Doors: Origins

There is no doubt - this may be one of the most beautiful IPad game’s I’ve found. BUT - there appears to be three “editions” of the game and it is not totally clear how they all relate. Also very clunky that when I pick a game other than the one I’m in, I get thrown back to the Apple store and have to click Open to get to that other edition/version. Is there a defined path of progress or does one just play random games in any order? I paid the $5 for the first version I came across. Then when I got another version I had to pay ANOTHER $5 to “get all the games”. So it appears I’ve paid $10 and now see no more nagging for more money. I do hope you can straighten out the interface and set up a clearer path between games. It also appears there is no saved progress as I’ve returned to levels I’d already completed. Not totally bad - a level may be worth repeating, but it should be made clearer as to what the state of things is. Also it appears if I leave a level before completing, when I return, all progress is lost and I have to start over. All in all, a beautiful bit of computer art and great puzzles. But I do hope improvements will be made to the overall interface between the various games & levels.

I’m all the mystery games I’ve played were either too hard inappropriate. I was scrolling on the App Store because I was super bored. And wanted to see if there was any good games, and then this game caught my eye! I checked it out but then decided not to download it. A few hours later I decided to cause I was just bored. I was kind of confused at first when I got on it, but then I found the levels and played the first one! I liked the the tutorial! How do you figure out the whole thing. But didn’t help you finish the thing! I already played two levels. The second one was challenging and fun! So was the first one. I hope there’s lots more levels. I would give this a 4 a half stars because I haven’t had the full experience yet. But since I can’t do that I’m giving this a five star rating! PS: Love the mysterious aesthetic!:

Very few games have ever gotten a review from me and I have played thousands. This game warranted my taking the time to actually share my experience with others considering playing this game. Graphics, stunning and imaginative to say the least. I find myself smiling the entire time I’m playing and have found d it to be entertaining but also extraordinarily relaxing which was a complete surprise to me. Nothing too difficult but not boring in any way. I could play these games non stop and I truly hope the developers continue to delight us with their superb gaming creations.

It is early into playing. On second level yet was asked to rate. I usually wait until we’ll onto the game or complete to rate it. I may change it to five if it continues this way. Beautiful graphics challenging but not too hard. I did use a few hints One thing that is confusing is the payments in app purchase and hat is gained in each option, I usually won’t download a game with manynickel and dimepurchases I like trying it and if I like it to pay one time to unlock whole game without purchases or ads. It would appear that the 4.99 price would do that but it not clear. There are several lower prices that unlock what.?

Because I’m not a young person, finding a top level app is nearly impossible. But, I have finally found one. I have only played the first level so far, but felt the need to give this 5 stars! The length of the levels is just right to keep your interest. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the mechanics work just right. It is just challenging enough without being so difficult one is sorry to have been entangled. If you like beautiful puzzles, you must not miss this!

Do think the graphics are great — like the Room games in some respects. Enjoying the puzzle solving, and so far haven’t needed more than one hint. Just finished level 4. What is frustrating is that the game crashes after each ad plays and after I complete some levels. Hoping that’s a glitch that can be fixed. —— Paid my $4.99 … plays very smoothly without ads. Good puzzles in all the levels. Did freeze up in the epilogue 1 after I took a hint, so I had to quit. Now have to play that level from the start instead of going back to the point I’d reached.

This game developer almost always puts out puzzle games that are perfect for someone who cannot sit for hours at a time to concentrate on a puzzle. With constant interruptions and always other things going on these are perfect. Always engaging, interesting to solve and fun but short segments. As a caretaker, this is major stress relief so please keep up the wonderful quality and imaginative games!

I was confused as to why I wasn’t getting hints after paying for them. I guess it took a few minutes for the server to catch up. This is a wonderful game with superb graphics. Splendid! UPDATE: I guess “Endless Hints” ends after 2 hints 🙄 2nd UPDATE: In epilogue 2 the left data screen shows “2,3,6,5,2” as to what should be punched in on the left to that screen, however, it appears that this doesn’t work 😟 I think some debugging is in order.

I have no problem paying $15 for this quality. Everything is top notch. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I was one blue gem and two orange gems away from the Epilogue 1 and 2 chapters! I have no idea, out of the three whole apps worth of chapters I’ve played, where those three gems are! Can you please identify where to find the missing items or charge extra for the content?

I bought all the Faraway games and sometimes I go looking for an online walkthrough. I finished Doors Awakening and purchased the other 2 Doors games. Only rarely have I had to go in search oh an online solution. I have all 3 Escape games and again help can be found online. I especially like short chapters/levels. No need to go searching for the next area to continue playing; these games take yo to the next level. Very well made 👌 Only problem is the hints are not synced to the puzzle being worked. But always I can find a shove in the right direction online. Thank you Snapbreak Games developers for many hours of relaxed playing time.

I just finished all of Doors Awakening and immediately went to grab this one. I’ll play the third as well. I love puzzle games and these are above and beyond. Absolutely beautiful. The challenges are tough enough to keep me interested, but not impossible. Very well done and, in my opinion, worth the $ to unlock all levels.

The art work is fabulous. Moving around, tapping on objects, works flawlessly. My favorite part, no time limit, no “energy” to obtain or lose. Puzzles were challenging enough to keep your interest but not so difficult to frustrate you. All in all an enjoyable waste of my time. I will be purchasing the entire package. Hats off to the developers.

This game was unbelievably amazing! The first Doors was so great with the person that you followed through the doors, learning about the story that was going on. In this one, it’s all about humanity and learning how their actions affect the planet. So cool. At the end, you even have the option of trying out two different endings. Amazing!

I haven’t enjoyed a spectacular, beautiful and challenging game for years, and I’m 66 years old!I have appreciated them so much, I purchased the entire set. I have also obtained many of the Snapbreak games, and can’t wait to continue the “joyride”. These are simply brilliant! Thank you ever so much! John

I have insomnia and play their games before bed. They help so much. They’re beautiful and relaxing. Fun and occasionally I’ll even get stumped. I am a huge puzzler, and I highly recommend their games! I always pay the small fee for their full packs. Totally worth my it. I’ll be sad when I’ve gone through them all.

I have played your first game and the minute the sequel came out, I downloaded it and started solving the puzzles. I found both to be very enjoyable and the fact each level had a theme made it very satisfactory. I’m eagerly awaiting the next Doors game. Please make it already!

I really enjoy games like theses 🥰 I have been playing for awhile and I have 2 Issues with your game. 1. You can’t save your game! When you leave the game you have to start over….Not encouraging to want to continue! 2. I Paid for 2 games and YOU WANT ME TO PAY TO FINISH OR TO GET THE REST OF GAMES. IN THAT SECTION! Shame on you 😡🤬

Beautiful graphics, puzzles that are challenging without being annoying—what more could you ask of a game like this. The No-ads iap is reasonable and I’m happy to support the great developers of this series of games. Highly recommended!

Loved playing the free ones. Unfortunately I am on a family Apple share so I can’t purchase more of the games, but I thoroughly enjoyed what a did play. Beautiful and just the right amount of brain power needed for an old gal.

While the game itself is an endearing puzzle game, not too challenging yet not to much of a cakewalk, my experience was severely diminished by the select choice of advertisements in between puzzles. Most of these ads I have gotten were very inappropriate and could practically fall under softcore works. The puzzles are fun but be wary of the ads in between.

I honestly have trouble with these new app games, now this one, its amazing!! Barely ads and if there is you can skip them, the game is designed so well and its so intriguing i will say. The colors and the aesthetic is too good. I love the mystery also and im only on level 4!!! had to stop and write a review (:

This game is so different from others I’ve played. Visually, it’s truly beautiful. The puzzles are clever without being frustratingly unachievable. I look forward to time spent in this little world. Many thanks to the developers.

Every time I find a new one I tell my mother and she gets just as excited as I do. The graphics are stunning and the puzzles aren’t ridiculously hard making this very relaxing and enjoyable. Keep 'em coming!

Love the unique puzzles - they are soooo incredible & the beautiful stunning graphics draw me in- I can’t get enough of this game - excellent job & I haven’t seen to many fantastic games but this by far became one of my favorite-

The game is way better than his prequel, which was already excellent puzzle game. Each door has many more secrets and unique mechanics. The graphics, music and sound effects are on top level again. Da Vinci theme for such game is on the spot. Great job!

Have been waiting for something similar to samorost, these games trump those. Thank you for your gift of games.

Much better than the first game... although i felt they relied on sliding block & pattern puzzles far too often in this one rather than designing something with a bit more creativity. And i HATE sliding block puzzles too, lol

Watched a bunch of ads for a hint. Didn’t give me a hint. Supposed to give 1 hint per ad. Most of the game is easy but fun. 1 hint pointed to a spot that does absolutely itching when you interact with it. Wanted another hint and just gives the same hint. Watched more ads No hints were rewarded. fix the glitch or it’s just a scam.

Holds your attention, worth 5$ for each game. They truly put a lot of effort into the meticulous design of each level. I love how each level creates new challenges, no repetition.

Images are well done with interesting mechanical actions. Just started and my interest is heightened.....we’ll see where it leads.

We love playing this game on our IPAD but it won’t work on the iPhones. I updated but as soon as we try to open it it closes down. I would give it 5 stars if it would open on my phone. Please fix the error. We have IPhone XR and 11.

But when you pay $4.99 to play further, it’s so hard it’s almost impossible! And you do NOT get endless hints as it indicated. If you’re supposed to - they took my money and still only give me 1 hint. I wouldn’t advise spending money unless you’re a super genius. It’s so hard it takes the fun out of it.😞

I’m on level five and enjoying this puzzle game quite a lot. The graphics are awesome and the puzzles make you think without being stressful.

I’m an architect and think these puzzles are beautifully presented. Interesting puzzles of just the right difficulty for me. Please do more with this platform.

You get 8 doors for free, then it’s 4.99 for the rest. Would give 5 stars if they just stated that right up front because I appreciate/will pay for beautifully designed games.

I love this game but I wish it would have more levels that you don’t have to pay for people there is only eight levels that you don’t have to buy

So far, still early in the game and really enjoining it. Most of these games are very difficult, got through first 2 doors fairly easy. Looking forward to the rest.

Very intriguing, and it keep me on my toes. It’s not too easy or too hard. I love it. I will purchase once more levels are added. Because knowing me I’ll be done with the 16 levels in under an hour.

I adore this game but when I got stuck I opted to see what $1.99 would get me. Well, I got ZERO. And the only option available is to skip the puzzle which I don’t wish to do. I’m glad I waited rather than jump in with the $5.99 purchase.

This is probably considered an easy game but perhaps I needed one😁 It’s beautifully designed artwork and inter-related mechanisms. Best of all, for me, it’s not so hard that I have to get a bunch of hints or see a walkthrough.

I have only gotten through a couple of levels so far. The puzzles are fairly challenging. Nice graphics. I need to play it more to really evaluate the game.

I downloaded it and once I started I couldn’t stop! I can’t continue now without buying more puzzles and I really don’t want to have to do that. Finished what puzzles they have within an hour.. It’s so much fun though.. but I will be deleting it now :/

It’s intriguing, mind challenging. My only quibble is I wish the hints would actually show me how to solve the puzzle rather than just pointing the the puzzle that needs solving

Was fun and passed time. Just wish there where more levels. Finished in two days, maybe a total of fives hours. Come on man Hahahaha

Enjoyable little puzzle game. Not terribly difficult but still very enjoyable. Was really disappointed that it’s $4.99 to unlock the rest of the 16 levels. That’s just way too much fir that little content.

There is no better puzzle on the net then these puzzles you will get hooked on all of them
