Love these wines but the search function in the app is not great. I have three main suggestions: 1- When searching by name, the search should work whether you use diacritic marks (like accents) or not. For example, when I searched for a wine by typing “le velo”, nothing appeared, but it worked when I searched “le vélo”. 2- When searching by label, if there are multiple results, the screen just tells you there are multiple results but you can’t see or click on any of them. 3- On the “Family of Growers” screen, it would be very helpful to be able to search by country. For example, I was curious if you had any wines from England, but it’s impossible to find that out unless you want to click on every individual grower and read their bio.
This app is wonderful! We use to take pictures of bottles or wine we liked to research and remember. This app makes it so simple to learn about the wines and the growers. Thank you!
Our family loves what we get from Dry Farms Wine. The app just doesn’t work for us. We want more info on the wines, especially those that don’t have a Dry Farms label on them. We use the app and it can’t find the wine we just took out of the box sent to us. Sad face. Buy the wine—it’s great and hopefully app can improve to match the quality of the wine. Thanks for the great, natural wine that is broadening our horizons and educating and intoxicating our palettes.
Firstly, I am a huge fan of Dry Farm Wines, they are 5 stars easily. The app, however leaves much to be desired. I downloaded so I could scan the labels to learn more and save favorites, however, neither works very well. I’ve scanned 4 bottles and they are either not found or it says found but shows nothing. It is not a user friendly app.
App is horrible!! Why is there no more online library??
They got rid of the online library where I can compare bottles side by side in multiple tabs and replaced it with this horrible app that is glitchy and doesn’t have a full list. I tried searching for some DFW bottles and they either don’t come up or take me to a different bottle using the scan photo option. BRING BACK THE WEBSITE!!!
Great ideal and was excited about it but most of the wines I have from dry wine farms are not in library. Build up the library so that I can read about wines I have and maybe a little more info would be nice too but first build the library! You get that and this would be really cool app.
Nice concept, but Dry Farms should update the app before sending out wines to customers. 4 of the 6 bottles I ordered aren’t in their app. One of the vineyards isn’t in it at all. Haven’t tried the wine yet. Hope it’s delicious!
Opened a bottle of dry farms red last night only to find multiple dead insects (caterpillars?) around the inside of the neck. Dry Farms replied to my feedback by telling me many customers “cherish” the “sediment” in their wines. If insects in your wine is what you’re into, look no further than Dry Farms..
I wish the app was better. Dry farm lost $ with me. I just gave up so many times while trying to get more wine. It is hard to navigate and place orders.
I tried three bottles. Two are not in the database, and the third has very little information. The idea is great, and maybe I’ll come back when you have more data. Or not.
This app does not work. It’s says it sent a code via email and no code was sent. Just became a member of this wine club a few weeks ago. I hope this is not representative of the company. The wines are not cheap!
