This App makes it easy to see my spending and be in control of it. The staff is very pleasant. I had been doing all my financial bookwork every month in a ledger book, hand writing and calculating. Very time consuming!!! When I joined I sat down with Annette. she help me set up the 20 accounts, that I had in my ledger book. my Social Security check gets deposited once a month and is automatically directed into each account. I do not have to do the math or the figuring. This saves me a very lot of time. She also introduced me to Mint. I am able to see my net worth
The App is Pretty easy to use, however there are some things that could be improved upon. For instance, its easy to send a message to the Credit Union, for example, when traveling to alert them not to flag transactions as fraudulent. However, the messages I get sent back claim there is another way on the App to do it, but I cannot see where that is. Also, there is a App for the Apple Watch which says to activate it in the ‘Settings’ in the Phone App. Again there is nothing I have found in the Settings that do this. Other than those things, the App is pretty good.
The Fox Communities CU app has easy applications and therefore easy to use. The only suggestion that I have is the bill pay site. An update on the page where the customer enters the amount to be paid should have more detail. Printing a copy requires a lot of black or blue ink depending on how I select how to print. If the header did not require so much color, it would be beneficial to me. Thank you!
The app works pretty well for the most part I have to say! I wish I could get a credit score update for free that I can view on the app like everyone else I know that goes through a credit union - also at my previous credit union I could too. It’s a HUGE incentive in my opinion and I miss having the option. I am using credit karma and I don’t think it’s very accurate. My fiancé uses credit karma and it shows lower than what her score really is.
Simply put, this is an easy app to use! Everything I need to access any of my accounts is at my fingertips anytime of the day or night. Customer service is quick to respond to messages and everything is clearly available in a timely manner!
Don’t try to login with Touch ID. Won’t work. Way too long to get to account information. Why do navigation icons do different actions? One gives you a drop down menu, another has pop up icons, and another takes you to a different screen. You can tell it was an outsourced app developer or Fiverr. Nothing intuitive. For “credit reasons,” they’ve blocked mobile check deposit. This makes absolutely zero sense. Check DEPOSIT. If you’re reading this, I probably closed my accounts just because of this app. Garbage from the trash. Go somewhere else. Anywhere.
Menus are too difficult to navigate. Functions important to me are buried too far in multiple submenus. For example, modifying a recurring payment was simple and straightforward back in the Harbor Credit Union days. Now I have to call in and have one of your staff walk my through it. Your menu system should be flatter, provide multiple paths to get to a function, and use common terms, not acronyms or banking jargon. Note: I have several times come close to changing financial institutions because of your app.
This app is a great reference for of my accounts at once, allows me to move my money as I need to and has safety features while still allowing access to the actual app without much hassle. All in all, this app is my favorite of all of my banking apps.
The one thing I do Not like is that when I pay off the balance of my credit card, it does not show that the credit card balance is zero, but it does show the deduction in my checking account. I always log off, and log back in, just to be sure. Then the balances are correct. Other than that, I like the app.
I use the app to transfer funds between accounts. I also can see my balances and what deposits or withdrawals are coming up. I can search by names or by number. I can type in check and see what’s cleared.
I’m not sure if the desktop computer app is better but we don’t have a desktop computer to compare it too. I made an online bill payment on the mobile app and I tried to look back in the history to find it a couple of weeks later and I wasn’t able to. Some of these issues might be user dependent but overall the app “just seems clunky” to me.
I feel like I am able to navigate and update my accounts pretty efficiently through this app. There is very little downtime for maintenance and their updates add value and efficiencies. I am a software developer myself and think these people are doing a great job! Thank you!
There are a few things (ie: member to member transactions) that are a bit difficult to understand at first. When you initially set it up it is easy enough, but you would think all transactions from then on would be under the member to member area. It’s just a bit confusing. Otherwise, it’s ok.
Stayed with Fox even after I moved out of the local area. Service is excellent and very efficient. Have worked with Black Creek office on may occasions with always good results. Personal are always friendly and well versed on different programs. Plan to stay where I am. Thanks, John
It’s bothersome to constantly have a yellow warning message every single time I use the app. I can’t find out how to change details for my auto transactions to my sub accounts. It inconsistently shows the image of the checks I’ve deposited electronically. It would be nice if there was a search feature when trying to locate a specific transaction that may have taken place months previous.
I appreciate having an app and this one is okay. It works, but… I feel that I often have to utilize my computer to accept terms and conditions so that I can use features in the app such as bill pay. And I often have to re-enroll in Face ID. I want my banking to be easy to access through app and this just doesn’t feel easy all of the time.
I’ve been using this app for over a year now and find it superior to every other banking app I’ve used in the past! Far more efficient than the non-banking apps I currently use, it was designed with common sense and end users in mind!!
I really like this app because it is simple and not complicated at all. When I need to deposit a check it’s very easy to do that with my phone or my iPad. I can also access with Face ID so that makes it easy to login when I am mobile.
The performance of the app is good. The functions allowed are good. Works well on computer and mobile devices. Especially like the security feature of using a Face ID for logging on mobile devices.
I have used this app on me last two iPhones. The 11 and the 12 and almost every time I open the app it glitches out and goes back to the home screen. Pretty annoying since this is how I usually need to deposit my paychecks through the mobile check deposit. I had to load the app onto my coworkers iPhone 14 just so I can deposit my checks during business hours. Still hasn’t been fixed. Pretty dissatisfied
This New Update Is somehow worse than any other App I have seen, the previous was good just the way it was and now I feel like I am working through the Web Browser version which feels like No Security at all and we don’t have any ACH/Pending statuses..
The app makes things relatively easy to use and is way better than you website and new system. Fix your website and all the other banking issues that came with that switch. It feels and functions like a first year we design student build your website, demand your money back!
Great service, great mobile check deposit turn around times, and great customer service. No unexpected fees, also makes them the best place that I’ve ever kept my money!!! Love this place, and I will recommend them to anyone!!
I used to have to come to the bank multiple times a month to deposit checks, now I can do it from the app. Gas prices are so high because of Joe Biden’s incompetence, this app saves me a lot of money and time running back-and-forth to the bank!!
This “banking” app is intuitive and doesn’t seem to have glitches. Can easily transfer money between accounts and deposit checks on my phone. Gets the job done.
I love this app. I have to manage several accounts and it made it so easy to keep them straight by grouping them and giving them nicknames. Every section has been user friendly and I rarely have any issues.
I like this app And I was trying to help my mom but it’s not letting us it’s ok next time we will met you guys for sure. About the application is the best it took about five minutes I was confused about the social security and than it popped up in my head so yea
I moved banks to make it easy to transfer money to the people that bank at fox community every month but I have not been able to yet. They say “it’s a glitch in the mobile banking app” and “they don’t know when it will be fixed i just have to keep trying” it’s been 6 months!! I’m about to move banks again
Love this app because it’s everything you need. All your accounts are on the home page then you can choose each account to get very detailed information! Easy to use!
FCCU has been my financial go to for decades. The App has made everything better! The recent addition of External Transfer is a huge benefit for me as I bank in other states as well. Now, I can connect my finances with a simple solution! Thanks FCCU
Works well. Sometimes flowing through accounts can be difficult, one page will have a “back to home” option at the top when other pages don’t. Would expect it to be a universal button/option.
I find it very difficult to get a deposit to accept. I have an account at another bank as well and I have no problem with electronic deposits with them. I use the same space and technique. Last time, after many tries, I gave up and drove over to the CU to deposit. Other than that it’s good.
Never had an issue with this app…opens fast & everything easily accessible…I have another credit union app & it takes minutes to open but Fox app is so quick
The app works, but still find the menu options clunky. Don’t care for the bill pay feature. Too easy to accidentally schedule a bill for the following year instead of month. Just find this app elementary compared to other options.
I love that I can go into my account and don’t have to wait on hold with customer support. Customer support is great but when I want a quick answer I have the app to go on. This app is so easy to navigate.
They’ve added “pending” debits on the credit card which is a big improvement - before you couldn’t see charges for about a week! Still inconsistent with pending but better. Could be a bit more streamlined and modern looking but improving.
I never like when my bank gets bought out or merges with another, but this time and bc of this app I'm so grateful and LOVE the features. Especially when you live in a rural area!!
Fox’s mobile app has made it so much easier to deposit checks & move money around! We live out in the country (not very near a branch) & the convenience can’t be beat!
I’m so glad I can see my balance on my account without asking at the CU window! This has been very handy for me! Really don’t need the paperwork for my end of the month statement!
The main account screen is way too touchy and if I scroll up or down to view my different accounts and don’t do it exactly how the app wants, it rearranges the order that I have accounts on my main page. I don’t like it as I have to keep re-organizing the accounts how I want them.
The app works great! I can deposit a check via the mobile app and save a trip to the Credit Union! I can check my balances at anytime anywhere I am! It’s a big time saver!
I love how I can see all my accounts, give them nicknames, and customize their order within the app. Transactions such as transfers and credit card/loan payments are a breeze. I love Fox CCU!
There are deposits and withdrawals that I was told do not even sync yet which I was told you are addressing. These were transfers that were handled and shown differently if I deposited them automatically or with phone call to set up transfers. Really not good business and I am an oldie who has been with Fox for 45 years. I thought that your old system was more user friendly.
