Dry Bar Comedy+

I kept randomly coming across Dry Bar videos on Facebook. A lot of the comedians were really funny, so I started following them. As soon I saw there was an app, I knew I had to download it immediately. I’m so happy I did! I have found some awesome comedians on here... Shane Smith, Zoltan Kaszas, Matt Falk & Kellen Erskine are my faves. I love that I can watch the full special. My only complaint is that I wish I could have the app running in the background and still playing. Sometimes I like to listen to them when I’m driving or doing other things, so it would be nice if I could use my phone for maps, games etc and still have this playing. Luckily my faves are also on Apple Music.

Watched quite a few of the shows on Facebook, decided to get the app. The comedians are hysterical and I’m so glad there are so many to choose from. HOWEVER the app is incredibly slow and buggy. It rarely ever lets me skip ahead (which I have to do when I try to continue watching a video where I left off...so it starts you over and then is so buggy it won’t let me fast forward), I attempted the laugh button—no go. And most of the time I can’t even watch full screen because it won’t convert and just plays a small screen with the pause button and back/forward a few seconds buttons over the screen...which I can rarely ever get to go away. And then if I want to pause it...it doesn’t pause despite the massive pause button that lives over the clip almost at all times (and if it goes away, it’s a fluke, it seems). I’m so disappointed. This app has some great potential, but there needs to be some changes to make it actually usable and with watching it here and not just on Facebook watch—which is where I will be watching the comedy from now on. (Maybe I’ll check back in occasionally to see if anything has improved...I hope so!) —iPhone user. I do have an iPhone 6, so maybe that has something to do with it...but if I’ve updated the latest version of software and I don’t have any issues on any other app, I would hope it’s not necessarily my phone that’s causing issues.

I absolutely LOVE the comedy. Many of these have me in stitches and I watch almost every day during lunch to “keep it real”. However, since the last update the UI is TERRIBLE. As a few others I’m have stated, when you open the app, there is a random short clip that automatically starts playing. But you have to wait for it to buffer then start, then pause it so you can go to the actual videos. Otherwise it will just continue to play in the background. Also, although there is an indicator on each video in the full (long) list of videos of which ones you’ve watched, there is no longer a separate section of videos you’ve watched or videos you’ve started and would like to finish. So if I started an older video yesterday, I either have to remember which on it was and search for it, or scroll through the long list until I find it again. I’d much rather have a section that simply shows videos I haven’t finished yet like they had before the update. And that “home” screen with the video clips that start automatically is completely useless. Developers: please get rid of that silly home screen and bring back the ability to easily see the videos I’ve started without having to scroll through all of them. Thanks!

This _was_ a great app with great entertainment. Every night I’d pick a comic and get 1/2 hour or more of chuckles while I fell sleep. The latest up date isn’t worth your time. The screen is stuck on the announcement that there’s been an update. There is a “Got it” button but it’s 1/2 hidden behind a “library” button and neither one of them work. A random comic starts talking and loops back every 4 or 5 minutes repeating his routine again and again. His jokes were funny the first time but wear thin by the 4th time. After poking everything on the screen, I finally pushed ”Drybar” at the top of the page. I got to a different screen and comic but the first comic kept going. Had to go back and pause him so I could hear the 2nd. The second only spoke for a few minutes at time before there was either a commercial or a repeat of his spiel. I deleted and downloaded again to no avail. I’m sorry to lose this app and the fun, clean humor it provided. When you fix the superbug that killed your audience, please let me know and I’ll be the first to sign up again.

I have been hooked on Dry Bar Comedy since it appeared on Facebook. Mary Mack, Alex Velluto, Greg Morton - those are just three of my many favorites. The comedy is clean, and if one finds a few very subtle sexual innuendos here and there so be it. No one is dropping the f-bomb in Dry Bar comedy. No one is cursing just to be cursing like many so-called comedians do to entertain the drunks. I think it takes a lot more talent to be funny without resorting to swearing every five words, and Dry Bar proves it. Do yourself and favor download this app. The comedians are very funny, the app is easy to use, and it is definitely something a Christian can watch without feeling compromised. If Alex Velluto reads this, my wife and I will be attending the Dry Bar Comedy Tour when it comes to Peoria, IL in May. I hope to get an autograph or a picture! Keep up the great work, and thanks for keeping me laughing!

After a decade in the military, I’m no stranger to off-color humor. I don’t nude it and am not offended by it often. But the reality is, comedy doesn’t rely on shocking language or overly sexual or drug related discomfort to get laughs. It’s true people laugh when they are uncomfortable, and comedians fall back on that laughter to keep a flat show from getting worse. The best comedians get consistent laughter for being genuinely funny. I’m satisfied time after time when watching dry bar. It’s not that I’m here for G-rated fun, far from it, I’m just here for 5-star comedy, and this format finds it. I still like many comics who are funny and dirty, I just consistently like comics that can do clean, because they are actually funny. This is membership is worth it.

I’d give 10 stars if I could, DryBar is making this grouchy 60 year old laugh again. What’s not to love? This app showcases some truly outstanding talent, delivering exceptional humor without the off-color language no one needs or wants to hear. They are constantly updating their lineup with new names, which keeps things fresh and keeps us coming back for more. I would like to see the app offer users the option to flag shows already seen since — between us — we can’t remember who is more forgetful 😆. I also look forward to the return of the “tip” option, allowing us to express our appreciation to outstanding performers. Seriously, best pandemic investment ever.

The Good: Great comedy selection. Some of my favorite comedians are on here and I definitely look forward to discovering some new ones. Menu is pretty easy to navigate and videos don’t buffer every five seconds like other comedy apps. The Bad: some minor bug fixes are definitely needed... after loading and watching my first video, the app won’t reload the menu properly without shutting down and restarting the app just a minor inconvenience. Some videos are loading with only sound no picture. And occasionally the screen won’t rotate properly so again shut down and restart to fix. The Ugly: It does have scene selection however when I’ve used it, it seems to start all of these problems all at once. Overall a great app, if the bugs were worked out it’d definitely be a 5 star review for me.

I never leave reviews on anything but I thought I should tonight. Dry bar has been my favorite new app. Over the last week I’ve listened to quite a few comedians who were amazing and clean. Jeff Allan, Dennis Regan, Brad Upton, Kevin Jordon, Zoltan Kaszaz , & Keven Bosman were a few I remember really liking. However tonight I ask my daughter to watch some clean comedy on this new clean comedy app I found. My daughter and I started watching Patrick Keene’s set & to my surprise pretty soon after he started he was talking about his Mom asking him if he’s getting laid by his girlfriend so we turned it off. We were both embarrassed. I didn’t want to wait around for the entire joke & good thing I had the remote in hand. May have lost a subscriber. I must say you are a lot cleaner than Netflix or HBO but you shouldn’t call yourself clean comedy if you’re not.

Every week, I try to watch a new comedian and they all make me laugh like crazy. But, I find it frustrating to use this app at the same time, for the following reasons: 1. Because when you open it, you have to wait for it to load up, then after it’s loaded, you attempt to open a video to play and watch, but it reloads all the videos 2. After all the videos have reloaded, and going to the bottom of the selection, as I do, I tap on the next one to watch. That’s the good part. But the bad part about that is, after you have started the video, sometimes the video plays without any problems, but more often than not the video does NOT play at all! That’s the part I hate. 3. Also, after watching the video of choice, whether you watch it all or part of it, when you tap the icon to close the video, it refreshes the list, EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! WHY??? It’s a pain to go all the way back to the bottom of the list to find the video you started to watch. This also happens with the ‘favorites’ list. None of these problems have anything to do with my connection at all, because everything else on my phone work just fine. It’s this app alone!

Review Update: this was easily a five star app, that became a three star app when I updated to iOS 13 (see review below). However, with the updates of iOS 13 to fix its bugs, this app has been rendered completely useless. All I get is a black screen and the zoom in/out arrow circle. So very disappointed. FIX IT, PLEASE!!!! For goodness sakes, there’s no point to having an app that literally does nothing. Waste of space, and your stars are only going to keep dropping if you aren’t going to update it. Not recommended. Old Review: We love this app! We love all the comedy and that it is so clean and funny. However, ever since I updated to iOS 13, the double column of comedians blew up and now you can only see one side of them, whether in the search or the favorites. So if you don’t know the name of the comedian you want, you can’t find new ones. Please fix this problem. Other than that, this app is highly recommended.

EDIT: Holy crow. They fixed the “clean” issue but introduced a subscription service with seemingly no warning. What a dirty move. I need to preface this review by saying I love Dry Bar Comedy and VidAngel. I appreciate having a hub for tons of clean comedy specials and the app works decently well (with a couple of notes from the other reviewers applying). However, I need to address the issue of "clean". They must define "clean" in a different way than I do because there have been some rather close-cutting sexual innuendos and I've even heard a curse word in Bone Hampton's comedy special in "It Is What It Is". I'm a huge fan of Bone's work but cursing should never be labeled as "clean" and neither should jokes that have innuendos in them. Should these issues be addressed, I'd be more than happy to give a 5-star review, but however much the "clean" part is generally true, there have been some particularly sour exceptions.

First of all, we thank you for providing wholesome, clean comedy that my entire family has enjoyed during the dark days of lockdowns. It meant a lot. I knew the day would come that you’d need to start charging subscriptions. I wish it didn’t have to be. So many families cannot afford to pay for extra-monthly payments than what we already do pay for life necessities. So sad to say it, but we shall part ways here. However, Please know that I don’t feel bad because Drybar isn’t free anymore. I’m more concerned for the livelihood of the comedians. I hope you survive this change, or decide to come back to no subscription, when you realize the tipping has plummeted. I hope the comedians demand it be switched back because I’m sure their tips will dwindle to little or nothing compared to what they were getting previously. So, I hope this change is for the good but you have just dropped a lot of these comedians support from non-subscription viewers and fans. May these comedians turn to another medium to provide clean wholesome comedy to those willing to pay tips instead of subscriptions.

Have had app for over a year and lots of great content. However, there is no way to see what videos I have previously watched. I have no idea if colored bars below the title when you click on a thumbnail mean anything. There is no way to quickly view which comedians have more than one video. There are no stats on which comedians have more favorable reviews or which videos have been viewed the most. The old content seems stronger than the newer content. The newer content seems to be comedians with less experience and an awkward stage presence that are just not funny.

Hey why do I all of a sudden have to pay to watch dry bar comedy when I didn’t just 3 days ago? I feel like if I joined and watched for so long I should at least have a free 24 hour period when I open the app to get the subscription or to enjoy the last 24 hours before I can’t watch it anymore Either way thank you for making my days filled with laughter and joy, please keep up the good work and defiantly recommend dry bar to anyone who loves comedy (I especially recommend Jason hewet or however you spell his name)

Don’t bother downloading this app. The new version is just a money grab. It used to be free to watch and I tipped frequently. Now they’ve joined everyone else and their mother in going to a subscription model. I liked to sit down and grab a show every once in a while. Not enough to make any sort of subscription worth it. “It’s less than $5/month!”, you might say… so is the subscription for app A, app B, App C and so on. Next thing you know, you’re paying $150/month is subscriptions for things you probably only use here or there. This new model is a shame and I hope comics don’t bother booking at Dry Bar. I’m not paying monthly to watch and that means fewer eyes on the shows and fewer tips in the coffer for the comics (and you just *know* Dry Bar took a cut of those, too).

I am a huge fan of Dry Bar, I follow them on just about every platform. I was really excited to have the app but I have had nothing but problems since I downloaded it. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling on more than one occasion. The problem is I ALWAYS get a black screen when the video starts. Without fail I have to close and reopen the app several times to get the picture and then it’ll usually freeze mid performance. Sometimes I’ll give up and just “listen” to the performance but the screen will time out because the phone doesn’t recognize that anything is playing. I really wish I could use the app the way it was intended.

I have a listened to dry bar for over a year… I have never encountered the glitchiness that some people talk about… I really enjoy that the comics are clean and really funny… I have also enjoyed “tipping “the comedians that I thought were exceptionally funny. But today, I went to look at dry bar and now everything is locked and I have to purchase a new app? No notice no forewarning… Come on dry bar… It would be nice to give your loyal followers some kind of notice or information about what’s going on.

I’m writing this review because I read the “Not Quite 100% Clean Review.” I thought maybe they had a point if that is what is being advertised. I didn’t personally agree with it because I love the comedy and the app but I can respect someone else’s opinion. Then I read the criteria under the 12+ rating of the app. Which states that this app has infrequent use of mild profanity and mild sexual innuendos. So I just don’t think it’s fair to give a 1 star rating when this app delivers exactly what it says it’s going to and does it very well at that. Keep the comedy coming this app is amazing!

Have loved Drybar for years and I confess Ive seen every single comedian they have on this app to date of this review. Would have been 5 stars for sure. However, I guess they have learned that nothing is truly free and they are now charging to watch the comedians. Perhaps this is fine for those new to the app, but for me, a VERY longtime user, this is unacceptable. I will support the comedians i like, but this has now become a JASS (just another subscription service). Whats next, an option to listen to comedians that arent clean? Dont like the direction and subscriptions are a budget "no" for me so consider this app deleted from me phone. I will definitely miss the clean comedy. Best wishes and heres a metaphorical "in my heart" five star rating for how amazing the app used to be. 💗

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS For keeping me laughing with these hilarious comedians. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS For exceptionally clever humor. (This is all clean comedy. I have nothing against swearing and off color humor, but in my opinion it takes more talent to be funny when you can tell a story without using profanity as a crutch. When it actually enhances the punchline then it’s a treat.) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS It’s something I can listen to with or without video— which is why I downloaded the app, for working out, cleaning house, driving, walking the cat. Yes, I walk my cat. ⭐️ 1 STAR The app is really buggy. Doesn’t work as it should for rewind, forward, respond to new selections, fill screen in landscape mode... even dictating this review was painfully worse than Siri. The interface is beautiful, video and audio are crystal clear, and the routines are indexed by bits. If the technology of the app was as good as the humor of the comedians I’d give the whole thing 5 stars. But hopefully just ⭐️ will get the attention of the developers to debug the glitches. Now to return and keep laughing (probably to something I’ve already heard since I can’t advance to the next bit)...

The people on this are funny and I enjoy listening to them, but it doesn’t have a full screen option and it also doesn’t have a way to save your favorite comedians. You can only favorite certain shows they did. Personal preferences aside, it glitches out constantly by having the show you selected disappear bringing you back to the menu to select another one without a way to get back to your selected one. Another problem is the fact that it won’t interact or respond to where you have tapped on the screen but will close out a few moments after you try to skip forward a segment or try to select a segment later on.

In case you didn’t know, there are several issues with the app. It’ll crash for the smallest things, if I want to use the laugh button, crash. If I want to turn the phone sideways, crash. If I want to skip, crash. It’s not every single use, but it happens more and more often. I really enjoy Dry Bar. The comedians are HILARIOUS, I personally don’t think you have to swear or be nasty to be funny. So I LOVE Dry Bar, but this app is such a disappointment! They’ve now raised their price (which I can understand). However if you want my money (and you’ll get it), then I need it to be for an app that won’t crash every 5 seconds.

The day after my husband of 22 years left me I bumped into Dry Bar and fell asleep night after night binge-watching the genius of Jeff Allen, Jose Sarduy, Dwayne Perkins and Shayne Smith. Dry Bar was my “safe place” - clean, creative, intelligent comedy that got me through grief-filled days during an isolating pandemic. A year later I’m still enjoying 1-2 shows a night - (we’re still in a pandemic) - and I can truly say, that because of Dry Bar, divorce has been a laughing matter. Thanks guys!

I really want this app to work but even with my iPhone 11 it’s constantly freezing and the features won’t work. If I favorite one it doesn’t show up under the favorites area. If I try to go forward or back it responds to that tap after a full 5 -10 seconds so if you do it more than once it’s a mess. The screen gets stuck halfway between playing and the search area if you try to manipulate or go back. If the developers would fix it to work properly I think people would really use it and be willing to tip the comedians. As is, it will likely get deleted. A real shame...

I stumbled onto their site totally by accident l I watched a show & much to my surprise there were no offensive words! It was a true comedy show. I watched again the following night & realized that I didn’t make a mistake. I watched it for about a week when I decided I would pay to have such clean comedy available. Absolutely no mistake on my part. One of the best decisions I ever made. I have good clean comedy at my fingertips whenever I want! Don’t ever leave the ‘net Dry Bar!!!

This app started out great. Love all the comedians, really clean good content; however, when you click on the app, and you’re in the Home tab, whatever video there will autoplay, and even moving to a different tab like the Favorites or the Profile won’t stop the video, and even if you play another video from your list, the video on the Home tab will continue to play. This is kind of annoying to have to wait for the video to buffer, pause, THEN search and watch the content you want. Thank you.

I absolutely love this app. The only problem is that that it doesn’t work effectively, and it breaks very often. It might be because I use a later iPhone but I’ve had the following issues: would not register pressing only dragging, tilting phone would break app in multiple different ways, hard to navigate back to screen casting. I also have one suggestion: make the shows still play after the app is closed! I would still recommend overall

I love comedy and this has a lot of really funny comedians!!! I was already a big fan of Jeff Allen, Leland Klaussen, Bone Hampton and Daren Streblow and one of my favorite new guys is Greg Morton. I’m just getting started. The reviewer who gave this a one star because of it not being clean does not realize how ratings work. You said it was mostly good and gave it a one star?!? You realize there’s other numbers right, like maybe a 3 perhaps? Whatever, I’ve seen all of Bone’s specials and saw him live in person once and never heard him curse. 5 stars from me!!!

I love the concept where you can watch shows and follow your favorite comedians but I would love for the app to work even when the phone is off and when you’re on other apps because i truly do love the app. That’s one major thing I would love for you guys to do but when I play a show it automatically freezes the screen but not the actual clip of the comedian. I would also appreciate it if you guys could do a multi screen type of thing where you can still navigate through the app while listening to the current show.

I love the videos and impatiently wait for the news ones to be uploaded. Oh ts frustrating when I open the app on my tv and anticipate a new video only to see all that's been uploaded is the tip video and it can take a few days to be fixed. Im just curious who puts the videos up to be watched? Some are uploaded early, some not til days later and there's a least one video where the sound doesn't match the movement of the comedians mouth.

“The Human Cannon Ball” Dave Dugan is hilariously funny. His delivery of jokes is more satisfying than pizza delivery. His humorous story-telling is second to none. And, his self-deprecating style is sure to delight any audience. Dave effectively utilizes “observational humor” that always hits on all cylinders. I LOVE THIS GUY’S WIT and have seen his “The Human Cannon Ball” routine a half dozen times. Dave Dugan is the consummate comedian and his shows always crack me up and blow me away! His comedy never goes out of fashion because he is quite simply forever funny!!! Ronald Thomas Brake

I LOVE the content on this app, but that is where my love stops. 1-You cannot continue to play the audio of a video of the phone or tablet is locked, the video must be showing in order to hear the audio (that’s dumb). 2-Can’t resume a video at your last viewed point. You have to manually find your spot on the video. 3-Can’t continue to listen to audio if you minimize the app. The only way to open another application or do anything else on your phone/tablet while listening is to turn on PIP from the landscape position. 4-No settings whatsoever. Can’t creat a profile, can’t sign in to one, can’t change any settings like the problems above. 5-can’t brows other videos to add to your favorite and still listen or watch the video you are viewing. If you want to minimize or hit back from the video you are in, you will exit out of the audio and video you are watching and likely lose your spot in that video. Could be great but it’s not there yet.

I don’t know if this is a true Christian organization or not but I believe that this world is going backwards fast and anything that brings Godly principles and morals back in this world needs to be supported. Please help rate and donate to this cause. I’ve seen a few comedy specials on this app so far and they have been great. I’ve read a review saying there is cursing but I haven’t heard anything yet. Feel free to check for yourself but I cannot believe these are all free to watch! Thank you so much!!!!

I love the app and everything about it. However, I wish there was one feature. There should be a way to listen to the comedy away from home, and not use your entire data plan. I would like to listen with my phone locked (so that less data is used), or download the video online (so no data is used). There isn’t a way I can add suggestions in the app, so I am putting it here. Thanks for reading my suggestion.

I subscribed to Dry Bar a few years back and stayed with it during the COVID Lockdown, even after they started to change the annual fee, ‘cause I figured it was the price of a couple nights at a comedy club, and it would allow me to support the comedians that weren’t allowed to perform. Whenever I feel I need an attitude adjustment I remember that I have prepaid access to the AAA farm league of American Comedians. And I can get belly laughs without the F-Bombs!

I love the comedians! I love the app I love what you’re doing with the industry, I have a iPhone 11 I’m at home my WiFi is on and strong, and for some reason the video won’t work no matter what I click on! I tried restarting my phone deleting and redownloading the app, but I cannot get videos to play! And you guys just did an update, before that it was a whole other issue with lagging and crashes! And honestly I’ve donated to The comedians a good amount I KNOW that you guys are receiving a cut of that, invest in proper software and get the app where it needs to be for ALL PLATFORMS. Please.

New version of app tried to improve the terrible UI and create a paywall since the donations were not flowing in. The UI change got rid of one of the most important filters which was to see reviews to help filter the good from the mediocre. So now all the videos are equal in that sense in an attempt to give everyone equal footing. The biggest issue is that they now want a subscription for the majority of the content. I’m sorry but no thank you, you need more revenue ok but do it with ads or other means… don’t put onus on customers. It’s a real shame as there were some fantastic gems here and clean comedy is hard to find.

I really enjoyed the app and even got quite a few others to look into it. Sadly they decided to start charging for it. I understand that there are costs for running things like this, but you charged for the shows and you obviously don’t pay the comedians much since you have them begging for tips. I’m just disappointed that VidAngel seems to have gone so corporate. I guess next they’ll need to let some seedier content through to make more money. DISAPPOINTED

Great, fun, clean comedy in one easy to listen app. Something that I don’t have to worry my kids will hear. The app can be very glitchy, though. Seems okay to pick a video and watch entirety, but difficult to navigate through a video (skip forward or back). Won’t always let you “laugh at” or “love” jokes. When it locks up, it is easily remedied by closing & reopening. Only downside is when you were in the middle of listening to a great comedian & you can’t find the segment again.

I’ve been watching Dry Bar Comedy for about 3 years now and it’s by far my favorite comedy channel. Their app makes it easy to access all the shows they’ve recorded. I will say, I’m disappointed that the recent update took away the ability to rate each special and see the ratings, but it’s not that big of a deal. I just love that there’s a channel with clean comedy for everyone to enjoy!

It is extremely rare to be able to find content that is wholesome like the comedy on the DryBar comedy app, that is why it pains me to only give it three stars. I have not been able to get the app to play for about two to three days and a couple of the comedians, seemingly on purpose, snuck in a couple of curse words. At least a couple of them have eluded to adult content with a wink and a smile, if you will. All of that being said the majority of the comedians on here are respectful and very funny. I do strongly recommend this app. Would like these two things addressed.

App is very glitched, screen rotates back and forth between full view on its own and when I the full screen view the video turns into just a small box in the top left corner and you can’t fix it. Also the pause options like to pop up and most of the times those buttons don’t even work and you can’t get them off of the screen. I’ve only watched two specials and and so annoyed I am deleting the whole app together. As I’ve been sitting here the problems are just getting worse and I’m worried this app will screw up my phone. The idea of the app is great but the execution was poor and quite frankly just doesn’t work or function properly.

I know it’s a free app and the content is great but if you are going to put an app out there it really needs to be less bug ridden. Changing from portrait to landscape take 5 seconds and leaves the playback controls on the screen for another 10-15. Once a video is playing tapping the screen takes 10-15 seconds for controls to reappear, if they ever do. Don’t know if this is a result of the latest app upgrade (been a little while since I used it) or a result of the latest iOS upgrade (13.3.1) which I just did the other day

I love watching Dry Bar Comedy videos, but the app really makes it hard to enjoy them. The player is absolutely buggy to the point where I avoid touching the controls, while hoping that they won’t lock up. The controls do work sometimes, but otherwise they will lag out. It takes multiple seconds for an action to register and any subsequent tap or action will also take a long while. I’ll give up and then maybe 30 seconds later all the input I gave the controls will finally respond. I hope you devs can work out these bugs.

This is a great app concept. I LOVE the comedy. But it doesn’t really work. I have favorited several of the acts and they never show up in my favorites. I can’t pause the show it favorite the separate jokes. The video stays small no matter what you do. The tip and share buttons do not work. And once I choose a comedian to listen to I can’t pause, go back, or navigate the app at all anymore. I have to force the app closed and reopen it to look for someone else. Very buggy.

The one thing that bothers me is that the comedians solicit tips. There’s a tip button that says “this is a critical way the comedians get paid” While I think that if they’re not making enough money from VidAngel they should get better paying gigs, the tip button doesn’t bother me so much as when the comedians flat out ask for tips like: “I’m such and such. Thanks for watching my special. If you enjoyed it, there is a tip button at the bottom of your screen. You can tip as much as you want.” (Or things along those lines)

First there is no search icon. Not a bug I know. The screen also does not turn sideways without having to do it multiple times to get the app to do it correctly. Then while watching the app the screen goes dark and bring up the pause/rewind/fast foreword screen with out being triggered. Who wrote this app? I mean really? They were willing to put their name in this piece of work? Oh it was someone/company named VidAngel. Wonder if the actually put this on their resume. The saving grace was that I loved the comics.

Sometimes life is unfortunate, but it is always good to look for the humor in things. Sometimes i can’t find that on my own, but have laughed out loud with my sister for hours while watching dry bar. Nothing offensive even when they make political comments, both sides of the aisle are able to laugh freely. App does have some glitches. Please fix those that others have requested

Good idea, but app is a bit clunky. As many other have stated it doesn’t run in the background or have the ability to cast. I once used the search feature to look up a comedian I liked and it came up with zero results, however listed the comedian right below the search results in “recently watched” section ?? Third I’ve never been able to tip. I have an iPhone and haven’t seen where I can setup an account to tip. So when I attempt to tip I get the same error, waiting for payment approval.
