Boy howdy, you guys sure are great and the best! It would sure be great if... when I virtually deposit my paycheck, it wouldn’t take 2 weeks or more to clear. If I bring it up there in person, same day. With this new technology... 2 weeks!?!? Maybe more? Doesn’t really make sense to me. I thought this new technology sped things up? Thanks for your understanding and give the guy in the covered wagon a thumbs up for getting my paycheck there.
I am a heavy user of the app. I have accounts for all of my teens in addition to my own and access them all through the app. I saw the 1 and 2 star reviews and those seem to be issues with the user’s phone (touch ID not working) or user error. This app is easy to access and navigate and I have had zero issues with password recognition or touch ID.
I’ve had to go into my local branch several times to get clarity on how to use the new Business app. I’m so tired of calling customer support. The new screening technique is really resistant to pass you on to a live operator and it doesn’t really catch the language that you pose to it. I’m tired of tech-support, putting me on hold to ask somebody else further up the technical food chain. I’ve spent hours trying to get used to this new business app and it has been very frustrating
I love the app! It’s so easy to use & really has everything I need. I manage all my accounts from the app & appreciate all the convenient, easy to use features. Mobile deposit was a great addition. I’ve never had one single issue and I use the app several times a day & have been using it since it was rolled out.
The app shows my 2 accounts, Primary Share and Freedom Stash, however, when you go to make a mobile deposit it shows 3. The 2 mentioned above and a High Yield Share account that doesn’t show up on my app or printed statement. It looks like we’ve accidentally deposited money in this account and don’t know where it’s gone.
For many years I have enjoyed banking with credit unions. It has always been easy and pleasant. I especially love banking on my iPhone. Thank you for this service. I am 85 years old and this service is most convenient for me. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
I have to reload my dashboard multiple times, otherwise it tells me I have no accounts or transactions? And then sometimes it doesn’t work either. Please fix, this has been an issue for at least a month or two
I have been with Freedom First for 20 years and from checking, savings to loans their service is always top notch. They are always updating the online banking to make online transactions easy and fast! Thank you Freedom First and all of your amazing employees for working hard for your members!
Having a bug where the app will not show an updated transaction list unless I force close it and reopen again. Also just noticed a bug where my balances did not update after a transfer between accounts and didn’t show on the transaction page until I force quit and restarted. Other than that it’s been great!
I’ve been a member since they were “Tech Federal Credit Union”. Since then they’ve raised they’re overdraft fees from 0-$32. They’ve tried selling us scammy life insurance policies through the mail and most recently since that didn’t work they are going to begin charging $7 a month for checking if you don’t hold at least $2500 in your account. “Get rid of all the poor people”. Nobody wants to pay for “member benefits” that do not benefit us.
It works for me it easy to follow most times a little trouble with pending and paid when money drawn went money not draw but you learn and you can easily move money around or pay bills like I said it works for me
Tools such as scanning a check in as a deposit is awesome. The chat set up is great as well. If anything I would change around just making the look and feel easier to see and navigate. But the tools themselves are great.
A lot of the bugs have been smoothed out since this app was launched. It’s easy to use and the remote deposit is great. I get a text about 15 minutes after depositing my check to let me know my funds are available, even on weekends.
Service is great for the call in number. I had problems with the Daleville office. I ordered checks there in person and they never came. When I went on the app and sent a message I got a reply promptly and they ordered the checks for me.
I really enjoy having the mobile application, but it will not let you modify any of your scheduled payments. I work in a job where I am not always around a computer and when I need to modify a payment I have to wait until I can access a computer again. Otherwise if they would fix this I would rate the application much higher.
Does not allow touch ID. Yet it asks every time I go to my account to reset everything up. Truly the worst app. The other app was user friendly. Please get the bugs out or let us use the old app.
Every branch that I have ever been in I have been given excellent customer service. I had to relocate last year due to a house fire and I am currently in the Franklin County area and the only inconvenience is no local branches in this area.
I only use this app for mobile deposit because it’s more convenient than hitting the drive thru. But lately it keeps giving me errors and won’t update, so I have to remove the app and reload it. Please fix this bug. Update: almost a year later and this app still won’t work for me. Looks like no fix in sight. Sigh.
I have my phone and app updated consistently yet the app is always down. There’s nowhere to report a bug or problem either. What’s the point of even having a bank account if I can’t access my money? Especially if there’s no 24hr support. Do better.
I can't get the new app onto my home screen. In the App Store, the only option is to "open" the new app. The old one is still in the App Store. The icon should open the new app, but so far it only opens and gives a pop up message that a newer version is available. If you're keeping the old app, at least change the icon.
It’s OK, but lacks a critical feature. I can see my credit card balance, but the app is incapable of displaying individual credit card transactions. I have uncovered unauthorized use of a credit card using another bank app because it showed me the fraudulent transactions. So I have stopped using my Freedom First card.
This institution is fraudulent and willfully violated the customers rights . The staff is condescending and claims you to be wrong for seeking information about your account the app is dysfunctional and unstable . Tech support is none existent . When seeking help you are given the run around on TxT with promise to call never to be called . Bank with another institution save yourself the headache.
Every time I check how much I have on my account. I have to always open and recluse the application multiple times before it even shows up the accurate amount. I can only imagine if I went to check how much was in my account and it did not update to the correct amount. It would be my fault if I overdraft of course. FIX YOUR APP!
I can tell you’re trying which is the only reason it’s more than one star. I can even get my accounts to show up. After signing in it shows no accounts. Pressing the plus sign promos me to sign in again and still no accounts.

I’m sure some of this is user error but I can’t get more than a few days of transactions to load (need to see at least 90 days and balances are not always up to date.
Doesn't update daily unless you refresh five times. It doesn't give an accurate look into current cash availability. I told one of the managers and they told me it was never a bad idea to balance a checkbook...
Will not allow me to online deposit 4000, so I tried $2000. Nope. What?!? Plus my business account won’t let me do mobile deposits at all! It was advertised that I could. Very disappointed.
