It’s Good ENOUGH
Good enough but could be MUCH better! Hate that deposits and debts are sometimes not taken and given in real time which can throw your total account balance way off sometimes it takes days for it to even out and get back on track which stinks if you don’t know what you’re spending. Need them to stop doing so much “maintenance” that is throwing off everything and delaying my accounts statuses. Hard to pay bills and keep track of money that way.

No I do not like the app. I’ve requested first united bank several times to fix the app, to make it more accommodating for visually impaired customers. My request has fell on deaf ears for almost a year and a half. I always get told “they are working to improve the app, but at this time we don’t have anything for the app for people with visually impaired or blind to be able to make the app more access the app mobile and all I get is I’m sorry. “ This has been and on going thing. since I’ve had this account with First United Bank for over year and half now. As a valued customer, I’m very disappointed and let down by my bank capability of providing a more friendlier app to it’s customers with disabilities. I could choice any bank to do business with but I choice First United Bank for the reason of professionalism, great customer service . But as a customers with a disability and mentioned this to the bank, and living in the 21st-century with technology being in the way it is today my requested again has fall on deaf ears . Very sad and shameful to the First United Family. .

I’d only have one suggestion for improvement!
I’ve been so happy with this 1st United and the people that work with me there. The app is great and it’s fairly easy to navigate. I think I would only have one request in order for my review to read: “F-ing AMAZING! THANK Y’ALL SO MUCH!” And that would be the ability to lock and unlock my debit card. I had the option with my last bank (left for the lack of loyalty coupled with an incredibly low level of empathy they revealed when COVID-19 hit the economy with alarming alacrity and people needed patience and communication more than ever before). So, yeah, thanks First United if you could find a way to make it possible to lock and unlock debit cards and credit cards from the app, it’d be superior.

Not ready for prime time
There are so many things wrong with this app. It automatically defaults to the wrong account. It apparently cannot be fixed. After two attempts with “chat” to correct this-after one phone call to customer service in Durant, and one visit to my local branch, online bill pay still does not work correctly. I would use suggest that you use online bill pay with extreme caution. You have to babysit it and make sure that it actually pays. Perhaps if the employees in IT that designed this app and the bank executives at First United used online bill pay, this app might actually work. This is completely inconsistent with every other aspect of the management at First United, which is typically first class, the best. I had sincerely helpful assistance with a customer service representative, a branch manager and a local team member in my branch trying to fix this. However, it looks like it’s just not possible.

Glitchy Lately
Lately the app has decided that I need to confirm my identity every time I log in, requiring a passcode be texted to me each and every time I check my balance... On top of that, it won't let me deposit checks via the app anymore. I have to drive 15+ miles to the nearest bank because whenever I try to deposit on my phone it goes through letting me upload the two images and then just gives me a blank screen after the second photo. And none of that mentions that their entire online banking system forgets new transactions every night between 10pm and 2am. Which has caused me fees when I've transferred a new deposit and then it conveniently forgets that the deposit happened before the transfer.

Change it back!
This app has been reliable and good, but they recently changed it and it’s really frustrating now. 60% of the screen is now taken up with “Financial Tools” and some “discover how to achieve your financial goals” nonsense. I’m not logging into my app to see the same messages about stuff I don’t care about every time; I’m here to access my accounts. What’s even worse, that stuff loads later, so every time I click on one of my accounts to view it, at the last moment as I click, the screen changes, and it registers that I’ve clicked something else. Look, you want us to be paying customers…. But the people using your app already ARE paying customers! Leave us alone and just let us access our accounts! Change the app back, please!!

What a great bank
First if all I changed banks because y’all were seeing people a lot sooner than the bank I was at during the Covid mess. The bank I left was just ridiculous about it and the service at the drive through was horrible. Supper long wait line and didn’t really care we were sitting in out cars for 45 minutes. Second I love I can walk in there on a Saturday and be helped in a timely manner. I do most of my banking on line which also seems flawless. My Daughter who uses your bank would like to see getting a debt card on line instead of having to go in.

Great Job
I have had accounts at multiple banks. First United is way ahead of the pack when it comes to technology. They have the functionality of a big bank with a small bank’s flexibility and service. Their app makes it so easy to manage both my business and personal accounts. I would highly recommend the bank and the app to anyone. I have already introduced several new customers to First United based on the excellent service and friendly banking experience they provide. To a big bank I am nothing but a number. To First United, it feels like I am family!

NEVER ACCURATE
I have had nothing but problems with this app since September 2022. Charges are pending for a week, then all hit at once and the “available balance” is inaccurate of actual balance. Also the pending charges just disappear and then all of my past charges just turns negative and it reads as if I’m several hundred negative when I am actually in the positive, thankfully it will only do that for one day randomly every few months. However, the pending charges for a week and the available balance being wrong happens CONSTANTLY! It’s very frustrating to be charged a fee to use a bank and then not have any of the services be accurate and be financially penalized for the banks mistakes. Please try harder on the user friendliness of this app.

Handy but has some glitches!
I like the functionality features however, I have had issues with mobile depositing since I opened my account which no one seems to be able to answer or help with. I live over 15 miles from the nearest branch and most times when I try to use the mobile deposit feature it will only let me make one deposit even though it asks if I’d like to make another - it won’t allow me too saying I’ve exceeded my deposits for the day. I have no limits. And trust me, depositing 2 separate checks for $150 each is not overdoing it by any bank standards I know of!! This issue needs to be fixed. Also it won’t link up with Navy Federal - BIG Bummer.

Easy to set-up and log-in
This has been the most useful app I currently have. It’s so easy to get your accounts set up and linked together. I can find bank and ATM locations, confirm business deposits, update any forgotten transfers, move funds from one account to another - and the quick way the bank responds to calls or texts is great. I’ve never had to wait more than 60 seconds to be connected to a customer service rep! I’ve been with them for 11 years now and I will never switch!!

Minimal features
FYI you cannot get your account number through the app “for security reasons” but you’re expected to give your password when you’re chatting through the app. Yeah…doesn’t make sense to me either. But…you CAN download your statement and get it there. I figured that out on my own. 10 minutes in a rude chat and couldn’t even tell me that instead of wasting my time. They will call you and intentionally cause and escalate a situation though. I’ve never had a man call me and be aggressive like this, especially from a bank! Long lines and they say they’re short staffed. Takes forever to get your debit card verified for Apple wallet. App is extremely limited in features. Can’t wait for Totem to release so we can switch banks.

Best digital banking for my small business!
The First United app lets me do everything I need to run my bar. It auto-categorizes my transactions and enables me to see spending, trending and whether I am on track for the month. I can easily move money various ways, and easily deposit checks using my phone. The system also connects directly to my accounting/payroll software and automatically syncs my transactions without fail. Most importantly, it’s highly reliable and very easy to use. FIVE STARS, I say!!

Generally good, needs a few tweaks.
This app is generally good. I really appreciate the ability to make mobile check deposits and transfer funds between accounts. It works well for the things I need. However, the balances are not always accurate to the moment, and the order of my deposits and debits do bounce around a lot. In the end it all levels out with no harm done, but it would be nice to check the app and know what the balance is instead of having to remember that the deposit that showed up a minute ago and is now gone will reappear in the morning.

First United Bank is the BEST!
The First United Bank at 4008 Medical Parkway has been the BEST bank I’ve ever had. They always help me out when I have banking problems. They are very courteous and friendly. They know my name when I walk into their bank! Everyone there has been Super supportive with me and my problems. I can’t Thank them enough! I have had my account hacked, and debit card number stolen,they worked Quickly for me and changed account information for me on the spot. They are AWESOME!!!

App not fully functional
This app is only good for checking balance, deposit and transferring funds. The alert portion of the app is useless. It doesn’t even give a badge count (the little number that lets you know to open the app because something needs your attention). This is a simple fiction that I have informed them about for several years to no avail. Likewise, if the bank send a message or alert, you will never know unless you open the app because the badge count function is inoperable. If they could fix these issues, it would be a great app.

Decent app but room for improvement
App has lots of good features. My main gripe with it is the way pending transactions are displayed. You have to click each line just to see the part of the description that describes where the purchase was made. It doesn’t sound that bad but when you’re trying to write down multiple transactions in your check register it is time consuming.

Best in Customer Service
During Covid, First United Bank delivered in customer service like no other baking experience I’ve EVER had. Thank you to all the hard working and considerate staff who made unbelievable transitions and provided friendly, timely service. Can’t say thank you enough. And you just keep delivering! Recent Update
The recent update does not allow you to go back to the main screen after transferring funds or clicking other options in the drop down menu “more”. When you click “menu” it only gives you the option to “log off”. The only way I could see my accounts after I transferred funds was by closing out of the app completely and reopening it. I think there are a few glitches that need to be worked out. However, I like the option to link other accounts and add a memo to a transfer on a mobile device. Two stars because it lacks basic navigation.

The ladies and gentlemen provide first class service whether you choose the drive-thru or to be advised inside with their beautifully decorated offices. I personally prefer going inside the building to see the monthly theme and refreshments they offer. I am able to comfortable and confidently discuss my financial situation and be advised by Lisa Gomez. First United app is the most convenient tool for me to keep track of my account. It works during business hours
The app rarely shows an updated balance on weekends and after hours. I’m normally on top of it but in the last couple of weeks they hit me with overdraft fees bc my account showed money so I didn’t deposit any. I understand things may take a while to post but as an example, I paid my cc bill of $220 it’s posted as paid on my account. There’s been no pending or posted charge on my bank account fri-sun but it’ll be gone Monday morning. Having that happen with most transactions and you lose track.

Extremely User Friendly
I use the app daily to manage my banking. Unfortunately, I lost my card last week. Found out from a teller I could disable it in the app since I had lost it at or near my house. Once I found it, I was able to enable it on the app, also. Not only is the app wonderful, First United is the most friendly, financial success focused bank I’ve ever used.

Love My Online Banking
At my age it was hard to give in to “online banking “ but because of the people of First United I gained the confidence to try it & I am so glad I did. It’s simple to access and use. Never before has it been this easy to manage my money, giving me more time to spend with my friends and family, doing the things I enjoy, with confidence that my money is in good hands.

First United App
I gave this app a “3” due to two important functions missing. First issue is that you are not allowed to see your complete account number. I literally have to look at my checks. Same issue with their web site. Terrible idea. Second, I would like to be able to see the mobile deposited check image within the account window. I created the image, so I know it is available. Other banking applications have both of these features.

It works fine enough
I don’t personally find the organization of menu options very intuitive. As well, compared to other banks I’ve recently used, I’ve noticed the pending items will disappear for a day or so before finally posting. Which is not helpful if you don’t get around to reconciling your account every day. I didn’t have that issue of transactions disappearing at say Bank of America. Ultimately though, it does the job fine enough.

I’m staying out of town for a long period of time caring for my aging mom and needed to link different accounts to make my out of town banking payment’s. Y’all helped me download and set up my “on line banking “ app. Y’all guided me in a very easily understandable way. Thank y’all so very much!! I’m proud to be a customer!!!

Still poor app after revisions
I’ve been a customer for a long time, i’m getting ready to switch bags. This application has been revised more times than I can count, and they have not fixed any of the bugs. I currently operate my personal banking with this bank, and two businesses out of this bank meaning I have multiple accounts and, I never know what in the world is going on with this application and I’m not always available to use a computer to view transactions. I’ve made multiple complaints at my branch with different people and still have not seen any correction in the behavior of the application.

Changes
In the last several months something has changed to where you have to wait until 8am for the system to actually show all the correct transactions. I find this extremely frustrating. Deposits shouldn't disappear until 8am each morning. Also, this site is constantly saying it’s having login issues. I have it set as a 4 digit password to get in and every other day it’s not giving me the opportunity to put that in and I have to enter my ID and password very other day. Just all an inconvenience.

First United Bank App Puts My Mind at Ease
I use this app a lot to transfer money from account to account, sometimes just before I check out at the grocery store with my debit card. I also like that it tells me my balance in real time, before and after transactions are posting. I also pay my loans each month via the app, which is super easy. And lastly, I really appreciate the low-balance alerts. Back in the very old days, I wished banks would call us before a check bounced, just to avoid the crippling fees and debt trap it triggered. Main App has lots of good features, I do like my real-time balance after a transaction, & it’s other simple to use features. Cons; display of pending transactions and not offering Zelle as an option. I look forward to them catching up with the latest technology soon & look forward future business with this bank and their services.

There’s always room for improvement for all apps. Also I think even when a question is asked on here, the reply should also follow up with the customer’s email instead of having them go right here every time. I also do not agree with how this bank does not work with Apple Pay whatsoever. This bank seriously needs to get with the times if they are already online.

I like the app except when the businesses you send online payments to are not electronically paid. I have had so many problems with this because it takes so long to be posted by the business. I considered making this bank my personal bank but hesitated because of the bill pay situation.

Functionality issue.
Imported data doesn’t include the “ statement description, “ this is important because the memo information we enter while making a transfer is not included within the online description only the statement description. Please add memo information to online description ( preferred , Because we Could than see memo info when viewing transaction from main screen currently we have to click and open the transaction to see it ) Or , add the statement description column to the imported data.

Great App
It is easy to use and navigate. The developer makes sure to announce scheduled maintenance so you are informed ahead of time. The app is reliable though occasionally it might be a little sluggish loading. Of course the quality connection and age of device can be factors. Highly recommended!

Love the Bank
The app is easy to use and easy to navigate. I have been Banking with them a long time and they have a lot of great services. The app has all the main things I need, but I have accounts at two other banks and I do wish this one had a few more advanced options. I would give it 4.5 half stars if I could because overall it’s a good App and handles my needs!!

Vital to my life
I lost my phone for a week, and this was the app that I miss the most. Even though I keep a regular ledger, it’s so good to be able to open up this app on the phone and have it to compare to my check ledger and always stay in touch. I’m so glad I switched to First United.

Consistent and Easy
I should start by saying the app works great, usually. I know there are some things that can be done with the camera to make taking the pictures faster. I think any other things I’ve not liked (when compared to the banking app I have had longer from another bank) have been tweaked and improved upon or corrected.

Custom categories for expenses
1. The categories aren’t easy to choose from your presets. 2. It makes you think you can make custom categories but there is only delete, not a save option. The categories need to be customizable… like any accountant : Debits and credits Where’s the business expense category?

User Friendly
The app is easy to use. I especially like that you can see current balance, and balance with debits pending. Takes the guess work out of your bank balance, because I don’t keep a paper record. Transfers are easy and immediate.

It worked well for a couple of months and then suddenly it needed me to accept the terms and sign in again and when I would, it would start me over to agreeing and signing in.. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times before I tried contacting them on the issue and was told it was fine on their end and there wasn’t anything they could do for me that I should log into it from another device.. Because I just have devices sitting around..

My Bank
The change was Seamless ! The service I get from Cindy Zumwalt, Kim Wallace ant other team members is AWESOME ! Unfortunately I have moved to The Henryetta area so banking isn’t like it was. I went by the Sapulpa location last week and met the Bank Manager and one of the team members but a 45 minute drive is a bit far. Wish you had a Branch in Okmulgee or Henryetta! Joe Lester

Stop updating.
As a fellow accountant who banks here I think I can say for myself and clients that the constant updates with the thousands of glitches are annoying. I used to love this bank, but now are switching to banks because of this. Not seeing pending transactions, or the constant change of my available balance makes me uncomfortable. Today you have $2000, ten minutes later.. now you have $50! An hour later now you have $970 dollars! Nope. If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Or instead of just sending out updates, do a beta test.
