I was able to win the raffle to be able to see the 2023 concert. Huge fan of Conan and Skz. Entered the VIP raffle too. Everything is going smoothly. I redeemed my tickets. Tasks are easy. Except that some actions are only for specific countries. Which can be a bit annoying since you can’t complete them. Also, they don’t add lots of new tasks so if you finish them all, you can’t earn any more points. Other than that, it’s great to be able to see some of your favorite artists for free
This app is good to educate you on what’s going on in the world and so that you feel like you’re making a difference, but they barely have any rewards anymore. I won a product and claimed it through my email and I never got it. They also only do concerts in one town for each artist now instead of the multiple they used to do. It’s also almost impossible now to win any of the rewards. They need to go back to the abundance of reward options they used to have.
I had to leave this app a review because although it did take effort I won Tickets to See Harry styles love on Tour that would have been like 1k it was one of the best nights of my life I could have never bought tickets like that for myself I'm so greatful to global citizens ancestors god and the powers that be that got me them! Def download the app
Finished all the tasks and actions, rarely any new ones
Once you’ve completed all the tasks and actions, the app is kinda pointless (I still never won, wish they added more tasks daily or gave entered stars back when you don’t win drawings). The social media actions and journeys don’t give stars and I’ve been trying to complete sprints but for some reason when I try to sign the Conan Gray sprint petition it doesn’t let me, it says (302 found). (My app has been updated to newest version!)
I heard my friend won free tickets to the global citizen festival in NYC this year so I thought I’d give it a try. The app makes it easy for you to earn points and learn at the same time. To my surprise, I won free tickets as well with 32 entries. I’m very happy about this app and it gave me no issues to redeem as well. 5/5 rating.
Everything was awesome until the last update. Unable to type on any of the “write a message” campaigns or tasks. Every time I click in the text input field I’ll have my keyboard pops up like it should then immediately the keyboard hides and when I try to click to type anything in that text area… it doesn’t work. Unable to complete any of the message actions now :(
I am Huge supporter of Global Citizen. I was always a member. Now every time I try to log in. Recognize my email, but nothing happen. I take action. I never get a ticket to a concert. I also live on W 85 st off Center Park, I am always outside the fence. Please help me this year. Thanks
I’ve learned so much from this app. It’s made me change the ways that I live. It’s fun, educational, and I even won concert tickets! Every one of us can make a difference! I’ve shared this app with everyone I know. Highly recommended
Was a big fan of the app and supporter. 6 years ago I received two tickets and attended the concert two years in a row. Following year supported, earned and entered, never won any tickets in app concert raffles, and even though qualified and entered, never won the two tickets to the main concert in Central Park. Revisited app last year. Same thing. Qualified, entered for main Concert tickets. Never received them.
I cant claim my tickets for the 2023 festival. I’m a huge fan of Conan Gray and was really happy to find out I got these tickets, only to be met with multiple errors. I’m afraid I won’t be able to claim my tickets within the 48 hour period if this continues, and if that happens I will be deeply dissatisfied
Hi, I live near Central Park and have over 700 points and am not able to get a ticket for the event in Central Park. I have never been able to get a ticket no matter how many points I have, I couldn't get tickets last year either. Can you help me with this? I have an old IPhone 6 and have contacted Global Citizen multiple times and no one gets back to me.
I already down the app and delete 2 time because It’s frozen and it doesn’t allow me to advance in other causes, it remained stagnant in the first one, it gave me 5 points and it did not allow me to take further action… I really want to win the tickets please fix that mistake in the app !
Some actions don’t work, some dont grant any points
Some actions called to leave a message but not working- does not provide any way to actually leave a message. Actions like tweeting dont Grant any points. Makes it frustrating.
I have had the app for a while, I don’t know what is up but at this point I wanna delete. The issue I’m having is that every time I go to share a tweet of anything, the app says it has timed out. I try to reload the page but it never lets me get my points for the post once it’s made.
I can’t tell which actions I’ve completed versus not done… the UI doesn’t indicate this to you so you have to click in through the action just to see if you’ve already done it before. Poor design choices. It’s also no longer clear WHICH actions earn you points..
After i’ve completed all the actions it gave me, i refreshed it and no new actions popped up, i waited each day for new actions to refresh on my page and none did. i can’t get points anymore because of this.
I am receiving an error when I am trying to complete an action as well as when trying to post on Twitter. This app use to never have issues but it has become extremely problematic.
Love Global Citizen, But App Crashes & Doesn’t Work
I love Global Citizen, but I’ve been trying to do actions for like two weeks now and every time I try I get an error message. I’ve updated the app and it has fixed nothing.

I’ve been a member since 2015 if I’m not mistaken and was finally only able to win last year. Countless actions made, several entries for rewards. More than 20 entries to see my idol and lost. Just disappointing.
there are so many different problems faced across the world and i love how i’m able to educate myself and find ways to help those in need just from this one app. that being said there are a couple problems i found on the app. for some reason i’m not able to actually change my avatar which isn’t a big deal but when i tried to take a quiz i couldn’t even see the questions. the color scheme is also a bit weird because some of the text blends in with the background and it makes it a little hard to see. nothing too big however just looking for some ways to help improve the app. :) overall i love it!
One, I already disliked GC’s liberal affiliations and was unimpressed by their corporate-backed sponsorships, but when I learned that they were forcing everyone to download the app this year - which was so subpar in technological advancement that it doesn’t even justify the participation - in order to encourage “activism”, my view of GC has just plummeted. They must know how this drops so many people’s accessibility, and even those with limited accessibility can be activists and go to concerts. So we’re forced to partner with corporations funding global destruction, download a crappy app to participate in activism we could’ve done on on our own devices anyway, and the app doesn’t even work because my tweets can’t go through! Uninstalling, resigning myself to listening to the music through the the bushes, and continuing to build the revolution from the ground up as it’s meant to be!
Since a negative review really trashed the app and the organization itself, why not offer suggestions to improve it. having worked on global poverty programs in about 30 countries in as many years, this group is one of very few that actually crosses cultures and has tangible positive results without relying on government (donor) finding — also gets a lot of folks thinking about global problems that affects us all. I’ve always been a global citizen since studying foreign language and culture at an early age (1960’s) and appreciate the role of diversity and multiculturalism in enriching society - sorely needed in America today
Twitter Actions Not Working/Reward List Population Issues
For several weeks now Actiona which require Tweets are not working. Since the very start of this app, the Rewards List populates in peculiar ways. For example, you’ll be looking at a Reward ten or twenty down from the top of the list, but as soon as you attempt to scroll further down the rewards list it will take you all the way back to the top of the rewards list. Please fix this.
I love this app. It lets me take action on important issues and make a difference. I really feel like I’m making an impact on big, complex issues. It helps me learn more. And I get cool rewards for the actions I take. It’s a fun way to do something that matters.
So I was forced to download the app because the website took away the "Enter to Win" button on the website. My points won't transfer to the app but the website points get updated for every action taken on my phone. This is a huge problem because I qualify to enter the drawing at this point but the website doesn't have the option, and the app won't let me because it doesn't update my points bc I don't have enough ! Someone fix this please.
I love this app and I think everything it stands for is great. The quiz section has a couple of bugs though. The questions don’t show up only the answer choices do. So it would be great if you guys could fix that.
It makes taking action easier, but the scrolling in the rewards section messes up every time and doesn't have rewards ranked by those closest to me. I turned off the location services so I could try to type in the places I'd be willing to attend shows but it still uses the last location. The app is a good idea, but they need to work out the kinks and bugs.
I recently won two free tickets while learning about the problems that are occurring right now!! Great app, although there should be more options on rewards. Like for instance gift cards or more singers to chose from
Points from website doesn't transfer over to the app but app points transfer to website on desktop. However desktop version doesn't let you enter the raffle for the contest. They just updated the app and it took away 9 of my points for no reason! This app is no good
This app does not display the full range of actions shown on the website, did not count any points i have previously earned on the website, doesn't not let my Twitter post go through like half the time and occasionally doesn't count the points after. If you are gonna make an app to support such a worthy cause at least bother to make sure it functions.
Just downloaded and was excited to start participating and taking action, but a lot of the actions do not work properly on the app. It will not let me post to Twitter at all, it keeps giving me a ‘post not sent’ message. Please update the app and make sure all of the actions work so we can actually help.
Not fair that we cannot use past points to enter this drawing, i had saved over 60 points to make sure i could reenter and they could not be put towards the draw. You must do all action to gain enough points to enter which on some level is fair when the points actually get added like they should but when the points dont get confirmed this is unfair.
