It worked when it first came out, but it’s been getting worse and worse. It just sits there with the little dial turning and won’t load your bill, won’t load forecasts, won’t load anything. I have to get on my laptop to pay my bill or view anything. Update and fix your app, Evergy! I haven’t been able to pay my bill using this app for at least six months.
Update 10/8-They have changed the app again, so you can’t see your daily and month to date usage for your current billing period. Back to one star. UPDATE 9/6–The app has been fixed. I can see daily usage for the current billing period, and I can see the dollar amount of unbilled usage so there are no surprises at the end of the billing period. Hopefully they don’t change it again. As it is now, I think it’s a great app. —— The app was great until the first week of August, and then they changed it and now it’s usefulness is limited. Previously, I could use the “month view” to see my daily usage for the current billing period, and at the bottom of the bar graph, there was an estimate of what my bill was going to be based on projected usage. There were no surprises when I got my bill. All of that is gone now. No one you reach when you contact Evergy even knows there were changes to the app and website, so like the app, their usefulness is limited. They do a good job of tracking outages but no so good at provide information you need to be able to plan your usage.
I downloaded the app and was able to sign in using my existing login for the website. Easy to use and see everything from billing info to outages. Was able to review and change notification settings as I preferred. Thanks for creating a better way to interact with your customers.
I just downloaded app, and it was so easy to navigate around the app. This is very useful, showing energy usage, bill amount, and payments. It’s much more direct than the website. I prefer to use apps to make payments so I don’t have to maneuver through so much more to do something so simple.
I was able to track daily usage for two month. That was my favorite feature. This last month it let’s me see those last two months daily usage not I can see anything current. No update, deleted and redownload, signed in and out and still no fix. All I can do now is easily pay my bill.
The October app update changed to show useless information, while getting rid of daily usage and up-to-date month billing usage for the current billing period. Unfortunately the website reflects the same data. It seems that evergy is steering people away from being informed. I wish they would go back to the older app and get rid of this worthless version. I dont see the benefit to have this app on your phone now.
So far the app does just what I need it to. With one exception…I need to print my bills off to paper. This app does not give me that option. I have to go to their website to have the ability to print the bill. It would make it much more convenient for me if there was a print option “in the app”. And I would prefer that. However, if I can’t use the app to print my bill, why do I really need it? I can see what I need to by logging onto the website (since I have to anyway to print the bill).
FIX NEEDED FOR: on the month-view /Bill graph, the Y axis dollar amounts do not tie to the bar height & dollar amount for each days $ usage. ADD: would like to add at top of that page, that billing period’s $ to-date. Or add it on the main page below the ‘estimated month bill’
Most of the views don’t work, trending of each day and month is no longer available, slow to load, see what I owe (of course), estimate of current month is ludicrous if I can’t see how each day is trending. Evergy has taken the you out of you-tility by no longer providing tools to help consumers reduce usage.
Can’t update the profile online or on the app. Too many errors. Tried to remove a disconnected number online and in this app with no luck. Children must be doing their website and app.
I downloaded the app, entered my login information and it just keeps loading and loading but never actually allows me to login or get past the login page. I tried so many dang times. SO frustrating!
If you want to report a power outage or see how much you paid last month this app works great. If you want to see your current usage or how much more energy you’ve been using, this app is useless.
Used to be able to view projected bill and usage to date on website. Now has to download app to view this. I’m so sick of being forced into app for everything.
The log in screen takes 10-15 minutes to load. Once you are finally allowed in to this horrible app, if you go to change your bank information, that screen also takes 10-15 minutes to register a page load. Call Evergy. They are rude and awful to deal with, but you’ll save 10-15 minutes of your time. Who has up to a half an hour to deal with an app? Creating an app that works isn’t rocket science, Evergy. I mean if Amazon can do it…
