Best company ever.
I want to say thank you to Autodesk for making Fusion 360 and Eagle free for personal use. I’ve learned so much by simply having access to it and I’ve developed very useful and very fun skills over the past 5 years. We now use both services for the business I work at by my recommendation. I’ve brought you business as a result. Again, thank you for letting me have a personal account for my own use. I will never use or recommend Solidworks to anyone. Please continue to give free access for personal use so young students interested in 3D modeling and 3D printing can actually have a pathway to try it. Had Fusion been around when I was younger I would have gotten into it much sooner. The big paywall from the alternatives at the time prevented me from furthering my education.

Unrivaled CAD/CAM
I have used a handful of CAM software programs over the past two decades on a daily basis. Fusion 360 has room to grow but that is one of the things that makes it superior to other softwares, they are actively taking customer feedback and implementing improvements that are actually useful. Hands down the price is unbeatable for a powerful CAD/CAM software. There is no other program out there that has such a broad array of tools that all perform well. CAD, CAM, mechanical drawings, PCB design, analysis, generative design, 3D printing integration, cloud collaboration- Fusion 360 is all of this and so much more. Another great thing about Fusion is the vast amount of training available through Autodesk. It’s as if they actually want people to learn how to use this software. I rarely leave product reviews but this one is well deserved.

Excellent work in progress
I think if i was paying for Fusion 360 I would have rated it a 3 star program against other programs like Solidworks or catia, but being free to Hobbyists it is the absolute best package available for this market. It's the first to include CAM, simulation, and sheet metal features all built in at no extra charge, which is amazing! The other reason Im giving it 5 stars is they are actively developing it, and they are willing to listen to user feedback to improve the program. There are certainly some areas where it needs some improvement to really be competitive in a professional setting, but I think its getting there. The mobile app is also a nice touch. Very useful to be able to show my designs to others to bounce ideas off them.

Incredibly Featured and Flexible
I’ve been using this app to design mounts for a custom car project for the past year and I’m amazed at how fast I can model a part, the send to my Langmuir CNC plasma table. The library management has made it easy to organize all the different areas and designs. The flexibility to create 3D designs both from engineering dimensions, but also model form shapes for body surfaces and features is great. I spent time via numerous video tutorials learning the basics and find there’s always someone who’s done what I need before in Fusion 360. This vast library of knowledge means overcoming almost any obstacle in doing innovative designs. Love this app. Used Solidworks and others, but love the broad features and capability of Fusion 360

Can’t believe how easily I have learned this program.
I am a 3D Printing hobbyist. I normally just download models from the thingy site and print. But sometimes you wanna make something more personal. I downloaded this program under the personal use license and thought I bit off more than I could chew. I went through about 6 tutorials and I am now pretty comfortable building just about any basic non mechanical object , although I have just learned how to do a joint, which is awesome. I recommend this to anyone who is new to 3D modeling but want to tinker around with something that has some real capability. I can already see myself purchasing this and trying to break into modeling as a side hustle.

Great for its purpose
Did people really think they were going to 3d model using this app? Lol shameful 1 star reviews. Obviously if you don’t have a team to work on with projects this app has far less use. Even if you are working by yourself it’s still a great app to brainstorm on your own projects while being away from the computer. Autodesk cares way more about it’s customers compared to all other companies in the industry. Thank y’all Autodesk and unfortunate 1 star reviews by these people, keep being great though. -Autodesk for life user

Terrible mobile app
I have no idea why this has such a high rating. It looks like people are reviewing Fusion 360 as a whole rather than the mobile app? Bizarre stuff. The mobile app is terrible. It's singular feature is that it lets you preview your designs, and it doesn't even do this well. If you have a body or component toggled invisible on the desktop app, it simply doesn't exist in the mobile app. There's a measuring tool, but it's impossible to use it with any sort of precision. You have to tap in the rough vicinity of a feature or edge and just hope it gets close. It also crashes constantly, doesn't give you any indication of the loading progress of a design when you tap on it, and it renders everything with an awful striped ambient occlusion setting that you can't disable. Awful.

Excellent but broken in 2.7.1
Update: Still broken in version 2.8.5. Update: It’s still broken in version 2.8.4. Such a bummer. It’s been broken for over a year. Update: Unfortunately, they didn’t fix it in version 2.7.4 either. Bummer. Update: Unfortunately, they didn’t fix it in version 2.7.2. I’ve been using this for quite a while and it’s always been outstanding. But version 2.7.1 broke the measure tool, which is pretty important in the mobile version. For me, it’s the most important use of the mobile version. No idea how to submit a bug report. I’ve left multiple questions on their community site, but no response. Hoping they fix it in the next version so I can give it a 5 star review!

Old dog, new tricks
After using numerous CAD packages through my like, I stumbled onto Fusion. After a very short learning startup, I find myself able to design, program and make just about anything I can image. From 3d printing to 4 axis machining, Fusion has made my ideas real. Because the package is easy to learn but yet very capable, I am training my grandson through Titans of CNC, to become a machinist. At 13, he has been able to design, program and machine complicated parts without my help! To Autodesk, thank you for the great product and your generous policies for student and their teachers

It’s only a VIEWER
I can’t believe they have this on the App Store with the same name as the full app. This is nothing more than Fusion 360 VIEWER for iPad. It’s disappointing. Our kids have been itching at getting access to it and finally got the student accounts approved. Download and they can’t even work with the models they’ve created in TinkerCAD. Our high school just switched from Dell (horrible devices) to iPad Airs with M1 chip and I would have expected them to handle as well if not better than with TinkerCAD given AutoDesk has Fusion 360 for Macs on M1 already. Disappointed our STEM kids are super frustrated especially considering the painfully consulates way AutoDesk requires student verification and how they collect so much Personally Identifying Information about minors to give them licenses.

Nice
The PC software is my first jump into 3D modeling for CNC purposes, and lack of skill aside, it has been a great piece of software. The companion app is great for goofing around with designs on the go. Anytime I get an idea for a tweak or whatever, it's right there thanks to the cloud storage - no messing around with transferring files or anything. As a newbie to it all and an educator, I'm making nowhere near the cap for profits, so it is free to use. You won't find a better chunk of software for under several hundred, and it probably isn't coming with the ability to work from your phone on the go...

Dad/Inventor
I have been using CAD tools for 30 years. Currently I am teaching my kids and developing multi-rotor quads for racing. We have used fusion 360 for every level of the process, Cad for deigns, CAM for G-code to cut parts on our machine, STL for resin based and filament based 3D parts on our printers and FEA to optimize part weight and drawings for patent filings. This tool is the best tool I have ever used and have had a wonderful time teaching it to my seven year old son and fourteen year old son. I am an inventor and would recommend this tool to anyone interested in bringing ideas to life. Thank you Autodesk, Jim Busby

Good for what it is but expect more...
This software works great for viewing designs on the go. If thats what you’re looking for, you have a 5 star product, though cloud integration could be flushed out more. However, from the industry leader, I expect more. There are other developers who are able to bring a nearly full featured 3D CAD to the iPad. Many people are wanting to transition away from their computers and over to their iPad Pro. I truly wish Fusion360 would go all in on the iPad and bring a full or even semi full featured F360 so those that desire it don’t have to bounce and import between different systems.

So glad this exists
As someone who has been through more than half the certifications for Solidworks in college and has used 3 other CAD/CAM suites, Fusion 360 doesn't have everything I would like. That being said using it for personal projects, I couldn't recommend it more. Keeping all of my projects up to date across 4 computers that I use throughout the week has saved me more times than I can count and being able to show friends/ family what I am working on without dragging out the laptop is a godsend.

Awesome utility for collaboration
Fusion 360 has been my go-to program for 5 years now and the company I work for runs on fusion. When a comment is posted on a file, I can check the app and look at the screenshot to see exactly what the concern is and start working towards a solution even when I’m away from the computer. It’s also a great way to demonstrate the work I do when I go to a trade show or event. I’m able to quickly pull up all my work and assemblies and show what I do.

Super convenient to whip out and show off your models
This app is AWESOME! You get a lot of functionality with a simplified UI. Often times I find myself in a situation where I want to show someone a model that I'm working on but don't have my computer. Being able to pull up the app, hand someone my phone, and let them play around with the model to see different aspects of it is super useful. Thank you Fusion 360 App team!

Fusion 360 is great, this app is just ok
I enjoy the general program but this app seems to miss the mark slightly for what I would want to use it for, which is quickly showing designs and renderings. The general visualization of models is good, and you can make comments in your design, but if you could access the renderings done in fusion 360 from the app that would make it much better. The rest of my complaints are due to how slow the process of using this app is. Models are inaccessible for sometimes several minutes upon opening the app, and when you want to quickly show someone a design this is a drawback. The app also does not keep your login state, despite clicking all the buttons to stay logged in. So you have to go through the login process every time, again adding another delay until you could show anyone a design. The app is still useful but just takes too long to be as useful as I would like.

Get with the times, Autodesk!
‘Collaboration’ = look, and talk about your models. No editing. No saving. Just a viewer. And still 5 stars!?! I don’t get it one bit. After almost six YEARS… nothing more than looking at models generated elsewhere. That’s it. It’s disappointing, really, with the addition of the M1/M2 chips, and examples of what could-be, from apps like Shapr3D, Autodesk seriously needs to really step up their game. While I appreciate the power of Fusion 360 on my laptop/desktop, no iPad editing support is a serious drawback in 2023. For those working on the run, it’s a necessity now days. I’m shocked to say it, but this next years licensing might be going to Shapr3D.

Its easy to use, and it’s useful but…
The mobile app is really easy to use, can’t model in it I don’t think, but its really useful to use to preview any of your 3d models. Only problem is that I have to keep reentering my email and password to use it, and I don’t know how to fix that. It’s possible it’s due to the fact I use the education license because I use fusion 360 using my school email and primarily for school projects. So it’s possible that someone who uses a personal account wont have that problem.

Completely useless and a disappointment
There is literally nothing you can do worth value in this app that you can’t do in a browser. Rather it gains I’m sure some access to your device and then try’s to turn all your clients proprietary designs into what appears to be a social media setting. I got the app because I thought I could do actual work on the go but then realized this isn’t fusion 360 at all and is a false advertisement. If you even can modify a drawing it is not intuitive and the UI is a cheap attempt to mimic a social media platform which has NO useable place in cad/cam which is what fusion360 is supposed to be about. App deleted and if any of my clients designs were posted publicly expect a lawsuit.

Awesome companion to the software
This is awesome, seriously I love that I can see all my active models on my free fusion account, it really makes it fun to show off my projects! The only thing that I wish they could improve on the app is the “keep me signed in” feature doesn’t work at all, every single time I use the app, even if it’s multiple times a day, it makes me sign in again. But the ability to look at the models and the functionality of the app is incredible!

Constantly logs me out, not worth using (it’s only a model viewer and it’s barely good at that)
Every once and a while I want to show a friend a project I’ve been working on. But no, every time I want to access it I gave to re-sign in and it takes about 5 minutes to load the project (it’s normally weeks between accessing the app). It’s a waste of my time every time, and every time I’m more and more tempted to delete it. Otherwise, slow loading and outdated looking controls aside, if you just want to view a model it’s ok ish. Def could be improved a lot and made more powerful.

OMG, so smooth and handy to show off things!
I just discovered this is a thing! I have a huge model that brings my PC to its knees to work on, but navigating and showing it off to friends, family, and FB is such a seemless joy in this app! Now, what would be cool is to select a part and “share as GLTF 2.0 (GLB) to FB” so it comes over as a rotatable object. But seriously, this app is now used regularly at night on my phone as I think of changes I might do the next day to my designs.

Fantastic package
I've been using Fusion 360 to work on some startup ideas after a hiatus from Pro/E, Solidworks for several years. I've been very impressed with F360, and the mobile viewer app is a fantastic bonus. Autodesk is constantly working to improve the product, and the support out there both from the company and from users is way ahead of other competitive products I trialed. I am very impressed with F360, and plan to be using it for a long time.

This done all I need from a Cad program and more.
I have used Cad and Specialized Parametric Design Software for more than 30 years. Fusion 360 has a steep learning curve but the time you invest to learn to understand the features it pay back your time every time you do a project. You will find less expensive software but you wont find a better value to leverage your design time.

3*** only until….
Fusion is a great cad cam software. I love it. I hate that they make minor changes that throw everything off. I wish the app allowed to make solid models like smart cam does instead of just look at models I’ve made. I have a lot of downtime and don’t have he luxury of a laptop every 10 minutes. Also, I hate that you’re changing to a preferred software. I don’t want to buy another apple laptop just to use your product. I would rather just pay 10k for master cam and have that forever.

Can't open STL files -- extremely unstable
Tried to add an STL file and it said that the "upload failed" without saying a reason why -- I didn't even want to upload the file, just view it locally. When I hit the X button in the Uploads tab to try to clear the failed upload, the app crashed entirely. When I reopened the app I was logged out despite having selected the button to stay logged in while signing in. It's really incredible that a company with the resources of Autodesk could produce an app this broken when single person teams are able to create STL viewers for iOS that actually work. Really pathetic stuff.

Brilliant business model
I’m a 3D printing hobbyist and learned Tinkercad first just to knock out quick, simple designs to print. Tinkercad is such a great way to get kids interested in design and then to build the bridge to Fusion is genius, first with a personal license, then student, then they are recommending it to their future employers, and I hope it works and pays huge dividends. I have learned so much and had a blast learning it!

Free version!
As a student, fusion 360 has done more than possibly any other tool that I’ve used to teach me about engineering. The free version for students is such a blessing; being able to quickly visualize my ideas is incredible, and the many advanced tools and functions are excellent to refine my models. I’ve been using fusion for years, and I intend to keep using it!

Rating on behalf of the computer version
Whoever made this is an absolute idiot. Some of the decisions made when creating the mechanics of this app are beyond understanding. Everything that I do comes up with an error. It is NOT supposed to be at all difficult for to simply move an object. It keeps switching the controls at random and messing up what I’m working on. I hate all of the stupid yellow and purple dots that it leaves everywhere, I hate that it randomly makes a copy of what I’m doing when I make new component. Most of all, I hate the person/people who created it for making my engineering class a living nightmare.

Accessible and easy to use CAD and CAM
Autodesk offers this product at a free (hobbyist) level that is as functional as the real thing! Only in team management and expensive cloud computing or advanced features (which are an add on on any case) do you find limitations. Product quality has occasional issues but the product as a whole is solid and I found solutions or work arounds on their forums. Free Autodesk academy and affordable Coursera classes provide ample training to take you from tinkercad to autocad.

Great app, would love AR
As a hobbyist, the app is really convenient to review designs when not on my computer, or show my girlfriend furniture ideas etc. Syncing quickly to your account is nice and easy. I'd use the app 10x more though and it'd be on another level if they could implement some augmented reality aspects. Even if just allowing you to manually scale items over the camera view, it'd be an amazing tool to visualize models in rooms.

An awesome extension
I love using the fusion app to quickly show coworkers, or friends and family designs I’ve been coming up with. It’s always difficult trying to explain complex geometry without any visuals, especially a custom design no one may have ever seen before. However I would love the ability to show and hide sectional analysis, or other inspection tools. If the app had that feature, I’d be 100% satisfied. All around, it’s a fantastic way to look at designs in a pinch.

Replaced Solidworks
This software really changed my business for the better. We were able to drop our Solidworks maintenance contract and convert entirely to Fusion. Now I have 2 additional engineers on staff. I have 10 seats total. We are using it from the conception phase through the machining phase, and even into the marketing phase with the powerful rendering capabilities. The CAM is powerful. The FEA is adequate for our use. The surfacing works well. I love it.

Perfect for navigating and presenting models
This is a perfect tool for presenting models to friends or colleagues. You can pan, orbit, zoom, hide components, etc. Beware, larger files take quite some time to load (sometimes 5 minutes for a power wheelchair I’m working on). My only desire for fusion 360 on IOS and Mac, is that the project and file management wasn’t so glitchy. I’ve tried creating new folders for new projects, and they tend to disappear. This makes organization fairly difficult.

An Essential Evolving Tool
If you're a maker, industrial designer or mechanical engineer - this software needs to be in your toolkit. While not as bulletproof as some other legacy CAD packages, the constantly growing combination of tools, such as simulation, CAM and rendering, provides incredible value to the professional maker. Providing this to the world as a free-to-use system for hobbyists and academics is a true gift that the good people behind Autodesk should feel proud of.

It seems ok
It seems like a good app. Coming from TinkerCAD and wanting to level up my designs, I looked into Fusion 360. When I opened Fusion and started messing around to figure it out, I noticed I can’t edit existing designs, and create new ones. So I came back here to the App Store, and read the description, and was disappointed when I learned that the most you can do on iPad is view designs, but not create them. I hope that that is changed in the future. I might have to look into other CAD software that works with iPad.

Works but Lacking
This app is great for what it is, however because it lacks almost all the features of the desktop app, I find myself having to carry around both my iPad and MacBook every day. If Autodesk could find a way to implement the features of the full application, maybe making use of the Apple Pencil or iPadOS’s new “mouse support”, this app would truly be worth a 5 star rating. That said, nothing is inherently wrong with this application and if you want what it says it does, you won’t be disappointed.

Zero stars. Can’t load layers?!?
This app is idiotic. If you save your F360 desktop project with any of the layers turned off, then those layers are completely inaccessible from the mobile app. They don’t show in the layer tree, so there’s no way to turn them on or off. It’s as if they don’t exist at all. So unless you always remember to save your desktop projects with all of the layers turned on, you will never be able to see the full project in this mobile app. I can’t imagine how dumb someone has to be to design the app with such a glaring lapse in essential functionality.

Really great, good as free, ideas for more function
This is really awesome as a way to view my files, show them to other people, and share them somewhat. Fusion 360 really is the most cost-effective 3-D modeling software on the market, and the fact they give it to hobbyists and start ups for free it’s amazing. Very good job that’s very good of them. They’re making the world a better place. I think that it would be really cool if this app enabled me to sketch from my phone, and even do some shape modeling from my phone. I think if it was possible to directly download and email and store 3-D files through the phone, that would be neat. But maybe they don’t do it for security reasons?

This does NOT let you 3D model. It is only a viewer
I don’t know why everyone is giving review of Fusion 360 desktop app here. This app DOES NOT let you do 3D modeling like real Fusion 360. If this app was titled “Fusion 360 Viewer” I would give 4 stars, but as “Fusion 360”, I would give only one star because it has no modeling features and it is just misleading. Plus, what is the difference between this app and A360? To me they are exactly the same. For Fusion 360 desktop app, I would give five stars, and I am waiting for a day when this mobile app will truly be Fusion 360 and let you model on iPad.

A lot of interactive menu issues
First of all, there is no way to delete projects which needs to be addressed. Secondly, there is no way to rename projects or folders. There is also no way to delete folders either. I’m sure there are more issues, so this is just the top of the iceberg. I don't believe a 1 star is justified, however attention to this matter is needed. If developers see this, please fix all of these issues and make the interface more usable. Besides that, the app does what it is intended to do decently, view auto CADs.
