The Doubleknot Checkin app for iOS is part of Doubleknot's cloud-based suite of event management, facility management, membership management and POS software for nonprofits and mission-based organizations. The app is free for all Doubleknot users. The Doubleknot Checkin app scans and validates tickets, checks in attendees and records attendance for events configured in Doubleknot. With mobile checkin, you can scan tickets and manage attendance anywhere without worrying about additional infrastructure. The mobile checkin app can use your iOS device's rear camera to scan any Doubleknot ticket or membership card that uses a QR code. In addition, you can use a Socket Mobile Bluetooth 2-D scanner to scan tickets and membership cards for validation by the app. Visitors can print their tickets or display them on their smartphones (including adding the tickets to Apple Wallet). To check in an individual or a group using your iOS device, just launch the app, touch Scan and hold your iPhone or iPad over the QR code displayed on the printed ticket or on the ticketholder's smartphone. When you hear a beep, the person or group is checked in. Information about the ticketholder will be displayed so you can greet them personally or follow up on a balance due. If you're using a Socket Mobile Bluetooth 2-D scanner, it's even easier--just launch the app and scan the ticket. Please note that the Doubleknot Checkin app only works with tickets generated by Doubleknot. To use the app, you must have a valid Doubleknot logon with permissions for event management.
