Face ID option not working with the app and each time we have to remember the credentials to login. Also, it is not clear on how much be the charges for selling the RSU equity available in the account as already tax is deducted while making the RSUs available to account.
The app seemed to work without issue for me on an iPhone X. You can’t copy and paste your password into the app, but logging in using the ‘password’ feature of iOS wasn’t a problem. Setting up Face ID also worked. Access to my accounts, transactions etc seemed to work fine and was better than trying to use the website which simply cannot be done on a small screen.
App is working great and Ui is simple but functional. Couple of things immediately based on usage: - I can definitely see why other reviews are so bad. If someone directly logs into mobile app without knowledge of userid/password reset, its big hassle. So a help guide for SSO customers on mobile login screen as how/where to find it would be great - Why mobile app doesn’t support “transfer” type in transaction? - More meaningful and customizable graphs on home screen would be great - Mobile app allows setting “default” type in Financial details but web app doesn’t. Why such discrepancy? Overall good app but still basic and can improve.
Downloaded the app. All the data I need is available through this app to make decision on the go. Signing in was a breeze. If. You can’t remember your Password and have to go out and back in, you have other issues. (Previous review) nothing to complain 5 stars
Was great but it isn’t possible to log in with the new version of the app. Doesn’t accept log in details and when you attempt to reset your password it is impossible to set your date of birth to the correct date; it keeps changing it and assigning a random date when you submit it. Would welcome seeing how the Version 3 has improved but current glitches prevent being able to use it.
Is what the designers of this app are. Trying to log on using face recognition sends you on an infinite loop. Even old fashioned manual entry of credentials is now impossible. And as has been said by others, it’s not possible to copy/paste pw in the corresponding field. Even though the makers believe that the app supports this feature and are “surprised” it doesn’t work. And no, this is not version 1.0, this is after yet another release that provides “minor bug fixes and improvements”.
If I could give this app a negative rating, I would. I never actually write reviews for apps but the login experience on this one drove me to it. You aren’t able to paste your password into the password line and if you are switching between apps to look up your password in order to type it in the app, it erases everything you previously typed. You essentially have to memorize your password or write it down. Fundamental design flaw.
All the options are there except the ones needed in tracking the portfolio over time, listing the status of options and their expiry in a convenient way - everything is done to hide what is going on from the user. There are plenty of apps there which give similar functionality except they are not part of compushare excessive fee charging scheme.
So badly design, I just wonder anyone really test it
I have probably the worst experience with this app among all apps. First, fingerprint login only works for a short period of time after you login with password and enable it. After who knows sometime, it no longer works. Definitely not last to the second day! And then there is a task to add my private email. Just cannot find any where to add it! It shows “more detail” and click it brings you to a page. The page has a “here” link supposedly to take you to where to add it, instead, it brings you back to he “task”! What a dreadful nightmare! If not my company is using it, I will never choose this service. I could give it a negative 5 if I was allowed to. Forgive me!
The app complains that you haven't given enough information about your bank when you've given all the information you know and that the banks customer service has given you in response to your queries, and on top of that it doesn't tell you what information you need to add that you haven't already added. Ugh. 😑
If I didn’t have to have this for a work retirement account I would burn my phone and start all over. 0 stars if possible. It will make you sign in multiple times. There will be nothing of value to modify your account. Best to just log in on a laptop and hope these clowns at equate aren’t selling your information on the black market instead of investing money on user friendly interfaces and solid investment advice.
The endless loops of faceid and password were finally fixed, but now you can’t even log in at all. Now you get a message of ‘Unable to log you in. Please check your network connection and try again.’ Now it’s an endless loop of this error message. Can’t believe my former company trusts this company to administer its employees equity plans. Unbelievable
I tried to use this app, and it’s very slow. The login process is from the past century (Wait… wait a little more… keep waiting it’s coming…. ). No way. In the world of instant information and real time processing , it’s incredible that renowned companies still have terrible apps.
Impressively, they have managed to make an app that is even worse than their website. Buttons that do nothing - such as the forgot password button. Based on the poor quality of their website and the lackluster customer service, it’s a mystery how these guys stay in business.
I don’t write reviews, but this recent change is horrible. It took a good app, that showed the future payouts and timing, and stripped it of all forward looking data. It’s just a general summary now, with only a 90 day outlook. The point of LTIs is the fact that they are LONG TERM, not just 90 days in the future, but years. Bad call with the redesign.
The previous version was much better with the ability to see the graph. Now you can only see what’s currently in your portfolio. Can’t see what it was on a certain date etc. bring back the graph.
Every time I access the app, it asks to update my email address before I can view information. I update and receive an email confirming it was updated. Have many emails confirming. Have contacted customer service who attempted to fix but the problem persists to today.
This app is horrible. You can’t save your info for easy use. It can’t leverage your phone’s biometric security features. Every time I try to log in the app is unavailable and I’m told to use the mobile web version, which *must* be viewed in landscape mode? Who does that?
Only using the account as its required for work. The app is completely unusable, freezes up intermittently, displays a network error message along with a string of empty pop up confirmation box with zero text, and constantly throws me into infinite loops that I can only break by completing quitting the app. I’ve seen more competent coding by high schoolers.
This is an updated review. I am pleased to report that the developers improved the security by allowing users to paste in long random passwords. Thank you!
Constant Log in errors (both manual and with Face ID) when desktop website has no login problems. Looks like this is a long-standing issue based on previous reviews.
Can’t login! Waited 2 months for my password and can’t login!
I keep getting the message: “Unable to log you in. Please check your network connection and try again.” I did everything they suggested to fix the issue: 1. Checked my connection: it’s fine 2. Restarted my phone: did this and checked for updates 3. Checked my server: it’s fine My point being that this app doesn’t work. That’s why it has a horrible rating. If your team can help me login, I will gladly amend my review. Thank you
As my company moved their stock plans to manage through Equateplus, created an account by following the instructions and after that unable to login to the mobile app using the credentials. Though my mobile is connected to a 1 gigabit internet the app says no internet connection.
Prior versions of the app would load, but only after 4 or 5 repeated logins. It was very very amateurish software. Since iOS 15, it won’t even start now. Really wish that financial software would be written better than this.
The app was recently updated and now my portfolio shows zero balance and there is no way to access any of my account details such as individual share allocations, etc. please fix this ASAP.
This has to be one of the single WORST apps I have ever used. “Almost there” spinning wheel of Death every time and never a Home Screen. Terrible user experience and no explanation provided when other brokerage apps have zero startup issues
The app seems to have bugs that prevent successful login. Unfortunately this is not a new issue but is going on for 2 years now. I hope that someone on the app development/maintenance team feels responsible to solve this.
I elected to have a temporary password emailed to me since I log onto EquatePlus via my work’s Single Sign On. I input two different passwords and the app will not accept the password no matter which way I type it.
Face ID does not work, many features are only available on desktop version, not supported by the app, zero intuitive, besides, wrong parameters entered preventing adding bank accounts

I understand the app wants to keep a safe link, but endless txt of passcodes will NEVER let you login to your account. For real it’s 2020now can you invest some money to hire some good software engineers? I can refer some if you need!
There’s no other place for me to see trends on my stock options. The developers are way out of touch from the user needs - with this new version, I now have NO way to see the trends.

I logged in with a user I’d and password on their website and got a prompt to install this app. This app does not work for the same credentials. Either the app is a scam app or has a usability blocker.
I have tried to login into the app about 5 times now and the app still will not open. I have made sure I am putting in the proper credentials and I have even tried closing the app and reopening it, nothing works.
