I loved this app and used it all the time. Over the past year on both my iPhone and my iPad this app has just gotten slower and slower and ridiculously slower. Now the video playback does not work on either device or my friend’s device. If they could fix these issues, this app would deserve a five star rating in my opinion.
It always has a pop up asking me to connect to Bluetooth. I don't want to connect to Bluetooth. Learn that and leave me the hell alone after the first or, at least, second time. And then there's no video content. There's an option for video, but when I go to retrieve it, it says, "no video content". And why don't they ever keep a total for rainfall to date for year and month and day? Why do I have to hope I can listen to the one forecast when they find it worthy of mentioning? Just give us that. Every day.
For some reason I lost Fox 8 weather so I downloaded fox 8 max weather and they just disappeared from my screen. Tried to download again and could not. Really miss my checking weather when I want.
I have used this app for a few years now and it opens slower and slower with every update. Until this can be resolved I will just use the generic weather app on the IPhone. I am using the IPhone 8 plus and run very few apps so the memory or the processor cant be the issue. I like this app but please improve the launch speed of the app so it is useable. Thanks!!
Love Fox 8 Max Weather app but few days ago would not come up till I deleted app then reinstalled it. Worked for 24-48 hours then app would come up but nothing there. Deleted again and reinstalled still same problem. Have had this app for several years with no problem till in last couple weeks.
I downloaded this app back in September and it worked great. After about a month the video stopped loading. I tried rebooting my phone and reloading the app several times and nothing has worked. Other than that I love the app. I just wish they would fix issue.
Since the last update I have uninstalled and reinstalled 10 times, can not get the video forecasts to work and can’t get the help button to work either! Loved it before but totally disappointed now
Ever since they added the Webb AC ad, it takes forever for it to load! As soon as you open the app, the ad is all you see. Then, the current temp, etc. shows. Go back to what you had before adding the ad please!
Home screen is frozen and will not move to access your town’s weather info. You can beat it you can swipe every which way and it stays stuck on the home screen. It used to work well but not now!!!!
This app keeps gettings worse each update. Long load time, glitchy radar. to many detailed options that are not necessary. Keep it light, simple, and faster load time.
Current weather was updated 105 months ago?? Y’all could care less about this app. Plent of other apps to get current forecast. Will be reporting this app to iOS store due to negligence.
This is one of the best most reliable weather apps you could possible have! I have IOS and no problems with crashes, bugs or any other problems. Wghp Fox 8is the best most reliable weather station in all of the Piedmont triad, and Van Denton is one of the Best Meteorologist the Piedmont has!
Every time Fox 8 WGHP updates their weather app, the worse it gets! Now in the new version they give you a "lite" app and want you to pay $10 for a premium app. This is a local news station! Please STOP changing the app every 6 months. This is a weather app, not a game or something else that would require new features. There is honestly nothing new, just a new UI. And its horrible!

Unreliable and unbelievable. Got hit with pretty steady rain today, while the app is showing absolutely nothing on the radar and 0% chance of rain until 3 hours after the fact, and even then only 20% chance. Not trustworthy at all
App freezes regularly and you have to delete and download it again. Nice app, but it is ridiculous that the bugs haven't been fixed. It has been a problem for at least a month.
Hey guys. Really need to look at your code here. This app is constantly plagued with issues loading the videos. Love watching the weather forecast when I get home late from work and not worrying about catching it live. Appreciate your attention!!
