Fontkey - Fonts Keyboard Emoji

So I got this app a while ago thinking it looked pretty cool. When I downloaded it and gave permissions and such, I was disappointed to see that only one font was available, which happened to be the default one. You were required to pay for the rest... Until recently. The developer decided to include 9 free fonts to try out in a recent update. If you do buy it, you do get countless of fonts that are really fun to use. Sure, there are much better ones, but the ones given are well over generous, and definitely worth at least getting the app over. You should for sure give them a chance. I know I didn’t at first, but they made the app much better. Thank you to the developers.

I loved trying out the fonts in the app but when I went to go try it in another app it was asking me to pay for certain fonts. The keyboard looks a little different from the regular apple one. It glitches and takes you back to the “normal font” A LOT. There are so many better options than this app. Yes, many of those other apps want you to pay too, but you don’t have to. They give you many free fonts, the emoticons are usually free, and the keyboard doesn’t lag out. And It’s definitely not my phone lagging cause I’ve used many other font apps and they’ve never done that. I loved this app at first but it’s only been a few minutes and my love for this app has just gone downhill. Please use another app or use font generators on safari, google, etc. Yes it might be annoying to use/get fonts on google or safari but you get so many fonts, and for free, unlike these keyboard apps that make you pay for certain fonts. Anyways, I’m uninstalling this app. 🤷‍♀️

Why make it look so cool but I installed it and I can only use mono and normal like why i just wanted some cool faces and other text stuff but this app just makes me try to get a Subscription and pix for stuff even tho I am 11 and have no money I can give them

When you first open the app, yes it’s one of those that says it’s free, but the immediately want you to start a free trial for the “full version”- that says it’s only 3 days then will start charging you $5 a WEEK, that’s $20 a month, you can get more than one streaming service for less than that why would anyone in their right mind mind spend that much for what comes down to random aesthetics? But okay, maybe there’s at least something in the free version that makes it worth a download, right? Wrong. You get only one incredibly boring barely different font. Also the thing that got me to go full one star was the fact a pop up asked for a 5 star review when the app had just launched and I hadn’t done anything yet. Super scummy. No one bother with this app, it’s pointless and a scam/so not worth it if you pay for it

I saw an ad of this app and thought it would be so cool if I had different fonts on my keyboard so I downloaded it, and I went to settings, did the full access....blah blah blahhhh....so when I went to text my friend, it would I only let me use one font like what the heck?! I get that their company’s trying to earn money but only one font that’s unlocked is not cool. At least 10 fonts should be a available for good review and at least 4 stars, that’s common sense. Anyone can run this app and company with more than 10 fonts unlocked. You get a lot of money for JUST coding the app so I don’t get the problem. And you get money for many users. And if you unlock all the fonts, many MANY people will use your app and your company will take off big time. I don’t recommend this app until they make upgrades AND updates. HIGHLY don’t recommend.

Fontkey is a splendid app. It applies different fonts that you can type in! Although, you only have about two to chose from. Here’s what I want to change. I understand we all want to make money, but- to subtract $5 from my account for the whole fonts for a week is something I don’t want to waste my money on. Is there anyway we can just buy the fonts without having to deduct anymore money from my ( others ) accounts? Or just not have to buy them at all? Overall, it’s a nice app. I just want to have an application that will allow nice fonts, and provides them all without having to spend cash.

It’s a cool app but then once you get it instead it up and everything I asked for like a trial and I wasn’t expecting to be paying money I thought you would only be paying money for like the really good things I thought that I would have the keyboard and when you skip it and go onto the keyboard to type stuff to your friends and family it won’t let you so basically if you don’t wanna spend money then you just got it for no reason because it will only work if you get the free trial so I honestly don’t recommend it if you don’t want to spend money

The five star reviews are fake. The app only gives you one font and you have to pay money to unlock the rest. You have to allow full access and doing that puts you at risk for someone stealing your personal information. I tried it and once I figured out that this app is a scam, I immediately disabled access and deleted the app. They have robots writing the five star reviews so that they can drown out the one star reviews that are actually real. Here’s a piece of advice, whenever your downloading a app that is sketchy, immediately read the one star reviews first to see if it’s a scam. Basically, it shows in the ads how you can have so many different fonts but you have to you dont. it only gives you one which is 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚘𝚗𝚎. The rest you have to pay for which i think is ridiculous and also when u are setting it up on ur keyboard they try to make u enable something which gives them ur entire keyboard history which basically means they can see everything that u type including anything private. i mean sometimes it’s good to have a change with stuff so if ur cool with just having one font to u know change it up then go ahead but otherwise i wouldn’t get it.

I was exited to download it at first and since im a kid i cant pay for anything and asking is a long shot so when i found out u had to pay for almost the entire pack of fonts i was sort of disappointed not that i dont expect for people to make money out of it im just saying that maybe some packs should be free like the basics or more like 50/50 though the fonts are incredible just the fact that i feel obligated to buy it to be able to use it seems off (note this is just my opinion the fonts are great and if u could buy it i would recommend it).

I was so upset and said it was gonna be free I was so excited because I could use on my Instagram texting my girls anything but then it asked me to pay I don’t really wanna spend my money I’m a stupid texting app no duh i’m telling all my friends not to buy this app and I’m never going to recommend this to anyone I saw on Instagram ad popped up and it said everything was free but I got scammed and that’s why am giving you guys zero stars and I’ll just keep writing bad reviews because why not it’s either going to be in app purchases but it didn’t say you had to pay for it that’s it A only reason I gave it one star is because it said I had to give it a start

I’ve been searching for a free fonts app for months, and I thought I finally found one. I was very exited, but when I loaded the app it literally opened by saying I have to pay money to use it. Even though when you download it it does not have a price at all. I would love to have kept this app and use the fonts. But I can’t because I can’t spend $4.99 a week just for a different keyboard. Please consider making the app free….please..!

Ok so, I have an iPhone six, so it’s too old to download most font apps but I really wanted one so I downloaded this. There are many things wrong with it... 1. The keyboard itself doesn’t work very well, it’s hard to press the right keys and it’s very laggy. 2. You have to pay for all the fonts unless you watch an ad to have one day free. 3. There’s no way to switch between fonts, this is honestly the biggest problem with this app. It’d be fine if you would fix this. When you’re typing with the keyboard on an app, you can only use one font and there’s no way to switch between the ones you’ve unlocked. Overall I feel like the most minimal effort was put into this app. And trust me, I’m usually not the one to write the bad reviews. Please fix this! (I’m sorry if I sound like a jerk, I’m just saying what I think about it.)

1. Asks to enable full access meaning anything you type can be sent to the developer. In the warning, it says even credit card into and home addresses. Idk abt you but that’s sketchy af. 2. Fontkey has very little to offer with the amount of content it has AND the associated risk of transmitting keyboard info. Definitely not worth the $5 a week. 3. Because it is a weekly payment and not a onetime thing, this is clearly a moneygrab. Not even Microsoft Office is as greedy as this app and that application offers a lot more than this app. This app should be one-time payment and even then I would MAYBE pay $5 for the app as a whole, not $5 a week. 4. Boasts a 4.7 Star Rating despite most of the reviews being incredibly negative (hinting fake reviews to boost their app.) For these four reasons I DO NOT recommend even DOWNLOADING the app as it is a security risk.

I dont really like this app because you have to pay a subcriswn just to get more fonts. 𝚆𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚝 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚊𝚙𝚙 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚒𝚟e 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚏𝚏. And the app tells that steps and stuff which is really helpful but the only thing that is my biggest complaint is that you only get one font, if you count the normal then it’s two but that’s how we typing normally without this app and that really made me angry because I was expecting more. But if you’re going to buy this app at least read this review and it’s not really that worth it to pay.

I love this app so much it allows you to decorate and have fun with different kinds of fonts. I also love how they have so many fonts and silly faces. But what I don’t like is that in all the adds they don’t mention that you have to pay for most of the fonts and faces. And I couldn’t find anything when you go to download the app.

0/5 if i could, you need to pay for legit everything and any 3/5 or above were payed for, and my phone is acting funny and i think it now has a virus, do not download if you don’t like paying for literal crap, and just ban this company from the appstore all together. oh and everyone with a 1/5 star review you need to look at their reviews too, they go into more detail than i can, we the people want our voice herd: APPLE BAN THEM FROM THE APP STORE! I saw an add for this app and thought this would be really cool... but when I went to press full access my phone warned me that the app creators will be able to track everything I type! Including sensitive information like phone numbers, addresses, dates, where your at, and much more. And I wanted to check it out for fun’s sakes and there was only ONE font you could use. LIKE WHAT THE HECK!!! So I turned off everything for the app and deleted it. I would highly not recommend this app unless they fix these problems.

At first I thought this app was an amazing free app, the app I always wanted. But then once I tried to type something it said I had to “unlock it” then I tried using another font, I thought it would work with another one but it didn’t work. So then I tried the faces, AND IT DIDN’T WORK. I’d rather for the things to be free instead of having to pay for everything. This is a total waste of time, I recommend you to not download this until they fix this. Thank you.

I truly think these kinda word types are so much inspirational emotional and different ways to keep typing 💬 what keyboard words we can put on while using this app to make incredible comments with this app. . I’m Very Much Motivated To This Greatful App So Greatful 🙏🏼

so I just downloaded this app onto my phone and iPad. but I can only use like six dumb boring keys like come on that’s just unfair like we should have all of them second whenever you first download the app it ask you for so much if you want all of them you gotta do you like a free three day trial like come on that’s just stupid fix this this is just stupid fix this like actually fix it instead of doing nothing!

Great app, buuutttt, I think asking for a subscription price is ridiculous🧐 like, just charge me for the original app like a normal person. Other than the WEEKLY charge... I think the app appears like it is full of features and fonts and such. It looks cool, but tbh, I’m not sure if I’m gonna even get to use it🤷🏻‍♂️🥲

I gave this a one star because I am not able to use the fonts if I don’t do the full access and that means they would be able to see what I type even us my credit and number and find my street so not only do I not have any privacy what I text people I also have a chance of someone coming into my house and taking me away and that is very unsafe they need to do something to change that or I will not us this app if they fix it I will us that app but right now I say no way

I love this font app because you can make your friends and family members get so surprised like we’re did you get that that looks so cool and they get it and they never want to stop using it it’s just extreme a blast to get a fun texting

This is the best app all my friends are like how did you do that and I tell them about this app and they say that the fonts and so cool and all off my friends friends ask them were they got these fonts but my thoughts are the this app is cool and the fonts are cute

I downloaded this and did the 3 day trial. At first I liked the ability to use different fonts. However, I quickly removed the keyboard from my settings due to it being very laggy. I have the current model of iPhone as well so that shouldn’t be an issue. Overall this keyboard will make you hate your life. It’s slow and definitely messes up my typing. On top of that they want a ridiculous 4.99 per week for a very slow interface that’s low quality.

Absolutely absurd. Why not just charge a flat out rate for a specific font? This is it Netflix man. Do you expect me to add to my budget “font key plus“. many other apps offer the exact same thing but don’t charge a single dime. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of the fonts are really cool but you guys should really really reconsider how you monetizeThose keyboards. Just unfortunate because this is wasted potential. I understand the need to make money but that is out right just greed.

this app is ridiculous. you get one font for free. i already had a fonts app but i wanted to see if this one had any fonts that mine didn’t have and i already have almost over half the fonts on mine that’s already downloaded than this one. i use two now because one of them got rid of the symbols option and one gives me different fonts than the other. even tho you have to pay for some of the fonts on the ones i have, you don’t have to pay for all of them. i have at least more than 10 on each and one of them has symbols. btw i use fonts art and fonts. one of the apps is ombré magenta to purple with white letters and the other is plain white with black letters. fonts is the one with symbols.

Super cool app would love to use it. But disabled it once I realized you can only use one font without having to pay. Not to fond of the sample but every thing was rather easy!

I have looked for an app like this for a while now and i saw an ad for this app on snapchat. I was so excited but when i opened the app, it let me try all of the fonts! GREAT RIGHT? Well, No. not great. It gives you 1 YES ONE font unless you want to pay. Fun in the app but in iMessage it is pointless. This app is utterly pointless. Kids cant BUY fonts. Plus, not all the apps work. I honestly have no clue how this app has almost 5 STARS! I have seen almost all 1 or 2 star reviews. This app is a huge disappointment.

This is probably the stupidest app I’ve ever had. Any good reviews on this ARE LIES. You can’t use any of the fonts only the Normal and the Mono font! YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING ELSE!! THE REASON I GOT THE APP WAS SO I COULD USE DIFFERENT FONTS!! It’s a waste of time and money if you buy it. If you create an ad for your app it better not be misleading. My friend got it and told me it was bad, but did I listen CLEARLY NOT! It literally asks you to buy the subscription right as you open the app. Just save you time and don’t download this dumb app.

It has great fonts! It also has great different kinds of features like emojis. I think you should get this app and try it out yourself

So I’ve had Fontkey for a while now, and suddenly I have to watch a ad per keyboard for all of them to get it for a day? And still have the subscription? Is the app just failing that bad, or is this a money greed thing. I feel like there are just better ways to do this. If this is a money hungry thing atleast make the keyboards less buggy

The app is very cool but like the last guy said. You don’t get many options and for 5$ a week it’s just to much. That’s 20$ a month for some fonts that you can copy and paste. If it was like 5$ a month then I wouldn’t even hesitate on this app

The only font you can even use without having to pay money every month is mono. 𝚒𝚝 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚜 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 AND THATS THE ONLY ONE YOU CAN DO I bought it wanting to use the fun fonts in the ad but nope! Gotta pay money every month for literally any other font. Would not recommend. (And yes I know they have to make money somehow but every font except one!!!?? Plus I’d rather pay like $2 to buy the app.)

The really big thing about this is they show you all the fonts on the ads, but when you download it and willingly show them everything you typed by enabling your keyboard access they only give you one font?!? They really need to make some changes especially if you have to pay $5 a week or something like that to have every font. Like at least put in a couple... 🙄

When I saw the ad on tiktok I thought the app was cool and then when I opened the app and I saw the fonts so I open chrome and then it said unlock font so I pressed unlock font and then I realized it was just like all those apps with live wallpapers you have to pay just to use it like if you gonna show me something then show me what I have to do just to do the thing

The app is much better than others! More of them are unlocked! Actually I think more than 3 are unlocked. NO JOKE!! But so far yes I recommend! I just got the app and so watch out for when I give my full review!

It’s alright I use this mostly with friends and family but every time I wanna use a different font I have to pay for it so I can’t use that specific font and now I get annoyed for the rest of the day!!

Saw it was sketchy as soon as I got to download it, and i should’ve known having seen the advert on Snapchat. It’s a waste, you have to pay to use any of the fonts and all I wanted was a shortcut to old school emojis. I immediately thought it was weird that it needed full access which means the developer HAS ACCESS TO EVERYTHING YOU TYPE!! This should concern you and be enough of a warning. I urge you not to download or pay for this app.

I dont get why this app only gives you 1 new font and then you have to pay 5 a week to use all of them. THAT STUPID. You guys have to got to change that. Al least let us use the faces for free. DAAANNGG

When I downloaded this app I didn’t expect to pay money but I got a ok selection of different ways to type. Also i just turned off “Allow full access” and it works fine

I expected to be able to use some fonts, but no. Everything you have to buy, don’t install this app unless you plan on paying for it in full. Also do not give it full access because then this sketchy app can access all previously typed messages including credit card numbers, social, etc.

I saw the ad and I was like WOW!!! So I downloaded right away then I went to among us and it says ( unlock all access ) I press it and I needed to pay for it like I’m just a kid I’m 10 years old and that’s what I get like I’m so mad right now. So I got this thinking “wow I can finally use those really cool fonts that I can with google docs on my texts” but then it asks if u wanna unlock all fonts. The only font u can use is “mono” which is legit trash. I wanted to use gothic and the cute shrug thingy but no! All you get is nothing so don’t get this unless u wanna pay money! It’s a total scam and I would say it’s not even worth it ⚠️⚠️⚠️

You dont get any fonts, you have to pay for all of them, which was not stated in the ads. They cloudve made you pay for the app itself, which is still a waste of money. I tried different apps, and those were better, at least. I dont recommend this app at all. Please dont waste your time and money on this app if you care about your time and money.

All I wanted a free app where I could use cool fonts but unfortunately you get barely any and need to unlock most of them which is (Not free). Definitely fooled me though I thought since it was free you wouldn’t have to pay to use most of them.I would have rather payed for the app instead of having to unlock pretty much all of them,really disappointed with the app.
