I have to give praises where praises are due! And you, Fortera, have been on top of your game! Your fraud department has been amazing! They called it, when my card got hacked somehow! And also ask, if it’s me, when it’s being used out of the ordinary! Thank you for having our best interest at heart! 🙏🤩
I gave 4 stars because the banking has been awesome I only deducted 1 star because the new iPhone update dropped the Fortera widget so now I can’t quick balance check anymore through widgets. I have to sign into the app every time (I know first world problems)! It was easier to just check the widget than sign in every time. I hope this will be fixed soon.
If your always on the go and just don’t have time for frequent bank trips like me this app is a great tool to help with all of your money management needs. This app has it all! Mobile check deposit, transfers, and budgeting the only thing that the app can’t do is give you a free dum-dum lollipop.
Why cant you see joint accounts? If my name is on my account and my son's account I should be able to see his account in my view. How can I help him learn to manage his money and make good decisions if I cant see what he is spending and saving. In addition, I want to open another joint but this flaw has me wanting to take my business elsewhere. Very frustrating! If you need to see joint accounts than your better banking somewhere else
So I opened an account thinking I’d be staying in Hopkinsville for a while, but I moved shortly after. Saturday the bank reps said I could use the mobile check deposit on the app but I just got off the phone with them and they denied me, 1- every single bank I’ve ever been to let’s me use that feature 2- that’s pretty messed up that they never told me, and I had to stay on hold for just over 20 minutes just to hear they denied me, I’d say , just go to a good bank , they’re not a “good” bank , and there’s only 3 and who honestly wants to stay in Hopkinsville.
I got this bank so I could mobile deposit checks and use the app to track purchases. For two months the check deposit has not been working. I deleted the app and redownloaded it. I checked my settings, I called customer service and they said they could not do anything and suggested I try what I already tried. The screen turns blank when I go to take a picture of my check to be deposited. If this is not fixed I will switch banks.
I absolutely love this app but I can only give it a three star because lately it always seems to be down lately. You can’t make a deposit online, only on the app so when you don’t live near one, you’re kind of screwed. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app but to no avail, it still doesn’t work. Otherwise it’d totally be a 5 star.
I use the Fortera app all the time. I check my balances, pay my bills, deposit checks and leave messages as needed all within minutes. If you click on the other tab there are several options there as well, I find it very convenient.
I really like that every time I use my card I am notified I feel like you care about me and let me know what is going on with my account These changes are wonderful Thank you for taking car of me
When I sign in it ask me for my phone number and I type it in and it says when you get the text reply with the verification numbers they sent you on text, I did and it says go back to the app, I did and it says it cannot log me in
Have have told them multiple times when you look at your available balance before using it, it says one thing and then the next business day it changes and then you get charged multiple times overdraft fees you can’t rely on this app and holidays
I have been using this app for years. All of a sudden I cannot deposit my checks any longer. When he gets to the camera, it goes all blurry. Was told to turn my phone counterclockwise. If this keeps up, they need to get this bug fixed!
Every time I try to open the app it just sits there on the fortera logo and doesn’t do anything. I’ve restarted my phone deleted the app and reinstalled and it still does the same thing. at the worst times at that!! I never have these issues with navy fed!!!
I just don’t like how transactions I make don’t show up right away and how money I transfer to my account takes days to actually hit it. How can my ONE card be so much better but this is an actual bank.
Compared to other credit union apps this one needs a lot of work and updates! Like the ability to see all your accounts on one screen versus having to go to money management. And showing incoming pending deposits a day early.
I’m an employee of Fortera. If you ever have an issue and have the availability to go to a branch, just go to the branch. It’s always easier to see in real time a teller or member advisor fixing the issue. Most members doesn’t understand that Fortera uses a two factor authentication system when you are trying to access your account from a new device. That just means that if you don’t normally use your phone, laptop, etc to access your account, the log in system will ask for your username and password, THEN ask you to verify your identity by calling you. Just be patient. It works as long as you listen to the teller/member advisor and/or read the directions! 😊
