If you are really serious about getting out of a significant amount of credit debt, this is like a dream come true. I was about to sign off on a personal loan to consolidate my ~$15,000 in credit debt that I couldn’t afford to pay more than the minimums on each month, when I found this program. I initially was so sure I was being scammed because how is it possible to pay less than I actually owe?! But after being in this program for about 4 months, one of my smaller credit cards is paid off and I am seeing that reflected both on my credit report and my account with that credit card. So it’s actually getting paid off. I say this is for someone serious about getting out of their credit card cycle, because you have to stop using those credit cards entirely- which I didn’t think was possible for me but now that I’m not paying hundreds of dollars in minimums I’ve been able to use that money on my debit card. This program will also *tank* your credit score initially, the rep I spoke to assured me that it would go back up as the debt was cleared. Since paying off the first card, my score has been slowly rising and it feels motivating to pay the others off quicker. Getting out of credit debt felt completely impossible before I found this program, but now I feel really confident that I am making progress and this will soon be behind me and I get to have a fresh start.
I know I’m pretty new here but the weight lifted off of my shoulders working with five lakes is irreplaceable. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. From the beginning every person I talked to was professional but caring at the same time. This was not an easy decision and I was so nervous. They put me at ease right away. Please don’t expect your debts to be resolved overnight, like me, I’m sure it took a while to get them. They were upfront about how long it would take and that I would take a hit to my credit score. I was already bringing my credit score down on my own but without making any progress. I am now making progress and am so happy I made this decision. I was over 50k in debt and barely able to make the minimum payments without spending my entire paycheck but working with this company I was able to have peace of mind and I am now able to start putting money in my savings account I definitely recommend working with them they are very friendly and efficient my stress levels have dropped significantly I’m forever thankful to five lakes
Sure, it’s a great program if you’re really struggling to make minimum payments. However, I wish there was more transparency of how long the program will take to even contact your lenders. It can be 2 years before they even try to settle and you have delinquency after delinquency. Don’t forget you can get a court summons from the lender- I did and Five Lakes was far from responsive when I needed assistance. They offered me a discount on an attorney. Your credit will PLUMMET - not just take a small hit like it is made to seem. Good luck getting a vehicle or loan in a major emergency while you’re enrolled in this program. I urge you to avoid the program if you can make it work without them.
Been very happy so far with Five Lakes. The app makes everything so easy to understand and to use. Each person that I have talked to on the phone has been very detailed in dealing with our account settlements. I would have to say that I am very pleased with Five Lakes this far and am very happy they are working with us for our debt solutions.
Have been in the program for about 2 1/2 months, i have only bad one communication with this company…….. I am still hoping they will reach to me someday. Since joined my credit score has tanked to very low levels, and still no communication on what their plan is with my money i am sending them each month……. Very disappointed right now, but i have made my bed……. Just hope they are all they said they were when the initial talk and sign up occurred. I am with them, but more communication is needed terribly
UPDATE: It appears to be working now. Also, I am very happy with Five Lakes. It takes a few months, but it does work! It does not recognise my face nor my login. I set a new password. App tells me it’s incorrect. "Unexpected error… try logging in again." I can only log in on through a browser.

Anyone interested in consolidating your credit cards and working with a honest group of people. I’m sooooo excited, about my progress, I’m ready to get my credit score back up and to make better decisions.
I was hesitant at first, thought this is to good to be true but it’s working out just like the ad described it would. I feel a huge weight off my shoulders. I’m not complete with the program yet but I’ve already settled 2 of my 7 outstanding accounts. I advise anyone reading this to at least get a consultation.

I am so glad that I found Five Lakes law group, I wish I done this sooner. I just want to be out of debt and not worry about leaving this for my kids to have to handle when we are gone! We are senior citizens and struggling to make it month to month, but so important to me to not have all these bills!

This app allows you to keep track of the progress of this process. Nothing is hidden everything right in front of your face to see. I like how it’s easy to navigate and user friendly. I totally recommend using when suggested to use.
We’ve only made one deposit and Five Lakes has already negotiated an agreement for one of our creditors. They keep us updated on everything that’s happening with our account. Friendly and professional service.

My experience with them has been a nightmare ! I have been to court 4 times to help resolve an account that wasn’t taken care of in a timely manner. That’s 4 days off of work with no pay ! My payments are always on time. I just got another summons to appear in court in June ! Why aren’t all my accounts taken care of ? I joined with them over a year ago !!! Not a happy camper !! If I have to go to court another 4 days over this acct I am going to be livid !!!
