I think the app is perfect for what it’s used for. I especially feel that here in the past year or so, the app has really been tweaked and improved for user experience! I think the push on mobile banking is great, as I don’t live near a FSNB anymore, but still am able to use it easily! The only thing I would change is the “look” of the app. It has an outdated look to me, but that has nothing to do with the ability!
The app is great, it gives a variety of different options to choose from. It is very user friendly as well. I like this app a lot better than other institution apps I have had in the past. The layout is very straight forward with the options and your main ones that you would use are standing out on the app. Some make it a treasure hunt to try and find simple tasks. I love the mobile deposit and the history of any account goes back as far as you need. I’ve experienced some that wouldn’t show you but a few weeks back. I love the app!!
Online banking can be a bit intimidating for some, but this app makes it enjoyable for even those who aren’t very tech savvy. For someone who can’t get to the bank during business hours the ease of online electronic deposits is outstanding. There is other information that is included from moving money to additional accounts, statements, reporting lost or stolen cards are just additional bonuses. If you have a question you can do that from the app as welL. I HIGHLY recommend this app to any FSNB customer! My bank for life!
We’ve been loyal customers since 1998, wow 24 years!!! We’ve seen a ton of differences in out bank and yes even being currently using a Visa to a MasterCard. I will say we always use everything as credit and some places only use MasterCard as a debit. We never use that so yep at times I had to keep reminding myself what the pin was….other than that it hasn’t been bad at all. We have seen people come and go and a lot has stayed at our bank thru the years. We wouldn’t have it any other way! We love where we bank!!!
This app is really convenient, and very secure. It requires, Face ID or a password, and 2FA every time you log in. It’s great. And I can check my balance and transactions really easily. My only complaint is that it didn’t let me sync my checking and savings. My family has had no trouble with this, but it’s giving me trouble. Otherwise a great app!
I have had First Southern National Bank as my bank for over 15 years. I started using the bank App about 5 years ago. I love the App it is very easy and convenient to use. It gives you easy access no matter where you are. Iv never had a problem with my app and if I needed help with something on the app the staff at first southern are always available. First Southern Bank and their First Southern app ROCK!!!
Since I moved and changed jobs 12 years ago I have done all of my banking via this app. I use it to track payments, make deposits, transfer funds, and pay bills. If by chance I get called away while working on the app, it automatically logs me out. If not for this app, I would have changed banks after moving. It is a tool I rely on almost daily.
I’ve been a member for just a bit over a year, I am so not computer savvy I have not met a nicer group of people ever especially working with a bank, If I was ever to move out of state I would not stop banking with this particular bank here in Monticello the app is very easy for me to use which I greatly appreciate . The last update to this app has made it fully unusable; even after updating to the latest IOS. Had to uninstall & reinstall the app as directed by local bank & it still will not load - when launching the app you continue to receive the loading when screen, the login window never loads. Whatever was changed with the last update needs rolled back as no issues were had previously. As a customer who relies fully on the ability to use online banking I’m very disappointed in the performance of this application.
I enjoy the ease and convenience of using the first southern banking app. So far, it has been very secure and dependable when it comes to keeping an eye on my finances. The only improvement I can suggest would be to make the tabs easier to navigate. Sometimes it takes me a while to find what I’m looking for on the app.
I am pleased with all that 1st southern offers as a customer for many years and with the app as well as in person both gives me the freedom and I am worry free I have been to many banks over the years when I started with first southern I have not wanted to go anywhere else I am a customer for life
I saw previous reviews saying it was unusable. I find it very easy to use and I have multiple accounts with this bank. So, I’m guessing the issues they had have been fixed or it was an issue with that user. I like that I can do pretty much all my banking from a straightforward set of screens.
Pleasant presentation and easy user interface makes this app a pleasure for managing my money. Can’t dote enough on the mobile deposit capability this app offers! Makes my life easier. Not to mention saving the time and gas it takes to drive to town to make a deposit!
Had this app for years and use it 2 to four times a week. I like to see what bills come in and what my balance are. I can keep up with everything but u do have to change your password about every 60 days but that’s for security reasons and I don’t mind that.
I am not the most computer savvy person, but not the worst, either. About the time I think I have figured out where things are, (ex: adding or changing a payor) the app is upgraded, altering the procedure. Fortunately, bank staff have been able to help me out. Still very confusing.
I love the FSNB app! It provides so much convenience because I can do almost all of my banking without even leaving my home. I can easily deposit checks, check my balance, and transfer money from one account to another with ease.
The bank app is so easy to navigate to checking to see deposits and etc. And with all my checking and savings on one screen you can always see the balance of each account. My family and I use the transfers with P2P often. Love the app!
App works great. Access to more functions would be nice, but overall a great experience. Camera functions for the deposit works well. The processing time of the deposits takes a bit longer than most but saving the drive time makes it a wash.
I like that it’s simple for the most part. And it quickly moves pages to get where I want to go. I have only had problems when I try to change my pin and it gets stuck and doesn’t change. Overall I do like the app
I’m a little obsessive when it comes to monitoring my bank balance. This app is perfect. I just open it up, log in (with my Face ID or PIN) and I’m able to see every account I have open. I can also basically do everything I need to from this app. Love it!
I’ve only had good experiences with this app. It works reliably and allows me to check my accounts on-the-go and even mobile deposit checks. In case of fraud, locking the card through the app is quick and easy.
Love the convenience and accessibility of the app. I have the ability to control many account features conveniently from my phone without having to go anywhere. Also love the added security feature at login.
The First Southern app makes banking convenient! You can check your balance quickly but do so much more like making changes to your debit card (changing PIN, putting in travel plans, turning it off if lost etc).

I love having my bank with me 24/7. I have multiple accounts and can keep up with payments and deposits easily. I can also manage and transfer money to my kids accounts.

I think this app is wonderful. I can see my balance, pay bills, move money, make deposits (my favorite) and so much more. Helps with budgeting which is very important to me in my financing. Overall I think the app is awesome…
You can do almost everything on this app! Very easy to change my PIN number, turn my cards on and off, check my balance, or even move money around. The Face ID log in is very convenient!

The First Southern app is easy to use. I like that I can deposit checks, transfer money and put a travel alert on my debit cards. It is also nice to be able to turn my debit card off if it is lost.
I’ve never had a single problem with the app. You can do everything from transferring money to changing your debit card PIN on the app. Highly recommend.
I love using the P2P feature to quickly and easily send funds to other people. I have also received money this way, and it’s instant. All that is needed is the persons phone number! So convenient!
