It’s been a couple of years now and they still have not fixed the sign-in issue. When logging in with the CORRECT userid and password, a message pops up stating that the information is incorrect and to call support if the problem persists. Then, the app restarts and the user is forced to sign in a second time. When calling support, it’s impossible to get them to comprehend the issue. I have been told repeatedly “we do not see any failed login attempts and your password is not locked” and “you shouldn’t have any issues signing in.” Duh. This is exactly what I’m trying to tell. So fix it. It is highly annoying to experience this every single time I want to check my account. My experience with GeoVista has been exceptional, but I’m so frustrated and unimpressed with this app and the app support that I am ready to close my account. It’s my bill pay account so I need to check it often and make quick transfers for certain bills/expenses. I think I might do better to switch to the credit union I use for my personal and business accounts.
I switched to Geovista with the idea that I needed in local bank.I thought that when I switch I will get the same service that I do with Usaa. Unfortunately I have not even been able to login to the app whenever I try to login it says my credentials have not been verified. I took the issue to the bank talk to a member service person and they told me it’s my phone. So switching to this bank really defeated the purpose because Even though I was able to get a local bank I can’t even use the app.
Wish it would stop deleting my info every few months and locking me out... It does it like once every 2-3 months... This happens and then I have to call and have someone unlock it every time.. Nobody else gets into my stuff but me... and now it’s been down almost a week !
Every time I open the app, and use the correct password and ID, it always, ALWAYS, gives me a message that tells me it isn’t correct. The app is the only way for me to check my balance because online I have no option of checking it. The app is really bad and should get looked at or something... I’m getting both tired and frustrated when it constantly gives me some error message when all I want to do is check my balance.
I’ve now tried for a week to check my balance and every time I try the app will tell me to sign in using my user Id and password. Then after I do that it tells me that they couldn’t validate my data and to call the bank. This has happened on multiple occasions and I’m getting tired of almost over drafting because I can’t check my balance on the app. PLEASE FIX
I thought I was doing something by opening up an credit union account closer to my house, boy what an Huge Mistake that was. I never seen such an old Fashion, out dated app in my life. I guess if you’re not an mobile bank person, then GeoVista will be perfect for you, unfortunately I love mobile banking and this bank doesn’t offer that, so I’ll be sticking with Navy Federal for an while, b/c my local credit unions don’t know how to get with the program.
There is no need to renter your password to make a simple transfer. If security is so critical you have to renter your password to do anything, make it recognize you using Face id. This app needs some more features: Secure messaging: I should be able to message GeoVista to change my address, etc. Labeling accounts: I should be able to rename them to simple words like “checking” and “savings” not some meaningless string of three numbers. Passwords: I should be able to reset my password on the app instead of calling. Added functionality: this should be more than a way to check your balance. Look at ENT FCU and USAA for the ways this app can approve.
Every month the app goes down and when you try to check your account balances it says Unavailable. This is recently happening now and has been this way for the past two days. I wish someone was managing or updating this app more to fix these technical issues.
I’m trying to check my account. I keep hitting update and it keeps redirecting me each time. Please correct this! Phone is up to date, not sure why the app keeps sending me to update now and nothing happens. I’ll uninstall and then reinstall
When the app decides to load it requires me to log in manually. Then once I’m in all of the accounts read unavailable. I might as well go to ATM to check my balance cause the app fails me every time. Just throw the whole app away.
Password continuously asks to have it changed or locks out user and won’t allow reuse of previous one that it claims was incorrect! Old app was better and allowed history to be viewed longer than 30 days/same month only.
It constantly logs you out and when you sign back in it tells you it can’t validate your login info. So then you have to go to your bank or call to have them reset it. In this day and age how difficult is it to have a working functioning app!?
Always crashes and I can never make transfers between my accounts it’s so annoying this app is pointless And doesn’t have as many features as my other banks
Literally doesn’t give any information or clear instructions. I mean doesn’t even show my credit transactions nor changes or payments. I have to use the online site.
The banking app needs improvements. 1st an update to include touch ID on iPhones would be nice. 2nd it would be nice to be able to search back thru accounts more then about 6 weeks as it is now. 3rd improve/add a balance after the transaction. This way balancing or fixing a mistake would be quicker. My MHV(another credit union) app does all the above. I just feel this app could use many improvements and be brought up to today's technology. Time to get with current needs and technology.
Tried to install 9/23 update and the app loops back to the original app and will not allow an install. I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it, and it still does not work. there is an endless loop in the update process currently. There is a flaw somewhere in the update. Therefore, I am unable to use the app.
Absolutely the worst banking app I’ve ever used. Instead of bonuses spend money hiring a IT professional to code your app. Every single month it logs me out with Face ID, then my password is no longer recognized. This is not how banking should be.
