This new app is a great improvement from the prior app. It took only minutes to download and set up my account. The new features are greatly appreciated and make banking remotely much easier. I love the ability to open accounts through the app and use Zele to transfer money. The app is much easier and more efficient to use compared to the old platform. I did have a moment of confusion but was able to call customer support and the person that helped me had a very clear understanding of the app and was able to assist with all my questions. I also really like how the app display translates so nicely from the computer to phone.
Easy to use, great notifications, and check deposits
I love this app. I’m not sure of prior versions because I just started banking with them last year. I love having a passcode access ability. My favorite feature is the mobile check depositing. That is quick and easy and saves a trip to a branch. I also like setting up notifications. I have one set up for if any transaction is above a certain amount or if account balance is below certain amount.
Since our bank closed in Plumville, there is no convenient places for us to get quick cash, make a deposit or anything else, without paying 3.00 for an ATM machine in a convenience store. It may not have been feasible to keep the bank open, but you have taken a great service away from the loyal customers in this area that could use the ATM machine. I had previously used the bank in Rural Valley that closed, but they kept their ATM open so that people were not completely left with no options but to drive a distance to go to the bank. I always made deposits at the ATM, now I make them by my phone, and it takes like 4 days for me to get my money! You have definitely not improved anything for those of us in my area! Not happy at all!!!
I like having the status of all my transactions and accounts. The feature that allows me to add notes to a transaction is very helpful. I check the app at least once a day and add notes. At a glance I know what a particular debit was for. I am able to set-up recurring payments on my own. Bill Pay is easier than ever.
First off a third of the screen is taken up by a simple hi there, you can change the "there" to your name but otherwise you cannot get rid of it. In the meantime if you have more than three accounts you have to scroll through to see them. Then they merge all your accounts on the home page without giving you an exact total for pending and non-pending. As a small business owner I find this app less efficient and useful than the way it was. Understanding why they spent money on app development that makes it more pretty but less user-friendly is beyond me.
I was excited to be a pilot tester of the app. This version is so much faster and much more responsive than the old Online Banking! The fact that the website and app reflect each other is much easier to understand. The entire system is more robust and I’m more likely to encourage others to signup for online and mobile banking!
I’m really thankful that you got this app. One for the reason of me having such trouble with staff not doing there jobs and I pay the late fee. Also you can’t even go into one of your banks and speak with a human. Unless you have appointment. I myself was just getting ready to move to another bank but this app came available
I’m giving a review since June30 I have not been able to continuously do mobile deposits it tells me I don’t have an account that I need to open one, or I have to try six times before authentication is reached. This is very important for me to do business. I hate to say it but I might have to move this business account because this is so frustrating. And of course the bank can’t help you they give you a number to call and nobody does anything about it. I’ve done everything they say I’ve deleted it deleted cookies restarted my phone, you name it
This is a great online banking app. I love that the dashboard is customizable because now I can choose what I am seeing as soon as I login. The app is easy to use and navigate. I also like that you can easily message someone from inside the app if there are questions or problems. This is definitely an awesome upgrade for my mobile banking experience!
Although the initial access and loading of my account information took longer than I expected, it was worth the wait. The app is intuitive, personalized and even gives access to Zelle, right in the app. Ironically, after the initial access issues, the app is lightning fast.
I was fortunate enough to be part of a group that was able to give feedback about the design of this new app experience. I think it’s great that the bank not just asked for feedback but then incorporated it into the app they launched. Love the interface, dashboard and customization options. Also, lightning fast.
Should have print option after paying bills in bill pay instead of having to go back into manage account to print out receipt for paying bills, sometimes it’s hard to find what you just paid to print out.
When I heard branches would close at the year end, I was upset. But after checking with the White Oak branch, it was confirmed that branch will remain opened and operating as usual, I was relieved. The tellers in that branch are very courteous and helpful. With this branch being left open, my life will be less stressful. A big “THANK YOU” to whomever decided not to close this branch!
I downloaded the new version of this app and I couldn’t be happier. It is much more high tech, up to date and faster than the previous version. The way it is laid out too makes it so much easier to navigate through and find stuff. Would highly recommend to a friend!
At first when we got the app it was very hot and miss, but bugs have been worked out and is definitely heading into a more user friendly direction - I don’t want it to get to a point where I can’t walk in and see the tellers - so I try my hardest to balance it and keep the tellers at the front of this - I don’t want them to ever go away
Depositing checks is the easiest that I have ever done, they tell you what to do step by step, and to view everything is so easy, I total love it, I’m 63 yrs old and I have trouble doing anything electronic, but First Commonwealth made everything easy, I’m so glad they did this, especially with this Virus, I don’t want to go no where.
It’s hard to warn people of terrible banks when you don’t have Twitter but in one year I’ve seen it all with this bank. I’ve seen holds last over a week. I’ve seen ATM’s eat peoples checks. I’ve seen my jobs paychecks to me by this bank go through more issues than a troubled youth. I even was told a story from a co worker about the bank taking THOUSANDS of dollars out of their account and the CEO had to personally call them to apologize. Today my card was frozen because a transfer I’ve done for a year raised a flag for some reason. You deserve better.
The last app was very boring white screen with just your accounts. Lame. This app is top notch, it seriously is a huge upgrade I like it so much better. It’s easy to navigate and it makes all your online banking very easy as well. Seriously a big fan and super thankful that they did this!
I am LOVING the new app!!! I appreciate that it was so easy to get the new app and that most everything I had set up transferred over and I didn’t have to go through resetting everything up! The best is ZELLE! I was able to transfer money INSTANTLY and have them receive right then and there straight to their account. This is the big game changer!
The new app is fast. So fast! The biometrics are great and the navigation is smooth. I especially like the ability to customize the app the way I bank. Transfers and paying bills are super easy and I can chat with someone right from the app!
Very unhappy with the updated changes to webpage. View on my phone is awful. Caint see account numbers, harder to pay bills, sadly can’t print account info that I need for taxes. Not happy with this version please put it back the was it was or change to something more user friendly
This app has made my mobile banking, goal setting, and budgeting so much easier! I highly recommend this app and this bank! Such friendly people on the phone and in the branches! Always have had a great experience!
I am a new customer to the bank but I have had the opportunity to watch this app evolved into its current status today it is very user-friendly and extremely detailed. Just another reason why we bank with first commonwealth
I love the new app. It’s well organized, very clean and gives all pertinent information without being cluttered. I can conduct all my banking transactions quickly right from my phone. The addition of Zelle is also a great upgrade!
This app never updates. Found out my checking was way overdrawn but anytime I logged in to check it said I wasn’t. Got letters in the mail weeks after I was in the negatives and had to pay hundreds in fees and when I talked to someone on the app they said call my local bank and they’d forgive it. I had to go in to talk to someone and decided to immediately close my account. Still had to pay every cent for the fees. PNC is looking real good right now.
I like this new app from the bank. It looks much sleeker and is still very easy to use for what I need. There’s so much more added to it with this upgrade, and it gives many more options to customize.
Very convenient to use and easy to have access and keep track of your accounts and payment and transfers, if you don’t bank with first commonwealth yet you should enroll today
3/5 times when I go too use the app it tells me too reset my password, multiple times a month, sometimes in a weeks time. It didn’t used too be like this, it’s accurate and mobile deposits are convenient but I wish I didn’t have too deal with this buggy behavior.
I’m really disappointed that you closed the Jefferson office. At some point we will transfer to a bank more convenient. Also when ordering a debit card, it should by no means take several weeks to get a new one. I know a bank that makes them while you wait. There is overnight mail as well.
I have been nothing but satisfied with the ease of use and convenience of this app. I immediately received a response when I had a question on a charge. Very much appreciated!
The new app gives access to so much more than the previous app! Account access has never been easier on the go! Statements are now available on the app, which is awesome! I love how easy it is to ask questions and receive support so easily as well!
What an improvement First Commonwealth has made to their online banking app! The interface is beautiful and intuitive. The messaging feature is so convenient. Very impressed with the upgrade!
This app is amazing. I can’t chat live in most of my other bank apps so that feature alone saves me so much time, and I can look back at what I was told if I forgot! I tried zelle and it worked like a charm. Thank you so much for this update!
This app has gone from decent to downright horrible. The past several months I’ve noticed it will take a very long time to update balances or transactions. It “spins” for an excessive amount of time. I’m considering switching banks because of this. I do 99% of my banking online and need an app that performs well. Update: Developer said to update to iOS 16.4, but I’m on iOS 17.5.1. So they’re telling me to downgrade my iOS? Clowns. I’m gonna find a new bank.
This is one of the more clear, concise, and easy to use mobile banking apps that I’ve used. Everything I need to access is readily available and easy to find.
My app continues to ask me to “update” and then open. Sometimes I also won’t allow certain functions, and says contact bank, but if I restart, I can still go through functions I need to do. It just seems a little touchy and not as user friendly as before. I am sure I will get used to it, but I cannot say it is better.
My phone is updated 17.5.1 by the way, so there is no reason for such an atrocious performance. Firstly, the account balance updates maybe once a week at random times. Secondly, during the downtimes where the app is not working I cannot retrieve vital information such as account statements and not even my account number. This needs to be fixed. You guys are leaving your clients in very precarious situations.
Just installed the app about a month ago and have been pretty impressed. It’s fairly easy to use and the safety features are nice. Just made first mobile deposit and transfer. So far, so good!!
Very user friendly app! As depressing as my finances are I am so happy to have a clear picture of them and am to easily able to manage payments, transfers, and talk to a representative all through my online banking app. 👍🏻
This app is terrible in comparison to the old one. The app is terrible in comparison to ANY banking app actually. I no longer have a running total of what’s in my account, it’s barely a rough estimate throughout the day. Delivery service holds don’t show in the account?? You can’t sort deposits and withdrawls from your transactions either.. why did you mess up a good thing? It’s certainly not an improvement.
The app is so easy to use! I love being able to deposit a check so easily, the customization, and so easy to search transactions and payments. Highly recommend. Such a life saver!
The app is wonderful— when it’s not locking your account and making you reset it..3? Times a week. Sometimes every other day. I have to hit forgot my password, then type in my information, or then confirm in my email, to reset the password— CONSTANTLY. very frustrating. However, the check deposits are wonderful.
About half of attempted transfers give an error message that it couldn’t be confirmed and “try again in a few minutes if you don’t see it”. Last time I did this and it transferred twice, almost over drafting my account. It also gives other types of errors frequently This app has too many bugs.
They will hold your tax refund for over a week and only give you access in seperate transactions. It’s unreal. I have had this bank for over 13 years and never had this happen until now! I had 2 accounts at one time and recently wanted to use just 1 so I took all the money out the one account and took to this one and of course lady is lazy and puts it on hold
