Applying for loans and getting the loan was easier faster and fanstastic support. Website to manage loan was absolutely garbage. There is no way to find out how much loan is left . Dumb app. HDFC lost me as a customer.
Agreed to earlier review by Arvind. This is web Ui and with a poor user experience. You have to type in user name and password every time you log in no face recognition or easy log in option. Performance of the app is slow. The balance information updates available end of the financial year and there is no option of making part payment online. Practically this app has no of use for me and deleted it within hour of installation :)
This is basically a web UI in app form. We shouldn’t actually call this an app. This UI version doesn’t allow password to be saved for quick login. I am not sure if HDFC limited CEO is using this app and not sure who hired those people in first place. Previous version of this app was somewhat good and this update made everything worse. Tired of customer service folks.
App is garbage. It doesn’t even open. I’m connected to my WiFi which is very fast (68mbps says speed test) and your app is saying no internet connection. How am I writing this review then? You should fire your app developers and hire some quality software engineers. Real quality engineer, not just engineers who are taking salary and developing this kind of crap.
Usable until recently till critical features removed
Barely usable and useful till last release. It was a good start. Now, with latest release, value has diminished a bit as key features have been removed. Can we please have balance loan amount feature back. Also this app will create a lot of value for me if data is refreshed monthly / quarterly for key data points and metrics instead of annually. Such a weird app, I can’t select my date of birth in the app. All future months for any year are disabled, can’t select year at all. 2004 is selected by default and you can’t change year. Not sure how the app is in AppStore without basic testing.
Right now the Send OTP button won't work. In the last the option to pick date of birth didn't work. Looks like the app developers aren't even testing out basic login before rolling out. Unfortunately this is from one of the leading NBFCs.
Generally I am pretty happy with HDFC service and customer support. But this APP is just horrible!! Looks like the overall budget for this app for Rs 500. Certainly the worst financial app experience in my recent experience. I hope they just remove this app from app store, it is just hurting the HDFC brand.
I am keep getting “no internet connection found “ error even though my internet is at good speed (10mbps) , I am able open internet sites , stream HD video but the error message from this app is weird Please help to get this fixed
Can’t login using otp. I haven’t tried the password option though. You cannot select your date of birth. Worst app seen that too related to banking. Spend some money to resolve the issues…
I was able to login until previous version and after updating the app even though the internet is working the error it throws is No Internet connection is found.
ZERO star. It NEVER shows the accurate data and information is ALWAYS weeks OLD. You do not have any customer care support for existing customers and queries you raise never gets a response.
Not able to access HL data on this app at all.. While login it needs DOB but the calendar control is pathetic.. the whole app becomes unresponsive.. looks like pushed to App Store without even basic QA..
All banks housing loans providing partial payments.. it’s almost crime not able to pay my loan partially.. its a long pracess and paerwork still they dont take.. need to raise issue to consumers court..
HDFC is not putting any investment on their apps clearly. This is a junk app which has a very bad user experience. if there was an option, I would give a ‘0’ to this.
The intelligent brains who developed this app, should have spent sometime trying to actually use it. The login hasn’t been working for over a year and emails/phone complaints to customer care are of no use. The team who manages this app, should be fired for building an app that HDFC customers can’t use. And HDFC execs have no time to even try this app and see the problem themselves . Such a pathetic team
After upgrading login is not working, just show the spinner and stays at login page. Issue present for too many months and it’s not yet fixed. Don’t release any upgrade without testing. One of the worst App in the App Store.
I have seen similar review from other users and surprisingly hdfc have not cared to fix it. I wonder if itunes passes on the feedback to them. Issue is login not working, you enter user name and password and it stays there , like HDFC guys, it wont budge.
It’s not allowing me to login in to the app from my iPhone!! Not sure why this app is still available in AppStore!! This should be removed from AppStore until the issue is fixed
It's even doesn't deserve 1 star rating. For the post few months i am not able to login. Enter credentials, click login, a spinner appears momentarily and then login page start as it is.
I don't know about the previous versions but after completing a new install today, I see that it won't respond you for any requests (login/sign up/forgot password) thus becoming a dumb app.
I wish apple has facility to give zero stars. Sorry HDFC but this really pathetic not able to login from last six months. Not expected from bank like HDFC.
