I have been with DuPage Credit Union since 1989. I highly recommend this institution. All of the associates and others that I have had to interact with over those many years have been really really great. The associates also are very helpful when calling to ask about a problem that maybe you can’t solve yourself. You will not be disappointed if you decide to do your banking with DuPage Credit Union.
I want to transfer money from my checking to my Visa Imagine, but I don’t see away to do it. This is a problem because I was charged for not making a payment in April and now I’m stuck on April as well. Lynn Olson 😱
Latest issue in the revolving bug menu is the bill-pay feature. Though I’ve been paying bills online at DPCU for well over a decade, the app acts like I’m brand new, all of my payees are gone, and asks me to set it up, every single time. The app has to be opened and closed several times before my payees return and I’m able to pay bills.
I continually get the error message “System is not responding. Try again later.” I do try again later and it still doesn’t work. I’ve deleted and reinstalled and it still doesn’t work. Why oh why did DuPage CU find it necessary to launch an app that doesn’t work?!! Mobile banking needs to just worn. This is a black eye for the credit union.
Horrendous excuse of a banking app. It's unintuitive, offers no advanced iOS features such as Touch ID or 3D Touch, and if you had other accounts linked it lost that interaction, which the old app had. The "Instant balances" feature is a joke. Oh, and be prepared to answer security questions over and over. Really, for a mobile app you'd be better off using the website. I honestly don't have a single positive thing to say about it other than perhaps mobile deposit seems to work a bit better than before. The rest however, is a disaster. Throw it out and start over, please!
I was incredibly surprised to see all of the negative reviews. The app has never given me ANY trouble and I use it daily. I feel like it's very user friendly and simple to use. I would suggest a change in being able to rearrange the order of your accounts on your home page but that doesn't deter me from using it. Other than that I very much enjoy this app and the services it provides me.
I am so grateful that when I moved to the area way back in 1970 for my first job out of college, my new boss in the school system told me I should consider becoming a member of DuPage Credit Union. I am so grateful for his advice!!!
The app works well for me in general, such as viewing my accounts and transferring funds between them. However, that being said, each transaction you make takes it's time showing up, plus depositing checks from the mobile option will say that it has been accepted into your account but will show NO signs of it what-so-ever! Probably best to deposit money through the ATM so that it can be used for immediate purposes.
This app is garbage. I was asked to answer a security question months ago, not given a choice about which question to answer, and now I can't remember my answer! So I can't even use the app, not to mention I'm now locked out of my account on EVERY device, and because I work long hours I've been unable to call and have this worked out during the phone center hours. No idea how much money I have, no way to view my transaction history, I'm totally screwed all because DCU can't get it together. Abysmal.
This app started out working just "OK". Now it won't even give me the option of opening up. Prior to the past 2 months of the same error message, every time I tried logging in it required an answer to a security question that I was never asked in the first place. What's up?
this is the worst excuse I have ever seen in my life for a mobile banking application. What's worse is the public website isn't even any better. Meanwhile this thing if you can manage to get it running on your device and God love you if you can, it's so hamstrung and all absolutely devoid of any useful functionality, that if you do manage to get it running, you'll be even more mad that you wasted your time. Here's a hint give this application as wide of birth as you possibly can. It is rubbish
I’ve been with Dupage Credit Union for years. Their app is great! There mobile deposit is reliable and easy to use. I don’t know what people expect, but I’m happy banking with DuPage Credit Union.
App is blocking login attempts by reporting no network connectivity despite having WiFi connection or cell LTE data connection. Truly very frustrating.
I use online banking for few years. The app is so easy and convenient to use. The Dupage CU bank is a blessing with good interest rates to their members.
Every time I try to log in on the app it says "system error has occurred" and then tells me to call the phone number. Of course when I try to do banking on the website as well it is giving me the same error message. This happens WEEKLY. What's the point of offering mobile or online banking if it's completely unreliable? The credit union needs to address this!
This app is super difficult to use and it doesn’t include credit card information, requiring you to log into the website (through an insanely cumbersome process) in order to get a balance, activity, or anything really. I try to never use my accounts here because they make it so hard.
This app is awful. It is clunky and always forgets my Face ID despite saving it in the setting on both the app and Apple settings. It also keeps asking me for a pin from a representative when I log in. I have no fricken clue what that means. Fix this app or I am on my way to bank with a bigger bank that has their stuff together.
It's more than a month since my first review and it's still 20th century. Most times it just "hangs" when you try to open the app! Garbage! It would appear they really don't want you to use the mobile app as most banks do. Very limited functions (can't even add a new bill pay) plus absolutely no help or support functions.
Credit card Transactions are unavailable to see on the app which is seems unique to dpcu. On several occasions mobile deposits have not been processed and dont show up in “history” and being attempted to deposit.
It does what it needs to do but paying bills is clunky. It should display due dates on the accounts. Unfortunately you have to drill into every account to find out what needs to be paid.
I don't know why they would force you to install this different app when the old one worked much better. Logging in is a huge pain. You can't view credit card transactions. In fact, it seems they trashed most of your transaction history. Most of the apps functions that work just jump you to the website where you have to log in again. You're better off just using the website. All of the features work there and it's not hard to use.
Don’t like that the Log Out is now hidden under a menu option. It was so nicer right at the top with one click. User interfaces should be less clicks not more.
The app would be a lot better if it worked. Who would ever need to log into their account to check to see how much money they have after Christmas shopping right? Always system errors, never works, constant maintenance.
Terrible. I don’t know why it seems like this bank is always 10 years behind with any sort of technology. The fingerprint login also does not work with iPhone and the app randomly crashes.
I can't believe the nonsense for login. This need a serious redo. I agree 100% with all other reviews. I am considering moving to another bank, if I can't access mobile banking which is a serious plus for me. Get help please!

I get a verification failure every time I try to login. I'm tired of uninstalling/re-installing after resetting all of my login information only to get another verification error. The old app worked just fine.
Don't bother downloading!! It never works! I always get an error when logging in! I'd give 0 stars if I could! They should have never changed the first app! It worked fine before!!
