When I first got the app it seemed to have a few issues but I’m not sure if that is any fault of my older phone, the fact that it was droid , the app or my watch. I made the transition from Droid to iPhone and the issues I was having seem to be pretty well hammered out for my current phone’s compatibility. I’m currently running the 8+ and I’m having a much better experience. The watch syncs up much better and doesn’t bog down my battery or slow my phone in any way. Some app features seem to be having some minor kinks though, but they are things I can over look. The watch had the basics that I wanted. A bright touch screen and hands free time checking in addition to a nifty LED flashlight. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy or any bells and whistles. Just a low price smart watch. I wasn’t particularly interested in any fitness tracking features of any watch but after playing around found it to be kinda cool. Over all it gets the job done that I wanted.
It looks good on the wrist. Such a pain to connect. It keeps saying it’s not connected but I seemed to have connected it. I can’t text or make phone calls with it via iPhone 12. The time keeps adjusting from the current eastern time and adds five hours. I haven’t charged it yet as it had 80% life when it arrived today. I waited approximately 17 days for this watch when I paid for 3-5 day shipping. I’ll keep playing around with it to see if I’m able to make it work as explained when I purchased it and post an update if I’m successful.
Got the smart watch for Christmas and followed all instructions to the letter. Charged the watch, downloaded the app. Turned on the watch and made sure my Bluetooth was active. Opened the program and tapped add device and all I ever get is Bluetooth not active or no device found. Rebooted watch, rebooted phone, tried reinstalling app all to no avail. What a disappointment, was really hoping this watch was going to work for me, and wife was upset because she thought she had found the perfect gift.
Everything was just fine until I could not connect it to Bluetooth. Then when I went to charge it the adapter that goes into the watch wasn’t even the same shape, I couldn’t not even get it half in. I assumed there was an adapter that I dropped, but I never found one. 1 out of 5 stars, don’t recommend buying this. Not worth the frustration.
This app was ok when I first got the watch I use to be able to see my text messages now it tells me it’s not currently supported but everything else works I want to be able to see my text messages unless it only works with certain apps like whatsapp and fb messages🤷🏽♀️
Like other reviews I get the same message that my device is illegal and not genuine. I bought two devices and I get the same message on both. I do not recommend the purchase of these devices.
Keep getting an error message that my device is illegal, and to use genuine. Well dumb🤬 I’m using the original and this the application y’all have that supposedly work with the watch. Never again will I purchase anything from these people.
Everything was fine until I recently updated to the new app. I now am unable to sync the watch to the app getting “illegal device” notification. Watch is now useless. My bad… you get what you pay for.
Tried installing and reinstalling and App says device disconnected. My Bluetooth says it is connected. App cannot find my device. This needs to be fixed.
This app is a joke I’ve tried several different times trying to sync my watch and all I get is illegal device I will never recommend this crap to anyone
Very user friendly, intuitive and provides a lot of easy to understand health data. It has graphs and reports, hourly, daily, monthly, statistics, etc... In addition, tou can change some settings for the watch from the app, and set specific days of the week alarms and reminders. So, for a fairly inexpensive smart watch, it is a great deal to get all this information summarized in this app. Also, the Bluetooth communication is perfect. The watch and phone stay connected and have no problem reconnecting if they were separated. The bad: the synchronization between the watch and the app is not working properly. The watch data pushed to the app is not always correct and the app sending the new settings or alarms for the watch are not always acknowledged by the watch. In clear, here are two examples: 1- I set an alarm from the app, sync data with the watch and 50% of the time, the alarm won’t go off and if I check the alarm again on the app, it is erased. 2- I walked 9000 steps today and when I sync, the app tells me I did only 3000. Then I sync it again with the watch and it gives the right 9000 steps. 3- the sleep monitor data from the watch really can be transferred to the app, which super frustrating, because sleep is important for me and I like to monitor it through the week. These are bugs which should be addressed, because this app has a LOT of potential, over wise. Thanks.
I have another watch that uses HBand app. The watch is very similar to this watch although it does not have a O2 or EKG. That being said the other watch plus the app are marvelous. The best thing about that watch is it will continuously monitor blood pressure and beats per minute of your heart without you having to do it yourself. It gives you a nice running indication of what your blood pressure is during the day. It’s very disappointing that this watch and app will not do the same thing you have to take the time out to stop and measure blood pressure yourself something that I find they do not have time to stop and do during the day. I’m sure it would not be hard to make the app and the watch sink every 45 minutes just like the other watch in the app. You would have a winner if you did that. Also. I Cannot get this watch to update the firmware I’ve tried several times.
I was really hopeful when I first got my smart watch band. Unfortunately it has disappointments. The sleep mode for my band has never worked. I am not happy that there’s only certain hours it will monitor sleep instead of all hours. Some people don’t sleep “normal” hours. The recent updates have wiped my past history on my band and I have to reset all my settings after each update, which is frustrating. I am not too happy about that either. It tells me the time, although I have to keep putting it back on my view preference almost daily. The best thing it does is keep track of my steps.
seems to be an inexpensive smart watch alternative
The battery lasts forever and notifications work even with my iPhone. I love the ability to do ECG and BP, blood oxygen, though I don’t know how accurate it is. I also wonder if the step count is accurate as more steps seem to accumulate comparing the results to MapMyWalk on my phone. For $27 though, this seems to have been well worth it! It does record sleep though sometimes again I’m not sure about accuracy and watch occasionally randomly resets—but the battery! I know this is about the app which seems to have good functionality pairing with the Microwear L8.
This has the most invasive user agreement I have ever seen. To use this application in order for the watch to track our foot steps and heart rate you require access to our passwords, spending habits and spending practices, basically any information they are able to access on your smartphone they want your permission to access that information. Yep. Throwing this watch in the garbage. Technically you do not need any of this information for the watch to function, all you need is the tech in the watch, Bluetooth and your apps algorithm to connect and track the watch. but instead you choose to take an angle I can only expect from a communist . We enjoy what little freedoms we have left in America and will not consciously give you more information than necessary. Shame
My dad gave me my smart watch as a present and I don’t have the heart to tell him he wasted his money. The app won’t sync with my watch. It gets to step 4/5 on the sync and then just stops. I’ve tried everything to reconnect the Bluetooth, but even when my phone and the watch say they are connected, the app still won’t sync. The app won’t sync with my Apple Health app either. So basically, I can’t use any features on my watch except for the pedometer, and even then, I can’t track anything over time. Every once in a blue moon, my watch will vibrate 30 times with all the notifications that it hasn’t been receiving, but that is short lived. Even when I try to sync my watch when there are signs that the connection is working, the sync fails. Useless.
Okay for basic.. heart rate is way off above 80bpm or sweaty, blood pressure is way off all the time, burned calories will always be incorrect due to incorrect pulse rate, messages first pop up in Chinese, after you tap on it does change to English. I can’t change the sports on the phone app to cycling it only shows numerous ways of walking ie. running indoors, outdoors & marathons. I DO like the look of the watch i just wish that it was more accurate in it’s readings & that phone app was more like (fitbit) cause it really is a nice looking watch.
I got the e watch from Christmas from my husband. I got it December 26th and it only has done half of what it is suppose to do!! Most of the time it is not connected to my iPhone 7 and ecg and heart rate is the same! Can not get messages on watch. Suppose to be able to check blood pressure and other things but don’t have that either. Have to charge it two times a day even with pier saver on. Does not stay synced so doesn’t keep any information from day or days before. So it is great for knowing the time but can get cheaper watches. Also not sure if you can change the band or not so if it happens to wear out you just throw the whole thing away. White band gets dirty really fast and very hard to clean!!!
I was so excited to use my new fitness band. I synced it with my phone and it was working great. It rang for calls and buzzed for text messages. It sent my readings for my steps, my blood pressure, my heart rate and my o2 level to my phone. Then it happened. My phone would ring but my band did nothing. I was no longer getting readings to my phone from my band. I looked at the band to see why and found out that it was no longer synced with my phone. I have to resync it everyday if I want it to work with my phone. Now I only sync it after I charge it. It’s a great concept, if it would only work all the time. Sad in California.
The app is ok. I previously had a Fitbit and liked that app better. Biggest complaints are when you have it set to alert for a phone call it keeps vibrating after you answer the call. For all notifications you also have to manually select it to notify you daily. I would prefer it to save my selection and be done w it. You can’t track your heart rate all the time. There is basically a lot that could be improved on w this app or the product One of the main reasons I purchased this was to also track my sleep. You have better odds at Vegas for that feature to work
It was okay for the bare minimum for a while. You have to actually open the app for it to sinc and if you open it at 12:01 AM then ALL the data and stats from the previous day is lost. Currently, I can’t open the app. It is constantly crashing as soon as it opens. The alarms don’t always go off (I set them then watched my watch until after the time I set). When I go to update my watch it wipes all information and doesn’t update saying it’s ready to update. It messed up once and my watch was UNUSABLE and it took me an hour to try to figure out how to end the endless looping of it connecting to my phone without being accepted or updated.
My watch has managed to go 8 or 9 days without charging. When I get a phone call, the name or number doesn’t register. The same goes on the music setting on the watch. When the phone is separated from the phone for more than 10 minutes, all the marked fields needs to reset such as alarm, texting notification, other apps to push messages, and etc. these features could be corrected, I think it would be cool. Well for starters😁
This watch just doesn’t have the software to be compatible with a Fitbit or other versions of the Fitbit. Nice watch, but for a smart watch it’s lacking. Until the software is upgraded to support the capabilities of this watch I wouldn’t recommend buying it. The sleep monitor is inaccurate. The military tone can’t be changed to 12 hour time The step counter shows me active when at the same time I show to be in a deep sleep. Heart rate is iffy at best. BP is about like the heart rate The sleep time record only going from 9 pm until 9 am pretty much just doesn’t work at all. I don’t believe any of the recorded sleep time. Probably because I was sitting and drinking coffee one morning and it showed I was in a deep sleep. Hmmmm. Fix the software and maybe it will work better. And also it will NOT upgrade the firmware no matter what I do! This app and the watch both are a waste of time and money and data storage on my phone. Don’t waste your time with it.
Provides a lot of features. Has lots of potential.
The application still needs more time to mature, more customizations should be allowed and auto sleep detection would be nice. The interface is a little sensitive sometime it will detect my finger before it even touches the watch. I like it so far and might even recommend open sourcing the firmware and app to get great features benefits quickly.
ETA: I lied, it’s back to unsyncing and my settings and alarms disappearing and needing to be reset. I love my watch, but this app is so frustrating, if it doesn’t get fixed, I guess it’s onto finding a better watch. Well now at least the alarms don’t disappear randomly, but my notifications for call, messages, and everything else keep turning off and then I have to keep clicking them back on again, and they are turning off WAY MORE frequently than before the app update. That’s one of the main reasons I bought my watch was for the notifications, and they keep turning off, please fix this!!!
There aren’t clear instructions to use the app. I keep getting it an error message not connected to Bluetooth but when I look in the settings it’s connected. Also had the program disconnect and freeze trying to go from sleep to heart. Other than the the freezing and disconnecting problems not having clear instructions for using the app unless some of features are for show only.
The app is much better than the past few version, but is horribly unstable and untrustworthy. Here is one example: I take fifteen minute to set up my watch. I set alarms, step goals, heart rate monitoring, sedentary alarms, the works. For the next few days it works perfectly then it decides to “factory reset” at a random point in the day. This reset looses the clock time (resets to 0900 no matter the time of reset), looses your step counts, looses your heart data, all of your alarms; everything. So imagine using this as a workout computer and alarm clock, then loose EVERYTHING at random intervals. Oversleep for work and get fired. Loose your health data and theN look blankly at your trainer or doctor and say “I swear it was there when I looked a little while ago.” In short, don’t waste your time if reliability is important to you. If you want a cheap fun gadget that works sometimes, then this is for you.
Since the FunDo pro was updated my watch isn’t about to sync and stay that way to my device. Each time I sync it, it tells me illegal device and the watch keeps disconnecting from the application. Can a previous version of the app be available so I can use it accordingly like I used to? If not I will stop using this device and may even return it.
Hello I am a cancer survival, however the medication I have to take for five years one of the side affects is it can cause damage to my heart. Having the “Fundo” I am able to keep track of my heart rate, the steps I am taking keeping me reminded of my water intake, it also keep me inform when I have a message, & phone calls without disturbing others. And the price was amazing!! Thanks SFH
The smartwatch keeps automatically disconnecting with the app then loses the entered data like steps, sleep, exercise which all revert back to zero. Often the watch says connected but the app says disconnected and would not sync. The only way it would sync again is if I go to the app, disconnect and connect again. This also removes all the data. Also, when it disconnects, the notifications stop working and I have to manually set the notifications again. Very bad app and smartwatch. A waste of money and time.
I just got my fitness watch a few days ago and not sure if it’s the watch or the app, but my recorded steps on my watch or not syncing properly with the app. I did over 10k steps yesterday and it even says that on the history and it synced with the app last night. Today it’s only showing half the steps of what I did and after unpairing, re-pairing the device, resyncing the device, it still is not showing the correct info, ready to throw it against the wall. When I pay hard earned money, I expect it to work.
It gets the job done.. don’t let your battery go out completely or it will reset it back to 0 steps.. if you want to know your sleep results.. then you must long press on sleep (maybe twice) and then wait maybe an hour or so then check on it again to check your sleep outcome.. FunDo is convenient and I’ve received plenty of compliments on the look of my pedometer.
I was happy with it but since it updated now it say something about the positioning and to make sure the it’s open. My watch and the app are both on and I can’t get the app to do anything it won’t let me see my heart rate, sleep nothing. After it give that message several times it just freezes up and then I can’t click on anything
Event though I do understand that this is a device very similar to the Apple Watch 5 this device with this App is very disappointing. Some of the biggest disappointments of just the fact that I’ll unable to receive text notifications it’s “currently not supported”, the ECG and Heart rate app are the same thing, and that I’m unable to change the picture on the front display to one of my own. Please fix the text message issues and I will change my star status.
Battery doesn’t last longer than a day. The Bluetooth doesn’t stay connected all of the time. You have to sync it everyday. You have to figure out everything on your own because the instructions are a bare minimum. I love keeping track of my steps. I also like the fact that I can get notifications when I wear it. The Bluetooth connection doesn’t go far. Good for the price.
I was happy while my watch was receiving text messages until one day i haven’t received any calls from it any messages Please try to fix it as soon as possible because i’m not the one that uses his phone a lot so my watch can notify me of calls and messages
The biggest sissies with this app compare with the others I’ve been using : 1. It doesn’t provide month by month or week by week statistics. You can only see one day at the time 2. You have to be synced with the watch, otherwise the data from day that you weren’t synced is lost 3. Inability to automatically program the heart rate and BP acquisition. The measurements have to be initiated manually
