Needs Google Earth Tour-like flyover functionality like in Mental Canvas

I can’t believe Endless Paper hasn’t an already implemented this feature because their app purchases would sore if people could send smooth transitions of their work and video form. How it works is that it would go from one bookmark to the next with easing and stay on that bookmark for a set number of seconds then ease towards the next bookmark much like it looks like in Google Earth tour feature. It’s also implemented very well in an app called Mental Canvas. Please implement this feature… It’s the big thing that’s missing from Endless Paper

Do You Take Notes?

Endless Paper is a recent discovery for me. As a Physics teacher, I do a massive amount of calculations. Over time, generally on yellow paper pads, I do my work. The results become disorganized and missing, a lot of wasted time. No more! Now with EP, all my work is now organized, bookmarked, and easy to find and access. If you like to create drawings and artwork, I think you will like it as well, although I am at the stick-figure level. I have contacted app support twice with questions, and both times received a response within 24 hours. The last support response even included a short video clip detailing the answer to my question. AWESOME app support! I highly recommend EP for school notes and mathematical calculations. The work organization, storage, and app support make this my go-to app.

App support like they care

Considering EP but afraid youll be on your own if something doesnt work? Dont be! This is the best app support ive ever had. I had an unusual issue importing older procreate art into EP & emailed tech support never expecting an answer but they responded promptly and worked w me seemingly around the clock until they figured out the issue. (It was a prob on my end & completely unrelated to EP but i wouldnt have been able to isolate it without their help & prevent issue in future.) They were kind & generous with their time, zero snark & even made special guides bc im not mac literate to get info they needed from my end. Issue was resolved within 2 days. I recommend them without hesitation.

Love it! Missing some tools

Absolutely love this app, I use it for everything from work to school to creative projects. The massive scale of canvases allows for so many little details and specifications, I've designed whole d&d worlds on one canvas! There's a few tools I wish it had, like a lasso tool to move and resize objects, or a basic shape input tool. The photo insertion is alright, I just wish it didn't depend on the select tool, and you could insert the whole image instead, since that tool is flawed (not by fault of this app’s devs). That said, I absolutely love this app and honestly would keep using it even if nothing changed. It's fantastic!

Good Concept, Need More Features

Overall, the concept is there. You can make an infinitely zoomable canvas. The part that’s a little disappointing is what doesn’t come with this amazing capability. With so much space to put things wherever you want, it seems an important part would be to be able to move things around as your canvas expands. There is still no lasso tool to grab the stuff you want to move and shift it around. A pretty annoying bug is that the images that I copy into my canvas keep disappearing. The outline remains, but the image is gone, so all I can see is a grey shape on the canvas. I’d love to see something in there for textboxes also. Get this thing to a fully functional app.

Great app but…

I use it for taking notes, i thought it would be a great way to make maps out of my information so that i can remember everything spatially. And the infinite canvas is great! BUT. I just can’t stand the lack of a lasso tool… it’s so necessary to move things around for me when taking notes because I’m used to being able to do this in GoodNotes. The only workaround for this that I can think of is screenshotting a section of notes i want to move, cropping it, saving it as a photo, and then adding it to my notes again so i can move it around. But that’s such a hassle! Also, the images upload at very low quality, and (if i didn't miss some function), there’s no way to use the highlight marker on imported pictures! As a drawing app, i’m sure it works great, but as a note taking app not so much. Especially after being used to apps like goodnotes. :( so sad and disappointed because i was so excited about the infinite canvas (that part works great), but hopefully the developers can improve on these other things!

This is a great start!

This app needs a few things to be complete imho. The ability to record an animated flight through would be on the top of the list. But it is already a great fun app…a bit pricy for what I use it for, endless art. But then ten bucks is reasonable considering the work that’s gone into it. I’m looking forward to the future evolution of Endless Paper. It has enormous potential.

Good concept, missing essential creation tools

Good endless canvas concept but…(MAJOR but) unless I am missing something, creation tools are pretty limited. No selection tool (which means no moving or cloning objects!!!!) and Eraser has no Object Erase option. Also, doesn’t support Apple Pencil feature for making straight lines/shapes (holding after drawing). Just these few things would make his app amazing for creators and perfectionists alike. I like how this app adds the layer feature. Nice touch. Also - interested to know if the data is cloud or device-based. I have downloaded on both my iPads that share this Apple ID and have yet to see them sync.

AMAZING app PLEASE READ

Hi I love this app so much! It’s so fun and entertaining and I would be on this app for hours at a time because it’s so hard to stop because it’s so fun! I love everything about this app but I have one suggestion. I think you should add more brushes and fix this tiny thing where when I use the marker brush It won’t let me go over other colors but it lets me go over white and that’s all. Other than that this app is AMAZING I would totally recommend this app.

I didn’t expect it to be this!

Honestly, I thought it was gonna be hard to write stuff like this except it was just easy as eating a piece of cake. All you need is an Apple Pencil but the only hard thing to have is a certain iPad but I think the 10 bucks is decent worth it but infinite paper is just another copy I think it’s just 50% off so some people decide infinite paper more than Endless Paper but it’s still great

Would love more brushes to choose from, like pencils and pressure sensitivity

I would adore this app if it had pressure sensitivity and pencils :( I am not a note taker. I bought this to draw with, and it reminded me of MyPaint from the old days, but sadly it lacks the brushes I hope these are added soon EDIT: also, a folder in the Files app would be nice. Thanks! EDIT: also, png export that isn’t blurry. I thought PNG would be high quality but it’s not. Would be great if we can turn off background for transparent png export as well. Please consider :(

SUPREME APP!

This is by far the best app I have ever used, as well as my favorite. I deleted every other art/notes app on my devices, and now use endless paper for it all. All of my school notes are on here, you can add and draw on imported pictures, I am an artist and all of my digital sketches/drawings are on this app. Of course a few things are missing, such as more brushes/tools but I believe they are coming soon.

I love it but I’m having a problem that I don’t know how to fix

I’ve had this app for a couple of months and I absolutely love it, my only problem is that I can only zoom in so far before my art disappears. I’ve tried updating it multiple times but my problem still persists, other than that I absolutely love this app

Best White Board

The app is probably the best white board app out there. The app’s minimalist design and intuitive tools are what I like about this app. I use this as a note taking app. Although it doesn’t have the most robust toolset, they told me they were still adding more features. Having endless amount of room to write my ideas has boosted my productivity.

Hidden toolbar to adjust pen settings

I was frustrated with this app initially because I didn’t think you could adjust the pen width, but as it turns out, there is a hidden extended toolbar. this was not obvious when I first downloaded the app. This makes the app much more user-friendly and the developer reached out to let me know about this feature. Thank you so much. Lasso will make this a five star review.

This is a great app! It has a great future!

I am in love with this app! There are downsides but everything else covers for it mostly. The main downsides are that there are no fill tool (that I know of) and you can’t move drawings. (that I know of) This is just something I want, but I want to be able to select and delete, duplicate, etc! They are trying hard and I appreciate their work!

I Love this app

I use this for studying. I really want to make it four stars there are just two features that would make the cake for me! 1: A lasso tool that allows you to move text! 2: the ability to paste photos from your clipboard (apple makes it super easy to past screenshots that you take on your mac, I do that with every other not taking app I Have)

Very fresh

Love this app so far, worth the money for the infinite zoom aspect but desperately needs a line stabilization option and a bucket fill tool🙏 Also i would like to see something like a browser application that allows people that dont have an ipad to view the drawing and be able to zoom in all the way

Bugs

This app/game is genuinely amazing, but when I recently redownloaded it every time I try to draw something new, it crashes and I have to restart it, so I was just wondering if you could be able to fix that, this is the only bug I have found so far, I’ll update you guys if I get more bugs.

Near perfect

Zoom function is flawless and as advertised, interface is sleek and snappy, yet there are two major problems for an artistic platform: only 4 brushes, 3 of which are basically identical plus no opacity slider, and only two layers. Add at least a watercolor brush, some different backgrounds, opacity on brushes, and more than two layers and the app would be heaven.

Great infinite canvas app

The super smooth zoom-in capability is a game-changer, and EP implements it better than any other app. Glad to see that recent releases have significantly increased the apps stability and usability. Hopefully, the developers will keep up the momentum and future releases can propel Endless Paper from an “Oh, that’s amazing” to “an absolutely essential” part of my workflow ! Tom Moeller

Great app but few tools

I just got endless paper and really enjoy it, I know I’ll be using it a lot, I wish it had more tools to use though like shapes, lasso, text, etc however I looked into it and they are adding a lasso tool soon which will be great and I can only assume they’ll be adding more great features with time

awsum - but wait…

ITS TOO GOOD OMGGG!!! But, I think you should add a feature where you can press this button and it zooms in automatically by itself without having to zoom in with your fingers and then you sometimes make a mark and then you have to redo it but overall an awesome app!

Not there yet, but...

Excellent customer service! Developers say that ability to type text and import PDFs, etc. are on the way. I'll be patient. Meanwhile, I'll just use it for moodboards and collages. I do love the "endless zoom" feature, making it worth the price.

The new canvases feature and bookmark links make this app so amazing and useful. Thanks for listening to your user base and making the improvements. Absolutely Brilliant app and fun to use. Limitless creativity. Makes me want to buy a new iPad to use Endless paper in style. Haha

Wow !

This is the ONLY app I’ve been looking for since the App Store opened its doors. Major thanks to the developers for reading my mind. Can’t wait for my beta invite, aside that I am thrilled to use this and ONLY this app. I’m using on iPad pro12.9 with Apple Pencil v2. Yes there are things that could be added but if the internet ceased today, and these features were the only available I would still die a happy man! You guys and gals nailed it ! I absolutely look forward like a kid at Christmas for any all updates and added features you have coming ! Thank you so much for this app !

Favorite note app by far with 1 caveat

The best note app you can have. It doesnt crash like the other endless canvas apps and its quite intuitive. however there is no icloud backup…lost months of notes that way

BEST APP EVER!!!!!

This is by far the best app that I have ever used. You can create so much with it. I use this everyday it is definitely worth the money. I don’t get why it only has 3.8 stars. A suggestion for something to add is a fill and lasso tool. I would rate it 10 stars if I could.

I love this app!

It’sSUPER easy to figure out how to use, (I figured it out In an hour by myself) and is really fun. The infinite zoom allows you to create some really awesome drawings and the color palette is very efficient. Overall, I think the app is worth the money.

In the new version, the infinite zoom has become a limited zoom

After the background designs were added to the software, a very bad bug appeared that was not fixed in today's update. For example, you draw a monochromatic blue sky and zoom into it ten times.... Suddenly you face a white background and the blue sky disappears. If your background is black, you will see black instead of blue.

Concept isn’t Fleshed out Enough

The concept is great and all, but not worth $10 at the moment. It is difficult to find different color palates and near impossible to add in images. It only allows two stylus brands so you can’t even use your fingers for drawing. Yes it’s endless but tools are limited and even so it’s still quite confusing.

Its good but

It's a good game but they JUST updated it. I've worked hard in my drawings and they look super good! BUT SENSE THEY UPDATED IT, everything that was originally black turns into white, if it's dark brown it turns into LIGHT BROWN. FIX THIS PLEASE! I kinda want a refund

I love this app

What a fun concept. It makes notetaking fun in a whole new way. I hope they keep improving it (I have no complaints but I’m sure there’s other stuff they can add).

App makes me mad

The drawing features are so slim, I have to use a different app to draw and then import. You can’t even erase parts of the imported images making the zoom in transition’s absolutely garbage. There aren’t even layers in the app. Once I try to do anything with the image, the app crashes me out and doesn’t even save what I did. Not even gonna talk about the UI for drawing.

You are ONLY able to draw with an APPLE PENCIL use your HANDS to MOVE AROUND THE PAPER! Tap on a color to make a color wheel, and swipe right on the side bar to choose sizes for your painting tool. This is a great app!

Good starting but…

So I was so excited for this app and I was trying to draw. It didn’t let me, so I deleted it right away. That’s why I gave it a 3 star. It has to be the internet connection or the game Ps: if your seeing this, I LOVE YOU

This app is great, checks so many boxes, but to not have a lasso tool, and no ability to select and move/resize content is a significant hindrance. Please add this feature!

Crashing

I opened it after a long time, it says there was an update. I draw, it makes a dot on the page and then freezes. No tools or buttons on the app will work until I force close it. Reopen it and it keeps doing the same thing.

It’s a wonderful app but…

It’s a wonderful app but you could add 3 things a tutorial on the app instead of just searching it up and a copy and paste button for the drawing not for photos but for the drawing and you would need to add a selector tool for that too so please add those things but the rest of the app is good too.

amazing app!

i got this app and it was really good. great for my insane doodles and stuff. it’s great that you recently made it so i could make multiple canvases. just a few suggestions: 1. make it more clear that this app requires an apple pencil. 2. make an option so you can collaborate with other people on your canvases.

Stupid

I spend $10 because I thought I didn’t need an Apple Pencil but guess what my iPad is the 5th gen anything after that works with the Apple Pencil but not this so why do they even allow me to get it for $10 I should be able to use anything to draw

Just awful.

This is an embarrassingly bare bones app for the cost. You can’t even edit your brushes on iPad version. You have 3 styles and that’s it, no size adjustments, no stabilization, nothing. Just awful. And to make it even worse it’s a non refundable purchase that you can’t demo first.

How do you share?

I made a zoomable file by importing some illustrations. When I try to send them to friends, all that comes out are Lorenz non-zoomable images. I don’t see the value of this if it can’t be shared.
