It’s all about the customer service! Everyone is kind, helpful, and treats us like human beings. My whole family banks with GB because they care - you can’t find that at the big banks. We’re lifers!
In 30 years GBFCU has always been there for me and many other members. I thank them for all those years of support. I doubt I will have another 30 years with GBFCU, but I will give it the old college try and hopefully get close.
The app is always down and I can’t access my money, and at the most inopportune times too, like on weekends or after the credit union is closed; not to mention the credit union itself constantly and consistently having issues. I am not satisfied at all with this place. I’ve been very patient... 6+ years’ worth of time. I think I’m ready to change!
I’ve been trying to set up online banking for the last week. When trying to set up the ability to transfer between the credit union and an outside checking account, I need a verification code to initiate the transfer. Okay sure, whatever. They don’t send it as a text. Instead they call, I answer, and receive a voicemail stating that they’re unable to leave me a code. Then the call ends. Unimaginably frustrating. They’re great in person but the app is borderline useless.
