If your a host, you will have to deal with competing with other spaces due to some type of algorithm that is going on. Ive used other apps and get multiple bookings a week but on giggster, even though I have the same prices set as the other apps, I get one booking every 1-3 months. I’ve even searched for my house from other phones and computers and sometimes it doesnt even show up. When it works however, it works great. I’d like the tech pple who run this app to make it more fair and less shadow banny and random. I have over ten 5 star reviews and even those don’t help you enter the algorithm, theyve got the same 30-50 listings showing up no matter what you type in and I find that quite a silly business model because you’d make more if you showcased more variety. Renters have no problem looking through multiple listings, they dont need to be force fed the same top listings (only reason they are top listings is because they are the only ones that show up) Come on guys. Still gave you five stars

Giggster is miles ahead of Peerspace, yet it’s the simple things. Minimum hour booking, for starters: Peerspace is loaded with hosts who will only allow bookings with a 6-hour minimum. I’m sure that’s not an issue for larger scale productions, but what about the smaller stuff? So many of just need 2 or 3 hours. Photographers don’t need 6 hours. Shooting a scene for a music video doesn’t need 6 hours. It just seems hosts on Giggster or more realistic, reliable, and artist oriented. Giggster has lots of bookings with 2 hour minimum. And to top it off, response time & accuracy: Giggster hosts are quick responders. Within an hour, most hosts will respond. Peerspace? Days! And that’s if they ever respond at all. Giggster also has a lot less amount of hosts using that laughable $200 “cleaning service” fee to inflate their profit margin. That fee should only be allowed to be imposed for a minimum size event like 20 attendees or something. Giggster is winning. Bye Peerspace!

Giggster is a trustworthy site that offers you the opportunity to host folks who are looking for a place to shoot a project they’re working on, to host an event or even business meetings. It is an opportunity for you to make extra cash, while also experiencing something new and fun. I just wrapped my first “gig” and I have to say, it was 10 out of 10! My experience with the gentleman I worked with and his entire team was just phenomenal. Everyone was super polite, respectful, punctual, hard working and just an ALL AROUND a wonderful crew. I’m super stoked about this and I hope I can continue to encounter and book good people who want to create art in our space.

When it comes to looking for spaces to produce Videos or take pictures, it is not always easy and sometimes very expensive and you require special permits, with Giggster it is simple and you find everything in one place with the description of the services, the equipment, the general rating from the host etc.. I have personally used it for my last m 10 projects and I am very pleased with the way everything is integrated, keep up the good work. I love planning parties! I was able to create the best one with Giggster. They were able to help me find the best venues for all the craziest themes in my mind. Being able to create a successful event makes my heart filled with joy. Now, I won't have to stress myself looking for party venues! I need my Giggster app and book them. Aside from its efficient and fast booking, I was also able to save a few dollars from my wallet. Their venues are always unique and affordable. You can never get this kind of space from other booking apps.

We just confirmed our second home rental. The first was music video production. The online process was simple, directions were thorough, and payment was seamless. We had a great relationship with the production team and took personal photos with the artists. It was great looking behind the scenes of a production. Our next gig is gaming interviews. Very different but always fun to see parts our home in a public forum!

I’m providing 4 stars because some features are not easy to find (or do not exist?) in the app. For example, overtime charges are not submitted via the app - you have to look for the email from Giggster then go to the website to complete the form. I did not receive any sort of confirmation notification that I submitted overtime charges. As well, there does not seem to be a way to follow up on overtime charges in the app. The only record of these charges lives in my email. They are not even listed under the Completed Bookings. Not intuitive at all.

The new Giggster app makes it easy for me to respond quickly to booking requests for my property (which improves my rating and makes my listing more attractive to renters). Once a production is booked, the app makes communication easier, too. No need to go to the giggster website or check my emails all the time. I can rest easy knowing I'll get an instant notifcation from the app for every communcation from my renters.

I got into a car accident on the way to a space that I had booked maybe two hours before and was told that I could not receive any type of refund for a space I never even made it to because I have to have cancelled 48 hours before… for a place J had just booked two hours prior. They then offered me 5 dollars off my next booking and told me to take it up with the merchant, who had no idea what they were talking about because not only do they take a cut of what you pay them, they make it impossible to give people their money back. Horrible business, very money hungry. I will not be using this service again.

Been using this app for over a year now. It helps find a spot where you and your guests can celebrate your special day. In addition, it can locate a place for a music/movie space. The reviews left at these places are from actual people who visited the space and their experiences. I’m summary: - Schedules your date/time - Provides pictures of the place - Shows you what’s offered at the space to include Foods/Entertainment/Rules/Etc… - Let’s you link up with the host - Shows you the cost for the space and any Additional items offered - Allows for you to plan ahead This app is generally what you need if your seeking a specific space for your event. Kinda cuts out a party planner and allows you to take full control.

I’m coming from the perspective of a homeowner. I love giggster and the clients that it brings to me. I only rent my house out for film production I don’t rent it for events. It’s a great app that allows me to quickly respond to inquiries. I can have easy back and forth text messaging with the client thru the app. I can see the date and hours requested and the payout. If you’re a homeowner and interested I highly recommend Giggster.

Giggster is the industry leader in matching hosts to guests for use of their homes in media and production. Etc. We have had multiple bookings and they have all been great. Guests have treated our home with respect and followed our rules and limits and in return we have received a nice amount of money and the honor of having our home utilized for projects small and large. Such a cool idea!!

Been using Giggster for years now. I don’t even think about using peerspace. Communication is easy, booking is easy. No annoying notifications when you leave a message on read. Customer support is quick and helpful. I dk why anyone would use a different service.

As a host on the Giggster Platform, I really appreciate the Giggster team’s responsiveness and ability to make things happen. We’ve experimented with some of rhe other platforms, but feel no one does it better than Giggster! The app is great because it makes it easy to stay in touch with our renters and with the team at giggster, as well. 5 stars!

Giggster is definitely one of the better platforms out there for space rentals and bookings. We use a couple different ones right now and I’d have to say that Giggster has been the most seamless & painless app so far. It’s user-friendly, no frills, and their customer service team is on it. Highly recommend.

I’ve really had no issues with this app. it works smoothly, the people i’ve encountered have been lovely. The support team is always on it when it comes to a question or concern. i enjoy how it’s not an automated response and the fact they are actual people.

Working with the team at Giggster has been a great experience. Their great team of staff is one of the best staffs that I have work with. They didn't just keep the website running but they also help me find the perfect venue that fits my budget and needs! I am looking forward to using this app again in the future.

This is our first experience with Giggster and we were able to get our first booking as a host within a few weeks of posting the profile. Communication with the renter worked perfectly with notices going directly to my phone through the app. Very pleased.

Hadn’t used this app before but would recommend 11/10. I had to book a space last minute for a gathering of content creators and I found a space that delivered major WOW! So grateful and am recommending to all my friends who are creators and curators.

Giggster is fantastic! It was so easy and seamless and you don’t need to worry about any issues. Literally booked a restaurant for a film shoot through the app and the cost included insurance and everything. I would absolutely use them over and over again.

I’ve been hosting couple properties on Giggster for a few years and is really paying off. The app is easy to use and most renters are professional production companies. Giggster pay on time and any damages and overtime will be resolved quickly. Much better than Peerspace!!

As a host I’m always happy accepting a booking from Giggster as they are present and helpful if any issues come up. They also process payments super quick and confirm everything with emails. They are definitely my platform of choice for this type of activity.

I had used this for the first time a few days ago the booking process was super easy, better then Peerspace in my opinion. And they don’t have any of those ridiculous fees. Fast booking and all the hosts are superrrrr nice. I will be using this for now on.

As a renter, the permit coordination services that Giggster offers are invaluable. The team takes care of everything and makes sure that all necessary permits are in place before the rental date. It's a level of professionalism that I can't find anywhere else.

People book with what shows up start which is for less numbers of people. And then they think thats the price for all number of attendees. There is no way to start with 30-45 people.

Giggster offers you all the support you need to get your location listed and visible to prospect clients. It gets you covered with a robust contract and peace of mind. Their customer service is superb. Also they are constantly improving their platform.

Love the app! Easy to message guests and edit your own listings. The only thing is, is that I wish it gave you an option to add a booking directly to your external calendar rather than having to input it manually. Other than that, everything works great

Giggster has surpassed other services for filming location variety. The amount of really nice locations is astonishing. The ease of use is great and the app does not lag and functions well. I wish there were more of a rewards program, but that’s a small gripe.

I am very happy using the Giggster app on my phone. It is very easy to navigate. I communicate with prospective renters from wherever I am. I can check my messages immediately and get back to people on a timely manner. Can check my account and any other info right away. Great app.!

This app is impressive. It can help you book, and rent superb venues that you have never seen before. The app also has one of the most accomodating hosts. One of their amazing was ableto help us with our party. Definitely looking forward to using this app again in the future!

If you have a home or space you think would be useful for a production this is a great app to use. Very similar to Airbnb in functionality. Communication can be done over sms which connects with the app. Great feature.

This user friendly app takes the guesswork and hassle out of booking locations. I love the messaging service within, too. Most people are quick to respond. Never had a bad experience. Love it!

Easy to use as host or renter first time out support is always Avilable. Speaking as a host now the 1st ranking seems fair the app is fast messaging is not delayed all the time. I do wish reviews could be linked to google though. Overall can’t complain.

Giggster could not have been a better system for booking locations on my most recent short film. It was easy to communicate directly with the owner of the property and finding places was also incredibly straightforward.

This app allowed us to really get a sense of the property. When. We got there, we were not disappointed. Be mindful that if you have any a big crew, the price will go up significantly and it can add up fast.

I was looking for a small venue and Giggster popped up with venues, I had never really heard of them but I was very impressed with the whole process and with my venue I will definitely use again and recommend that everyone use it.
