order to be good, like spending money on items to level them up. Most are a combination of both. Also, this game in particular had something I was absolutely terrified of, turn based battles. So when my friend showed me this game, I was hesitant. It took me a good week to work up the courage and want to download Twisted Wonderland, but boy am I happy I did. Where do I even start. The characters, the artwork, the story, even the UI is amazing. And though I have been playing for a month now I haven’t wanted to put the game down. The gacha system is not totally needed, as you get some characters in the beginning tutorial. And you don’t have to spend any money to level up the characters, as to do that you need to go to lessons, which cost LP, but that regenerates over time. And the Battle system can be completely automated, so you don’t get overwhelmed in the damage buffs and different spells. Personally I never actually write a review for a game, but I guess that’s changed. Overall, this game for sure deserves a 10/10. Ps. The Japanese voices are also very good.

Pretty causal
I’m just past the prologue and game is fairly chill and doesn’t require you to do much. I wouldn’t make this my main gacha game, rather a side one to play. Chapters are short but entertaining; there were moments where I got caught off guard and actually laughed out loud (like when Deuce summoned something to drop on Ace). It’s very easy to get lost and not know what to do when starting out. Lots of the game features while similar to other gacha games, aren’t that well explained. For example I didn’t know what Classes were for like history or flight, and actually had to google it. I’m just glad story isn’t locked behind stamina and only farming materials are. The cast looks amazing and I’m glad Yana Toboso was chosen to illustrate. I haven’t met all of them, but from the brief introduction they seem pretty diverse in personalities. The rhythm feature is actually pretty challenging even on normal mode, or rather it’s different than what I’m used to. It’s not vertical but rather more just randomly on screen. Not sure if it’s a bug but sometimes my taps won’t register, it’s happen so much to the point where I don’t even try to completed achievements. There’s a lot of currencies and it’s honestly confusing for a newcomer. I’ve heard you just have to keep playing through the story and side stuff to get them so that’s good.

The story is so good!
I actually played the original Japanese version when it came out about 2 years ago. But I was so excited to be able to play it in my own language. The main part about this game is the story and I have to say hands down it’s such a good story. Most gacha games have a mediocre story at best but this game does the idea of Disney villains in a magic high school justice. Even if you’re not a Disney fan but are an anime/manga fan I suggest checking it out. Since the main focus is the story the “gameplay” aspects are alright but are very auto-play centric. The main story is the focus but you can quickly tell they put a lot of work and effort into the side stories and event stories. It’s so nice to get glimpses into the characters beyond just the main story. The characters get their own side stories for every card you own of them and I enjoy every one. Speaking of characters it’s one of the few games where I like every character, at first some characters weren’t appealing but with the side stories it helped me enjoy those characters more. Also the art style is amazing and not just for the cards themselves but also in the story and the cute sprits when doing battles or lessons. I really enjoy this game and plan to play it for a long time.

It’s a really great game, but it wasn’t what I was looking for..
I REALLY love this game but it’s so hard to stay interested in the story when the answers you pick don’t matter, this was irritating when u went through to see other dialogue with no change at all. this game is clearly meant for everyone but seems to catch girls eyes more than boys, and because of this I thought that it was more of a romance game, but when the game ended with no love interest for the main character it made me feel upset and confused. The beginning also was one reason I thought the game contained romance because of the whole picking a boy thing, I thought that I was picking a route or a love interest for the main character but I wasn’t. After finishing the game I ran straight back to the AppStore and down to the comments only to find out it wasn’t a romance novel of any kind. I love the story line and the characters are well drawn and thought through, their personality’s are something I would like to know more about, over all I give this game a 3 star review for the confusion through out the whole game. I also don’t understand why the game gave us a main character (our self). It doesn’t make sense to me that the game gave us options only to ignore everything we say most of the time. I personally would rather this just be a book. Over all the game has nice visuals and plot so I give it 3 stars.

My favorite game ever
I absolutely love this game. It has my entire heart. I have been playing this game since right after it’s release every single day, and I haven’t gotten tired of it, which is impressive, considering I get bored easily. The soundtrack is good, the character design is good, the concept is good, everything about it builds up to make this game absolutely perfect. The game is also not a stickler when giving out gems and other materials, so I’m actually able to get things I want without spending loads of money. The storyline, in both the main story and the events, are really well done. The plot is very well done, and there are both suspenseful scenes and funny ones. I adore all of the characters. Since this game is based off Disney movies, all the characters are associated with a Disney character, and I personally find it fun to see which parts of the game character connect with their movie character. Their designs are very well done, their models are well drawn and animated, and their costumes actually look good. And, of course, they all have likable personalities that make me very attached to them. I hope this game continues to shine throughout the future, and I’m very exited to see what new things are added in the future. ❤️

Although fun, translations are terrible and the gacha is expensive
One thing I can’t stand in a gacha game is the splitting of in game currency into ‘paid’ and ‘free’, which basically forces you into spending money because even the in game currency that you painstakingly save over time isn’t enough apparently, and this game is guilty of it, they even do this in the shop. You think you’re buying 400 gems? Nope! You’re buying 250 gems and being given 150 for free, which you can’t use on paid content. To do a single 10 pull, you have to pay $40 on some banners. Aniplex can’t look me in the eye and tell me they think that reasonable, it’s ridiculous. As many have mentioned, the translations…aren’t good. They’re totally infantilised this game, most of these translation changes are frankly pointless, especially considering most people who play this already knew the original, for the love of god go through the game and revert back to the originals. Thaumarks are Mandols, ‘Paint the Roses’ is Doodle Suit, ‘Specialised spells’ are Unique Magic, why did you even change these in the first place?! Also, can you go back and actually make the characters that were threatening in the original mildly scary, you’ve turned them all into jokes, I’ve read better character line translations from fans doing it for free on the web before you graced us with the chance to read this.

Differences between the JP and ENG versions.
First and foremost, I am just so happy that this game finally got an American release! I’ve been playing the Japanese version for the past year and a half now and I’ve fallen so in love with the story and all of the characters. Yana’s art style and her storytelling has brought something truly special to life and I genuinely haven’t gotten so caught up in a game like this before. That being said, I am a little worried with the myriad of differences that there are between the English and Japanese versions so far. Some of the localizations of the characters lines make them almost entirely out of character to their original counterparts, and the slight changes in main story and side story elements has me deeply concerned with how the future of the game is to play out. I can understand formatting differences, but when it comes to actual story, I’m really not sure why exactly those specific changes were made. I hope for the sanctity of this amazing, beautiful story that Aniplex and the team of translators work harder to make sure to provide the best, most canonically accurate representation for the English app. The changes are glaring to those who’ve played the Japanese version, and I really hope that there are later fixes in the game to correct these, honestly. Until then, I truly am thankful for the release and I hope to see it go far!

A rare find.
My sister introduced me to this game last year. I was a bit skeptical, because at first, she’d go through characters and I’d judge them based off of appearances and make some silly jokes about them. Then I got into looking at card art, playing twist tunes for her, and then I downloaded it on my birthday on my phone. I’ve been playing ever since, and I’m coming up on a year of playing! The reward system, although quite limited and difficult to squeeze gems and level up material out of, is beneficial, and gives me a reason to play continuously; so I can get rewards. The storyline is amazing, most of all. I found myself, at the very beginning, cranking lessons day in and day out because I wanted to keep progressing in the story. Granted, book six was a pain, but it’s all the more reason to continue playing. It’s a clever way of programming, as not only are you supposed to do lessons to enhance your rank, you also do them to improve upon cards. And once you do, you are constantly rewarded for it at certain marks. Overall, this game is most definitely a staple in my life, and I’m so glad I’ve been playing for this long, because it never fails to surprise and intrigue me!

I really like it!
I only have a few issues with it, one of them being that the instructions about the lessons are unclear or vague and difficult to understand for players that haven’t played games of this genre before. Also, the back button goes back each action you do like an undo button rather than taking you back to the menu. Just means you have to tap the menu button in the top right corner to navigate but it was a bit of a learning curve. But other than that, I really like it! I like the implementation of a sort of rhythm game and the unique battles with the cards. The art style is way cool and the sprites used in battles are super cute too! I played a bit of the Japanese version about a year ago and I was interested in the story. The characters easily become likable with the vignettes/side stories as well as in the main story. It’s very story based and the method for getting materials to level cards, card skills, and unlock vignettes/side stories is just leaving it on auto to grind through your LP. If you are unfamiliar with these types of games, there is a gacha system and though it isn’t required to pull to enjoy the story, the art on the cards are very pretty and the game is generous with giving the currency to pull as rewards for completing in-game missions.

Congratulations Twisted Wonderland for being the only game to have Malleus Draconia
I played the Japanese version for the last two years almost now, and playing the English version makes me love it even more. The gameplay is great, the quality of the game is very high and the characters and story are unbelievably amazing. I could talk about just story content for hours. I think it was fleshed out very well. The Japanese VAs are incredibly talented and many are voices I recognize from elsewhere, with the best voices around! I love how even small voicelines were translated, too. While I am not used to some small translations just cause I’ve been so used to fan translations, I’m getting used to it quick and actually loving some of them more than the fan translation. The eloquent language used is really amazing and draws me in, while some of the characters who talk using modern phrases is adjusted so well, it caught me off guard. I feel like the translation team had a lot of fun with this and they really delivered! Loving this so far. I’m using this account to get characters I don’t have in my Japanese account, while also collecting every Malleus card known to mankind. i cannot be stopped

I love this game but…
I love this game, the story, the characters, and just about everything. But there are two things that I think should be fixed. One, it takes way too long to rank up. As you know, the only way to rank up in this game is by doing lessons, but the higher rank you get the harder it is. Because I am rank 10 right now but completing a lesson only makes my experience bar go up a tiny bit. It takes way too long, and I at least think that they should give us some experience from stories or make the experience from the lessons greater. The second thing is that it doesn’t make sense to have the player to be able to choose an option in the story, when whatever they choose won’t make a change in the story. I get that they want the player to be engaged or be able to choose their own dialogue on what to say, but it should at least change on what the characters are going to say or how the story plays out on how you respond. It would be nice if they made a system or event on where you can hang out with a pacific character and you can get your their friendship levels up or something like that. Other than that, this is a very good game and I will continue to keep on playing.

Amazing characters and story!
Honestly I’ve never written a review before but this game is really fun, I love the storyline and the characters. All the characters are unique to themselves, whether it’s their personality’s or their design itself. I like how each book focuses on one dorm and the Disney villain it’s based on, I also love the fact each main villain of each book has a unique backstory that differs from the others. The plot and dialogue makes this game so much fun to play and I like how to clear certain chapters you don’t just have to battle, sometimes it’s a rhythm game too. I like how if you don’t want to go through the chapter again you can just go to the song and play it like a mini game. In the beginning you’re even given the option to pick one of the characters, though this doesn’t affect the story I think it’s fun to get a preview of everyone and a little glimpse of their personality in your Home Screen before you meet them! All in all, I recommend this game to anyone who likes a good story game with added bonuses and gacha. I would play this 10 times over again!

Fun but some problems
OK so first off I wanna say something about the twistunes. This might just be me idk but does anyone else feel the notes hold no kind of rhythm at all? Like they don’t go with the beat at all, and I feel like when you miss or don’t get a perfect the notes kinda delay so it’s hard to even try to pick up on the beat again. Also the way how the notes are louder than the actual song kind throws you off a little- again might just be me tho Also another problem I have is the thing that lost people talk about in the reviews- the lessons. It’s like you have participate in the lessons more the the overall game itself. It’s super boring cause all you do is sit there watching the screen, and it’s not like you can do anything else but sit there since you CANT leave the screen. It’s repetitive and takes forever to level up. Not only that, but makes it hard to enjoy the story because you have to level up so much- which I find to be disappointing since I enjoy the story and like sitting through it. There’s more complaints I have but I’d be sitting here all day,but the game does have amazing characters and as I said I do enjoy the story. I don’t think it’s really worth the grinding hustle tho

cater my beloved
I wanted to get into twst for so long but couldn’t since it was only available in japan. BUT NOW WITH THE ENGLISH RELEASE I AM OBSESSED LOL. The character designs, cards, and graphics are absolutely stunning! The music is beautiful! The stories are so colorful, and I love how the main story is fully voiced and the characters are moving around to make it more engaging. The lessons with their lil chibi selves are so cute, I could literally watch them all day lol. The rewards are pretty generous but you have to grind for them. Honestly, there are just so many things you could do in the game that it’s really hard to put my phone down lolol. I’m aware there are some things that people have been pointing out and leaving not so good reviews such as issues with the translations and design of some characters. While I’m not defending the translators/developers’ choices, for me I’m just thankful I’m able to play this wonderful game. The release of this game has added more happiness to my life and I am eagerly looking forward to more content and seeing all the characters smile! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I absolutely adore this game
Only downside to it is how difficult it is to farm gems or just get gems in general. In my experience it takes quite a while! Plus the gacha rates are pretty bad compared to other gacha games I play (Colorful Stage, Bandori, Enstars) , it took me all 100 pulls to get Epel's recent SSR (Applepom) and i had ZERO gems after that 100th pull! The twistunes don't register too well either but it could just be me. Lastly, its EXTREMELY time consuming when trying to rank up! I've been playing avidly for about a year and im still at rank 37😅 Its difficult because you have to do MANY lessons to rank up. All of these are pretty minor though in terms of gameplay and the story. The plot is lovely and humorous and the characters are all pretty well thought out. I absolutely adore how Epel's character is about how he looks cute and soft but is actually pretty tough. He's the best character in my humble opinion. If you're a fan of Disney villains, Yana Toboso (who is also the creator of Black Butler), gacha games (the cards are beautiful despite the drop rates), or just like playing games for stories and characters, then I highly recommend this game!

I love the game I truly do but….
Something I realized when playing was the mirror pulls you can only use keys and paid gems to pull now.. what happened to the 300 free gems since i don’t really use my free gems for any else except for buying keys but it takes way to long to wait for the shop to refresh I’m not sure what happened now I feel like the free gems are just their for show even one of my friends who also play the game agrees. I mean what was the point making pulls harder what it already is because for events you already needed around 200 pulls to get the features cards and the same thing for the Ssr 100 pulls you need at least 99 pulls to get lucky to get the Ssr you want on standard and birthday banners. So I just find it unfair for teens like me who can’t really afford to buy gems. I really liked how it was before to were you get to use your free gems for the pulls other then the shop cause most people don’t use their gems in Sam’s shop and use only for pulls what happened why is stuff tens times harder but in general I do love the game and I’m still wondering when the English version is coming out.

It’s not a joke any more, i am in love-
This game was recommended to me by a close friend as a joke but also genuine. I goofed around in the Prologe but then it happend, my son, riddle rosehearts, his past reveled. And after that boss fight I was hooked. My grade, for them. My money, for them. All earthy possessions and time, for them. Only one warning I give is if you play there is no going back. But at this point I don’t want to go back. It started as a joke but bruh I don’t think it’s a joke anymore. My family says I’m addicted but hey, at least it motivates my grade. I think of twisted wonderland everyday of my life, it brings me such great joy. The only time I didn’t play Twst was while I have a medical emergency, other than that I have been playing every single day since I started. Be warned dear reader, you might love this game once you download. But maybe not as much as me. Riddle rosehearts solos ong. Oh and of course the story line and the depth of even the side character has me coming back every. Or tl’dr, this game ate and left no crumbs, it even ate the plate.

Idea / Please take into consideration
It’s a good game yes but it gets so annoying when you have to do lesson over and over again to get to the next rank. Especially when you just got to the one you needed for a new chapter and you can only do a few chapters (sometimes, not all the time). It starts to get boring and I just about got rid of the game because of this. You only get 50-80 points per lesson and you need 1.5k+ to get to the next rank and that just keeps going up and up. And to add to the fact that you only have 10 LP in total, getting some when you level up, put you have to either spend 10 gems to fill it back up or wait for it. I know this is a ‘school’ and the lessons and such but maybe do like school bake sells or a talent show or something along those lines every once in a while to earn more points to get to the next rank. Cause overtime you’re gonna need more points to get to the next rank which means more lesson which means more gems spent / time waiting and it’ll just get boring + annoying and the user might quit. Please take this into consideration.

I like the story and the gameplay, but...
So, I've been playing this game for a while and overall it is quite ok. The storyline is great, the twists and the build up, etc. are very satisfying. The characters are very unique from their designs to their characteristics. The card related aspects are not the greatest but tolerable if you are patient. One thing that has left me quite unsatisfied is how the MC(Yuu) is quite "invisible" during the story. I understand this is not an otome(dating sims) and I don't want it to be romantic or anything. I'm okay with how the story aren't affect by the choices since its Visual Novel and all. But the MC's presence is kinda non-existed in my opinion. I'm kinda want the MC to be more "there" in stories, not necessarily to be able to influenced the story but it would be nice if other characters can act more aware of the MC and what the MC said because in some scene the MC just straight up getting ignore which feels like the choices options are quite... eh useless? Idk that's just my opinion but i guess that's how visual novel be... books... but more visually pleasing? lmaoo anyways besides that the game is good.

Came back to play this game again
From my first experience of playing the game when it first came out, it appealed to me from the artwork and concept that tied with Disney villains. Later on, I got hooked onto the storyline and the activities you can do ( rhythm game, event stories, turn-based battles, etc). I deleted a while back due to storage problems but when I recently downloaded it again, I see that they added new features ( dormitory decoration, etc.). As a returning player, I’m glad there wasn’t too much things I missed and that I could still adjust fine in playing the game casual since o have a busy schedule. Only thing I’m sad about is that I forgot to make a passcode in my last account so I lost my data ;-; I had to start over again, but it’s honestly pretty easy to catch up to speed. Lesson to self, make sure to make yourself a passcode or better yet, connect your account to something like gmail or iCloud. Gacha-wise, it takes a while to earn currency so be wise in your spending!

I love this game:3
It’s wonderful, I’d never thought I would like Disney as much as I do now. This game took something I’d totally not be interested in into something I would fully be engrossed in. If any game is 2d and have attractive characters you can sign me up any day!😍And the best part about it is that the story is actually interesting and worth your while and money, sure you have to have requirements in order to progress but that just makes everything better knowing you’ll have others things to do than go book chapter to book chapter. The Vignettes are so intriguing it makes me wanna level up my vignettes level higher and higher. My second favorite feature of the game is the Twistunes and by far the easiest for me even though I’ll spend way too long trying to improve my score on the tunes. But overall this game is great if your an 2d lover that believes “2d makes everything better” like I do or a Disney fanatic than this is the game for you.

This is the first review I have ever written for a game. Or anything for that matter. But that’s besides the point. This game is HIGHLY enjoyable. As a young adult who loves Disney villains and anime, this caught my attention right away. The story so far is absolutely phenomenal and I’m in the middle of book 2. (Lion King, which was my favorite movie as a child and Scar is my favorite Disney villain) It’s very light hearted, absolutely hilarious sometimes, and the little mini games keep me going. The ONLY reason I did not give this game 5 stars, is because it takes FOREVER to level up. And the cards power against the bosses is almost hard to match. It’s like you have to grind on leveling up before you should even start reading. I don’t like how long the lessons take, and I don’t like that we can’t skip it or even do anything while they’re taking lessons. So I’m just sitting here staring at my phone until I run out of LP. This game would definitely get a whole 5 stars from me if that were changed. But other than that, I can’t wait for this anime to come out on Disney+ ☺️

I want new cards not awakening perfumes!
The game is very fun. It took me and my sister a bit of time to figure out battles but once we did it felt good. It would be nice though if they gave recommendations for certain battles in story mode (i.e which element (s) to defeat the boss with, how high your spell level, card level, or ally level should be), it would be useful if someone gets stuck on one. Also, I already got all the r cards of students from the card shop in the store so it should stand to reason that they should be cut from the gacha; but no. I still get them in the gacha despite having them in my roster already along with too much awakening perfumes (I had quite a lot of those thanks to this so that’s why). Sometimes I even end up getting new cards I didn’t even want at the time (birthday sebek for example as sebek isn’t exactly my favorite character). Is there anyway we can make the gacha have more chances for other cards that we want, besides the r cards? Or at least not come off as rigged too much?

Makes my life better tbh
Even if the en translation are rlly off, I'm excited to finally play the en version. I rlly enjoy the twistunes and going thru the chapters. The lessons and alchemy are also rlly interesting and overall after waiting so long although its not up to par with my expectations, it's still so fun and def not deleting it anytime soon. The en translations are rlly funny and make me crack up, however I do wish the censorship on this wasn't so bad like the lgbtq lines or Sam. And the issues with the game. Although I'm rlly happy with this game launching there are issues that NEED to be fixed. I'm looking forward to the events, cards, etc. Overall I can't put my phone down despite the piles of homework I have- Although I haven't play that far into the game other reading and listening to the other reviews would be nice since i can't phase my thoughts the best. Thank you so so so much for making the en version I never thought I would have. Keep up the good work!

Book 1 had me in tears
Well I finally got to the end of Book 1 and I can say there is really a great story here. I never got too deep on the JP translations but to finally read it and know exactly what is going on is nice and the VAs sure did an amazing job, have hear that we have weird translations but honestly I don’t mind and I think I can catch on some stuff just hearing the lines of what may be a bit more what those meant so is alright. Gameplay wise well may be a bit of grinding but is something that does not bother me, is a nice game for sure. Hear story and all is quite spaced out and to some may be a downside to wait but I like the idea of that, is design in a way even someone with a really hectic life can keep up with the game and not miss much which is neat so more people can take time and catch up with all at their own time I completed Book 1 and honestly did not expect that would made me cry, I feel I will have a nice time here.

Exactly what Disney needs ❤️
I watched play-throughs of this game when it was only available in Japan, and I absolutely fell in love with the stories. Actually getting to play the game after waiting for such a long time, it’s so much fun and it’s really helped me during this difficult time in my life. The characters are so well written, and the art by Yana Toboso is incredible as always. Even the voice actors are awesome and they fit their roles really well. I really hope that one day everyone in the world will get to play this game. I also hope that more merchandise will be available for fans internationally. I truly love playing this game, and what’s also great is that you can even play without having to pay. But tbh even if you decide to spend a bit of money, it’s worth every penny. I love that we get to see a different side to the Disney villain stories we all grew up watching. I loved villains already, but this just made me love them even more ❤️

Just one problem
I love this game, the stories, the characters, literally everything about this game is awesome, one problem I like to address, when I tried the Disney 100 event gacha… I spent 7 tenfold key summons (including the free summon) and got nothing, like the chances of getting those ssrs r not great, like u can get ssrs all the time and it feels like getting a legendary, at least make it easier for the ssr to be pulled? I missed to many characters I wanted to get and I wasted so many tenfold summons, overall I love this game and their events r so fantastic, but I would love it if the gachas were a tiny bit easier if that’s ok? Back in the earlier times of tw it was easy to get them so I understand why u needed to crank up the difficulty but spending 7 tenfolds to get one guaranteed ssr? It’s pretty bad, I love the game, just pls fix the gacha that’s all I want, I’ll take the L on the new event grim but I just want those gachas easier, just a tiny bit

Fun but…
The game uses a really nice anime-ish art style for all the characters and scenes. The mini games are interesting and the story is easy to follow, but it I definitely keeps you eager to play more. There are a couple issues that I think prevent this from being a 5 star game. First, the main character (yourself) feels a bit pointless. None of the dialogue choices you make seem to make a difference in the storyline. There is also no main character customization beyond choosing a name. It would be nice if you could customize and avatar that would also fight in battles and mini games among the other characters. It is also worth noting that this game is not a romance rpg at all. This was a bit confusing and disappointing to me because it feels like it is advertised as one, especially since one of the first things the game asks you to do is to choose one of the boy characters. Presumably this is to follow their storyline, but it actually doesn’t make a difference either. Overall, the game is a fun story, but the genre feels a bit disjointed.

Idia’s certified spouse
If this game was just an image of idia doing nothing I’d still log in every day😍. All jokes aside, this game is genuinely interesting and fun to play! I tend to delete apps almost instantly if they don’t satisfy my boredom quickly— and this game did not disappoint. The story telling and jokes are really refreshing and don’t seem out of date or awkward. The fact that each and every character has their own unique personality to compliment their beautiful character design is nothing short of perfection. Not to mention the voice acting is astonishing! Although I’m not a huge fan of riddle, I can genuinely say his voice acting was incredibly moving and genuine, making me feel like I was actually there in that garden. Even putting the story aside, the short battles and rhythm segments add a nice touch to the game! It gives the players a lot to do to ensure boredom doesn’t ensue. I can only hope this game will continue to prosper in the future!

Gacha cards are pretty boring and aren't worth grinding for
The actual character designs are nice but the actual gacha cards is where I get annoyed personally. This is mostly my opinion and I understand that gachas can be different from one another but I don't really find much enjoyment in grinding for hours just to not even get an SSR card that compared to SSRs and other high level cards from other gachas looks incredibly plain in comparison. There's also the cooking events in the game that basically require you to grind throughout the whole event just to get only an SR that literally looks the same as all the other cards you can get in the events when they occur. It would be nice if more cards actually reflected the character's themselves and their personalities instead of just putting the character in the same cook outfits as one another but with different colors. It's also disappointing that this happens with other cards outside of the cooking event. At the same time it's my fault for expecting a game who's designer only knows how to draw butler suits and pedobait to have A+ outfit and card designs.

A Delight
I wasn’t expecting much from this game, however I was delightfully surprised! The art is beautiful and the character designs are so fun. Gameplay is nice too, with majority being story telling, and then rhythm games and turn based rpg game as well. The Rhythm missions are my favorite, I think it’s a fun addition to these kinda of games, and they aren’t too difficult but still a bit challenging. Leveling up your cards is a bit difficult and tedious and time consuming, there are many many many items in the game, but they offer info to help know what you need. I do feel that they expect you to level up very quickly in the beginning, so it takes a while to catch up to be able to defeat a boss. Once you’ve got a good group of leveled cards though it becomes a bit smoother. Earning currency and gems is common too, which I enjoy. Overall a fun game! I’m very interested to see where the story goes…

I love it!
The story is very interesting and fun to watch play out! I see people complaining about the paid currency and I personally think it’s nice to reward people who spend with a paid only gacha there are no paid exclusive cards and I think that’s really nice! People are also complaining that the story choices don’t really matter and personally I don’t care I have a blast just reading through the story so if your looking for a good story driven game try this one out! The controls are a bit unintuitive but if you play around you’ll figure it out, or you could just make a quick google search. I will say that it’s not for everyone but it wouldn’t hurt to give it a shot. I will recommend that if you are a hardcore collector that NEEDS every single card you should probably steer clear for your wallets safety. Overall the characters and the story are fun, and I consider this one of my favorite story driven games.

Reccomended
This is my second day playing, so far the story line was up to my expectation. At first I played this game because of Yana Toboso because of their exceptional character designs and it also didn’t disappoint me because each character has their unique trait (also didn’t expect the characters to have their own animation and it is lowkey smooth). But anyways I hope you can keep updating this game because even though out of dozens of otome game, this was a very unique combination of strategy and rhythm.) The only thing I could give as a form of feedback perhaps is how you can make a more UI friendly hint for card and lesson section. Also I’m having a hard time navigating the card section because every time I click the return button, it wont go back to the collection card UI and instead only return to my previous sub-section card. It would be nice if you can refine your UI.

I love it! But the translation is a little….weird
I’ve been playing the JP version for a while so finally having the EN version is awesome! Since we’re starting from the beginning I can experience all the events from the start! The same things I love from the JP versions are the same things I love from the EN! The art is beautiful, the story is engaging with the added bonus of not having to search up translations all the time or use google translate. But the official translations are kinda weird? How is Dorm Leader less known than housewardens? It makes it sound like Night Raven College is some weird boarding school prison or correctional facility… Replacing Trey’s Unique Magic “Doodle Suit” name which fits his whole theme suit of clubs with “painting the roses red”? Also why replace ‘Unique Magic’? It was perfectly fine! But the translations are freakin hilarious as well. Some of my favorite quotes- Every single thing Cater says “I’ve got a shovel and I am DIGGING” -Ace “Let’s get this Tart-y started!” - Trey “Drumming is cancelled. YEET!” -Floyd All in all, harmless, if a bit weird and super funny. I think it’s very hard to translate meaning well in any language especially a language like Japanese. With so many context words, it’s easy for meaning to fall flat. With that, I salute the official translators for doing their best and trying to make us laugh while doing it. But seriously why Housewardens?

It seems cool in concept…
I kept getting ads for this game and it seem pretty cool, so I downloaded, thinking it was going to be a really cool story based, turn style rpg kind of game. That’s exactly what the first level was, and it drew me into the game. But after playing the game for at least an hour, the levels were always the “tap the screen to the beat” kind of game. These are legit my least favorite genre of games because they are least interesting and kinda easy if you have a good sense of rhythm. I thought that maybe I’d actually get into the part of the rpg style like what had been advertised, but it was the same thing, level after level, mission after mission. I’m not even sure when the actual rpg part of the game comes up after the first level, if there is even one that exists, but instead it feels like a bait and switch. The designs for the characters are really cool and I thought that when you picked a character at the start, that it would impact the game, but it doesn’t seem that way. Overall, the only redeeming quality is the character design.

Hi, I really hope you enjoy the game 😁
I love this game, it’s so much fun and the story and characters and character development is amazing and I can’t wait for the anime! I’m literally absolutely obsessed with this game, I also may or may not have gotten my sisters into it to! Also the art work and character designs are flawless, cute guys and the story is amazingly fun and magical. But it’s not perfect, I would personally like to be able to be able to customize a avatar for the game, I think that would be fun and I love things like that. And I’ve always wanted the choices you make to have a bigger impact on the story, and for there to be attacks during the fights that you could choose kinda like Pokémon. And this last bit is just something about most games that bug me, but find it so hard to save and earn gems is that just me? Other then that I wouldn’t change the game at all. It’s literally one of the best mobile games I have ever played and I hope others enjoy it to

This is my favorite game
I truly love the story line to this game, the characters, and the overall art. The stories are interesting and keep you engaged with a type of tile game called twistunes sorry if I spelt that wrong. As well as fights between your characters and the at the time antagonist. I could go on for hours about the story line but I don’t think anyone wants to read that. The art in the cards is very colorful and very well drawn. The characters all have their own personalities and story lines it’s hard to not respect the game developers for putting the thought into each individual character. If you ever wanted to you could go into a deep analysis on each character and find that they all have their own issues that they try to deal with over the plot of the story. Overall I love this game and it’s characters and definitely a recommended game by me if your into this type of game.

Absolutely Amazing
I’m not really one to write reviews, but Twisted Wonderland deserves it! I’ve been obsessed for about two years, I believe. I have a lot of things to say about it. 1. Amazing writing. The conversations feel real, like something I’d actually say with friends. It’s very immersive. And the characters also feel real and well written. 2. Fun gameplay. I like the twistunes and battles! It’s funsies. 3. Great story. Each book is awesome and has a great plot. I think book 7 (still releasing as I write this) is the best lore wise. It’s a bit heavier than the others but it’s my favorite. 4. Obsessed with the characters. Like I said, I’ve been obsessed for two years now. The characters are awesome! Floyd is my favorite, but they’re all amazing and I love the boys. 5. THE ARTTTT. My god, the art is to die for. The cards have me on my knees. Some of these cards have my jaw on the FLOOR- 6. The voice acting. It’s amazing. I don’t speak Japanese, but I can hear the emotion in the voices. It’s just so well done. Some of the voices scratch my brain just right. This game is a 10/10 in my book. A must play! It does delve into some deeper topics, like child abuse, inferiority complexes, death of family, and bullying (if you know you know). These are just a few examples off the top of my head. But the game does a good job of blending the serious topics with silly goofy fun.

only 1 minor flaw, otherwise awesome!
great game and storyline, but the gems(used for gacha) are SO hard to obtain. when you’re a low rank it’s easy enough, but as you level up, gems get harder and harder to obtain and it’s a bit annoying. the only other complaints i have are that the process to level up your cards (lessons) are also boring… there’s not much play, it’s just watching the screen as characters level up. not to mention that you use up LP so fast… i keep having to use gems or something to fill it back up again in order to level my cards. i also wish you could choose to romance different characters and go on dates or something. otherwise, the storyline is so good and immersive. i’m absolutely obsessed with playing through the storyline and spending time with Ace, Deuce, and especially Cater! love the character designs and the main plot and world-build of the game. only issues are with some gameplay aspects.

Great game!
I’ve been playing for about a week or so and I’m about an third of the way (I’m guessing) through the second book. There is so much to this game. It’s more than just your average “get cards and level them up to fight” game. I’m not usually a fan of those types of games, so when I downloaded and started playing this and realized it was that type of game, I kinda went “ugh” and assumed I wouldn’t enjoy it. I was wrong. This game has that element, but it also have the element of text based games, rhythm games, RPG turn based fighting games, and more, with the added bonus of some Harry Potter-like elements as well. The characters are fantastic and I love the creative and subtle ways they make the names or appearances similar to that of the villain that their “house” is modeled after. So far I am enjoying the stories and the game play. The music and animation are top- notch. Just A+ all around.

Disney!!
I have been a huge fan of Disney for my entire life, but I do have to say that I’m a real sucker for the classics. Don’t get me wrong, the newer movies are great! But, there’s something special about The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, etc. However, recently, I had attended the Anime Expo in my area, and I was introduced some characters from the Twisted Wonderland game. When I got home, I downloaded the app, and I haven’t been able to put it down. Yes, the connection to Disney is fainter than some (harder core fans) would like, but it’s there, and these characters are equally lovable. I have grown to love the gameplay, it is the perfect mixture of a storyline, rhythm games, and getting to better know the characters. I do have to say, Malleus is still my favorite. Anyway, if you’re like me, a person who loves Disney and story, this is the perfect app for you. I hope you have a good day!

I really like this game
It’s so much fun! The story is actually interesting so far (I love story games, but most tend to be lacking). The gameplay is great, too. It’s challenging but not too challenging. Really, the switches between combat-based and rhythm-based levels (and with both types having different variations and clear conditions, too) is a major plus for me. I didn’t even mind the tutorial at all. Usually, on-the-rails tutorials that don’t let you explore the system at your own pace are an instant “No” for me, but this one was interesting and very appreciated. My only complaint is that leveling your cards feels like it takes an eternity, especially when it feels like the difficulty raises faster than I can keep up with. Maybe I’m just impatient, but as someone who loves the feeling of progress and making my characters powerful, it drags my progression to a crawl. Overall, this is an awesome game. I just wish leveling up didn’t take so long.

surprisingly fun to play!
I’m not a Disney fan, but I do adore Yana Toboso’s work, so I decided to check it out. here are some notes: The main story is fine. It takes a lot from the Disney movies, so each part tends to be hit or miss. I found myself a bit annoyed at the predictability and lack of originality at some points, but it is still mostly interesting to follow. The side stories are pretty good. This doesn’t bother me personally, but the MC does absolutely nothing to the point where I wonder why they even give you dialogue options. Some variation would be nice, with characters changing how they respond based on what you decide to say. The gameplay mainly consists of the typical rhythm game and gacha system you see in Japanese video games. The fighting is turn based is doesn’t seem too reliant on skill. One issue I had was that the game expects you to be very on top of leveling your cards. It’s hard to procure the materials to go from level 20 to 40 quickly. There’s a lot of grinding required. The real reason I liked this game has to be the characters. The characters of this game definitely give more interest to the cliched plot. Love them! Seeing the characters interact and learning more about them is nice. I’ll bring this review up from 3☆ just for that. Anyway, twisted wonderland is a decent game. I may not be in the target audience, but it’s still very fun to play.
