My health and dental plan doesn’t automatically pull up, I have to select from a drop down menu my plan and the plans are titled different than what I signed up for in enrollment. I’m logging into my account so why do I have to select my plan- shouldn’t it already be linked? Can’t see current deductible status or even benefit coverage on the app. Phone numbers of providers and addresses of providers in directories are not current. Basically this app is great for digital ID cards.
I was at the dentist. Clicked the “ID Card” button. Loading. Back to Home Screen. Click it again. Loading. Back to Home Screen. Click the “Plan documents” button. Loading. Back to Home Screen. Try again. Same thing. This app doesn’t function on the most important features. You’ll still need to bring your id card to your appointment even if you have this app.
The app is good and navigable. And EMI customer service is the best I’ve had. I am grateful my employer uses them. Never had an issue they couldn’t resolve or explain to me.
On bringing up the app the EMI logo sits over the sign in bar and cannot be activated nor can the screen be moved to bring the bar above the logo to sign in. Also in trying to register an account the birthdate format is asking for numerical input but the screen only gives alphabetical and numerical which cannot be changed. Please fix these problems.
You can’t do anything in the “app”. I can’t open my insurance cards, find a doctor, view statements, EOB, or make a payment in the app. It’s a joke. It’s very difficult to navigate; I just have a dental plan and trying to set up my online account was so confusing!
When I compare the information available on the app to what’s available on the website, the website gives a lot better information and a lot more user-friendly format. The home screen for the app gives you four different categories to choose from, but none of those categories take me to see how much money I have spent on my deductible.I assume the information is somewhere in the app, but I have spent the last 10 minutes searching and have not found it. Terrible user interface.
I downloaded this app and so far it does nothing. Click to view ID card and it’s blank..click to view payment schedule and it’s blank. It has been completely useless so far.
I’ve set up biometric sign in at least three times, but the app keeps inexplicably forgetting my data. In addition, it says you can sign in with your email or username, but recently wouldn’t let me in using email, so I assumed I had the password wrong. At the time, I also couldn’t remember my username, but that was the only password recovery option. What I ended up actually needing was a way to recover the username, and I only figured it out because my spouse had written it down. Overall, pretty much all of my problems are with signing in, and this desperately needs to be fixed.
The EMI Health app allows individuals who are covered by an EMI Health Plan to locate participating medical, dental, and vision providers. Members may also sign in to view their benefit card, plan documents, and explanation of benefits (EOB's).
