Customization of the old version is missing

In the old version I could see all what I want without having to scroll up and down, but now to see exactly the same info I have to scroll ... why missing with that great feature, ( for me, I care mostly about 5 things : price of Gold, Oil, USD index, DJIA index, and S&P 500, try to see those 5 in the old version and compare it with the new version to see what I mean ) One noticeable improvement that I like so much in the new version is that Icon price notification, that’s certainly a great idea. Thank you for all your great efforts and hard work, and certainly for this great App.

Homepage app

I really appreciate this app and it has long been on my home page. I love the customizations available. My one issue is that when I open the all on my iPhone, my audio feed cuts off. I cannot imagine why this app requires access to the iPhone Austin engine; perhaps it is related to special access for the vision impaired. In anY event, it would be nice if there was a settings switch to disable this feature.

Good app, a couple more features needed.

Overall I’d say this is a really good app for tracking the metals market, but to be a great app a couple more features are needed. 1) The ability to increase font sizes would really be helpful for those using an iPhone vs an iPad. This could either be through use of dynamic fonts controlled thru iOS or a built in app settings. It’s really hard on older eyes especially the news articles. 2) The ability to customize the widget, it would be great if I could select what I want to track. As an example, I’m really not interested in the price of crude oil, if I could replace crude with platinum or palladium that would be great. I know I’m being picky, especially on a free app, but adding these features would definitely make this a true 5 star app. Thanks

Notifications

I am really enjoying the new version of this app although, it says that I have received 1800 missed notifications. I have tried to look everywhere in the app to either locate or turn off these notifications, but I haven’t seemed to figure out how to do it.

Historical charts / price trends are working again!

Something changed with a recent update, all the historical price charts on the app stopped working. However, I wrote about the issue in my review of the app, and amazingly KITCO or their software developer corrected the errors. I’m happy to restore 5 stars and say this is a great app again!

Great news feed

The news videos are great. There’s just one problem. If you deselect a video that is playing it disappears from view with no way of stopping it. When done playing it plays multiple videos all in the background. I have to turn off the phone to stop them. I only keep the app because of the great content.

Sound on videos.

Updated review! Switch phone out of silent to get sound on videos. Dev super helpful with addressing my question! Is there a setting I’m missing? My dad and I each cannot get the news etc videos to play with any sound. Thanks

Getting there...

I appreciate the fact that the new app offers a configurable watchlist, but it is a pity that the widget does not display that watchlist instead of some arbitrary quotes & news. That should be easy to address, I think...

Dislike newer feature

I don’t like how when I open some news articles it automatically starts playing a video at whatever volume I last set my phone at. When I open something to READ about gold I might not always be in a place where I also want to HEAR a loud video about gold. I really like the news but hate this feature so much that I going to find another gold app.

My everyday go to !

This app is fantastic! I can always count on it and it gives the values for other kinds of gold 10k 14k etc on down from 24k It also gives DWT (penny weight) values for every metal. I love this app!

Love the app, but what happened to the graphs?

I’m not sure if I did something wrong, but it seems I can’t have the graphs come up when I select the commodities. But I love the app. It’s fantastic when it was working.

What happened to mining news?

Mining is a category in the news tab. It used to keep up to date with the latest happenings in mining. For the last few months, there are only a handful of articles.

Love the app .. but

I’d have given five stars, but recently NEWS I’d grayed out, as well as MARKETS and WATCHLIST. I click NEWS all the time. Is this a universal problem with an update, or something I need to do?

Now it’s Useless

I can not longer see any precious metal prices or any historic prices. Needs an update soon or I will just delete it; because without one, it’s basically useless at this point.

It seems that the charts have stopped working with the latest update. Uninstall, and move on. It has not been addressed for many days.

In Gold We Trust

Finally there’s an app for both worlds, I’m a gold guy but do use bitcoin for payment. This is a great best app around to follow Bitcoin Cryptocurrency and Gold. So thankful for Kitco coming up such a great app!

No sound on news videos

Just downloaded app and it looks great but no sound on any of the news videos. Nothing wrong on my device in that I get sound on all other apps. Please fix, thanks.

Bug

Something is keeping this running in the background and draining battery. I’ve got 5 minutes on screen and like 13 hours off screen in the battery settings. Can’t find another forum to send bug info.

Bug report

Tapping 'More from Kitco' is unrecoverable. One cannot go back except by restarting the app. The back arrow on top left does not work. Using Version downloaded on June 6, 2022 on iPhone 13.

widget always broken

I’m on iPhone 8 with latest iOS. The widget never works. Always broken. Nothing shows aside from price deltas. I already deleted the app several times and reinstalled. Problem persists. I would give this zero stars if I could. Completely useless app.

now they won’t let me view any data unless i consent to pages and pages of supplying personsal info to advertizers. So it’s byebye from me, i will be deleting the app right after i submit this.

Charts broken

All charts for every single metal have been broken on iOS for several days. None will load. From past experience this glitch will likely take weeks to resolve - if ever.

No historic price charts anymore.

Can not see historic price like 1 day, 30 days, 1 year anymore,etc. Update. I notice this as a possible explanation on kitco website. Stock price changes are shown wrong

Percent changes for stocks don’t match the dollar changes. Some are positive when they should be negative. Screenshot sent via email.

I have not had sound on any of the news vids for almost 2 months. I just deleted the app and uploaded again and still no sound.
