I joined Fizz because I’ve followed Kyle Prue on TikTok for longer than he’s been promoting Fizz. I saw his commercials and then saw my credit score and said “hey, maybe that will help me”. I’ve had a couple instances where I’ve had to message for assistance, and that process is so easy and personal as well, actually texting with a real person who does everything they can to help and make sure that what they say is accurate. As recent as today, I messaged because I have a balance and my paycheck hasn’t come in as expected and I was stressed that my balance would negatively affect my credit and close my Fizz account. They were able to extend my deadline to accommodate me and they were so friendly and understanding about it. My credit score has improved since using Fizz, and I would give actual stats but I’ve also done other work so I can’t say it was all because of Fizz, but I’ve gained a significant amount of points. As someone who is in debt because of being a dumb kid and also because of debt that I couldn’t really avoid (medical bills sent to collections), it’s very helpful that I can only spend what I have, and that my own money is helping my credit.
So I’ve been using Fizz for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best tools out there for students who want to take control of their finances. The app makes it so easy to track spending at a glance, create budgets, and even check your credit score. It’s designed specifically for students, so the features are tailored to the kinds of financial challenges we face, so that’s a huge bonus. I have been using Fizz for several months now and have overall enjoyed my experince but have a few qualms, especially with the app. Firstly, it's a line of credit but is labeled as a debit card, despite it not exactly functioning like a debit card. I also find the way it auto-categorizes transactions to be flawed, as I have some subscriptions that have not been flagged as such, and therefore do not receive the 3x points I could be receiving, and there is no way to go in and manually change them or easily request it to be changed. You also need to accumulate 1000 points before being able to redeem them, which I find unnecessarily restrictive. When it comes to getting support, the only option is by chat (no phone option, which is annoying) and I've had to wait hours to days sometimes to hear anything back, so it is pretty evident that their customer support team is lacking in numbers. While I don't regret getting this card, I do think there's a number of improvements that could be made for the customer experience and I hope to see some as the company develops further.
Bros I’m not even a student yet but chose to get this card due to me being 21 with no credit established yet and no co-signer to help me get approved for anything else. They taught me how to properly use the card and how to use credit; unlike most cc companies where they just give you a card without any knowledge on how to use it. Im learning that there’s a strategy to using a credit card and I feel like this company actually cares about me to provide free lessons on credit usage. Within 2 months of using this card and paying off on time, I finally have a credit score established!! I also get crazy amount of points that I can spend on many things including transportation. If you are a first time credit card user, or maybe even a “seasoned” credit card user who just needs a card to teach them about how to use a credit card, get this card!!!! It’s a nice training card.
I thought this would help my credit…. I changed my bank and updated my info in the fizz app one day after the payment submitted. (It hadn’t cleared yet apparently so my account was frozen) the one customer service person was extremely rude, told me my behavior would get me banned and that I wasn’t using the app correctly so that’s why I saw no results. I simply changed my bank and got a response like that. I’ve worked in business management for years and never have I blamed someone for taking a cash advance and said it was their fault they didn’t like the product. I did nothing but what the app said till I deleted. This is the WORST customer service I have ever witnessed. I asked for help then was blamed, then I asked to close my account and was told it was my fault that I didn’t like the app. Well Sam, I can’t use the app if my account is frozen can I? I had a non frozen account that I used to pay for small bills that were auto drafted out immediately. Then suddenly I changed banks and I’m a horrible person who has bad behavior and can’t use an app correctly. Absolute waste of my time. You’re better off getting a secured credit card or something
I’ve really enjoyed my experience with Fizz so far. I use the card for my daily spending and it has helped me spend less and save more while building my credit on autopilot. I also like that I get to choose and change my weekly category for 3x cash back. On every Friday, Fizz has “fizz Fridays” with flash offers at stores — last week I got a free iced latte from Starbucks. The app allows me to easily check my credit score and lets me know when it changes. The fizz app also has courses similar to Duolingo. The courses explaining job benefits and how to file my taxes step by step have simplified topics that I didn’t understand before. While the card is not metal, I do like the rather aesthetic card and how it can be used with Apple Pay. My favorite app feature is the budgeting which allows me to set personalized spending limits and alerts to keep me on budget.
Get Fizz, easiest way to obtain credit for students!!
As a college student, it can so be so hard to get a good credit card that has cash back offers, low interest fees, etc. This is not the case with Fizz. I just discovered this card a few months ago and it’s been a game changer. I was always scared of getting a credit card because of all the fees and interest, but this card is basically like a debit card. They don’t charge you anything but you still get to build your credit. My credit score is already up like 50 points and it’ll probably go up even more. I also love their cash back options. I go to stanford so I get 15% cash back at all the popular spots here. They even did a 90% cashback at a coffee shop one time. If you’re a student and want to build up your credit this card is like a no brainer—you get all the upsides of a credit card but none of the downsides. I just graduated college with a doctorate and have a ton of student loans. I already had pretty good credit but it wasn’t getting any better regardless what I was doing. This really helped boost my credit, gave me amazing perks (such as points which may be seen as cash back or rewards), and allowed me to use credit without worrying about interest accruing or needing to make the monthly payments! I don’t like using credit cards but this makes it feel like I’m using my debt card while boosting my credit! Also the lessons on investing are amazing because I had very little knowledge on investing. I recommend this to everyone I know, including people who are knowledgeable about finances! Fizz is a great student debit card. You get 3x cash back on a categorized purchase that you pick (ex. Entertainment, Restaurants, Groceries, etc.) The Fizz card can help you grow your credit score and you don’t have to worry about a credit card. Another great thing is that Fizz gives you a $500 credit limit (don’t spend to much because you don’t want to get a spending problem lol.) One last thing that made me love Fizz over other debit card competitors is that the money is taken right out of your bank account. I downloaded fizz randomly my junior year of college and it has opened me to many opportunities. I saw a “credit card app for students” while downloading another Fizz app for keeping up with my peers socially. And let me tell you this was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve been building my credit with fizz for over a year now and because of that I now have something to back up my credit history, I was able to take out a loan without a co-signer, and my credit limit increased dramatically. Leaving me, a broke college student, with a little bit of money in pocket at all times. Without fizz, I wouldn’t be able to make it through this economy. I’m so happy I downloaded this app.

I have never used anything like this before, and having 1 credit card before this didn’t provide me with great confidence or knowledge on building credit as I was never educated on this. I can’t recommend it enough, if you are hesitant don’t be, there’s really no way you can screw yourself over or get screwed over with this. As someone who just began in college without ever having had a credit card, Fizz is an excellent way to start building my credit score without any of the hassle of starting a credit card—I can simply use my fizz card just like I’d use any other debit card with the added bonus that it builds credit. The app is very user friendly and well designed. I especially like the notifications after each purchase—they can be turned off, but I personally like them. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to start building credit who isn’t quite looking to open a credit card yet.
Got recommended by a finance YouTuber I watch and have nothing but good things to say. To start off because I have adhd remembering to pay off my credit cards on time can be tricky but with fizz it automatically sets a limit that’s manageable so that it can be taken out a few days later automatically from my bank. So I don’t have to worry about any payments and I get to build my credit. Secondly,I commute a bit so having a way to select extra fizz points to go towards gas one week or groceries the next is super convenient. So I would say definitely give it a try you won’t regret it.
After using Fizz for more than 2 months, I love it! Great customer service, the best I have seen so far Constantly sending you update of your payments to make sure there is no mistake! My credit score was easy to track as well, especially for someone who has never own a credit card or even has a slight bit of knowledge about credit score! I got my Fizz card a couple months ago and I absolutely love it. It is better than my student credit card in literally every way. It sets a credit limit based on how much money I have in my bank account so I can never spend more than I actually have. There’s no interest or fees and with the Daily Autopay feature I pay off my balance every single day. In addition, they have incredible cash back offers at my favorite spots around campus which my student card simply can’t compete with. Couldn’t recommend it more for a student trying to start building credit!

Downloaded to manage spending better and stay on top of my credit score. Have had bad experiences with credit cards in the past (revoking balance, credit score hits). Fizz takes care of this for you. The home page shows my spending limit based on my BofA checking account (no overdrawing my account, but still building credit) - I barely use my old card anymore. Just Fizz. Nike rewards are great (6% cash back) and some of the local rewards are neat, too! They also seem to be updating the appp frequently, it's loading fast now.
I freaking love this app so much I use my fizz card for everyday purchases the only downside to it is you can’t pay off your balance in certain amounts so if my balance is $50 I can’t pay just $10 and also I really wish I could pay with a debit card and my bank account cause I don’t like waiting 3-5 days for it to clear other then those two things fizz is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone also when u do sign up make sure you have at least $200 in your connected bank account that was one of my issues about 6 months ago

The Fizz app is easy to navigate, simple to understand, & a great way to help build credit without having to worry about credit card payments, interest rates, or potentially spending money you don’t have & sending yourself into debt. You can only spend money that you currently have in your bank account, so purchases you would normally be making on your debit card get reported to the credit bureaus which is awesome. I’ve only had Fizz for a few months & it is already helping my credit score.
My credit was not very good for a very long time. I didn’t want to take out any loans or credit cards. I started using this card for a few months and my credit improved significantly. It’s great because I don’t have to worry about interest rates or making payments, the app automatically makes a payment from your bank every day so you never hold a balance so it’s pretty much just like using you own debit card but building your credit.
I, for one I’ve never been great at making good payments on my regular credit cards, and I really appreciate the fact that this company has made a card that acts almost completely like a debit card, but still bill credit at all three credit bureaus. Generally speaking that app is really easy to understand and it is very clean and intuitive, especially for younger folks. I do sometimes wish they were as pushy with the Fizz Premium option, and would remove the banner that is ever present in the home tab. It’s very distracting. But overall, excellent work.
The premise of Fizz is a great one and by and large, it works as expected. However, it can be frustrating when dealing with an issue that requires customer support. Phone support is nearly non-existent and chat-based support is only available during certain times on weekdays. You are unable to un-freeze a card yourself (like suspicious transactions) and this can leave you without your card for days on end. When you do get in touch with someone, they’re great! But be aware that this card does not have the same service level you may expect from other cards. Seems like they are just scaling up too quickly.
I love Fizz! This card of course does not build your credit as fast as a traditional card, but it is honestly amazing. There’s no losing if you place it on auto pay. The customer service is great. It’s easy to understand and you get rewards like any credit card. I recommend anyone to get this card whether you’re new to your credit journey or you just want to continue to build your credit on every day purchases without risk. It also helps with overspending if you use their categories.
I only gave it 5 stars so people would see this, overall it is an “alright” card. It does what it says to some degree. Anyone who tells you, it “won’t” let you over draft or effect your credit other than raise it is lying to you. If you don’t have enough money they will freeze your card. If owed money isn’t paid, they will send to credit and it will lower your score. It’s nice but it’s not everything everyone is promoting or probably the reason you came here. No over draft, only raises credit. DYOR
Excellent way to start building credit or use overseas but that’s about it. It is unusual for a card with no annual fee to have no foreign transaction fees. I took advantage of this when I was studying abroad in college. I don’t think the fizz card is meant to be your forever credit card. It does not offer many of the rewards the the introductory Amex or Chase cards have. However, many people cannot handle the responsibilities of traditional credit cards and need a card like Fizz to protect themselves.

I found this app from a TikTok video and it has been the only ad that I’ve followed that hasn’t disappointed lol! Fizz gives me a limit to what I am spending which helps and forces me to be better at budgeting and it’s working well! The support team is also very quick to respond and so helpful when you come across an issue, which I’ve only had to reach out to support only once. Great app and I’ve recommended it to my friends as a gateway to budgeting!
I have used Fizz for close to a year now and I have learned more about my personal finances. This app is great and has great support that usually get back to you in reasonable time frame and it helps with building credit they’re point reward systems for purchases help with cashback too so that’s great, also been a member for like 6-7 months and had good experience so far on my credit report w/ paying back on time for just daily purchases or bills can use auto or self transfer pay from your bank thru plaid
I’ve currently been using Fizz for a few weeks now and as a student I feel like it is the best card to not only balance your finances, but also to learn I highly recommend downloading. I would definitely upgrade to premium that way you can learn and continue to learn about credit and how to increase while also still enjoying the perks of a normal credit card. This card is awesome! I love that it’s linked to my debit card and so I never use my actual debit card. But what I love the most is that I use it to fill the gaps that my credit cards don’t fill. I have credit card for gas and one for shopping online. The fizz card I use for my grocery store shopping or occasional eating out. I love this card and its perks and the customer service is awesome if you ever have an issue. Highly highly recommend!
I turned 18 a few months ago and immediately signed up for fizz. It is a low risk, low stress way of building your credit and establishing a credit history without the worry of creating large amounts of high interest debt for yourself. I really like how there are spending limits based on your checking account balance so that you don’t accidentally overspend. Plus, the cash back rewards are great.
This is my first ever credit card and I must say the experience has been nice. There’s very clear explanations of how the card works before you decide to join and I feel like it help me to budget my monthly expenses. There is also mini quizzes that you can take that help retain useful financial knowledge. The rewards points are easy to accumulate with just my regular spending habits. Fizz is a sure way to attain that debt free and good credit life.
I am currently a student and I feel like this is a great starter card. I currently only have a debit card and a fizz card and it’s extremely helpful for the fact that I don’t have to worry about keeping track of credit card fees as it automatically takes my transactions from my bank account. I have been a Fizz user for a bit over a month now and I had some issues with my bank account syncing, but after some customer support I haven’t had issues since besides my “daily” payments taking a couple days to process occasionally. The fact of the matter is, most of the time we spend money that we don’t have because we have credit cards. The most efficient way to have a card is to collect the rewards for using them, but not let it become a burden. Fizz, makes sure that it doesn’t become a burden. It’s a major help, and shows why paying on time everytime is critical.
I started with fizz because it was advertised as a credit card that acts like a debit card. I was scared to get a credit card because I didn’t want any debt or surprise fee or spending minimums but I needed to be able to grow my credit. Fizz is perfect for that! I just use it as a normal debit card but it helps me grow my credit. So if you have the same fear of credit, fizz is a good place to start.
