You need a subscription to check past records of your pet but it’s pretty helpful if you need exact times in case of a medical emergency so I’d say it’s worth it. My one peeve is that the camera tends to get stuck looking at the wall or something and since it moves based on motion detection, it ends up staring at nothing for hours until I manually fix it. Somehow it always does this when I want to check a past clip which means it’s not so helpful when I actually need it. The app itself is also just a tiny bit slower than reality. Only by a second or two but it’s still noticeable.

Worked great… then not at all
Had Furbo for about two years, (but it’s worked for less than half the time). My first Furbo somehow wouldn’t connect to any wifi, it was within a month of receiving the camera so a new one was sent to me for free. The second worked for a while, then I tried the free-premium version trial. As soon as the free trial ended, my furbo stopped connecting. I’ve trouble shooted the issue multiple times with little to no success, the furbo connecting for a day then not working again for months. The only other options provided by support is to either buy a new camera or buy a premium subscription. Pretty frustrating when you already spend over $100 on a product and it constantly breaks, and the only option is to pay more. You should not have to keep shoveling out money, or need two cameras in two years. They should make better products or have a better app. The app creators made a new version of the app that isn’t compatible with older furbo models and the support team won’t even acknowledge this, and offer no solutions. Save your money, I’ve been waiting on them to fix this issue for months and my furbo has been out of commission for almost 6months. The staff doesn’t care about you or your pet, and they just repeatedly say it has something to do with you and your wifi/ect. When in reality, it’s corporate greed trying to scam you.

Best camera for pet professionals
I work out of my home with pets, I do daycare and boarding and training and grooming. I have two furbos, the original and the mini. They capture all of the best moments, it gives me peace of mind when I have to leave the house, and puts my clients at ease knowing they’re always a click away to make sure they’re okay. My favorite functions come with the Furbo nanny, as it alerts me whenever something out of the ordinary goes on. Thankfully I haven’t had a legitimate emergency in the home, but the alerts to alarms going off and dogs barking or whining that tell me to check it are amazing. When I’m not working and leave my dogs with a sitter, I can check in on them. I also personally love that it tells me if they’re ever unplugged, which was an immediate fire for a sitter at a point. I certainly don’t play with the safety of my animals, which makes this camera and app a must for me. Excellent camera and app!

Furbo Nanny Doesn’t Work
I have paid for Furbo Nanny before. Now after taking a break from the service and returning, Furbo Nanny doesn’t work. I am monitoring my cat’s bathroom habits to make sure she is adjusting to where her litter box is now located. I would appreciate the daily diary and meowing features working, so I can tell if she is having another UTI/ kidney stones. Unfortunately, the only features that are working are the human in view notification and once in a while cat activity (aka her walking over to something). I am not going to continue paying money to be notified when I go near the litter box… I have constantly checked for updates on the app and it is completely updated. Furbo Nanny simply doesn’t work. Update: only after I actuality caught my cat going to the bathroom (by physical going into the basement) was I able to confirm that my cat does have a UTI. She is meowing in pain when she uses the bathroom and this camera hasn’t ever caught it. I am so irritated my cat has been suffering when this could have been taken care of days ago.

Furbo was great
Until it stopped connecting to the app on my phone. I bought this in April 2021. I did all the options in troubleshooting. Nothing helped The only change was my iPhone updated. I get ahold of customer support and their option is for me to subscribe to nanny service or buy a discounted 360 version in exchange for my current Furbo. The dispenser works just fine, my router shows it’s connected, I’m not going to subscribe or buy a new one if you can’t guarantee me you will keep your app updated with new phone updates so I can connect to the video. There are other options out there. I got a response from the developer calling me by someone else’s name identifying the exact issue that isn’t the issue. Everything else in the same room and beyond isn’t having internet connectivity problems. It is your app. Please fix it. I’m not doing the run around with being talked into buying another Furbo.

Liked it for a long time
Got a furbo in 2021 and really liked it for a long time. It gives you alerts while you’re at work about if your pup is moving around, barking, or eating. It started having trouble connecting to wifi recently and would just drop connection. I thought maybe it was just that my furbo was getting old so I got a new one recently and it’s having the same issue. So something about furbo’s hardware is suddenly a bit buggy but it disconnects often enough to where it’s not reliable and just doesn’t do what it’s intended to do. I hope they fix it soon or I’ll end up having to go with another pet camera brand edit:company refuses to acknowledge issue and fix their app. There’s nothing wrong with my internet. I’m sick of troubleshooting your equipment every other day. None of my other devices have this issue. JUST FIX THE APP/HARDWARE

Disappointing
Furbo nanny subscription is not that great. Only records 15 second clips, so you get about a billion notifications and that’s annoying. Only stores the clips for about a day as well. After we decided to not continue the paid subscription following the free trial, we noticed our Furbo stopped following our pets around the room (which it did do prior to using Furbo nanny, so they took away a free feature for no reason) and also the barking alerts go off for everything now, if we drop something on the floor or even squeak a dog toy. I’m convinced that Furbo purposely designed it like this so that you will think your dog is barking more than they really are and opt into their paid subscription. Very disappointing Furbo.

The constant pop up for review is irritating!
The little pop up window asking for review with no way to opt out of review is infuriating! All I want to do is use the app and check on my animals without the constant begging for review. There is no way to say no thanks, no little “x” button, just there with no way to continue on to app use without submitting a review. So 1 star for annoying review popups irritating me all day. Sometimes I don’t want to review, forcing it just makes my review far lower. I thought the constant restarting would have gotten my point across and the pop up would stop but now it’s every time I open the app before i can do anything. So to make the developers happy I’ve finally submitted my review, hope this helps.

Generally really like it and can tell my cats are safe
But there’s some weird inconsistencies that could make it better: The fifteen second clips are strangely cropped sometimes. It’ll have nothing in it and then just stop after a few seconds of my cat. Seems weird. The other one is that out of the last two weeks I’ve been away it hasn’t made the daily diary super cuts of the day and just says please make sure your Furbo is plugged in and it is. Because if I have a days worth of clips. That being said - super good at picking up when people enter the space and notifying me. Pretty good at identifying cat selfies. But unsure if actually picks up noises like it says it does like meowing. I have a pretty vocal cat and it hasn’t ever notified me of meowing while I was away. But maybe she only vocalizes when I’m there. All in all worth the annual fee - but could have some quality of life improvements and relatability with the daily overviews.

Same as other people’s complaints
It used to work well, but now the only time the live feed works is when I’m actually IN the room with the Furbo. It’s not the WiFi and my Furbo is four feet away from my WiFi router. To fix it, you need to reboot it by jamming a pin into the little hole above the plug, and then it works, at least for awhile.

Doesn’t work most of the time
I would say 75% of the time I would get on to use the camera and it was somehow disconnected. My WiFi was fine, I have a baby monitor and a blink camera in my home as well that have never had connection issues. For awhile I was able to go through steps to reconnect it (when I was home at least, so if I wasn’t I just couldn’t use the camera), but recently it just fully stopped connecting. I spoke with customer service and there was nothing they could do about it and their solution was to just buy a new one since I was out of the 1 yr warranty. There are so many cheaper options that work better. My dog doesn’t need stale dog treats tossed at him all day anyway.

I understand that the quality and everything isn’t the best, but seeing your pet when you’ve been away from home is one of the most grounding things in the world. I’m in collage away from home and constantly check the furbo with my sister (she works out of state). It’s nice seeing my family and dog and brings a sense of comfort. We got suckered into buying premium. There are lots of deals going around and to me and my sister it’s worth every penny.

Great so far!
Honestly we bought this camera before checking the reviews. After receiving the camera when we went to download the app and I saw the reviews I became concerned it would not work. We have had it for about a week now and it has worked every time we have used it so far. We have been able to feed our kitties snacks while we are gone and they now come running to the camera when we talk to them. The application also gives us alerts when they are near by and of what they are doing with little recordings. Overall we really enjoy the camera and are happy with it. I just wanted to provide a good review in case they had fixed the issues they had a lot of complaints about.

Pawfect!!!
I was gifted a Furbo as a college present to stay in touch with my fluffy brother. Absolute best gift I’ve ever received and he loves it too! I was surprised to see such bad reviews because the camera quality is really good, the app itself is very helpful and easy to set-up, and my dog loves interacting with me through it! I’m really grateful for whoever came up with this concept and allowed me to see my doggo from hours away from home. Thank you!

Love our Furbos
Very surprised by the low ratings. We have 3 cameras throughout the house, and we love them. Yes, there are some glitches and there are features I would love added, but we are very happy overall! Customer service is also fantastic. For those who’s cameras have stopped working, I recommend contacting them. They will fix the problem to the best of their ability.

If you want to buy a camera I would highly suggest not this one. Honest review, it takes good clips when there’s activity or a person being spotted but if you want a camera that you can watch in real time, this one is probably not for you. I bought this camera because it was recommended to me, but I should have checked out some other ones. This camera app is so laggy and constantly freezing and closing the app. Super frustrating when I buy an item that can’t do what it’s made for.

So many bad reviews just because people don’t want the subscription, don’t buy it then people, I have the base model and love it. The app runs smoothly, camera and audio quality is surprisingly better than i expected. No regrets on this purchase :) I haven’t had it for long so I’ll update if things change

Although I was extremely frustrated with the return process of getting my broken Furbo a replacement… Team went above and beyond and sent me a replacement regardless of me sending the old one back. Great pet camera but recent update is annoying
I love my Furbo cameras because they give me peace of mind while I am gone however the recent update is driving me nuts with the notifications of when my dog is sitting on the couch, laying in bed. It’s excessive and there is no way to turn off that type of smart alert. All the other alerts are great but those mentioned above are a bit annoying.

Update Issue
Love how easy it is to set up & connect. My only issue is I’m not able to zoom out after the recent update. I tried turning off the automatic zoom in option but still zooms in to the same spot during the live. I have 2 dogs so I’m not able to see the view of the entire room like I was able to before this update.

No longer working
This app used to connect/stream video easily, but the last time that I successfully was able to connect to my Furbo camera was 1.5 months ago. I originally assumed some update between iOS and the Furbo app was the issue, but with no improvements over the course of 1.5 months, and no success with any of their troubleshooting steps (including a full hard reset of the camera, resetting WiFi, etc.), I think it’s fair to say that this app just does not work anymore.

Don’t waste your money
Do not waste your money/time on Furbo app or its companion device. Furbo is not compatible with hotel WiFi, so it cannot be used while traveling. It disconnects itself from WiFi, misses alerts very frequently, making it a poor choice for home use as well. If you don’t pay additional fees for the overpriced subscription service, customer service is very disinterested in helping you. Invest in a different company and product, save yourself so much time and hassle.

Used to be good-never works now.
I USED to recommend this product all of the time. Now however, I wouldn’t ever again. The live view NEVER works anymore. I’m constantly going back and forth with support and it will only be fixed for about 5 minutes. They have you pay for extra capabilities, yet can’t seem to figure out how to keep the app working. Support blames my WiFi, yet everything else is connected fine, except the Furbo. Get it together!

It’s not my WiFi, it’s you
Like other reviews say, it just doesn’t work anymore. I’ve had this for years and no issues. Suddenly, the camera stops working and I can’t connect to it. I do all the reset steps, redownload app, power cycles, hard reset, new power supply, and update everything. Everything else in my house on WiFi works the same way it always has except Furbo, which is now useless without the camera and alerts.

Spam notifications
I purchased the Furbo that does not require a subscription. Despite that, this app insists on spamming me asking me to resubscribe, and there’s no way to disable this from within the app settings. I would rather not have the subscription service even if it were free, it’s so bad. Constant false alerts, a useless dog diary notifications that you can’t disable, where I can watch myself coming in and out of my house every day. It’s awful.

Stopped working
Like the other reviews said - the app keeps disconnecting and I’ve tried EVERYTHING. Our kitty loves her kibbles tossed but this is so SAD that it’s stopped working so quickly… please PLEASE fix whatever bug is going on in your app. I really want to keep using this camera. I even have those subscriptions and now the cam is totally useless.

Do not buy!!
As someone who supported Furbo since the beginning it no longer works and they force you to buy the subscription along with their new Furbo in order for your Furbo to work. it’s just another money grabbing technique. My Furbo no longer connects and everything for the WiFi is fine. Literally not even a broken product, just doesn’t connect to the app. What a bummer. Will never recommend this product.

Use to love this camera
I really loved having this camera. It was super fun to see my dog and give him treats during the day. But after a year of being great the device stopped connecting to the app. And despite getting help I have not been able to connect for more than 5 sec on my phone. Maybe if they update the app and fix bugs. Until then I can’t recommend and will be canceling my membership.

No longer works
If I could relate this zero stars, I would. Furbo used to be great and work well. As of June and recent app updates, the app will no longer connect to the live feed. I’ve completed all troubleshooting steps multiple times. I should not have to purchase another device or the enhanced subscription for this to work. It’s not a problem on the user end, it’s your terrible app.

Stopped working
Had my Furbo for 2 years and stopped working my warranty is only for a year so I couldn’t even get a new one. It doesn’t connect to my WiFi and I can’t even see my dogs if I’m not directly at home. I tried to get help in customer support, and they said there’s nothing they could do unless I buy a monthly package. Which I was not wasting my money in this any longer. Dont waste your money!

Won’t connect to WiFi
Like other reviews are saying, they are trying to scam you into buying a useless subscription to fix a connectivity to WiFi issue. Something that shouldn’t be broken to start with. They are holding you hostage by not letting it connect in the hopes you would be stupid enough to buy their nanny subscription. Don’t do it! Move on! Get something else.

Remove the pop ads
The camera, and the service is perfect. However when I opened the app, for month a popup ad was showing, and I was unable to close it. Keep the IT / engineering team and fire the sales/marketing team who force this type of ads…

App doesn’t work
I have this issue: “When I use the live feed I can't leave the screen . The only thing you can do is toss treats now. I can't use the microphone, I can't snap pictures, and I can't go back to the home page. I have to close the app and start over to leave that screen. I'm canceling and looking for an alternative. This just seems to be completely useless now.”

Just Quits Working
All the other reviews are correct, it works great...until it doesn't. All troubleshooting fails. It's not your WiFi; it's their faulty device. Their only remedy is to pay more to upgrade to another system but after this I assume that would also fail in a short amount of time. Bought this full price and it lasted less than a year.

My cat is missing
Yesterday my cat disappeared. Furbo was down, so I have no idea what room she was in last or if she got outside or if something happened to her. The system was plugged in and connected. It just wasn’t working. My baby is gone and thanks to Furbo, I have no idea where she is or if she’s okay. This app literally had one job and it blew it. If you care about your pet’s safety, don’t get a Furbo.

Don’t buy it
This stopped working by month 3, it wouldn’t load and the clarity is very pixelated. You wouldn’t be able to talk to your pet without the video freezing and you’d have to refresh it. So you’d only be able to pick one, either talk to your dog with no video. Or see your dog without talking to them. And the treat throw wouldn’t get through and would jam. Total waste

Stopped Connecting
Like other reviews, mine stopped connecting through the app after their latest update. My router also shows it connected to the network. Support wasn’t helpful, so now I’m stuck with a fairly new (expensive) device that I have to unplug several times a day to get it to work. Very disappointing. (I have the black cat version.)

I have had my Furbo since early 2019. I actually now have 2 units in the house. No issues, works like it should. Have the Nanny subscription. Will continue to use my Furbos.

Stopped working
My furbo stopped working out of no where. very conveniently when warranty expired. have been dealing back and forth with support for a year now to solve this issue with no resolution. they made me subscribe to furbo nanny and they mailed me a refurbished furbo and it of course doesn't work and now they have ghosted me!!! no reply to 4 separate emails in 2 weeks. dont even waste your money.

Won’t connect anymore
So same as all the recent reviews. Updated and the camera know longer works. Contacted support and tried all the options stays on a green light and does not work at all after update. Been a huge supporter but the camera does not work anymore it seems w/ the updates so do not buy

This camera is amazing and the fact that is American is awesome. This toss treat and you can take out the feather. If your cat eats it delete stuff from pass. This is the best camera ever.

Actually zero stars
Why do I need a paid subscription for something I already paid for. I’ve had a furbo in the past and thought it was amazing. The subscription was OPTIONAL! Now they make you have a subscription or it won’t work properly. I should have listened to the reviews this is garbage. Corporate greed doesn’t care about your pets.

Disconnects every hour
Despite having Wi-Fi 6 in the same room, Furbo camera disconnected constantly- every day. Tech support is primarily AI chat bot. Once you pay for the required subscription you are locked in for 1 year. Great concept but it doesn’t work most of the time. Ring camera is a better and more cost effective solution.
