Gather and organize information

As a teacher, I made quizzes, vocabulary assignments, all sorts of things from this app software. I assigned students to make reading logs, activity logs to track activities along the way towards an essay or a project. I also used it to track my hours of tutoring and student activities. Recently retired, I already have multiple simple forms: 1) to track my reading—topics, ratings, themes, simple plot lines. 2) to track my activities—going to the gym, taking a nap, or routine projects (to verify today was not a blur of drool). 3) to track my hair-brain ideas mostly for a later entertainment but just in case there’s one I should actually like to do, I’ll have it! I was devastated when I thought I wouldn’t be able to have my simple forms for free. The platform is absolutely fabulous for systematic research (we only had SurveyMonkey when I was doing my doctoral degree), and for tasks like that, I can understand asking a fee. So relieved my simple simple forms are free. Please, Google, keep simple use of this software free. It is really helpful.

Needs Fixes

Alot of my survey keep having to get redownloaded or just dissapear daily. never had this issue in the past. Its made a pretty big inconvience with the ability to work. Definitly wont be paying for this again probably going to look for another survey software sadly. but again no issues in the past just recently.

Offensive forms

Recieved offensive forms with some vugarities on them. I don't know where they came from. They showed up as some imported forms and they won't allow me to delete them.

Charged for free services

I had the app downloaded previously and attempted to work on a project that I normally would have been able to complete from my phone. I was told in order to make a specific edit to the layout, I’d have to upgrade and pay either a weekly, monthly or annual fee but there was a free 3 day trial available. Frustrated, I selected the trial associated with the weekly fee to eliminate the possibility that I might forget to cancel before being charged but instead I was immediately charged the fee and told by Apple that I could not refute the charge. I’m very disappointed. The only fee Ive ever had to pay for a Google related product is Workspace and that’s a business expense. Theres no reason I should have been charged for a product to which I should have already had full access.

Lifesaver

I’m a psych. student at my local university and had to do a research project for a class in which I had to develop a survey. If I had not known about this tool, I would have definitely had my work cut out for me. But Forms is super easy to use and makes it super simple to have your survey work the way you want it to. For example, once participants answer with a particular response to a given question, I choose to have them routed to another section or route them to the end based on the response. Long story short, Google Forms is ALL about the business and turns difficult projects into easy, professional looking masterpieces!

Best app to boost productivity

I've been using "Form for Google Forms" for a while now, and I must say it is the best productivity app out there. The user interface is intuitive and seamless, making it incredibly easy to create, manage, and analyze forms. The integration with Google Forms is flawless, saving me a lot of time and effort. Highly recommend this app for anyone looking to boost their productivity!

Deceptive

This is not the actual Google Forms app (which lets you do everything FOR FREE). This is a clone of it, which has a deceptively similar icon and pays for placement at the top of the search results. This app does work—you can make a Google form and link it to your Google Drive—but has chosen a bizzarre set of features to place behind a paywall. For example, you can only refresh the responses in your Google Form once every 30 minutes, unless you pay for Pro. Meanwhile, in your Google Drive itself and on the real Google Forms app, you can obviously refresh whenever you want because refreshing your browser to read new data is an expected free functionality everywhere on the internet (except in this app, apparently). I honestly see zero reason why anyone would pay for this app, which does the same things as the free Google Forms app. I mean, you could even make/access a Google Form in Safari and it’ll have all features free as well. However, the app does technically work fine (except for the stuff hidden behind a paywall), so I’ll give it 2/5 stars instead of 1/5.

This is NOT from Google-DELETE IT

Do NOT give this app your Google login credentials!! Look at the developer - it is not the same as all the other Google suite of products. As of the date of this review, there is no official app for Google Forms available in the App Store for my iPhone except these scammy versions posing as official looking applications. Whenever anything looks off, go back out and check the developer and change the reviews in the drop down to “most recent”. You will usually find out the real story about scammy and shady apps that way. If you already logged in to your Google account, log out and remove permissions and then delete it. These kind of scammers should not be allowed in the App Store. Shame

Please dont make the free one look like a Japanese version.

I downloaded this earlier today, and when I did, I only did because the other, non pro version, had a few Japanese characters. I soon figured out that this isn’t really a free version, when I checked it right now. I saw that there was a notification button, and I wanted notifications for that form I had. And there was the free trial thing. Google forms is a great service altogether, but it seems off that the free version looks like it might not be in english.

This app is really useful,for many reasons! I have my own club and I use this app to make surveys to choose activities people would like to do! And what I like about this is it’s in the go and easy to use! Also im not even “pro” in this app and im happy I don’t get a crap-ton if adds! Highly recommend 👍🏻😁.

Helpful, but Annoying

Overall, if you use Google forms a lot, this is nice to have. It makes it easier to reach google forms on your phone. However, it is not a Google app. You have to pay for 90% of the features. I would recommend this app, again if you use Google forms a lot. But at the end of the day, if Google ever comes out with their own app, I’m deleting this one in a heartbeat. It is not worth it for short term use.

Great but a few issues

This app was great as I could connect forms between my computer and phone but once I signed in with a different account, it would not let me sign in with any others, until I deleted and installed the app. Now all of my forms are gone on the old account. I run a small one man business and rely on Forms for orders, I now can no longer see or use the form used for orders, making it to where if anybody orders using that form I have no knowledge of it.

Great App Support

I was having an issue getting my push notifications. However, the app/customer support was phenomenal. They were quickly responsive and went through testing my form with me to get it functioning right away. Thank you! I always appreciate top notch customer service.

Game changer for educators

This app has saved me hours of work in Google Forms. I can prompt it using the CRAFT Framework, then spend my time critically editing and collecting actionable data instead of getting the format and wording right when it’s already too late. Game changer for educators.

Useful.

Very useful to access Google forms on your phone. A few downsides are constant ads and The fact you need to pay to upgrade to a better version to get certain features to work. If I want to get notifications when someone responds to my form I should be allowed to get notifications without having to pay money. If we take the money feature out of this app, 5 stars.

I mean… it’s pretty good…

So I’ve use this for like a day and it’s actually pretty well done. But here’s the issue… I needed to refresh my responses multiple times and WHAT DO YA KNOW?! YOU HAVE TO PAY TO REFRESH 2 TIMES OR WAIT 30 WHOLE MINUTES! ITS INSANITY! AND ALSO, I HAVE TO PAY TO TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS VIA BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT! I know you guys need money but the amount of times I’ve encountered this it made me want to delete the app. Please let me turn on notifications and refresh without money… pls.

I’m not sure

I just tried this app and the Multiple Choice questions and Checkboxes stand in opposite roles. You need to wait 20 minutes to refresh, and you need the pro subscription for a lot of stuff. But apart from that, this app is very amazing and I recommend! I cannot get the Google Forms app on mobile, and this is possibly the most accurate.

Good, but don’t like upgrade concept

I love this app, especially when using it on a computer. However, its really annoying when so many things are only available with the PRO version. I get that they need to make money, but it is still very frustrating when upgrades keep popping up.

Great to see responses!

I love Forms Pro to bracket to see the responses easily on my phone to my Google Forms. This app makes it so I don’t need to log into my work Google account on my phone each time I want to see the responses, I can just view everything on the app!

Not user friendly

Problem 1) when you check responses on the app, you can’t view who’s responded last. One has to scroll through entire list to see latest responses. To check individual responses also, one has to forward each response until they can see the last one. This is awful and such a waste of my time. Problem 2) can’t eliminate duplicates

Overall amazing!!

Incredible app, helps me all the time. The only thing is, is that a lot of the features you have to pay for. But those are extra features that you don’t really need.

Incredible App!

This app is incredible! I’m very impressed and have no issue watch an ad here or there for the functionality it provides! This completely eliminates the need for a desktop version of google forms. Kudos!!! Google owes you guys $$ for this!

Amazing for college students and free

So great for busy college students. It’s great, I’m at the dentist and am able to remotely edit my Google form and upload pictures to update it. I love love love it. So many free options that make it so I don’t have to pay for it.

Not saving

Making the forms was great and easy. But I went in to share my forms and If said I didn't have a title so I added a title but it wasn't saving. I thought I could just try and save it later. But I tried everything to save it on wifi off wifi turned my phone off and on but nothing. So then I wanted to make a new document but it wouldn't let me. I'm not really happy about it right now.

Forms

I just want to be able to access G-forms I make, get results, edit when necessary, and share the link. This app helps me accomplish those little things and that makes a big difference.

Why is this happening

So basically I had this app for a whopping 5 minutes because it was so frustrating. I was trying to make a poll for me and my friends and when I was making a 4th and 5th option I tried to click and write but it just kept zooming out and i could not get it to work so please fix this because I thought it would be good app and it turned out horrible. PLEASE FIX!!!!!!! -an annoyed person

Bogus subscription

Okay soooo, I have the app on my iPad + my phone — I subscribed on my iPad the monthly BUT I cannot have it on my phone even though I have shared purchases/subscriptions ? I would have to pay double ? That does NOT make sense especially if it is the same account . I love using the Forms so far BUT this ridiculousness of having to pay the subscriptions is not it 💯 so until someone fixes/corrects this, I will leave it as a 1 star

Easy to Edit

Been using Google forms over 10 years. I use this forms app on my iPhone 12 and it works fine, especially for editing the form.

Just let me type.

Every time a new ad shows up - which is, mind you, quite often - it lowers the keyboard and prevents me from typing. Wouldn’t be too much of a problem, but there’s a near constant problem where when I try to go back to typing, there’s an error where it doesn’t move the text to be above the on-screen keyboard so I have to spend five minutes trying to get it to let me see what I’m typing. Cue the next interrupting ad.

Don’t know why I paid. Should’ve just used the free parts of the app

I paid $99 for a subscription so I can have applicants upload photos on our application. Form only allows my form to accept 1 gb of uploads. I tried changing it and it brought me to a blank screen. I sent a question to them. I will edit the review if they can explain how to fix this. I googled how to fix it and none worked.

Notifications time is extremely low

I am using this app for my errand running business. I cannot depend on the notifications to come in a timely manner. When the customer sends their responses back to me, it’s about 20-30 minutes later. I’m losing money, because I don’t know that they have filled out the services request form. Ughhhh

I cannot write

As the subject says I cannot write I can’t allow people to write there own answers I can do the box questions but the ability to write there own answers are gone. Is there a way I can change that?

A great product

DO NOT GET THIS APP

Okay, this app is good but the PRO thing is such a waste. Why do we have to watch an ad or switch to pro just to refresh? In my opinion, that is such a waste of my time and value towards this app. I will delete this “app” as soon as my responses are in. This is not a good way to present an app and literally refreshing isn’t that big of a deal. I suggest getting rid of pro because there are much better apps.

Atrocious

The system it uses for saving is the most pathetic thing I have ever used… deleted my work several times, somehow doubled the amount of questions I had on a 40 question quiz (and it takes like 5 seconds to delete each one and it has to be done individually!!!), and on top of that it takes 50 years to “save” only to get deleted 5 seconds after the fact

Stuck trying to create a custom form

I download the app bought the weekly subscription. I tried to create a custom form, and it just kept circling and spinning and doing nothing. I’ve use this app in the past. I am on iOS 14.8. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. However really bummed that it wouldn’t work. It would however allow me to use templates. But that’s not why I need it.

What do I type in search bar?

I’ve tried everything I can think of to put in to search bar for simple things I want to do but it’s not coming up with anything. If it’s possible can someone please tell me what I need to search I I am starting a new job and need to figure it out quick but it’s hard when you can’t even navigate the app

Slow and everything cost money

I thought this app would be free at least for the basics but it keeps asking me for money. When I final get to close the ad, it takes forever to load my one form that I have saved on there. I will not be using for other forms

Love it

I love this app it really helps me because I sell Comfort Character letters. Only thing I don’t like is that you have to have pro in order to get notifications, but besides that this app is really helpful!

It glitches too much

Si I started using Forms pro, and for the first 2 months it was great but all of the sudden it stopped taking answers and I have already cleaned the storage and all but nothing happens ! I’ve asked for help, but still nothing happeneszzz

inability to change the theme and logo

I would give this a five star review except there not a way to change the logo or theme when using a phone or tablet resulting in a basic purple form instead of a professional looking product.

We need an undo buttonn or optionn

It is very easy to accidentally discard changes and documents that take up time to put in place especially if someone is new to the app. It would be so beneficial in the overall run and make a quick back up to restore prior informations. Thanks.

Hate that its selling out for features its google partners are giving out for free. I don’t mind seeing it make you pay for Chatgpt stuff and the premium features, but you shouldn’t have to pay just for a responses refresh or dark mode, or notifications when the website version lists all this for free without a free trial or demo
