The idea of the app is great but it’s a 50/50 chance if it’ll work when your using it. Like other comments have said, makes it difficult and frustrating when working deals. Also, not enough effort put into making this app. It looks like I could’ve made this on my desktop in 5 minutes.
Our dealership requires that we use this app. The experience is that it thinks your customer is already loaded in it. It also crashes before you can load the co buyer driver license and insurance . Once it crashes you wonder if the information went in or not. The idea of the program is that you don’t have to have paper copies of personal information, but since you are unsure in the information was captured or not you have to re ask the customer for documents and photo copy them. This program is a great way to double your work and the time it takes to complete a deal.
This app would be a lot better if a lot more time and effort was put into its development. I am not sure who was in charge of the ux/ui design and development but it honestly feels like it was slapped together in about 5 minutes. It takes multiple times to scan the license the application fails to save customer profiles more often than not and the interface is still feels like it is a pre alpha build also the fact that there is zero compatibility with other applications from COX automotive makes the system even less desirable to use.
I was surprised at some of the reviews. I found the app super easy to use and have been using it for over a year. Like anything there was a learning curve, but it didn’t take long to figure it out. It makes it so easy for me to check in every customer , every time.
Been using this at our dealership for a few months and you never know if it’s going to work or not. Constantly the app/site crashes, not a good look when trying to work deals. Tons of glitches it seems like they threw it all together in a week.
I have been using DSGSSMobileApp for about a year on my old iPhone 12 without really any issues. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and when I go to scan a customers license, it just freezes. Not sure if the app needs upgraded to include the new iPhone?
Our dealership recently implemented this software. It’s hard to use and clunky. It’s a good idea and I believe it’s a good practice to make sure our customer’s information is safe. But the scan feature works about 50% of the time, and sometimes doesn’t upload to the database, and the app frequently crashes. These are simply software issues and hopefully will be resolved soon.
Impossible to add customers , you have to delete the app and downloaded again , very time consuming. Great idea but low quality, sometimes work, sometimes doesn’t work.
Ever since moving up to the new iPhone, the app has become unusable. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the app but I’ve only ever had a problem since having the iPhone 15 Pro.
This stupid app works all day until I have a customer right in front of me. Then I have to ask repeatedly to get their license back from them to rescan it. So inconvenient and frankly embarrassing.
This app seems to have issues across the Apple platform. It doesn’t work most of the time when it comes to scanning correctly. My coworkers have Android and seem to have no issues with this app. Not sure why there is a difference in performance between platforms but it is frustrating to deal when working with a customer.
